Abstract

This research aims to determine the difficulties in reading at the beginning of class I at Muhammadiyah Kemiri Elementary School. The type of research used in the research is analytical research using qualitative methods. The research subjects were class I of Muhammadiyah Kemiri Elementary School for the 2022/2023 academic year with a total of 22 students. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The instrument of this research is a data card. The data obtained are student response tests and observations of learning implementation. Data analysis using reading fluency or lack of fluency. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. Validation of this instrument is carried out by ticking (√) in the (Fluent) column for appropriate syllables and marking (X) in the (Not Fluent) column for inappropriate syllables, then the appropriate syllables will be written in the column suggestion. The results of the validation of the performance assessment instrument to measure students' initial reading abilities are that the instrument is suitable for use with revisions.

Abstract

Era globalisasi saat ini banyak sekali dampak bagi dunia pendidikan di Indonesia, tidak hanya dampak positif ada pula dampak negatifnya. Salah satu dampak negatif dari globalisasi adalah budaya dari luar yang dapat dengan mudahnya masuk, sedangkan permasalahan negatif  yang sering muncul bagi peserta didik adalah terkikis nilai-nilai moral karena pengaruh budaya asing yang kurang sesuai dengan  kebudayaan Bangsa Indonesia, tujuan dari pengembangan ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan ensiklopedia digital terintregrasi nilai pendidikan karakter pada materi seni tari kreasi daerah yang menggunakan R&D dengan metode ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu analisis (analysis), desain atau perencanaan (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation ). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini didapati hasil sebagai berikut, dilihat dari tiga validator yaitu ahli materi mendapatkan nilai hasil presentase 95,00%  dengan kategori sangat baik, oleh ahli media 95,45% dengan kriteria kelayakan sangat baik, dan oleh ahli praktisi mendapatkan nilai akhir dengan presntase 97,60% dengan kategori sangat baik. Sehingga dapat dikatakan “sangat baik”. Kepraktisan media yang dapat dilihat dari uji coba terbatas dengan skor  89,00% yang menunjukan kategori sangat baik, uji coba luas dengan  skor 95% dengan kategori sangat baik sehingga dinyatakan “sangat baik”, sehingga masuk ke dalam kategori praktis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengembangkan serta mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis HOTS pada subtema Indahnya Keragaman Budaya Negeriku sebagai buku pendamping siswa kelas IV MI Al-Huda Kebonsari. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian penembangan R&D (Research and Development), dengan metode ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV MI Al-Huda yang berjumlah 14 siswa. Dari 14 siswa tersebut digunakan untuk uji coba terbatas (4 siswa) dan luas (10 siswa). Proses kelayakan modul ini diperoleh dari hasil analisis data kevalidan dan kepraktisan. Kevalidan diperoleh dari validasi ahli materi dan ahli media. Berdasarkan penilaian dari ahli media terhadap modul pembelajaran berbasis HOTS, diperoleh hasil rata-rata 3,37 atau > 2,50 sehingga dikategorikan dalam kriteria sangat baik dan penilaian ahli materi mendapatkan skor rata-rata 4,00 atau 3,50 sehingga dikategorikan dalam kriteria sangat baik. Dari kedua hasil ahli media dan ahli materi dapat diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 3,68 atau > 3,50 atau dikategorikan sangat baik. Kepraktisan diperoleh dari angket respon siswa terhadap keterbacaan menggunakan modul pembelajaran berbasis HOTS. Kepraktisan dalam uji coba terbatas menghasilkan 3,53 atau > 2,50 sehingga masuk dalam kategori praktis dan kepraktisan uji coba luas, menghasilkan 3,68 atau > 3,50 masuk kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa modul pembelajaran berbasis HOTS dinyatakan sangat layak dan sangat praktis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menentukan kelayakan media komik yang bermuatan kearifan lokal dan karakter di kelas IV subtema 3 Bangga Terhadap Daerah Tempat Tinggalku di sekolah dasar dengan menggunakan metode RnD (penelitian and pengembangan) dengan model ADDIE (analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, evaluasi). Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas IV SD Negeri Krandegan yang berjumlah 30 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, angket, observasi,  dan dokumentasi. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini yaitu lembar validasi ahli media dan materi serta angket respon didik. Analisis data menggunakan skala likert untuk menentukan kualitas produk media komik yang dikembangkan. Hasil kelayakan media komik dari ahli materi dan media dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Selanjutnya, kepraktisan diperoleh dari respon peserta didik pada tiga tahap uji coba yaitu dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ahli materi, ahli media dan respon peserta didik dapat disimpulkan media komik layak untuk pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to determine scientific literacy skills in the material of changing forms of energy in class IV elementary school. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The results of the research show that the fourth grade science literacy abilities of SD N Keseneng are at the advanced, proficient and basic competency levels. Students with scientific literacy skills at an advanced competency level are able to understand indicators in the aspects of content, process, context, and show a positive attitude. Students with scientific literacy skills at a proficient competency level are able to understand indicators in the content aspect and show a positive attitude. It's just that the responses from students on the process aspect or on the context aspect have not met the indicators. Students with scientific literacy skills at the basic competency level are not yet able to understand the indicators in the content and context aspects of the material on changing forms of energy.

Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes on integer material using problem solving methods for fourth graders at SD Negeri Kedunglo. This type of research is Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles, each cycle meeting three times. Data analysis was carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that in the pre-cycle stage the average value of learning outcomes was 68.5 with a learning completeness percentage of 35%. In the first cycle the average value of learning outcomes was 82.5 with a percentage of learning completeness of 80% in the good category. In cycle II the average value of learning outcomes is 92 with the percentage of learning completeness reaching 100% in the very good category. Students' learning mastery has increased after learning using problem solving methods. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the use of problem solving methods can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade mathematics at SD Negeri Kedunglo on integer material.

Abstract

Pronunciation is an important aspect of English learning, especially at the elementary school level. However, many students experience difficulties in pronouncing vocabulary due to monotonous teaching methods and minimal phonological stimulation. This study aims to test the effectiveness of using the Hokey Pokey song in improving elementary school students' pronunciation skills. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of one-group pretest-posttest. The study sample consisted of 24 fourth-grade students who were given treatment in the form of learning using the Hokey Pokey song for four meetings. The research instrument was a pronunciation test before and after the treatment. Data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results show an increase in the average pronunciation score from 63.75 in the pretest to 79.58 in the posttest, with a difference of 15.83 points. The t-test results show a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), which indicates that the use of the Hokey Pokey song has a significant effect on improving students’ pronunciation skills. Song-based learning not only provides repetitive and rhythmic phonological practice but also creates a pleasant learning atmosphere, reduces psychological barriers, and increases students’ active participation. Thus, children’s songs like Hokey Pokey can be used as an alternative, effective pronunciation learning medium, adapting to students' learning styles, and promoting more comprehensive English language skills. These findings are relevant for application in thematic learning contexts and multilingual literacy-based curricula at the elementary level.

Abstract

This study focuses on the use of snakes and ladders media with the help of number cards in learning mathematics for addition and subtraction. This study aims to improve activity and learning outcomes in the addition and subtraction material for Class II Girijoyo State Elementary School. The research method uses classroom action research (CAR). The subjects of this research were 10 students of Class II Girijoyo State Elementary School. The results of the pre-cycle research showed that the percentage was 66.5%, the first cycle increased to 76.5%, and the second cycle increased to 84%. This can be interpreted, that through the observation of the activeness of the second grade students, the success indicator has reached 90% and is categorized as active. In addition to the results of observations, the tests that have been carried out have also increased, from the percentage in the pretest 30% of students who completed the KKM, in the posttest 1 in the first cycle, the percentage increased to 50% of the students who completed the KKM. In posttest 2 in cycle II the percentage of students' completeness rose to 90%. Thus the achievement of the resulting competence with a percentage of 90% of students categorized as complete, exceeding the indicator of success with the achievement of class competence reaching more than 75%.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran yang diterapkan bersifat satu arah sehingga menyebabkan pembelajaran menjadi membosankan dan tidak menarik. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Menghasilkan produk berupa Pengembangan Modul Pembelajaran IPAS Berbasis Kontekstual Kelas IV Pada Materi Membangun Masyarakat yang Beradab SD Islam 1 Baledono. yang sesuai dengan prosedur pengembangan research and development. 2) Bagaimana kelayakan Pengembangan Modul Pembelajaran IPAS Berbasis Kontekstual Kelas IV Pada Materi Membangun Masyarakat yang Beradab SD Islam 1 Baledono. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Model penelitian menggunakan ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan pengembangan. Subjek penelitian yaitu murid kelas IV SD Islam 1 Baledono tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 dengan jumlah 28 murid. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan angket. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar observasi, wawancara, angket validasi ahli media, materi, guru dan respon murid. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kelayakan dan analisis kepraktisan. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan modul pembelajaran ini adalah: 1) Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk berupa Modul Pembelajaran IPAS Berbasis Kontekstual Kelas IV Pada Materi Membangun Masyarakat yang Beradab SD Islam 1 Baledono. 2) Hasil kelayakan produk memperoleh skor rata-rata 3,46 (x>3,25) yang memiliki kategori “sangat layak”, hasil kepraktisan memperoleh skor rata-rata 3,65 (x>3,25) yang memiliki kategori “sangat praktis”. Berdasarkan kajian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran IPAS layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in understanding of mathematical concepts using the Realistic Mathematics Education model in fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Binangun. The subjects in this study were fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Binangun, Need District, Purworejo Regency, totalling 21 students consisting of 14 boys and seven girls, in the 2020/2021 school year. This study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was conducted in two cycles, each cycle having two meetings. Data collection techniques using test instruments, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out with qualitative and quantitative methods. The results showed that the understanding of students' concepts had increased. This is shown in the first cycle the average value has increased by 18.7%, with an average value of 75.7. In the second cycle, the average value has increased again by 12.1%, with an average value of 87 students' conceptual understanding. 8. Thus, it can be conclude that the Realistic Mathematics Education learning model can improve knowledge of mathematical concepts in fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Binangun
