Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan implementasi pendekatan Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) melalui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada materi Teks Biografi Kelas X. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah proses pembelajaran, informasi guru Bahasa Indonesia SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta, dokumen terkait dengan Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) melalui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, serta catatan lapangan proses pembelajaran yang menggunakan pendekatan Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) melalui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendekatan Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) melalui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sesuai dengan tahap-tahap pendekatan Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) yakni mengklasifikasikan kebutuhan belajar peserta didik, menyusun rancangan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan pelaksanaannya, serta melakukan refleksi dan evaluasi terhadap pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of mentoring for Thammasat University Thailand students in improving Indonesian language skills through Surakarta batik training. Mentoring is considered an effective method in helping students acquire better language skills. This study involved a group of Thammasat University students who were studying Indonesian at the beginner level. They were given the opportunity to take part in Surakarta's typical batik training which involves practicing speaking, writing, and listening in Indonesian. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The collected data was analyzed using the content analysis method. The results of the study show that mentoring through typical Surakarta batik training is effective in improving the Indonesian language skills of Thammasat University students. Students reported significant improvements in their ability to speak, write, and understand Indonesian after participating in the training. This research makes an important contribution to our understanding of the importance of mentoring in improving foreign language skills, especially for international students. Surakarta's typical batik training has proven to have significant potential in facilitating Indonesian language learning, because it involves interactive and interesting cultural aspects.

Abstract

Infidelity cases are one of the everlasting problems for human life. It is becoming thought provoking news for reader when it occurs around celebrities’ life. This study aims to investigate the infidelity case published on CNN Indonesia media in 2023, particularly of the victim's personal position and readers' responses to news texts. The data collection technique used were by reading and recording data. Data collected was analyzed using Sara Mills' perspective analysis model of critical discourse analysis to investigate subject-object position and writer-reader position. The reader's position was examined in three stages: (1) the reader's position as a reader of a news text, (2) the reader's position as seeing himself/herself in a news text, and (3) the reader identifies within the group on the news text. Based on the subject-object position in the news, it was discovered that these news texts of the affair cases positioned the female victim as both subject and object, while another news text positioned the husband as the subject and the wife as the object. Accordingly, based on the subject-object position depicted on the news, the reader engagement of interesting news material increases news media ratings. The results of this study revealed that celebrity news regarding affair and infidelity cases are not only reported by journalists but disclosed privately through an Instagram account. This research shows that infidelity news in the mass media is caused and influenced by readers and perpetrators of actions themselves

Abstract

Indonesian is experiencing very rapid development, not only in Indonesia but also abroad. This is proven by many foreign speakers who are interested in learning Indonesian for Foreign Speakers. One of the countries in the ASEAN region that holds BIPA learning is Thailand. The general aim of PKMI is to develop teaching materials based on local Central Javanese cultural wisdom for BIPA teachers at Thammasat University Thailand in the BIPA learning program. The main problem with BIPA teaching in Thailand is that the lack of textbooks, teaching materials and other supporting resources can be an obstacle in providing effective teaching and also providing quality teachers, especially those who have a background in teaching Indonesian as a Foreign Language. In essence, for learning to run well, interesting and innovative learning media is needed. This requires finding a good solution so that appropriate assistance is needed. The specific objectives are to describe the current condition of BIPA teaching materials, explore the need for developing BIPA teaching materials based on the local wisdom of Central Javanese culture and implement teaching materials containing local cultural wisdom of Central Java that can be used at Thammasat University, Thailand which are made by BIPA teachers with guidance from the PKMI UNS team. The location of this PKMI is at Thammasat University. The PKMI implementation method is planned in 3 major stages, each of which has a different form of activity. The preparation stage relates to things that need to be prepared in order to implement this PKMI. The implementation stage is the core of this PKMI which will be carried out at Thammasat University, Thailand. The evaluation stage is the final stage of this PKMI which will be carried out by the PKMI Team regarding an assessment of what BIPA teachers at Thammasat University, Thailand have done before and after training and guidance as well as developing BIPA teaching materials based on Central Javanese culture.

Abstract

The aims of the study is to examine and describe: (1) the morphological interference, (2) the factors causing Javanese morphological interference into Indonesian in the Gagasan rubric of Solopos newspaper, and (3) the use of research results as teaching materials for analyzing language rules of Opinion Articles in SMA. The type of the research is qualitative research with a content analysis approach. The sources of data are using documents and informants. The sampling technique are purposive sampling, while the data collection technique used the reading and note taking technique. The data validity test technique used triangulation of data sources and triangulation of methods. The data analysis technique research is using interactive analysis. The results of the study indicate that the Gagasan rubric of Solopos Newspaper has (1) the morphological interference in the use of the prefix {N}, suffix / -an /, reduplication or rephrasing, affix removal, and exchange the suffix /-e/ BJ into the suffix /-nya/ BI (2) the causal factors Interference includes written language habits of journalistic variety, the author’s habits, the author's understanding of language interference and linguistic rules is lacking, the author's vocabulary is small, and researchers and editors are less careful, (3) the results of the study can be used and utilized in learning linguistic analysis of opinion articles. by students and teachers in high school. Keyword: Morphological Interference, Causative Factors, Teaching Materials

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pentingnya pembentukan kelompok berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam pembelajaran mendongeng untuk mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia guna membentuk karakter siswa. Mendongeng dijadikan metode untuk menanamkan kebiasaan baik secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk menggambarkan hasil pembelajaran melalui analisis data dari berbagai jurnal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan kelompok berbasis AI memastikan distribusi gaya belajar yang seimbang, seperti visual, auditori, dan kinestetik, sehingga menciptakan kolaborasi yang efektif. Kelompok yang dibentuk dengan AI mendukung keterlibatan siswa secara aktif dalam memahami nilai-nilai moral dari dongeng, serta membangun karakter seperti empati, kedisiplinan, dan kerja sama. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa AI merupakan solusi efektif dalam pembentukan kelompok belajar yang merata, meskipun tantangan akses teknologi dan keterbatasan perangkat masih perlu diatasi. This article discusses the importance of forming artificial intelligence (AI)-based groups in learning storytelling for Indonesian language subjects in order to shape student character. Storytelling is used as a method to instill good habits on an ongoing basis. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to describe learning outcomes through data analysis from various journals. The research results show that AI-based group formation ensures a balanced distribution of learning styles, such as visual, auditory, and kinesthetic, thereby creating effective collaboration. Groups formed with AI support active student involvement in understanding the moral values of fairy tales, as well as building characters such as empathy, discipline and cooperation. The conclusion of this research confirms that AI is an effective solution in forming equitable learning groups, although the challenges of technology access and device limitations still need to be overcome.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan pendekatan yang penting untuk menjawab kebutuhan setiap peserta didik yang berbeda dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan pengaruh asesmen diagnostik pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia teks puisi kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 12 Surakarta. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan infroman peserta didik dan guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi memberikan dampak positif pada perubahan perilaku peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi telah terbukti efektif dalam membantu peserta didik untuk memahami seluk-beluk dan estetika puisi, sehingga meningkatkan hasil belajar mereka secara keseluruhan. Dengan menggunakan asesmen diagnostik, guru dapat mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan kemampuan unik peserta didik, memungkinkan perancangan rencana pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tingkat pemahaman dan minat mereka. Penelitian ini menekankan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi harus dilaksanakan dengan memperhatikan langkah-langkah seperti persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran.Differentiated learning is an important approach to address the different needs of each student in learning. This study aims to determine the implementation of differentiated learning and the influence of diagnostic assessment on the Indonesia language subject of poetry texts for class VIII at SMP Negeri 12 Surakarta. The type of research used is qualitative research with information from studens and Indonesia language teachers. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of differentiated learning has a positive impact on changes in student behavior in learning. Differentiated learning has been proven effective in helping students understand the intricacies and aesthetics of poetry, thereby improving their overall learning outcomes. By using diagnostic assessments, teachers can identify the unique needs and abilities of students, allowing the design of learning plans that are appropriate to their level of understanding and interests. This study emphasizes that the implementation of differentiated learning must be carried out by paying attention to steps such as preparation, implementation, and evaluation of learning.

Abstract

The Enactment of Law No. 24 of 2009 concerning the Flag, Language, and State Emblem and National Anthem which is emphasized by Government Regulation No. 57 of 2014, Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 42 of 2018, and Decree No. 0424/I/BS.00.01/2022 must of course be obeyed by all Indonesian citizens. Public obedience to the law is still low, especially related to language. For example, many place names in public areas still use foreign languages. It is clear that the use of language violates the law, especially with regard to language. Enforcement of the law must be spearheaded by the government itself. If the community can obey the law, socialization to the general public will be smoother. Governance in government and private agencies is one of those regulated in the Law, especially Article 33 paragraph 1 which reads "Indonesian must be used in official communication in the government and private work environment". It is clear here that the standard variety of Indonesian must be used by private agencies in public information, especially lodging in tourist attractions such as in Kemuning Karanganyar. As a popular private institution, the enforcement of the implementation of the law mentioned above is the main pillar and an example for the wider community. Therefore, naming in private institutions must be managed properly. As a result of several observations, many villa naming in the Kemuning Karanganyar tourist area focuses more on non-linguistic factors, such as the form of naming, type of service, official stamps, envelopes used and archive storage. Linguistic problems, such as spelling errors, word selection errors, sentence meaning errors, sentence composition errors, are rarely noticed. There are many naming versions sent by the inn, especially in villas in Kemuning tourism. There are many variations and there is no standard related to this planter because the manager does not have a standard guideline. There are so many mistakes made by Villa managers in making naming. The target group of the HGR PKM program is Villas in a tourist area in Kemuning, Karanganyar, Central Java Province.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh dari metode pembelajaran blended learning pada pembelajaran fisika. Metode untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian ini adalah dengan metode studi literatur. Penelitian dilakukan dengan merangkum dan mereview beberapa artikel penelitian tentang metode pembelajaran blended learning pada pembelajaran fisika yang diterbitkan dalam 2 tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran blended learning banyak memberi manfaat terutama pada pembelajaran fisika. Metode pembelajaran blended learning pada pembelajaran fisika memiliki kelebihan yaitu peserta didik mengalami perubahan dalam peningkatan hasil belajar, peningkatan jiwa sosial, peningkatan pemahaman pada konsep fisika, peningkatan kreatifitas dalam berpikir kreatif, dan keterampilan dalam pembelajaran, dengan metode blended learning ini juga membuat suasana dalam pembelajaran terasa tidak monoton. Disamping kelebihan yang ada, kekurangan dalam penerapan metode ini yaitu sulit diterapkannya blended learning pada pembelajaran fisika jika sarana dan prasarana tidak mendukung

Abstract

Fisika merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang dianggap sebagai pelajaran yang menantang dan tidak jarang menjadi mata pelajaran yang kurang diminati oleh peserta didik karena melibatkan konsep-konsep abstrak yang sulit dipahami. Penggunaan media animasi dalam pembelajaran dapat menjadi salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini. Artikel ini membahas efektivitas media animasi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep fisika, berdasarkan penelitian survei terhadap berbagai jenjang pendidikan menengah hingga tinggi yang telah menggunakan media ini dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media animasi merupakan salah satu cara efektiv dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan minat peserta didik terhadap konsep-konsep fisika yang kompleks. Artikel ini juga mengidentifikasi kelemahan dalam penerapan media animasi, termasuk kebutuhan akan pengembangan interaktivitas dan aksesibilitas.
