Abstract

This study aims to analyze the construct validity of psycho-pedagogical variables consisting of pedagogical competence, organizational culture, self-efficacy, and spiritual intelligence in an effort to improve teacher performance in inclusive schools. The study was conducted with a quantitative approach using the SEM-PLS analysis technique. Data were obtained from 250 teachers who teach in inclusive schools in Semarang City. The results showed that all indicators in each construct had a loading factor value of > 0.7, Average Variance Extracted (AVE) > 0.5, and Composite Reliability (CR) > 0.7, indicating that all variables had good construct validity. These findings contribute to the development of measuring instruments in the context of inclusive education and provide an empirical basis for policy making to improve teacher quality.

Abstract

Community Learning Activity Centers (PKBM) are known to be of low quality and have minimal achievement of school quality indicators. This study demonstrates the direct and indirect influence of management innovation, school ethos, and community involvement on school quality. The sampling technique was stratified cluster random sampling, with a sample size of 400 administrators spread across 15 East Java Province, Indonesia cities. The research design used a quantitative approach with a structured equation model (SEM). Data collection used questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The results showed that management innovation, school ethos, and community involvement significantly influenced school quality. Management innovation implemented by the principal and management team was proven to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process and school governance. The high school ethos is reflected in teacher enthusiasm, student discipline, and a positive culture within the school environment, directly impacting educational service quality. Meanwhile, community involvement from parents, the school committee, and the surrounding environment strengthens support for school programs, both in material and moral aspects. These three variables simultaneously contribute to improving school quality, both in terms of student academic achievement, availability of facilities and infrastructure, and the school's reputation in the eyes of the community.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran IPA terutama di jenjang Sekolah Dasar, sering kali siswa kesulitan dalam mencerna materi pembelajaran yang sifatnya abstrak dan belum memanfaatkan media pembelajaran yang sesuai. Integrasi teknologi dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran digital menjadi salah satu strategi penting untuk menjawab tantangan pendidikan di era global. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain berupa Systematic Literature Review terhadap jurnal yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif untuk pembelajaran IPA pada tahun 2019-2025, yang diambil dari google scholar, scopus, maupun crossref. Dari 100 jurnal, kemudian dilakukan seleksi dengan alur PRISMA, dan ditetapkan kriteria inklusi, sehingga didapatkan10 artikel yang masuk ke dalam kriteria inklusi yang ditentukan. Hasil dari telaah jurnal ada beberapa jenis media pembelajaran interaktif yang dikembangkan untuk mata pelajaran IPA pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar, seperti VCD interaktif, Articulate Storyline, PowerPoint, Adobe Flash Professional, Canva, dan Google-Sites. Berdasarkan kajian literatur yang dilakukan, sebagian besar penelitian berfokus pada peningkatan hasil belajar IPA. Namun belum mengkaji dampak media terhadap aspek kognitif dan non kognitif yang lainnya. Sehingga sangat memungkinkan untuk melakukan penelitian dan pengembangan lebih.

Abstract

In the past decade, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in school education has experienced rapid growth. This study aims to analyze trends in annual scientific publications, average citations, thematic evolution, keyword co-occurrence, and author collaboration (co-authorship) related to this topic. Data were retrieved from the Scopus database for the period 2015–2024 and analyzed using Biblioshiny and VOSviewer. The analysis reveals a significant surge in publications after 2020, with a high level of global collaboration and a dominance of contributions from developed countries such as the United States and Finland. Thematic evolution reveals a shift from technical topics such as machine learning and data science toward more applied and contextual issues, including AI literacy, ChatGPT, and secondary education. Keyword mapping identifies five key clusters, emphasizing AI integration in education systems, personalized learning technologies, and the intersection of AI with social and ethical concerns. This study offers a comprehensive overview of the scholarly landscape and highlights challenges such as unequal adoption in developing countries, algorithmic bias, and the need for inclusive, ethical education policies. The findings aim to guide researchers, educators, and policymakers in promoting AI-informed teacher training, developing relevant AI literacy curricula, and fostering international collaboration to support equitable and effective use of intelligent technologies in school education.

Abstract

The government continues to strive to reduce the unemployment rate through competency-based training programs at the Job Training Center. This study aims to investigate the implementation of collaborative governance in the sewing training program at UPTD BLK Kendal, employing a qualitative approach and a case study research design. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed interactively using Ansell Gash's theory. The results showed that the collaboration process went quite well through five stages: (1) Face to face dialogue through FKLPID; (2) BLK trust building gives full trust to LPK as the technical implementer of training; (3) Commitment to process through MoU; (4) Share to understanding already has the same understanding of the output and outcomes of the training program; and (5) Intermediate outcomes of the success of trainees in the competency test and absorbed into the world of work. As well as intermediate results in the form of certified graduates and absorbed work. However, there are still challenges such as suboptimal communication, participant readiness, and differences in training facilities. This research is expected to contribute to enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of training program implementation strategies and strengthening collaboration among stakeholders to address unemployment.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are a key competency of the 21st century that needs to be developed not only in formal education but also in non-formal education. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of various innovative learning strategies in developing critical thinking skills and to evaluate their relevance in the context of non-formal education. Using a narrative literature review approach, twelve relevant scientific articles were analyzed thematically. The synthesis results show that approaches such as Teaching Case, Self-Organized Learning Environment (SOLE), blended learning, and the integration of technology and artificial intelligence (AI) are consistently able to improve critical thinking indicators, including interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference. These approaches are considered relevant and applicable in non-formal education because they are contextual, flexible, and support independent and collaborative learning. This study recommends strengthening the capacity of non-formal facilitators and adapting reflective and technology-based learning strategies to create a learning environment that supports the formation of critical and empowered learners.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang sains di tingkat sekolah dasar secara nasional sudah banyak dilakukan, namun penelitian yang terpublish secara internasional dan terindeks scopus membahas secara khusus tentang sains di tingkat sekolah dasar masih sangat minim. Tujuan penulisan riset ini sebagai bahan untuk mengetahui tren penelitian sains di tingkat sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis bibliometrik yang menggunakan sumber dari scopus dengan atasan publikasi dari tahun 2018 hingga 2022 pada aplikasi Publish or Perish (PoP), serta memanfaatkan aplikasi Vosviewer sebagai alat visualisasi. Analisis data melalui PoP pada riset ini berdasarkan hasil penelurusan dengan kata kunci natural science yang ditulis pada kolom title words dan elementary school sebagai kata kunci. Ditemukan 46 publikasi dalam scopus selama 2018-2022 yang membahas tentang sains di sekolah dasar. Artikel publikasi tentang ilmu pengetahuan alam di sekolah dasar selama 2018-2022 lebih banyak diteliti pada tahun 2019 berdasarkan hasil analisis data melalui Publish or Perish. Hasil riset analisis bibliometrik menuunjukkan bahwa tren penelitian sains di tingkat sekolah dasar dalam kurun waktu lima tahun (2018-2022) lebih banyak membahas tentang proses pembelajaran secara umum dan pengembangan penelitian tentang sains di sekolah dasar yang secara spesifik membahas tentang implikasi pada penguatan literasi sains berbasis ilmu pengetahuan alam bagi siswa belum banyak diteliti.

Abstract

Permasalahan penelitian adalah kesulitan dalam mengatasi kemiskinan yang disebabkan oleh peningkatan jumlah pengangguran sebagai akibat dari kurangnya keterampilan yang dibutuhkan untuk pekerjaan produktif yang dapat meningkatkan pendapatan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi program life skill pada pendidikan kesetaraan paket B di SKB Ungaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Teknik analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 5 orang, yaitu kepala SKB, Tutor pembelajaran life skill dan tiga warga belajar. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan proses implementasi program life skill meliputi perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Faktor pendukung meliputi: kompetensi tutor, ketersediaan sarana prasarana, strategi pembelajaran, partisipasi aktif warga belajar. Di sisi lain, faktor penghambat meliputi: program life skill yang kurang beragam, keterbatasan jumlah sarana prasarana, minat warga belajar yang tidak merata.

Abstract

The Srikandi group is a group of women who have concerns about the Prevention of Trafficking in Persons (TPPO). Therefore, the Kita Institute packages TPPO as a strengthening of the women's economy, namely by empowering the women of the Srikandi Group through training in making various chili sauces. This study aims to describe the implementation process, success, supporting factors and inhibiting factors. This study uses a qualitative approach with research subjects including Kita Institute managers, Srikandi Group Managers, and Srikandi Group Members. The data validity technique uses source triangulation with data analysis technique using data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the research that have been carried out show that 1) The process of implementing women's empowerment in the Srikandi Group consists of three stages. The first stage is awareness through socialization and motivation. Then, the ability transformation stage is to increase knowledge and skills in making various chili sauces. The last stage is capacity improvement, where the women of the Srikandi group have been able to produce various chili sauces independently. 2) Women's empowerment of the Srikandi group succeeded in producing a variety of quality chili sauce with a durability of two months and increasing income 3) Supporting factors for empowerment are the availability of human resources, natural resources, infrastructure, high motivation of participants, female participation, and work partners. Meanwhile, the factors that inhibit empowerment are difficulties in adjusting the time and lack of confidence of Srikandi group women to start their own business.

Abstract

Mempelajari Bahasa Mandarin dalam konteks profesional dan pertumbuhan pribadi merupakan kebutuhan masa kini. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan manajemen pembelajaran kursus Bahasa Mandarin di LKP AEC Semarang, dengan fokus pada perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, serta identifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara semi tersetruktur, dan dokumentasi, serta triangulasi sumber untuk keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pembelajaran dalam kursus Bahasa Mandarin di LKP AEC Semarang meliputi: 1) perencanaan pembelajaran mulai dari mengidentidikasi kebutuhan warga belajar, merekrut tutor, pendaftaran warga belajar, kemudian merancang komponen pembelajaran, 2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran berlangsung dengan jadwal yang fleksibel, terstruktur dan fokus pada pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran serta penggunaan teknologi pendukung, sambil menjaga lingkungan belajar dengan pemberian motivasi, 3) evaluasi pembelajaran mencakup penilaian hasil belajar, penilaian kinerja tutor, dan pelaporan hasil pembelajaran, 4) faktor pendukung termasuk kesiapan diri, motivasi, penguasaan materi, fasilitas dan sumber belajar, serta komunikasi, dan 5) faktor penghambat meliputi jadwal pembelajaran yang fleksibel, motivasi dan penguasaan materi yang rendah, serta tantangan teknis. Kesimpulannya, manajemen pembelajaran kursus Bahasa Mandarin di LKP AEC Semarang telah memberikan lingkungan belajar yang efektif, namun perlu peningkatan di beberapa aspek untuk optimasi lebih lanjut.
