Abstract

Perubahan dalam dunia pendidikan di era digital menuntut adanya penguatan supervisi akademik sebagai salah satu alat strategis dalam mendukung pengembangan profesional guru. Supervisi akademik kini tidak lagi dipahami hanya sebagai proses evaluasi administratif, melainkan sebagai pendekatan kolaboratif yang mengintegrasikan fungsi evaluasi, pendampingan, dan pemberdayaan guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara supervisi akademik, gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, dan kompetensi pedagogik terhadap kinerja mengajar guru di tingkat sekolah dasar. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional, dan data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner tertutup kepada 80 guru yang berada di wilayah Kecamatan Martapura. Instrumen penelitian telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas sebelum dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel bebas memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, dengan kontribusi terbesar berasal dari kompetensi pedagogik. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 68,9% menunjukkan bahwa model penelitian ini memiliki daya jelaskan yang kuat. Temuan ini menegaskan urgensi penerapan supervisi akademik yang bersifat reflektif dan berbasis coaching dalam rangka meningkatkan profesionalitas guru. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan sistem manajemen pendidikan yang berbasis bukti serta menyajikan rekomendasi strategis bagi reformasi supervisi akademik di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Amidst demands to improve the quality of national education and the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, madrasas face the challenge of adapting, for which the Total Quality Management (TQM) approach offers a relevant framework. This study focuses on examining the application of TQM in improving the quality of educational services in public madrasas in East Kalimantan by evaluating student perceptions as the primary benchmark. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected through a survey instrument distributed to students to assess various service indicators, ranging from facilities and the learning environment to the roles of educators and leaders. The analysis results indicate that most service aspects, such as the quality of facilities, social interactions, and teaching methods, were assessed as good and supportive by students. However, this study also identified significant challenges in two critical areas: teacher discipline, which was considered inconsistent, and the lack of involvement of the madrasah principal in actively following up on student feedback. It was concluded that although madrasas have demonstrated a commitment to quality, the implementation of TQM principles, particularly in continuous improvement and the involvement of all parties, has not been optimal. Therefore, strengthening the culture of quality, especially in teacher discipline and effective feedback mechanisms, is necessary. ABSTRAKDi tengah tuntutan peningkatan mutu pendidikan nasional dan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, madrasah dihadapkan pada tantangan untuk beradaptasi, di mana pendekatan Total Quality Management (TQM) menawarkan kerangka kerja yang relevan. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk mengkaji penerapan TQM dalam meningkatkan mutu layanan pendidikan di madrasah negeri Kalimantan Timur dengan mengevaluasi persepsi siswa sebagai tolok ukur utama. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen survei yang disebar kepada siswa untuk menilai berbagai indikator layanan, mulai dari fasilitas, lingkungan belajar, hingga peran tenaga pendidik dan pimpinan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar aspek layanan, seperti kualitas fasilitas, interaksi sosial, dan metode pengajaran, telah dinilai baik dan mendukung oleh siswa. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi adanya tantangan signifikan pada dua area kritis, yaitu kedisiplinan guru yang dianggap belum konsisten dan kurangnya keterlibatan kepala madrasah dalam menindaklanjuti masukan dari siswa secara aktif. Disimpulkan bahwa meskipun madrasah telah menunjukkan komitmen terhadap mutu, implementasi prinsip TQM khususnya dalam perbaikan berkelanjutan dan keterlibatan seluruh pihak belum berjalan optimal, sehingga diperlukan penguatan budaya mutu terutama pada disiplin guru dan mekanisme umpan balik yang efektif.

Abstract

This research is motivated by news that is increasingly free in expression in online media. Society is presented with taboo news such as sexual harassment. Foksu research is a critical discourse analysis on sexual harassment of women online media edisis January- February 2022. The importance of conducting this research is that researchers want to reveal the purpose of news writing by looking at how women are positioned in the news. the purpose of this study is to describe a critical discourse analysis on sexual harassment of women in the January-February 2022 edition of online media. This research is a qualitative descriptive research using a critical discourse analysis approach. The data in this study is in the form of langsu quotes in the form of words, phrases, clauses, sentences, or paragraphs that indicate the position of the subject, object and reader. The source of the data is a news discourse in several online media outlets containing about sexual harassment of women in the January- February 2022 edition. The data collection technique used in this study was to use the listen and record technique. Helpful data collection instruments that assist the research in conducting this research are news texts, papers, highlighters, laptobs, pens and data cards. The severity of the data used is the persistence of observations and the triamgulation of peers. The analysis technique uses Sara Milles data, namely the reduction stage, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study were 15 data selection data in the form of news texts from online media, which included 5 data detiknews.com, Liputan6 as much as 1 news, detiknews as many as 6 news, Kompas com as many as 1 news, Tribun, East Kalimantan as many as 2 news, cakapkalah.com as many as 1 news containing sexual harassment of women in the January-February 2022 edition of online media. The news dominates the position of men and women is marginalized. The reader's position to follow the flow of the newswriter.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan supervisi pendidikan yang efektif semakin mendesak seiring dengan meningkatnya kompleksitas pembelajaran abad ke-21 yang berbasis teknologi. Supervisi kini dipahami sebagai proses pengembangan profesional, bukan hanya sebagai fungsi administratif. Artikel ini mengkaji peran strategis supervisi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam konteks digitalisasi pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur melalui analisis sistematis terhadap jurnal dan laporan ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi transformatif-yang mengedepankan refleksi, kolaborasi, dan penggunaan teknologi-dapat memperkuat kompetensi pedagogik guru, mendorong inovasi pembelajaran, dan membangun iklim pembelajaran yang adaptif. Namun, keterbatasan fasilitas digital dan rendahnya kompetensi teknologi menjadi tantangan utama. Oleh karena itu, perlu dikembangkan model supervisi digital dan pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi pengawas dan kepala sekolah untuk mendukung optimalisasi kualitas pendidikan dasar di era digital.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of an integrative coaching-mentoring model in academic supervision to enhance teachers' pedagogical autonomy, specifically at SMP Al Azhar 48 Samarinda. The background reveals gaps in teacher professional development programs in Southeast Asia, with 70% of teachers struggling to access quality initiatives. In Indonesia, 65% of private junior high school teachers find existing supervision programs disempowering. Supervision paradigms have shifted from administrative to collaborative approaches, yet implementation remains fragmented and lacks synergistic integration of coaching and mentoring. The study addresses three research gaps: the absence of an integrated supervision model, the administrative focus of current research in Indonesian private junior high schools, and the neglect of unique Islamic school values. Employing an intrinsic qualitative case study approach , this research will explore best practices and obstacles in collaborative, personalized, and value-driven academic supervision. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving five teachers, two supervisors, and one school principal. Theoretically, this study contributes to forming a holistic supervision framework that combines instructional reflection (coaching) with sustained professional relationships (mentoring). Practically, the findings are expected to serve as an adaptive guide for similar private schools and inform policy considerations for relevant teacher supervision programs.

Abstract

Writing ability is one of the basic competencies in Indonesian language learning that students must master. This skill is important as part of the learning process and as a means of developing thought patterns, creativity, and the ability to convey ideas logically and systematically. Among the various forms of text taught at the junior high school level, news text requires students to understand the structure of presenting factual information, use objective language, and follow journalistic rules. This study aims to determine the effect of the PjBL and TTW learning models on news text writing skills. This research is quantitative with an experimental method. The population in this study were all 96 seventh-grade students of SMPN 9 Bontang in the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample selection in this study used a purposive sampling technique and selected 64 students from class VII-B and class VII-C. Data analysis techniques used were the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test (normality), the Bartlett test (homogeneity) and for hypothesis testing using the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis techniques, it is known that the percentage of students' success with the implementation of PjBL in achieving the criteria for learning objectives is 54% and students with the implementation of TTW is only 46%. There is an influence of the PjBL and TTW learning models on the ability to write news texts.

Abstract

Konsep pendidikan inklusif bertujuan untuk memberikan kesempatan pendidikan yang setara bagi anak-anak disabilitas tanpa diskriminasi. Di Kota Samarinda dan Kabupaten Kutai Timur, pendanaan pendidikan yang komprehensif sangatlah penting. Makalah ini menjelaskan tantangan dan solusi pendanaan pendidikan inklusif dari prasekolah hingga sekolah menengah atas. Studi kasus naratif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Studi ini berlangsung di PAUD Negeri 1 Pembina (TK), Sekolah Dasar Negeri 006 Sangkulirang, Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1, dan Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 2 Muara Wahau. Empat kepala sekolah, empat guru, dan dua orang tua siswa komite sekolah berpartisipasi dalam studi ini. Kami mengumpulkan data menggunakan wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi langsung, dan analisis dokumen. Data tentang pendanaan pendidikan inklusif diinterpretasikan menggunakan analisis tematik. Studi ini berfokus pada implementasi dan pendanaan pendidikan inklusif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan inklusif, terutama di sekolah inklusif, menekankan keterampilan sosial bagi anak-anak disabilitas. Pendanaan pendidikan inklusif di sekolah inklusif dan non-inklusif secara nasional membutuhkan konfirmasi dan dukungan. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa hal ini dapat meningkatkan pendanaan pendidikan inklusif, terutama dalam menyediakan sumber daya manusia dan pembelajaran yang unggul untuk pendidikan vokasi di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

This research discusses strategic communication in building a positive image of the school implemented by the Ar Rajwaa Integrated Islamic Elementary School through the role of the public relations department.The method in this study uses a descriptive qualitative method, with observation techniques, information collection in the form of data, literature studies and interviews. The results of this study describe the strategic communication process carried out by the Ar Rajwaa Integrated Islamic Elementary School in interacting with students, educators and education staff and parents/guardians and the community so that they can build a positive image of the school. The strategic communication that was prepared was carried out in the form of Islamic communication, transparency and accountability, educational and positive content, and welcoming with hospitality at school. In addition to strategic communication, SD IT Ar Rajwaa carries out imagery through story telling, branding and alumni testimonials and has succeeded in gaining the trust of students' parents and the community. One of the proofs that public trust has been formed and the positive image of is that there are a number of prospective students who have been queuing to become students for the next 3 (three) years.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the challenges of online-based leadership implementation in post-pandemic educational innovation applications at Public Aliyah Madrasah (MAN). This study uses a qualitative approach with purposive and snowball sampling techniques. The findings show that: The challenge in improving the quality and competitiveness of online-based schools after the pandemic is the need to develop superior human resources to prepare the community and nation to face the knowledge age as a competitive era. The challenge in Human Resources (HR) and online-based finance after the pandemic is to build a new structure that improves teacher coordination and collaboration that utilizes the expertise of all educators, ultimately leading to better working conditions and workplaces; As for the challenges in improving the quality of online-based leadership post-pandemic, namely leadership that is disruptive to the current progress and creative in terms of policies which include the stages of preparation, enlightenment, elaboration, and verification.
