Abstract

Pepper production in East Kolaka Regency has increased by 96 thousand tons in 2017 to 280 thousand tons in 2022. This condition illustrates that the potential for pepper farming is very promising, including in Lambandia District, Atolanu Village, East Kolaka Regency, which is the research location, contributing 15.86 tons. in 2022 from total pepper production. Even though pepper production tends to increase, people's interest in cultivating pepper agribusiness (black pepper and white pepper) is still relatively low compared to other commercial crops, this is due to a marketing system that sometimes takes a long time and creates risks and inefficient marketing costs. .The research aims to determine marketing channels and analyze the margins and efficiency of white pepper and black pepper from Atolanu Village, Lambandia District, Kolaka Regency. Sampling was carried out in groups (clusters) for white pepper and black pepper respondents, and by census for marketing actors. The data was analyzed using descriptive methods to determine the marketing channels for white pepper and black pepper and quantitatively to calculate the marketing margin M= He – Hp, and analyzing the level and efficiency or percentage of price received by farmers for both white and black pepper using the EP formula approach. =1 –( MP/( He) )X 100 %. The research results show that there are two marketing channels for white pepper and black pepper farming in Atolanu Village, Lambandia District, Kolaka Regency, marketing channel I starts from Farmers, PPD, PPK, Exporters with a margin of IDR 2,000/Kg, and marketing channel II starts from Farmers, PPD, and PPK with a margin of IDR 3,000/Kg. The level of efficiency of both marketing channels is efficient with an efficiency value of > 50% respectively, marketing channel I is 97.2% and marketing channel II is with an EP value of 95.5%.

Abstract

This study was conducted in October - November 2023, aiming to determine the cost of selling dry harvested grain and the minimum selling price of dry harvested grain in Wowasolo Village, Wanggeduku District, Konawe Regency. Data collection using a structured interview method with each respondent. The data analysis method used to calculate the total production costs is calculated using the formula TC = FC + VC, while to calculate the cost of goods sold the author uses the formula: Cost of goods sold (Rp / kg) = total cost (Rp) divided by the amount of production produced (Kg). To calculate the minimum selling price of dry harvested grain the author uses the formula: 10% x HPP. The results of the study obtained the total cost of Rp. 6,431,989 / farmer and the cost of goods sold: Rp. 2.859 Kg / Kg. The minimum selling price of dry harvested grain obtained results of Rp. 3,145 / Kg. This farmer's HPP is much smaller than the HPP set by the government at IDR 4,200/kg (Decree of the Minister of Trade No. 24 of 2020

Abstract

The growth of coffee shops in Kendari City has increased significantly in recent years, driven by the high demand for places to relax and gather socially. This research aims to analyze the entrepreneurial motivation of Coffee Shops in Kendari City. Using a qualitative approach, data was obtained through interviews with Coffee Shop owners and managers as well as observations of their business operations. The results of the research show that economic motivation and social motivation in Coffee Shop entrepreneurship each obtained a total average score of 2.33 in the high category, while affiliate motivation obtained a total average score of 2.67 in the high category. Coffee shop entrepreneurship in the city of Kendari as a whole is in the high motivation category and has the opportunity to be developed Keywords: motivation, entrepreneurship, Coffee Shop, Kendari City

Abstract

This study aims to compare the effectiveness of interactive Jupyter Notebook media and PDF-based e-modules in improving vocational high school (SMK) students’ understanding of regression concepts. The research responds to the need for more interactive computational learning environments in teaching statistical modeling, particularly regression, which plays an important role in data analysis and applied mathematics. A quasi-experimental study using a pretest–posttest control group design (INTEC) was conducted with 68 eleventh-grade students. The experimental group (n = 34) learned regression using interactive Jupyter Notebook integrating Python simulations and real-time visualization, while the control group (n = 34) used structured PDF e-modules. Data were collected through a validated 30-item regression concept test (α = 0.88). Statistical analyses included paired and independent sample t-tests and Cohen’s d effect size. The experimental group achieved a significantly higher posttest mean (M = 84.62) than the control group (M = 72.15), with p < 0.001 and a large effect size (d = 1.69), indicating superior conceptual gains. The study was limited to one school and a four-week intervention. The findings support integrating interactive coding environments in vocational regression learning.
