Judul berita merefleksikan keseluruhan isi wacana kritis yang disampaikan secara ekspositoris. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif pada judul berita politik di media cetak yang ada di Indonesia dalam perspektif pragmatik. Identifikasi yang dilakukan dengan snowball sampling seluruh judul atau headline berita politik sampai menemui titik jenuh. Setelah mencapai titik jenuh, dilakukan triangulasi data untuk menguji validitasnya. Validitas yang digunakan dengan triangulasi metode, triangulasi sumber, dan triangulasi peneliti. Teknik analisis data dengan teknik interaktif yang terdiri atas empat tahap pengolahan data, yakni pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penarikan simpulan, dan display data. Sebagai penguatan, bersama dengan ADOBSI (Asosiasi Dosen Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia) dilakukan diskusi terpumpun untuk uji kelayakan dan keterbacaan. Berdasarkan hasil dan analisis data ditemukan: (1) banyak judul-judul berita politik pilkada yang elanggar prinsip kesnatunan, (2) ditemukan aneka tuturan yang melanggar prinsip kearifan sehingga berakibat pada pemahaman yang berbeda dari lawan tutur, dan (3) ditemukan aneka tuturan langsung mengakibatkan ketidaksepahaman pembaca dalm judul politik pilkada.

Penelitian ini membahas tentang kondisi wacana lisan Bahasa Jawa di Provinsi Yogyakarta. Fokus utama penelitian, yakni melakukan observasi bahasa Jawa yang digunakan di Sleman, Bantul, Kulon Progo, Gunung Kidul, dan Kotamadya Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiopragmatik dan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan wawancara. Pendekatan sosiopragmatik digunakan untuk mengkaji penggunaan Bahasa Jawa dalam berbagai konteks sosial. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui ragam wacana lisan yang digunakan serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam menjaga kearifan bahasa lokal di Provinsi Yogyakarta, sebagai dampak dari globalisasi dan modernisasi. Dari kelima daerah di Provinsi Yogyakarta terdapat beberapa perbedaan ragam bahasa lisan, namun tidak menonjol. Meskipun perbedaan tidak menonjol, wacana bahasa lisan di Provinsi Yogyakarta mengalami percampuran bahasa. Percampuran bahasa Jawa ini memiliki arti adanya campuran antara bahasa Jawa, Bahasa Indonesia, dan Bahasa Inggris. Hal tersebut tentu menjadi tantangan dalam mempertahankan kearifan bahasa lokal di Provinsi Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan baru, sekaligus memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan untuk menjaga kearifan bahasa Jawa di tengah perubahan sosial yang terus berkembang.

Peralihan dari TK (Taman Kanak-kanak) menuju tingkat sekolah dasar memerlukan penyesuaian perkembangan motorik. Perkembangan tersebut tidak jauh dari keterampilan menulis. Sayangnya, keterlambatan menulis permulaan di kalangan siswa SD kelas 1 bisa menjadi permasalahan yang kerapkali ditemui. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendes-kripsikan dan memecahkan permasalahan terkait keterlambatan perkembangan motorik (menulis permulaan) anak sekolah dasar khususnya pada salah satu siswa kelas 1 SD Muhammadiyah Program Khusus (PK) Tumang. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan yakni partisipatif, diawali dengan studi deskriptif terhadap fenomena, pengumpulan data dan analisis, penyajian hasil, diseminasi, dan pendampingan. Hasil pengabdian ini merekomendasikan pemberian dukungan kepada siswa dengan keterlambatan perkembangan motorik untuk mengoptimalkan keunggulan dan minat yang dimiliki guna dikolaborasikan dalam rangka mengatasi keterlambatan menulis permulaan yang dialami.

Era digital memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap pemartabatan bahasa nasional. Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia memiliki peranan penting dalam melestarikan dan meningkatkan rasa bangga terhadap bahasa Indonesia. Tolok ukur keberhasilan pembelajaran berbahasa juga perlu  sesuai dengan tantangan era digital. Artikel ini akan mendisuksikan kesantunan berbahasa sebagai faktor determinan dalam rangka mewujudkan keberhasilan pembelajaran berbahasa. Dari berbagai literatur diketahui bahwa kesantunan berbahasa merupakan faktor determinan keberhasilan pembelajaran berbahasa. Capaian kompetensi pembelajaran berbahasa, ditentukan oleh teori kesantunan berbahasa yang digunakan. Kemudian, cara berkomunikasi yang baik dan karakakter kesantunan berbahasa menciptakan masyarakat harmonis.Kata kunci: kesantunan berbahasa, pemartabatan bahasa, dan pembelajaran berbahasaThe digital age has a major influence on the dignification of national languages. Learning Indonesian has an important role in preserving and increasing pride in Indonesian. Benchmarks for the success of language learning also need to be in line with the challenges of the digital age. This article will indicate the politeness of language as a determinant factor in order to realize the success of language learning. From various literatures it is known that politeness in language is a determinant factor in the success of language learning. The achievement of language learning competence, is determined by the politeness theory of the language used. This study aims to describe directive and expressive speech acts that appear in the reservoir_njeblug Instagram account. The benefit of this research is to increase the diversity of language knowledge typical of the Tegal dialect "ngapak" which contains directive and expressive speech. The research method used is descriptive qualitative in the form of text posted on social media Instagram reservoir_njeblug account. The results of the study in the form of directive and expressive speech acts amounted to 54 data collected for two months, namely January and February 2022, there were 26 directive functions and 28 expressive functions with the percentage of directives prohibiting 5.56%, warning 20.37%, suggesting 14.81%, inviting 5.56% and ordering 1.85%. Expressive function surrender 25.93%, pity 1.85%, disappointed 16.67%, satire 3.70%, concern 1.85% and criticize 1.85%. Posts with an expressive function of surrender can be seen from the data that the intensity is most often posted because the account seeks to invite readers to together see the real reality of life and to always be grateful and surrender to what has been outlined in their life.

This research is motivated by the demands of every student to have high-level thinking skills or known as HOTS. This ability can be known if the instrument used is classified as a question that requires high-level thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to analyze the fulfillment and percentage of indicators of high-level thinking skills in the minimum competency assessment of reading literacy at SMK Negeri Pekanbaru city. This research is qualitative research using a content analysis method. Data were collected using documentation techniques in the form of reading literacy questions obtained from teachers of Vocational High Schools throughout Pekanbaru City. The results showed that the AKM instrument was reading literacy with 79% HOTS category and 21% non-HOTS questions. In general, the question instructions have led to HOTS questions. The instrument contains dimensions that measure critical thinking, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills. Another thing that needs to be considered is how the instruments used can be developed using standardized instrument development steps so that the expected results can be recognized as true

This study discusses the use of various speech acts in humorous discourse used by Cak Lontong on YouTube media from a pragmatic perspective. Humor can be used to convey multiple intentions that are described in a more relaxed and entertaining manner. Speakers and partners must understand the uniqueness of humorous speech so that the meaning of the speech can be adequately understood. This study used the qualitative descriptive method. The data source used is a document in the form of Cak Lontong's humorous speech in the Cak Lontong YouTube video. The data used in this study is the humorous speech of Cak Lontong, which entertains the opponent or audience. The focus of this research is to: (1) explain the function of speech acts; (2) explain the maxim of cooperation and violations of the maxim of cooperation; and (3) describe the use of direct and indirect speech acts. Based on the analysis and discussion results, it can be concluded that Cak Lontong uses assertive, rescriptive, expressive, and declarative speech acts to create humor. In addition, the speech delivered also contains direct and indirect speech and violates the principle of cooperation to create humor for the interlocutor or audience. The power of communication is in the speech process. The construction of meaning that the speaker can translate well will make the speech more interesting. The pragmatic approach is an alternative concept for speakers and co-speakers in constructive communicative activities. This study used a pragmatic approach to describe and explain the various speech acts used by Cak Lontong with humor. Various discussions by researchers about the maxim of politeness, the function of speech acts, direct speech acts, and indirect speech acts were an effort to describe the various speech acts of Cak Lontong in various contexts of speech. Different discussions are expected to provide theoretical implications regarding the pragmatic approach in Cak Lontong's humorous discourse.

The realization of humor texts can be used to examine anecdotal texts in order to make new findings from the perspective of linguistics and humor. Sufi humor is the basis of the anecdote text chosen because it contains references to religious messages, history, and the condition of past society. This study aims to identify humor techniques and their functions in the anecdotal texts From the Jokes of the Prophet and Sufis to Our Jokes by Mustofa Bisri. The research approach applied is content analysis with Berger's Logic Humor Technique. The data sources are 5 anecdotal texts that contain logical humor from 70 texts in From the Jokes of the Prophet and Sufi to Our Jokes by Mustofa Bisri. Purposing sampling was used for sampling technique. The data collection used document analysis, while the data validity test used theoretical triangulation. The data analysis used a flowing model. The results showed four logical humor techniques in the anecdotal texts From the Jokes of Prophets and Sufis to Our Jokes by Mustofa Bisri, namely ignorance, repetition, absurdity, and mistake. In addition, the humor logic used focuses on the mindset and ridiculous actions performed by the characters in the anecdote text. Logic in humor is different from the logic generated from ordinary human thinking so that jokes can be produced. The results of this study can be used as Sufi literacy media in the world of education. Logical humor techniques are reinforced by psychological findings that point to the absurd thinking and actions performed by the characters. he study about anecdotal texts from Dari Canda Nabi & Sufi sampai Kelucuan Kita can be the learning recourse reference for the students and the society in general. Hopefully, the application of the humor technique in the anecdotal text study can be the study reference for similar humir study so that the anecdotal text study is not limited on its learning method, but the students can comprehend the essence, structure, and humor technique stated in the anecdotal texts.

Illocutionary speech acts are speech acts that are most often encountered in life to help the communication process between speakers and speech partners. Communication that is established usually needs to pay attention to the principles of language politeness. Both studies are not only found in life but can also be contained in novel literary works. This study aims to identify the form and function of illocutionary speech acts and language politeness in the interaction between teachers and students in Andrea Hirata's novel. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data sources in this research are the novels Sang Pemimpi and Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. The sampling technique is done by purposive sampling technique. This research concludes that there are five forms of illocutionary speech acts in Andrea Hirata's novel, namely assertive illocutionary speech acts, directive illocutionary speech acts, declarative illocutionary speech acts, expressive illocutionary speech acts, and commissive illocutionary speech acts. There are also six maxims based on Geoffrey Leech's theory, namely the maxim of wisdom, the maxim of generosity, the maxim of respect, the maxim of simplicity, the maxim of agreement, and the maxim of sympathy in Andrea Hirata's novel. This research provides a treasure of knowledge about illocutionary speech acts and language politeness in the study of pragmatics.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk wacana persuasif dalam takarir unggahan akun Instagram resmi Nadiem Makarim @nadiemmakarim. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah takarir unggahan akun Instagram resmi Nadiem Makarim @nadiemmakarim dalam durasi waktu satu bulan mulai 16 September s.d. 16 Oktober tahun 2022. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simak dan catat. Teknik dan analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis deskriptif interaktif. Teknik ini memiliki 4 komponen, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 5 wacana persuasif yang dilihat dari sudut panjang tujuannya. Memberikan informasi (to inform) sebanyak 6 data, menimbulkan inspirasi (to inspire) sebanyak 6 data, meyakinkan (to convise) sebanyak 5 data, menghibur atau menyenangkan (to entertain) sebanyak 3 data, dan menggerakkan atau mengarahkan (to ectuate) sebanyak 8 data.
