Abstract

Penelitian ini mengembangkan aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis Android yang mengintegrasikan sistem pakar untuk meningkatkan penguasaan diagnostik mesin kapal di kalangan taruna pada mata kuliah Engine Simulator. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk membantu taruna memahami dan mendiagnosis masalah mesin secara mandiri, dengan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model Prototyping, meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan, evaluasi, dan pengujian. Hasil uji coba di Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Makassar menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini memudahkan pengguna dalam simulasi situasi nyata, terbukti dari hasil System Usability Scale (SUS) yang mengindikasikan kegunaan yang cukup baik meskipun memerlukan beberapa perbaikan dalam konsistensi fitur dan navigasi. Secara keseluruhan, aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan diagnostik taruna dan mempersiapkan mereka menghadapi tantangan di industri pelayaran. Abstract

ASSALAM Vocational High School Depok is an educational institution that prepares generations for the world of work. Currently, ASSALAM Vocational High School Depok still uses a manual system in the academic data collection process so that the process takes a long time and is inefficient by having to enter data one by one. Therefore, a system is needed that can manage academic data for ASSALAM Vocational High School Depok. In building the SISKA ASSALAM application, the data collection stage is carried out through observation and interviews with ASSALAM Vocational High School Depok. At the design stage, using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to design the end user. At the development stage, using the R&D development method. Then, for the testing method on the application, using two methods, namely Black-Box Testing and Usability Testing. Based on the test results using Black-Box Testing, the results were 100%. For testing using Usability Testing by filling out questionnaires from 9 respondents, the results were 96%. These results indicate that the SISKA ASSALAM application that was designed has been in accordance with the needs required by ASSALAM Vocational High School Depok.

Abstract

The human face is one of the most dominant parts of the body used to distinguish identities. Facial shape is influenced by gender, race, ethnicity, climate, socioeconomic status, nutrition, and genetic factors. To determine an individual's facial type, facial anthropometric measurements can be conducted. Facial anthropometry is a discipline that measures and analyzes human facial proportions, providing essential information about the differences in shape and size among various races, ages, and genders. Once facial anthropometric data is obtained, one can determine a person's facial type using the facial index formula. The facial index is the ratio of facial height to facial width, multiplied by 100. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University, with a total of 64 research subjects, consisting of 32 Acehnese individuals and 32 Minangnese individuals who met the inclusion criteria on August 30, 2023. This study is descriptive-analytic with univariate analysis. The results of this study indicate that the facial type of Acehnese individuals is leptoprosopic, with 14 individuals (43.75%), while the facial type of Minangnese individuals is also leptoprosopic, with 13 individuals (40.6%).

Abstract

This community service project aims to highlight the critical importance of effective family financial management, particularly within the context of Islamic principles among Indonesian Muslim families. Conducted at Yayasan Daarut Tauhiid, South Tangerang. Proper financial management in the family is essential because it ensures the well-being of the household, prepares for unexpected events, and enables investments that align with religious and ethical values. The program emphasized smart investment strategies by guiding participants to choose the most suitable Sharia-compliant financial products and prioritize long-term benefits over short-term gains. Topics covered included budgeting for essential needs, the importance of saving and establishing emergency funds, and selecting reliable halal investment instruments such as Islamic mutual funds, sukuk, and gold. Interactive seminars, discussions, and practical simulations were employed to ensure participants understood the nuances of making informed financial decisions. Results demonstrated a significant increase in participants' awareness of how proper financial management supports family well-being while adhering to Sharia guidelines, differentiating between conventional and Islamic financial products. This community service project underscores the necessity of financial literacy and education to cultivate sustainable family financial stability according to Islamic principles, contributing to both economic security and moral integrity.Keywords: Islamic Finance, Family Financial Management, Smart Investment, Sharia Investment, Halal Investment, Financial Literacy

Abstract

A Gravitational Vortex Water Turbine (GWVT) is an appropriate device to harness the kinetic energy of water to convert it into rotational mechanical energy in low-head. The water flow is directed into a circular basin, which can produce a vortex and can rotate the turbine blades. Turbine performance is influenced by the shape of the blade, so an optimal blade shape is required. Turbine performance is influenced by the shape of the blades, which can rotate optimally. This study aims to determine the effect of adding baffle plates in the blade on the performance of two-stage GWVT using experimental methods. The variation used is the proportion of baffle plate on the runner in the first stage with variations without baffle plate, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The data taken in the test is the torque and rotation at each additional blade plate. Torque measurement uses a rope brake system, and rotation measurement uses a tachometer. The results of the study showed that the addition of a 50% baffle plate in the first stage can capture the energy of the water vortex more optimally. Abstract

Android malware is an application that targets Android devices to steal crucial data, including money or confidential information from Android users. Recent years have seen a surge in research on Android malware, as its types continue to evolve, and cybersecurity requires periodic improvements. This research focuses on detecting Android malware attack patterns using deep learning and convolutional neural network (CNN) models, which classify and detect malware attack patterns on Android devices into two categories: malware and non-malware. This research contributes to understanding how effective the CNN models are by comparing the ratio of data used with several epochs. We effectively use CNN models to detect malware attack patterns. The results show that the deep learning method with the CNN model can manage unstructured data. The research results indicate that the CNN model demonstrates a minimal error rate during evaluation. The comparison of accuracy, precision, recall, F1 Score, and area under the curve (AUC) values demonstrates the recognition of malware attack patterns, reaching an average of 92% accuracy in data testing. This provides a holistic understanding of the model's performance and its practical utility in detecting Android malware.

Abstract

The low level of Mastery of Minimum Competencies among students is caused by students still experiencing difficulties in developing their critical thinking skills. In classroom learning, students still have difficulty understanding literacy and numeracy.  The aim of this research is to determine the increase in the ability to master minimum competencies in elementary school students using the Problem-Based Learning model. The method used in this research is quantitative research, with an experimental research design. The experimental method has several designs, one of which is the quasi-experimental method (quasi-experimental). The sample in this research was students at Cibadak Elementary School, Bogor.  The sampling technique used is non-random sampling, where the research sample is taken not at random. The research results show that there is an increase in students' mastery of minimum competencies by using the Problem-Based Learning model. This is shown by the calculated t value obtained being greater than the t table with the calculated T value of 2.46, while the T table value is 1.65; this result shows that there is an increase in the use of the PBL model in improving students' Minimum Competency Assessment (MCA) abilities. Meanwhile, the results of calculating the N-Gain value obtained a value of 0.73% in the high category. This is because the use of the Problem-Based Learning model can facilitate students to be actively involved in learning, so that students' understanding of literacy and numeracy questions can increase.

Abstract

This research discusses the backend design of the Golang-based GeoProperty application at PT Nerdvana Solusi Teknologi, which is designed to improve the property search experience with the integration of Geographic Information System (GIS) technology. This research focuses on developing the backend using the Agile Scrum method to ensure optimal functionality in managing spatial and property data. The backend supports key features such as interactive map-based property search, polygon input for search area boundaries, and Point of Interest (POI) visualization around the property. Testing was conducted using the blackbox testing method to evaluate API functionality. The results show that the backend system can meet user needs with reliable performance, provide accurate visualization of property locations, and comprehensive information that supports prospective buyers' decisions.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of technology, particularly Android-based applications combined with expert systems, in vocational education at the Makassar Maritime Polytechnic. The application is designed to assist cadets in understanding ship machinery through interactive simulations that facilitate the detection of issues in main propulsion engines. The findings indicate that simulator-based learning provides convenience but is not yet capable of detecting problems in detail. The use of Android-based applications is expected to support cadets’ decision-making in addressing industrial challenges and enhance the quality of education to better align with the demands of the business and industrial sectors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of ENHYPEN as a brand ambassador on the purchase decisions of the Nabati Korean Goguma collaborative product among teenagers in West Java, (2) the influence of ENHYPEN’s photocard promotion on the purchase decisions of the product, and (3) the combined influence of both variables. The study highlights the strategic role of social media platforms in shaping consumer behavior, particularly among younger demographics. It emphasizes the effectiveness of K-pop marketing strategies in attracting Gen Z consumers and suggests that companies should continue to leverage fandom culture and increase campaign visibility on social media for optimal results. The population in this study consists of teenagers aged 15–21 years in West Java, totaling 5,617,920 people based on data from the Central Statistics Agency of West Java Prov ince. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling, with data collected through a questionnaire method. The data analysis techniques employed include classical assumption tests and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis. The results, processed through SPSS, show that the data used in this study are valid and reliable based on validity and reliability tests.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh brand ambassador ENHYPEN terhadap keputusan pembelian produk kolaborasi Nabati Korean Goguma di kalangan remaja di Jawa Barat. (2) pengaruh promosi photocard ENHYPEN terhadap keputusan pembelian produk kolaborasi Nabati Korean Goguma di kalangan remaja di Jawa Barat. (3) pengaruh brand ambassador dan promosi photocard ENHYPEN terhadap keputusan pembelian produk kolaborasi Nabati Korean Goguma di kalangan remaja di Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menyoroti peran strategis platform media sosial dalam membentuk perilaku konsumen, khususnya di kalangan demografi yang lebih muda. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi efektivitas strategi pemasaran K-pop dalam menarik konsumen Gen Z dan menyarankan perusahaan terus memanfaatkan budaya fandom dan meningkatkan visibilitas kampanye di media sosial untuk hasil yang optimal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja di Jawa Barat berusia 15-21 tahun yang berjumlah 5.617.920 bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistika Provinsi Jawa Barat . Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis dengan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian setelah data diolah melalui SPSS dari pengujian data yang dilakukan hasil uji validitas dan hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian dinyatakan valid dan reliabel.
