The lack of student’s poetry skills needs to be improved by utilizing song lyrics to inspire students in writing poetry. The purpose of this research was to determine whether there is an effect of song lyric on student’s poetry skills. This research used a pretest-posttest control grup design with sampling used purposive sampling with 37 students in the experimental group dan 34 students in the control group. The independent variable in this research song lyric, while the dependent variable is poetry writing skill. The prerequisite test conducted used content validity teat, tes-retes reliability test, liliefors normality test, and barelett homogeneity test. Hypothesis testing in this research used one-way ancova test. The result hypothesis testing found a significance value < the significance level, namely 0,006<0,05. So the results showed that there was an effect of using the song lyric on poetry writing skills of high school students. The Cohan’s effect size test was carried out by obtaining a result of 0,69 which shows that the effect of this research is in the medium category.

Sarcasm is a form of verbal bullying that often occurs unconsciously by the speaker. This study aims to examine the phenomenon of sarcasm-based verbal bullying in the school environment, focusing on degrading speech acts directed at junior high school (SMP) students in Surakarta, Indonesia. Through interviews with students who have been victims of sarcasm, this research analyzes the forms and impacts of sarcastic remarks they have experienced. The findings reveal that sarcasm is frequently used as a form of mockery or insult aimed at highlighting the victim’s shortcomings, whether in academic, physical, or social aspects. Each sarcastic utterance is analyzed using the theories of locution, illocution, and perlocution, showing that while the utterance may appear as a compliment on a literal level, it contextually demeans the victim. The perlocutionary effect includes feelings of shame, inferiority, and loss of self-confidence in the victim. These findings indicate that sarcasm as verbal bullying has the potential to damage students’ mental health and disrupt their social relationships. This study emphasizes the need for a school environment that supports positive communication, free from speech acts that have the potential to demean others.

Desa Ngunggahan, Wonogiri memiliki banyak pelaku usaha mikro yang beperan dalam kemajuan perekonomian desa. Namun, masyarakat belum memanfaatkan potensi tersebut sebagai alternative peningkatan Nilai ekonomi daerah. Pelatihan strategi pemasaran produk ini diberikan kepadawarga dalam upaya membantu memasarkan produk dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi media sosial. Tujuan kegiatan ini ialah agar pelaku usaha dapat memahami cara untuk mengembangkan produknya dan dapat memperoleh pasar yang lebih luas. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat membangkitkan minat pelaku usaha untuk meningkatkan inovasi produk dan mengimplementasikan pemasaran berdasarkan strategi cepat dan tepat sasaran. Strategi pemasaran yang tepat akan berdampak pada peningkatan daya jangkau pemasaran yang diharapkan dapat kreativitas pelaku usaha sekaligus meningkatkan perekonomian Desa Ngunggahan. Pelatihan pemasaran sebagai bentuk pengabdian pada masyarakat ini diikuti oleh perwakilan dari 30 pelaku usaha diharapkan menjadi kunci keberhasilan produk untuk lebih dikenal oleh konsumen dan meningkatkan potensi penjualan produk unggulan.

Mobile Banking atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah M-Banking kini penggunaannya mengalami peningkatan, adanya peristiwa ini secara tidak langsung telah mengubah perilaku keuangan nasabah secara signifikan. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa M-banking tidak hanya meningkatkan kenyamanan dalam bertransaksi, tetapi juga mempengaruhi pola belanja, dan pengelolaan keuangan pribadi. Dengan akses yang lebih mudah dan fitur yang lengkap, nasabah menjadi lebih cermat dalam mengelola anggaran dan melakukan transaksi. Selain itu, literasi keuangan berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan nasabah terhadap layanan ini. Temuan ini mencerminkan potensi M-banking dalam memperkuat pengelolaan keuangan di kalangan masyarakat modern.

Infidelity cases are one of the everlasting problems for human life. It is becoming thought provoking news for reader when it occurs around celebrities’ life. This study aims to investigate the infidelity case published on CNN Indonesia media in 2023, particularly of the victim's personal position and readers' responses to news texts. The data collection technique used were by reading and recording data. Data collected was analyzed using Sara Mills' perspective analysis model of critical discourse analysis to investigate subject-object position and writer-reader position. The reader's position was examined in three stages: (1) the reader's position as a reader of a news text, (2) the reader's position as seeing himself/herself in a news text, and (3) the reader identifies within the group on the news text. Based on the subject-object position in the news, it was discovered that these news texts of the affair cases positioned the female victim as both subject and object, while another news text positioned the husband as the subject and the wife as the object. Accordingly, based on the subject-object position depicted on the news, the reader engagement of interesting news material increases news media ratings. The results of this study revealed that celebrity news regarding affair and infidelity cases are not only reported by journalists but disclosed privately through an Instagram account. This research shows that infidelity news in the mass media is caused and influenced by readers and perpetrators of actions themselves

The implementation of education does not only focus on academic aspects, but also emphasizes the character of students. Issues concerning the character of students need to be given serious attention. The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the use of the Burung Surga (Bird of Heaven) comic as a medium for literacy and strengthening character education in junior high schools. The research is a qualitative descriptive study with content analysis method. The object used is a comic entitled Burung Surga. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively. The results showed that there is a content of character education values in Burung Surga comic, including religious, creative, communicative, curiosity, love to read, respect for achievements, social care, responsibility, environmental care, national spirit, and love for the homeland. Through the content of character education values and information in the comic, Burung Surga comic, can be used as a literacy medium in the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program and strengthening character education in junior high schools.

Learning poetry at the high school level in Indonesia is generally expected to provide a deeper understanding of literature and enrich students' language skills, but in reality, there is a lack of understanding of the building blocks and values of poetry, as well as limited teaching materials that are effective in facilitating understanding and appreciation of works. poetry. This analysis will be carried out with the aim of finding the use of diction in the poetry anthology Mengapa Luka Tidak Memaafkan Pisau by M. Aan Mansyur and analyzing its use as poetry teaching material in high school. This research uses a qualitative approach. The type of research used in this research is content analysis. By using content analysis, researchers can dig deeper into the use of diction in the poetry anthology Mengapa Luka Tidak Memaafkan Pisau by M. Aan Mansyur and its use as poetry teaching material in high school. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aspek kejiwaan tokoh-tokoh, nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel dan relevansinya sebagai bahan pembelajaran di SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode content analysis (analisis isi). Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini pendekatan psikologi sastra melalui teori psikologi Abraham Maslow. Sumber data penelitian adalah: (1) teks novel Mimpi Anak Pulau karya Abidah El Khalieqy; (2) panduan wawancara; (3) silabus pembelajararan Bahasa Indonesia di SMA kelas XII; (4) buku literatur yang relevan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan analisis dokumen dan wawancara. Teknik validasi data dengan triangulasi data dan sumber. Teknik analisis data dengan model analisis interaktif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa : (1) terdapat tiga aspek kejiwaan yang mempengaruhi tokoh-tokoh dalam novel Mimpi Anak Pulau karya Abidah El Khalieqy yaitu: konflik; belajar; dan motif. Ketiga aspek kejiwaan tersebut mempengaruhi tingkat kebutuhan tokoh-tokoh dalam novel seperti: kebutuhan fisiologis; kebutuhan rasa aman, kebutuhan dicintai dan disayangi; kebutuhan harga diri hingga kebutuhan aktualisasi diri; (2) terdapat sepuluh nilai pendidikan karakter yang menonjol dalam novel Mimpi Anak Pulau karya Abidah El Khalieqy yaitu; religius; kerja keras; kreatif; tanggung jawab; rasa ingin tahu; peduli sosial; cinta tanah air; semangat kebangsaan dan nasionalisme; jujur dan mandiri; (3) materi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan hasil analisis psikologi sastra dan nilai pendidikan karakter novel Mimpi Anak Pulau karya Abidah El Khalieqy adalah mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas XII SMA.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan (1) tindak tutur langsung pada dialog novel Dompet Ayah Sepatu Ibu karya J.S. Khairen dan (2) tindak tutur tidak langsung pada dialog novel Dompet Ayah Sepatu Ibu karya J.S. Khairen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian analisisis isi. Sumber data berupa dokumen yaitu novel Dompet Ayah Sepatu Ibu karya J.S. Khairen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu analisis dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis mengalir. Hasil penelitian ini sebagai berikut. Pertama, bentuk tindak tutur langsung terdiri dari 98 data dengan persentase 69% yang terbagi menjadi tiga modus kalimat, yaitu kalimat berita, kalimat tanya, dan kalimat perintah. Kedua, bentuk tindak tutur langsung terdiri dari 45 data dengan persentase 31% yang terbagi menjadi dua modus kalimat, yaitu kalimat berita dan kalimat tanya.
