Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the implementation of lab activities based Vee diagram to bring out students metacognitive skill and increasing students' learning achievement to the excretory system. Quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design was conducted to the classes. Lab activities based Vee diagram was implemented to the experimental class and lab activities based guided inquiry was implemented to the control class. The sample was determined by purposive sampling technique. Data of the research was obtained from student’ worksheet that applying metacognitive strategies and the result of  pre test and post test. Metacognitive skills of experimental class is higher than the control class. Based on analysis, metacognitive skills of experimental class was 75.0 and metacognitive skill of control class was 67.8. Learning achievement of experimental class is higher than control class. The results of the test showed an increasing (N gain) of learning achievement experimental class was 0.53 and control class was 0.41. T test showed t count t table, which means that there are significant differences between pre-test and post test. Correlation test results showed the corellation between metacognitive skills and learning achievement is very high at 96.7%Keywords: Vee diagram; Guided inquiry; Metacognitive skill; Learning achievement

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan rekayasa dan sikap kewirausahaan siswa setelah diimplementasikan Project Based Learning terintegrasi STEM (PjBL-STEM) pada materi fermentasi di kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Kuningan. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasi experiment dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi keterampilan rekayasa, survey skala sikap kewirausahaan dan angket. Analisis data meliputi hasil pretes, postes dan n-Gain untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan rekayasa secara deskriptif dan survey skala sikap kewirausahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) rata-rata n-Gain kelas eksperimen 0,81 dengan kriteria tinggi dan kelas control 0,32 dengan kriteria sedang; 2) sikap kewirausahaan siswa pada kelas eksperimen memperoleh rata-rata 78,33 dan rata-rata kelas kontrol 71,94.

Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar policy essentially aims to accelerate the achievement of national goals of education. One of the major changes in the policy is the implementation of the National Assessment (NA) which substitutes national exams and changes the focus of assessment into literacy and numeracy skills. This leads to a demand for teacher to adapt learning process and classroom assessment for facilitating students’ literacy and numeracy skills. Therefore, teacher understanding about the element in national assessment is a very important factor in the implementation of National Assessment. As the response, this study collects data about teacher understanding from 100 elementary and junior high school teachers in the Kuningan Regency area. The results shows that the elementary and junior high school teachers already have a good understanding of the objectives of NA and awareness that the implementation of NA would have an impact on providing a more varied learning and assessment experience. However, it is shown that the good understanding and awareness is not supported by capability to develop literacy and numeracy questions. The support for improving capability in making questions that align with the NA is needed in order to provide appropriate measurement and assessment of student learning outcomes and provide the basis for decision making in the classroom learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan sebagai berikut, Pertama untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Levels of Inquiry terhadap Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) dan penguasaan konsep siswa pada topik fotosintesis di kelas VII. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dan desain penelitian menggunakan nonequivalent control group design. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan yaitu uji tindependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan proses sains dan penguasaan konsep siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran Lefels of Inquiry lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Learning patterns that only use blackboards, books, worksheets, and PowerPoint slides generally only focus on the teacher while students listen, take notes, and memorize more. This learning pattern can cause boredom and monotonous learning so students are not interested in the learning process. One effort to overcome this problem is to develop appropriate learning media such as flipbook-based learning multimedia. This research was conducted in class VII SMPIT Al Multazam Kuningan to develop flipbook-based learning multimedia. This research was conducted using the R&D (Research and Development) method which refers to the ADDIE model. The percentage of media validation scores by experts is 87% from linguists, 90% from content/material experts, and 89% from media experts. Furthermore, at the trial stage, flipbook-based learning multimedia received an assessment percentage of 89.8% for the material aspect, 87.55% for the language aspect, 88.9% for the media aspect, and 88.75% for the average percentage. These results indicate that flipbook-based learning multimedia is very feasible to be applied in the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Berbasis Augmented Reality yang digunakan dalam praktikum materi organ indera. Penelitian dilaksanakan di MAN 3 Cirebon pada bulan April sampai dengan September 2022 di kelas XI MIA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas XI MIA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan dengan metode Research and Development (R & D) dan model pengembangan analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation (ADDIE). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar penilaian ahli, tes, rubrik keterampilan proses sains siswa dan angket siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata hasil validasi dari dua validator sebesar 93,4 % dan keterlaksanaan LKPD 96,3 %.  Penguasaan Konsep mengalami peningkatan dibuktikan dengan hasil N Gain kelas kontrol yang menggunakan LKPD biasa dengan torso senilai 12,2 % sedangkan hasil N Gain kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan LKPD Berbasis Augmented Reality senilai 56,6 %. Nilai rata-rata keterampilan proses sains juga ada perbedaan yaitu kelas kontrol sebesar 74,73 sedangkan keterampilan proses sains kelas eksperimen sebesar 92,62. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa LKPD Berbasis Augmented Reality yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan Penguasaan Konsep dan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Respon siswa terhadap LKPD Berbasis Augmented Reality  juga dapat dikategorikan baik.

Abstract

At this time, the challenges of the rapid flow of globalization and technology are increasingly challenging. Education has an important role in answering and preparing the current and next generations. Through ongoing curriculum development, this is one answer to meeting the required competencies. Indonesia, through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, always strives to create innovations in improving the quality of education in Indonesia in order to create a generation of people who are tough and able to face the challenges of the times, especially in curriculum changes. The independent curriculum or what was previously known as the prototype curriculum has already been implemented. inaugurated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) starting from the 2022/2023 academic year (Kemendikbud, 2022). The way for the Merdeka Curriculum to run well is first by aligning perceptions to create one vision. Then the curriculum is implemented slowly, after that it is evaluated if a problem occurs. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of P5 activities as a project to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile in schools and the impact of its implementation on students. This research was conducted at a public junior high school in Jakarta which implemented P5 in the independent curriculum. The sample in this study consisted of 3 schools. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews by researchers with sources, namely science teachers who taught class VII who had implemented the independent curriculum, P5 facilitators, teacher questionnaires for science teachers who taught class VII, and student questionnaires for class VII students. The document analysis used is the P5 activity module. The results of this research are that the implementation of P5 (Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile Project) in the independent and sharing curriculum has prioritized project-based learning in order to realize the Pancasila student profile. In developing the P5 module (Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile Project) in developing the Pancasila student profile, some schools are already familiar with Project Based Learning, the application of problems that are not yet contextual and learning that is not in accordance with student needs so that learning is not yet differentiated. The response to the implementation of P5 (Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile Project) in the development of the Pancasila student profile was that 36% of students responded "Agree" to the application of Pancasila values, while 60% of students gave the response "Strongly Agree". With a response percentage reaching 69% for the "Agree" criteria, it can be concluded that students are able to apply the values ​​of Pancasila with Agree in everyday life.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation of strengthening Pancasila student profiles in the independent curriculum in junior high school science learning is based on student responses. This research is a qualitative research. The type of data presented in qualitative research is primary data obtained from student response questionnaires. The population in this study is all junior high schools in Cirebon city that have implemented the independent independent curriculum, with a total of 30 schools consisting of 13 public schools and 17 private schools. School sampling in this study used a proportional random sampling technique. Sampling in this study the authors used a sampling method with a ratio of 30%, so the number of school samples was 9 schools with 4 public schools and 5 private schools. In collecting data, the writer uses indirect data collection techniques in the form of a Linkert Scale questionnaire instrument. Based on the results, Strengthening Pancasila Student Profiles in the independent curriculum based on students' responses stated that in the learning process facilitating the development of Pancasila student profiles, students agreed to gain an understanding of the science context according to CP and learning and assessments that support literacy and numeracy skills, gain an understanding of the science context according to with the learning outcomes of Phase D, carry out activities or assignments that are relevant to the skills on learning outcomes of Phase D and Pancasila Student Profiles, get learning activities with literacy and numeracy, and students agree to get an assessment in the science learning process conducted by the teacher. So it can be concluded that the implementation of strengthening the profile of Pancasila students in the independent independent curriculum changed to Middle School Science learning has been implemented well in the Science learning process by teachers and can be understood by students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the scientific reasoning abilities and motivation of students currently still low. The low reasoning ability and motivation of students is caused by a lack of teachers in applying reasoning abilities in learning in the classroom. To overcome these problems, literacy and numeracy teaching materials with STAD are one of the learning efforts to improve students' scientific reasoning abilities through contextual learning and discovery learning. This study aims to determine students' scientific reasoning abilities through the development of literacy and numeracy teaching materials with STAD. This research method is a research and development method or Research and Development (R & D) to develop the media used for literacy and numeracy teaching materials with STAD. The research sample consisted of two classes consisting of an experimental class and a control class. The results showed a significant increase in students' scientific reasoning abilities in the experimental class after the implementation of literacy and numeracy teaching materials with STAD when compared to the control class using conventional teaching materials, because the use of literacy and numeracy teaching materials with STAD is an interesting thing for students so that they become more enthusiastic and enthusiastic in learning. The development of literacy and numeracy teaching materials with STAD is very well implemented at SMPN 2 Ciwaringin for the science learning process in substances and their changes, especially if SMPN 2 Ciwaringin has limited tools and materials as well as a laboratory or SMPN 2 Ciwaringin.

Abstract

Merdeka belajar merupakan kebijakan strategis dalam rangka mewujudkan transformasi pengelolaan pendidikan di Indonesia yang bertujuan untuk mendorong perbaikan mutu pembelajaran dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Kebijakan Merdeka belajar salah satunya adalah mengganti pelaksanaan Ujian Nasional menjadi pelaksanaan Asesmen Nasional, yang disebut sebagai Asesmen Nasional (AN) yang mengukur literasi, numerasi, survey karakter dan lingkungan Pengembangan soal asesmen kelas berkaitan erat dengan capaian hasil belajar siswa dan penguasaan literasi dan numerasi oleh pemerintah, selain itu Asesmen kelas juga harus merujuk kepada soal-soal Asesmen Nasional yang menekankan pada penalaran, dengan demikian pengembangan soal Asesmen Kelas dirasa berat oleh guru-guru, sehingga sangat sedikit guru-guru yang memiliki kesadaran penuh untuk menjadi tim pengembang soal asesmen kelas. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang prinsip-prinsip penulisan soal penalaran berbasis asesmen nasional untuk mendukung program merdeka belajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini; (1) pemberian materi prinsip-prinsip, karakteristik dan indikator (2) pengembangan instrumen asesmen literasi dan numerasi, (3) penelaahan soal literasi dan numerasi. Hasil yang dicapai adalah peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan soal literasi dan numerasi berbasis asesmen nasional yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengukur capaian pembelajaran di kelas.
