Abstract

Cisaat, sebuah destinasi wisata berpotensi, masih belum dikenal di kalangan pelancong meskipun memiliki potensi pertumbuhan yang besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan  peningkatkan branding di Pusat Informasi Wisata (TIC) melalui media digital dengan menggunakan Teori Branding Mind-Behavior-Visual. Melalui studi kasus dengan empat informan, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan platform seperti YouTube, Instagram, dan website khusus telah memperluas jangkauan Cisaat di luar batas wilayahnya. Analisis menggunakan Teori Branding menekankan perlunya penyempurnaan visualisasi pesan dan konsistensi di berbagai platform digital, serta optimalisasi fitur yang ada. Peningkatan signifikan dalam keterlibatan digital, terbukti dari peningkatan jumlah pengikut, menandakan perbaikan yang signifikan. Secara keseluruhan, memanfaatkan media digital untuk branding Desa Wisata Cisaat melalui TIC telah terbukti efektif dalam menarik perhatian publik. Implikasi teoritis menyarankan bahwa tiga aspek penting untuk perbaikan branding lebih cocok digunakan dalam media digital karena pembahasan yang komprehensif dalam konteks ini.

Abstract

Quality of work life is an important concept that determines happiness in human life as well as job satisfaction that supports to increased motivation, organizational commitment, and work productivity. One factor that affects the level of job satisfaction is job fairness. Distributive and procedural justice are strong predictors of the fairness felt by employees. The intervention aims to increase fairness and job satisfaction through job evaluations that produce job grading as the beginning of the reward management system. This intervention is also an implementation of the concept of quality of work life that will be applied in the company. This study applies an action research using quantitative and qualitative methods at the same time (mix-method). A total of 79 job holders in 13 divisions at a head office became participants. In the pre-assessment stage, measurement of quality of work life is carried out, in the assessment stage, job satisfaction and job fairness measurements are taken. The results revealed that in the intervention stage a job description is reviewed as part of the job analysis and job evaluation using the Hay method to produce job grading can significantly increase the mechanisms of rewards system. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed.

Abstract

Teknologi Informasi serta Komunikasi (TIK) dalam revolusi industri 4.0 memegang peran vital dalam mendukung pertumbuhan sebuah organisasi dan individu yang menggunakannya. Dasar dari sebuah pengembangan TIK tersebut diantaranya adalah infrastruktur TIK yang memadai, perangkat keras serta perangkat lunak, sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas serta keamanan dari TIK itu sendiri. Pada era disrupsi saat ini pemerintah mendorong kementerian/lembaga melakukan transformasi yang sebelumnya segala informasi masih bersifat manual menjadi sebuah informasi yang disajikan secara elektronik, hal ini bertujuan agar segala hal yang berhubungan dengan tupoksi kementerian/lembaga tersebut menjadi transparan dan dapat di akses oleh masyarakat luas, yang mana hal tersebut belum sepenuhnya berjalan di Indonesia. Pada tulisan ini akan dibahas beberapa faktor, metode dan proses bisnis seperti apa yang dapat diimplementasikan agar layanan e-government di Indonesia siap dalam menghadapi era disrupsi revolusi industri 4.0 dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan/studi literatur. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan terkait hal apa saja yang harus dipenuhi demi terciptanya layanan e - government yang lebih modern

Abstract

Pengetahuan dalam organisasi adalah pondasi utama dalam persaingan. Pengetahuan dimiliki oleh individu-individu dalam organisasi yang berkaitan dengan proses bisnis. Untuk mengelola pengetahuan tersebut dikembangkan teknologi Knowledge Management System (KMS). KMS berfungsi untuk membantu mengelola pengetahuan sehingga tidak hilang dan dapat dipergunakan untuk mendorong kemajuan organisasi. Hambatan utama dalam penerapan KMS adalah motivasi. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh KMS memanfaatkan Moodle dan OpenKM dan metode gamifikasi. Analisis dilakukan untuk mengukur pengaruh KMS terhadap performa sharing knowlwedge. Terdapat 4 hipotesis yang diuji dengan hasil keseluruhannya diterima. Penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan gamifikasi memberikan pengaruh positiv dalam proses knowledge sharing.

Abstract

Background: Indonesia is among the world’s most disaster-prone countries, where early childhood education (ECE) institutions remain vulnerable due to limited preparedness and infrastructure. Teachers often lack confidence and structured procedures for emergency situations. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the GEMA TANGGUH (Movement for Mitigation and Education to Improve Disaster Response) model in enhancing the holistic resilience—cognitive, affective, and psychomotor—of ECE teachers. Methods: This university-based community service program employed a one-group pre–post test design. Eleven teachers and staff, along with 91 students from Aisyiyah Banyudono Playgroup, Boyolali, participated. The intervention consisted of interdisciplinary training on disaster mitigation, installation of IoT-based EWS, and structured evacuation simulations. The evaluation stage was conducted by collecting data through pre–post questionnaires and structured observations, which were then analyzed descriptively to determine mean score improvements and percentage changes across three evaluated domains. Results: The GEMA TANGGUH model produced substantial improvements across all domains. Teachers’ knowledge increased from an average score of 47.5 (pre) to 70.0 (post), a relative gain of 47.4%. Teachers reporting “very confident” rose from 10% to 50%. Psychomotor performance reached 100% accuracy, and student compliance achieved 98.89% (90 out of 91 students), indicating effective knowledge transfer. Conclusion: The GEMA TANGGUH model effectively strengthens comprehensive disaster preparedness among ECE teachers. Uniquely integrating IoT-based Early Warning Systems and Psychological First Aid (PFA)-oriented simulations, the model provides an evidence-based and scalable framework for building holistic resilience, supporting the advancement of disaster-resilient educational institutions in disaster-prone areas.

Abstract

An incinerator is a machine designed to process solid waste through high-temperature combustion technology. Continuous combustion may lead to corrosion, which is often considered an inevitable problem. The purpose of this study is to investigate how combustion duration and corrosive media affect the corrosion rate. The research method employed was an experimental design involving the heating of material. Tests were conducted to analyze the effect of combustion time and corrosive media in the incinerator chamber on the corrosion rate. The material used was ASTM A36 steel with dimensions of 70 mm × 50 mm × 5 mm. The corrosive media employed were rainwater, H₂SO₄, and HCl. The material was heated at 700 °C for 3, 5, and 7 hours. The immersion time in corrosive media was 30 minutes, followed by a cooling period of 7 days. The results indicated that the highest corrosion rate occurred at a combustion time of 7 hours. Thus, the longer the combustion time, the greater the reaction, resulting in an increased corrosion rate. The use of different corrosive media also influenced the corrosion rate. It was found that the highest corrosion rate was 0.00534 mm/year after 7 hours of heating in HCl solution, while the lowest corrosion rate was approximately 0.00077 mm/year in rainwater after 3 hours of heating. Therefore, prolonged heating not only enhances the reaction but also significantly increases the corrosion rate.

Abstract

Women's economic empowerment is a crucial strategy for creating sustainable prosperity and socio-economic resilience in communities. This study aims to formulate an effective, inclusive, and participatory communication strategy to support the economic independence of women micro-entrepreneurs in the creative economy sector. The program was implemented using a descriptive qualitative approach through community needs mapping, experience-based training, and mentoring based on interpersonal communication, social media, and community networks. These activities involved field observations, focus group discussions, in-depth interviews, and participatory evaluation through reflection and case studies. The results indicate that increased communication literacy, strategic use of digital media, and the formation of a connected women's business community are indicators of real social transformation. Participants experienced increased self-confidence, innovation in product development, and the ability to establish business collaborations. This study confirms that a bottom-up communication strategy designed, adapted to the local cultural context and women's social dynamics, can be a sustainable social intervention. The novelty of this finding lies in the hybrid communication model that functions not only as a conveyor of information but also as a structural empowerment tool in building a women-based community economy.

Abstract

The rally of around two million Muslims in Jakarta in November 2016 protesting against alleged religious defamation committed  by Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama made the  headlines in  Indonesian mainstream newspapers; Kompas and Republika. However, both newspapers came out with different perspectives in accordance with their ideological background. Therefore, these differences lead to the question of  whether they would trigger a clash of civilization as pointed by S. Huntington stating that the vast post-cold war conflicts would be represented by Western Civilization, China Civilization, and Islam Civilization. This study formulates the problems including: (1) How is the clash of civilization built through the symptoms constructed in Kompas and Republika newspapers? and; (2) How do the intertextual aspects build the clash of civilization semiotically through the texts of the news in Kompas and Republika related to the November 4, 2016 rally? The paradigm used is the critical paradigm with qualitative approach, while the data are analyzed by using Kristeva Semiotic Method. The results of the research include; the mass media has been  a field of  the symbolic war among civilizations, meaning that the clash of civilizations on media is manifested through the symbolic conflict upheaval operated semiotically by Kompas and Republika. The news of November 4, 2016 rally in both newspapers serves as a battlefield of meanings as well as the field of a clash of civilizations.
