Abstract

This article aims to analyze political education using a religious approach conducted by election organizers in Sambas Regency. This study is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, with the locus of the study is the General Election Commission (KPU) and the General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of Sambas Regency. Data was collected from March to June 2022 through participative observation and in-depth interviews. The informants in this study amounted to six people. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model interactive qualitative analysis technique, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Data analysis shows that using a religious approach in political education is inseparable from the socio-religious background of the Sambas Regency society, which is mostly Malay, where Islam plays a significant role in the life of the Sambas Malay people. Implementing political education is by engaging religious institutions in various political education programs. The engagement of religious institutions is based on the argument that they are opinion leaders of Muslims and have a better understanding of the proper religious narratives in explaining elections and politics to the religious society. Political education with a religious approach is also carried out by utilizing Muslim religious celebrations and ceremonies to socialize politics and elections in society. Based on these findings, the conclusion is that religion not only plays a role in religiosity and spiritual life but is also consumed and commodified as a tool to enhance a society's political understanding and knowledge. Abstract

The psychology of child development is one of the most common problems, especially in the family environment. Difficulty in educating because it is not by expectations prevents children not growing or developing according to their age. This article uses a type of library research. This research was conducted to collect and analyse data from books, magazines, newspapers, and other works. Library research uses a qualitative approach. Based on the results of various studies presented to discuss the problem currently faced, not all family environments can meet the hopes and needs of children, especially in their developmental psychology. A family environment that acts as a good educator and meets standards becomes a necessity for parents. If not, then the child's developmental psychology is at stake, because parents and children work together to support their future. Family environment, especially parents, is the first education for child development psychology. The process of child development in various aspects, such as language, physical-motor, and emotional, must receive important support in the family environment because it can be used as capital in children's lives in the future.

Abstract

In the Indonesian context, the implementation of the Family Planning program, commonly referred to as KB, inherently involves gender issues. Due to the prevailing mindset among the public that “the main consumers of this program are women.” This situation certainly has negative implications. Women, who have long been regarded as the primary bearers of responsibility in the domestic sphere, must also contend with the side effects of contraceptive use, such as significant physical and psychological changes. The changes women experience as a result of contraceptive use often become the primary reason for men’s dissatisfaction, thereby further marginalizing women’s positions. This paper aims to re-examine this stigma through the lens of Islam and to examine whether the contraception program is only the responsibility of women. This qualitative research uses Faqihuddin Abdul Kodir's mubādalah (reciprocal) theory as its analytical tool. Based on the study, it was found that Islam does not explicitly specify which gender should use contraception. Islam emphasizes that responsibility in a household, especially in the context of contraception, is not limited to a particular party. Instead, all complement each other, noting that all decisions result from communication and mutual deliberation, where all impacts and consequences that arise later have been discussed so that no party is burdened or disadvantaged.

Abstract

Human existence begins with a weakness and disability that will then move towards strength. Humans can easily utilize the grace and gift that is bestowed upon him, but man must fulfill a duty to his God. Human dignity with his Lord is not measured by how high his skill and position, his or her wealth, and his wealth. But when God measured it is his taqwa. Human beings in the Islamic perspective will remain born in a state of fithrah, that is pure, clean, free from all sin, and has the tendency to accept religion, faith, and faith. Humans become good or bad are the result of educational and environmental factors, not their original habits. According to Abd al-Rahman al-Bani quoted by an-Nahlawi states the task of Islamic education is to maintain and maintain the students' nature, then develop and prepare for all the potential possessed , by directing the nature and potential of existing and towards goodness and perfection, and realizing a program gradually. (Nahlawi, 1996) The development of human nature can be done with various learning activities. That is through an institution. The development of human nature can be done by learning activities. That is through various institutions. Learning that is not focused is through education only in school, but also can be done outside the school, whether in the family, in the community, or through the existing social science constitution.
