Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in academic resilience between male and female students at UHAMKA that analyzed through the rash model. This study uses a comparative descriptive approach, the sample in this study amounted to 333 students consisting of 255 women and 78 men who were obtained by means of sampling convenience. The instrument used was ARS-30 (The 30 item Academic Resilience Scale), the data analysis technique was an independent t-test with the help of the SPSS application and combined with the Rasch model stacking that was tested. The results of this study indicate the value of sig. 2 Talled of 0.94> 0.05, it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between the resilience levels of male and female students. Furthermore, partial resilience of men and women are both in the medium category.

Abstract

Stress is a complex problem that occurs in individuals in their lives.  This study aims to find differences in student academic stress based on gender. This study uses a comparative descriptive research method by using Non Probability Sampling, with the convenience sampling technique. The data analysis technique was used the T-Test combined with the RASCH stacking model. The results showed that there was no significant difference in academic stress between men and women.

Abstract

The background of this research is the emergence of diverse and confusing behavior between students of UHAMKA phenomenon who stay in first and last term on the major counseling. This study aims to describe differences between them in wellness condition. This research was conducted on the students of the Guidance and Counseling majors, Faculty of Teacher and Education Science in the fisrt and last semester. The population of this study supports 147 people in a group and 197 people in B group. The sample was 177 people in a group and 69 people in B group. Sampling technique used is random sampling that. This research uses quantitative methods of comparative approach. The Data in this research is the normal distribution but not homogeneous so that the applied technique of nonparametric analysis of data with the test method of hypothesis U-test (Mann Whitney). Based on the calculation result of the U-test (Mann Whitney) Obtained Z>observed Ztable(22.574>1.96) the which means H0 rejected. The results of this study concluded that there are differences in the level of wellness between a groups of samples, with the wellness of students who stay in last half is much larger than the Guidance Counseling Major student Who stay in the first half.

Abstract

The tsunami disaster that struck the Anyer region, Banten at the end of 2018 had a physical and psychological impact on the community, especially on vulnerable communities, namely children, women and the elderly. The purpose of this service is to provide support and assistance to children who are victims in reducing stress and trauma caused by disasters so that they can smile again as before. In carrying out my activities in collaboration with Inter Club Indonesia (ICI) volunteers and Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center (MDMC). Activities carried out include socio drama, fairy tales, coloring and counseling services. As a result of dedication found in the enthusiasm and changes in the children who experience traumatic post-disaster, the children participate in activities with enthusiasm and active. Because of the magnitude of the benefits and impacts of this activity it is necessary to proceed with more thorough procedures and preparation in the future. So that the psychological wounds of children and adolescents can be alleviated and the smiles of children can return them on their faces.

Abstract

Setiap siswa pada hakekatnya memiliki kemungkinan untuk menghadapi berbagai kesulitan, kendala dan tekanan psikologis dalam menjlaani kehidupan akademik serta tugas-tugas perkembangannya. Problematika berkaitan dengan akademik siswa merupakan bagian tanggung jawab dari layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling di Sekolah. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut tidak hanya bisa diserahkan pada satu bidang kegiatan, akan tetapi merupakan kerjasama yang baik antar komponen pendidikan untuk mencapai tujuan bersama pendidikan. Artikel ini memaparkan bentuk strategi kolaborasi yang dapat dilaksanakan dalam pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling oleh konselor sekolah. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan. hasil akhir dari artikel ini memaparkan tentang konsep kerjasama yang baikdalam strategi kolaborasi yang tidak hanya dilakukan dalam internal sekolah saja akan tetapi juga melibatkan berbagai pihak yang memiliki perannya masing-masing. Kerjasama tersebut dilakukan dalam bentuk kegiatan kolaboratif.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the differences stress between early and final year students in academics, This study used a quantitative approach with a comparative descriptive method, and the study population was students of Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculcity of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Prof.Dr.Hamka. The sampling technique used was proportional stratified random sampling. The sample obtained was 192 students, consisting of 98 early year students and 94 final year students. The academic stress instrument adopted from Sagita et., all (2017) consist of 34 items using a likert scale. The data findings were analysed using the independent sample t-test calculation. The result show that: (1) the academic stress of early year students is in the low category, (2) the academic stress between early year students and final years students.

Abstract

This study is aims to describe of religious level by students who follow the organization. The study uses a quantitative descriptive study method. The withdrawal of samples in this research uses sampling, by cluster sampling techniques. The findings suggest that the religiosity of the student who attends the organization falls at a high rating of 28%, and a high category of 66%. This suggests that most research subjects have high religious levels. Therefore, effort is required for students who join the organization to maintain religiosity

Abstract

This study aims to identify the level of academic resilience of junior high school students (First Secondary School) during the period of Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas (Limited Face-to-Face Learning) during the Covid-19 pandemic. The type of research using quantitative descriptive design with the population used is Muhammadiyah Junior High School 2 Jakarta (n=379). The sampling technique uses Convention sampling. This study used a questionnaire adapted from the Indonesian version of The Academic Resilience Scale-30 (ARS-30) with a lycert scale. The data obtained will be analyzed using categorization tests through the IBM SPSS Statistics 26 and Microsoft Excel applications. The results of the study showed that 311 students (82.1%) had a high academic resilience rate and 68 students (17.9%) had a moderate resilience rate determined through measuring academic resilience dimensions (1) Perseverance or persistence, (2) Reflecting and Adaptive Help Seeking, (c) Negatif Affect and Emotional Response. Therefore it can be inferred that the academic resilience rate of junior high school students in the Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas period has a relatively high category.

Abstract

Academic resilience is the ability of students to manage negative experiences that suppress the student's learning process by maximizing their potential to become resilient students and have good academic performance with all obstacles and social problems. The purpose of this study was to obtain the results of the academic resilience of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo students during the Limited Face-to-Face Learning Period (PTM-T). This article measures the resilience level of students with the dimensions of resilience. The research instrument was adapted from the Indonesian Version of the Adaptation Factor Analysis of Academic Resilience Instruments: Exploratory and Confirmatory Approaches using quantitative methods. The sample used was 304 students of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. The analysis technique used is descriptive. The results showed that the average level of resilience of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo students was 103.31 which could be interpreted in the high category. A total of 15 students with a percentage of 4.9% in the medium category and as many as 289 students with a percentage of 95.1% in the high category. This shows that with Limited Face-to-face Learning, students are still able to rise from academic difficulties that can hinder their learning process first during the current Limited Face-to-face Learning (PTM-T) period.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is a complex problem in the life of Indonesian society today, including aspects of individual personality. The purpose of this study was to empirically examine the level of adolescent loneliness during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used quantitative method research with a descriptive approach. The sample were 300 adolescents that selected by convenience sampling technique. The results showed that the level of loneliness of adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic was in a quite high category with a proportion of 43%, 10% in high category, and 1,7% in very high category. It means the adolescent need to be more attention so that teenagers can lead a normal life in their daily lives.
