Abstract

This article examines the educatif impilcation of the older term in Qur’anic verses that express through the interpretation of the commentators in their various popular works that are authoritative using a thematic interpretation approach (al-tafsîr al-maudhû’î) using qualitative methods of literature study with analysis descriptive-interpretative nature. The older term with various forms and derivations that were successfully identificated which later became the object and focus of this research were the term arba’în sanah, ardzal al-‘umur, al-shayb (al-syīb and al-shyaibah), al-shaykh (and al-syuyûkh), al-’ajûz, al-kibar (and al-kabîr), nu’ammir (yu’ammar and mu’ammar), and thâla or tathâwala al-’umur. After elaborating on the interpretation and accentation of its meaning and analyzing the results of the discussion, it turns out that these terms have many implications, especially those relating to aspects of Islamic education.

Abstract

Program Learning Islamic Value Everyday (aL.I.V.E) merupakan bagian dari Sistem Pendidikan Islam Singapura (Singapore Islamic Education System) yang dimulai sejak tahun 2004. Program ini berpusat di masjid-masjid Singapura dengan maksud untuk memastikan seluruh anak anak Islam, semua etnis baik dari golongan mampu ataupun tidak mampu, mengikuti kelas pendidikan agama Islam. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mencoba meneliti program aL.I.V.E di Madrasah Masjid Al-Taqua Singapura serta untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat pembelajaran program tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif lapangan, dimana penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan gabungan antara penelitian obyek yang dilakukan secara langsung di lokasi penelitian, dipadukan dengan penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program aL.I.V.E disusun sesuai dengan kurikulum dasar pendidikan Islam Singapura. Hal ini bertujuan untuk membantu para remaja Islam Singapura menghadapi berbagai tantangan kehidupan di tengah suasana masyarakat majemuk Singapura. Materi-materi yang diajarkan termasuk materi fadhu ‘ain, yaitu tauhid, fiqh, akhlak, kemahiran hidup, sirah dan sejarah peradaban Islam, serta kemahiran penguasaan al-Quran. Adapun faktor pendukung pada program aL.I.V.E di Madrasah Masjid Al-Taqua diantaranya adalah suasana tempat belajar yang kondusif dan keberadaan para guru yang memberikan teladan yang baik bagi para pelajar, khususnya pada program terkait. Sedangkan faktor penghambat secara umum ada pada kompetensi sebagian guru yang kurang fasih dalam penggunaan bahasa Inggris sehingga menyulitkan mengaplikasi apa yang dimaksud dalam kurikulumnya, adanya sebagian pelajar yang kehilangan minat belajar, serta evaluasi yang kurang memadai.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat penting dalam pengemabangan ilmu dan teknologi. Jika pendidik di dalam suatu pendidikan itu dilakukan oleh orang tua, maka pondok pesantren dibimbing langsung oleh guru asrama atau lebih dikenal sebagai pengasuh asrama yang dimana memiliki tugas pokok dan fungsi untuk membimbing, mengasuh, mengontrol, membina, dan mengevaluasi santri dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kepustakaan (library research). Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang kriteria-kriteria yang harus dimiliki pengasuh asrama yang berkaitan dengan kompetensi kepribadian diantaranya adalah bersikap santun, memiliki wibawa, penyayang dan lain sebagainya.

Abstract

Education in Sumatra has been going on since the entry of Islam into Minangkabau. Through surau, education became part of the value system of Minangkabau society that succeeded in producing great scholars and santri. Surau is a typical tafaqquh fī al-dīn space in the Minangkabau realm. Along with the changes that occurred in the order of society, the role of surau as an Islamic educational institution began to fade, replaced by educational concepts from the Minangkabau renewal figures themselves. Abdullah Ahmad and M. Sjafei emerged as educational reformers in Sumatra. The concept of education developed and slowly replaced the role of surau as a place to educate the children of Nagari Minangkabau. This article tries to describe the transformation of Islamic education that occurred in Minangkabau, which is important because it became the forerunner of the transition period of colonialism and independence that affected education in the archipelago, by photographing the ideas and concepts of education of Abdullah Ahmad and M. Sjafei. The research method used is a qualitative method with a literature review approach and takes a character study analysis. The main data sources are taken from books, articles, papers, and writings that discuss the characterization of Abdullah Ahmad and M. Sjafei. This article concludes that the concept of education brought by Abdullah Ahmad became a turning point in the overall educational modernization movement in Minangkabau, especially in religious education. This movement also became the root of the change in the education model of Surau which was very monumental in the past towards the madrasa model with an academic curriculum design that was much different from the design in Surau. The education offered by M. Sjafei became a turning point in the movement of the skills education model in Minangkabau. His concept focuses on productive education that hones the talent-based skills of the nation's children. Although he does not specialize in academic education, the development of his students is still oriented towards a good religious lifestyle and religious personality, in accordance with the religious culture of the Minangkabau people. Abstrak Pendidikan di Sumatera sudah berlangsung sejak masuknya Islam ke bumi Minangkabau. Melalui surau, pendidikan menjadi bagian dari tata nilai kehidupan masyarakat Minangkabau yang berhasil melahirkan para ulama dan para santri hebat. Surau menjadi ruang tafaqquh fī al-dīn yang khas di ranah Minangkabau. Seiring dengan perubahan-perubahan yang terjadi pada tatanan masyarakatnya, peran surau sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam mulai memudar, tergantikan dengan konsep-konsep pendidikan dari tokoh-tokoh pembaruan Minangkabau itu sendiri. Adalah Abdullah Ahmad dan M. Sjafei yang muncul sebagai tokoh pembaruan pendidikan di tanah Sumatera. Konsep pendidikannya berkembang dan perlahan menggantikan peran surau sebagai tempat mendidik anak-anak Nagari Minangkabau. Artikel ini mencoba menggambarkan transformasi pendidikan Islam yang terjadi di Minangkabau, di mana hal tersebut menjadi penting karena menjadi cikal bakal masa peralihan masa penjajahan dan kemerdekaan yang mempengaruhi pendidikan di Nusantara, dengan memotret gagasan dan konsep pendidikan Abdullah Ahmad dan M. Sjafei. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian pustaka dan mengambil analisis studi tokoh. Sumber data utama diambil dari buku, artikel, makalah, dan tulisan-tulisan yang membahas tentang ketokohan Abdullah Ahmad dan M. Sjafei. Artikel ini mendapatkan kesimpulan bahwa Konsep pendidikan yang dibawa Abdullah Ahmad menjadi titik balik dalam gerakan modernisasi pendidikan secara keseluruhan di Minangkabau, khususnya pada pendidikan agama. Gerakan ini pun menjadi akar dari perubahan pendidikan model surau yang sangat monumental dahulunya menuju model madrasah dengan desain kurikulum bercorak akademik jauh berbeda dengan desain di Surau. Adapun pendidikan yang ditawarkan M. Sjafei menjadi titik balik dalam gerakan model pendidikan ketrampilan di Minangkabau. Konsepnya berfokus pada pendidikan produktif yang mengasah skill berbasis talenta anak bangsa. Meskipun ia tidak mengkhususkan diri pada pendidikan akademis, namun pembinaan para pelajarnya tetap berorientasi pada gaya hidup beragama yang baik dan berkepribadian agamis, sesuai dengan kultur budaya masyarakat Minangkabau yang agamis.

Abstract

Keberadaan buku teks secara langsung dapat menunjang pencapaian kurikulum. Buku suplemen yang akan dikaji dalam penelitian ini yaitu buku suplemen toleransi pada pelajaran PAI untuk SMP. Karena belakangan banyak orang yang menggugat bahwa pendidikan agama Islam justru mengajarkan intoleransi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Model dari penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model 4D oleh Thiagarajan yang terdiri dari empat tahapan, yakni define, design, develop, dan disseminate. penelitian ini telah menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa buku suplemen materi toleransi untuk siswa SMP kelas IX dengan hasil dan pokok yang dapat dijelaskan (1) Konsep toleransi pada buku suplemen toleransi pada pelajaran PAI untuk SMP meliputi tafakur, pantun Islami, thalabul ilmi, ikhtisar, uswatun hasanah, mari bermuhasabah, mari berlatih, dan kreativitas generasi muslim. (2) Isi materi berkaitan dengan toleransi pada buku suplemen toleransi pada pelajaran PAI untuk SMP yang dikembangkan mendapatkan kategori layak digunakan sebagai buku penunjang pembelajaran. (3) Pengembangan buku suplemen toleransi pada pelajaran PAI untuk SMP dilakukan melalui revisi-revisi, sehingga produk yang dihasilkan siap digunakan untuk khalayak umum.

Abstract

An educational institution is an institution or place where educational processes take place with the aim of changing individual behavior in a better direction through interaction with the surrounding environment. An Islamic educational institution is a place or organization that organizes the implementation of Islamic education. Therefore, these institutions must be able to create an atmosphere that allows for the implementation of education properly according to the tasks assigned to them, such as schools (madrasas) that carry out the process of Islamic education. There are three types of Islamic educational institutions: Formal Institutions, Non-Formal Institutions, and Informal Institutions. A formal institution is a structured and tiered educational pathway consisting of basic, secondary, and higher education. Meanwhile, the non-formal institution is an educational pathway outside of formal education that is carried out in a structured and tiered manner. This non-formal education institution is provided for a student who does not have time to attend or complete a certain level of formal education. While informal educational institutions are education that focuses more on the family and community. Abstrak         Lembaga pendidikan adalah lembaga atau tempat berlangsungnya proses pendidikan yang dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengubah tingkah laku individu ke arah yang lebih baik melalui interaksi dengan lingkungan sekitar. Lembaga pendidikan Islam adalah tempat atau organisasi yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan Islam, yang mempunyai struktur yang jelas dan bertanggung jawab atas terlaksananya pendidikan Islam. Oleh karena itu, lembaga pendidikan Islam tersebut harus dapat menciptakan suasana yang memungkinkan terlaksananya pendidikan dengan baik, menurut tugas yang diberikan kepadanya, seperti sekolah (madrasah)yang melaksanakan proses pendidikan Islam ada tiga macam lembaga pendidikan Islam, yaitu Lembaga Pendidikan Islam Formal, Lembaga Pendidikan Islam Non Formal, dan Lembaga Pendidikan Islam Informal. Lembaga pendidikan formal adalah jalur pendidikan yang terstruktur dan berjenjang yang terdiri atas pendidikan dasar, pendidikan menengah, dan pendidikan tinggi. Sedangkan Lembaga pendidikan non formal adalah jalur pendidikan di luar pendidikan formal yang dilaksanakan secara terstruktur dan berjenjang. Lembaga pendidikan nonformal ini disediakan bagi warga yang tidak sempat mengikuti atau menyelesaikan pendidikan pada jenjang tertentu dalam pendidikan formal. Sedangkan lembaga pendidikan informal adalah pendidikan yang ruang lingkupnya lebih terarah pada keluarga dan masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the concept of moral education contained in the book tanbihul ghofilin and in the Sukabumi Elderly Social Rehabilitation Service Unit and create a concept of moral education for the elderly. Researchers used descriptive and analytical methods in their research, and to collect data from the field researchers used observation, interviews and document methods. The results showed that the concept of moral education for the elderly aims to instill aqidah Islamiyah which is shohih and free from shirk, to foster the morals of the elderly so that they have good morals, justifying the elderly's worship procedures so that they are in accordance with the guidance of the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. and so that the elderly get husnul khotimah. To achieve this goal, the lessons that will be delivered by murobbi are about Aqidah Islamiyyah, Fiqh Ibadah, Akhlak, and Tajweed or tahsin al-Quran. The methods that can be used for learning are: advice method, story method, parable method, targhib and tarhib method, exemplary method, conversation method, repetition method, habituation method, talqin method and practical method. As for evaluation, namely by means of self-muhasabah, mulahadzoh, mutaba'ah and ishlah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze student planning at the Al-Qur'an Ibnu Jauzi Dramaga Foundation, including aspects of recruitment, selection, orientation, and placement of students. The research method used is qualitative research with a library and field research approach. Data collection techniques include observation, structured interviews, and documentation, which are analyzed through data triangulation to test the validity of the information. The results of the study indicate that student planning is carried out systematically, starting with an analysis of the capacity and needs for facilities and infrastructure. The recruitment process is carried out through the formation of a committee and direct promotion, selection is carried out through interviews and document verification, and orientation is carried out in the form of "Taaruf Kepondokaan" activities to introduce the environment and values ​​of the institution. Placement of students is based on gender and class level similarities, with a focus on Islamic learning materials. This study provides a concrete picture of student planning management in Islamic boarding school-based educational institutions.  Keywords: Student Planning, Recruitment, Selection, Orientation, Placement

Abstract

This study analyzes the model and methods of Islamic education planning at MI Al-Ittihad, Ciampea District, Bogor. The study focuses on the integration of Islamic values with modern needs, such as project-based learning and the use of digital technology. Using a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews and documentation involving key stakeholders in the planning process. The findings indicate that MI Al-Ittihad employs a comprehensive planning model that integrates the Merdeka Curriculum, modern teaching methods, and flagship programs including Quranic recitation and memorization, exact sciences (Mathematics, Abacus, and Natural Sciences), religious program, and martial arts. This balanced approach supports the spiritual and intellectual development of students and produces academically and spiritually outstanding students. This study provides practical guidance for Islamic educational institutions aiming to align religious values with contemporary educational demands and contributes theoretically by presenting a contextual model that combines normative Islamic values with modern pedagogy.

Abstract

Various cases of violence committed by unscrupulous teachers have spread in educational, national and social life, indicating that teachers as the main spearhead of education do not yet have a significant role in the process of building a national personality with a social and humanitarian spirit. Education undergoes a process of “dehumanization”. It is said that because education experiences a process of decline with the erosion of the human values it contains. The aim of this research is this research to analyze the concept of teacher personality competence from Nasih Ulwan's perspective in her book entitled Tarbiyah Al-Awlâd fî al-Islâm. This study uses a type of analytical descriptive qualitative research. The results of this research produce a basic concept for teachers at Madrsah Tsanawiyyah in improving personality competencies that support three other competencies, namely: first, professional competencies. Second, pedagogical competence. Third, social competence. It can be concluded that if the teacher's personality competency is carried out on an Islamic basis and in accordance with policy, then it is certain that all teachers will have reliable competence. Recommendations for the next researchers are to be able to perfect this research by examining the theoretical basis of other experts regarding personality competencies for Madrsah Tsanawiyyah teachers.
