Abstract

This has not been known as a comparison of macrobentos diversity between rural and urban areas. Based on this, it is necessary to analyze the comparison of Macrobentos in the urban area with rural areas. The river which is in the analogues of urban areas is the river Way Belau (Bandar Lampung) and the river Well Putri (Bandar Lampung), while the river which is in the area of the river in the countryside is the Pasir Sakti (East Lampung) and the River Raman Pujodadi (Trimurjo). The purpose of this study is to compare the diversity of Macrobentos in urban areas with rural areap. The type of research in this article is descriptive. The conclusion of this study is that there is a difference in the diversity of macrobentos between rivers that exist in rural areas with rivers that exist in urban areas. The rivers in the village area nudge have more macro-bentos diversity compared to existing rivers in urban areas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh variabel destination website quality, sensory online destination brand experience, cognitive online destination brand experience, attitude toward the website dan intention to visit yang diaplikasikan pada website wisata Kota Tua Jakarta dan Kepulauan Seribu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan data primer berupa kuisioner yang dikumpulkan selama bulan Agustus sampai dengan Oktober 2023. Kuisioner disebarkan kepada pengunjung website wisata Kota Tua Jakarta dan Kepulauan Seribu. Sebanyak 221 data kuisioner dapat dikumpulkan dan kemudian diolah lebih lanjut menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling dengan memanfaatkan software SmartPLS. Hasil olah data menunjukan bahwa tidak seluruh hipotesis dapat diterima. Beberapa saran diberikan untuk pengembangan studi lebih lanjut serta pengembangan strategi pengelolaan website demi mencapai peningkatan kunjungan wisata ke Kota Tua Jakarta dan Kepulauan Seribu.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran yang membosankan menyebabkan anak tidak tertarik dalam belajar. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan rasa cinta anak-anak terhadap pembelajaran dan membuat aktivitas belajar matematika menjadi mudah dan menyenangkan melalui penggunaan media fun thinkers. Media fun thinkers adalah seperangkat buku yang dikemas untuk menciptakan kegiatan belajar menjadi lebih menyenangkan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di kampung Sidey Makmur distrik Sidey. Pada pelaksanaan kegiatan ini anak-anak dikelompokkan menjadi beberapa kelompok. Setiap anak dalam kelompok latihan menggunakan media fun thinkers dan bekerja sama dalam menyelesaikan soal. Untuk melihat keberhasilan kegiatan ini makan dilakukan wawancara secara deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis anak-anak aktif berpartisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran. Penggunaan media fun thinkers membuat aktivitas anak dalam belajar menjadi menyenangkan dan pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

LATAR BELAKANG: Coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) menjadi wabah dunia yang menimbulkan beban psikologis bagi masyarakat dan tenaga kesehatan yang memberikan perawatan pada pasien dengan COVID -19. Perawat merupakan salah satu tenaga kesehatan yang menjadi garda terdepan pemberian asuhan keperawatan pada pasien. TUJUAN: Mendeskripsikan kondisi psikologis perawat yang memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien dengan COVID-19. METODE: Penelitian ini merupakan narrative review. Sebelas artikel dipilih dari Google Scholar, PubMed, EBSCO, dan ProQuest yang telah di-peer-reviewed dan dipublikasikan, full-text, serta dalam bahasa Inggris mulai dari tanggal 1 Januari 2020 sampai 31 Mei 2020. Istilah pencarian yang digunakan dalam pencarian artikel yakni COVID-19, nursing care, nurse, dan psychological effect. HASIL: Sebelas artikel yang telah ditinjau menyebutkan bahwa kondisi psikologis perawat yang memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien COVID-19 meliputi kecemasan, rasa takut, depresi, kelelahan, sulit tidur atau insomnia, gangguan mental lain, somatisasi, mudah marah, obsesif-konvulsif, penurunan nafsu makan, merasa tidak nyaman, tidak berdaya, menangis, dan bahkan terlintas untuk bunuh diri. SIMPULAN: Memberikan perawatan kepada pasien dengan COVID-19 dapat menimbulkan gangguan psikologi pada perawat. Kata Kunci: Asuhan keperawatan, COVID-19, Efek psikologi, Perawat Psychological Condition of Nurses who Provided Nursing Care in Patient with COVID-19: A Narrative review ABSTRACT BACKGROUND : Coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) became epidemic and caused psychological disorder for the community and health workers who provided care for patients with COVID-19. Nurses are one of the frontline workers who provide nursing care to the patients. OBJECTIVE: To describe psychological condition of nurses who provided nursing care for patients with COVID-19. METHOD : This article was a narrative review. Eleven articles were selected from Google Scholar, PubMed, EBSCO, and ProQuest which have been peer-reviewed and published, full text in English, started from 1st January 2020 to 31th May 2020. The search terms were COVID-19, nursing care, nurse, and psychological effects. RESULT : The eleven reviewed articles showed that psychological condition of nurses who provided nursing care in patients with VOVID-19 included anxiety, fear, depression, fatigue, insomnia, other mental disorders, somatization, irritable, obsessive-convulsive, loss of appetite, uncomfortable feeling, helplessness, crying, and even suicidal thought. CONCLUSION : Providing care in patients with COVID-19 may cause psychological disturbances for nurses. Keywords: Nursing care, COVID-19, psychological effect, nurse

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian di daerah Payangan Desa Sumberejo Kabupaten Jember dengan menggunakan metode geolistrik resistivitas 1-Dimensi konfigurasi Schlumberger untuk mengetahui litologi bawah permukaan terkait adanya pendugaan intrusi air laut di daerah tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini, setiap lintasan pengukuran mempunyai panjang 300 m. Data yang dihasilkan berbentuk nilai resistansi dan digunakan untuk mencari nilai resistivitas semu. Data tersebut kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan Software IPI2win dan Rockwork untuk mendapatkan pencitraan atau gambaran litologi batuan bawah permukaan. Dari hasil inversi menggunakan Software IPI2win dan Rockwork terlihat adanya intrusi air laut pada daerah tersebut. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil pengolahan data keempat lintasan., pada lintasan 1, lintasan 2 dan lintasan 3 didominasi oleh batuan pasir dan kerikil, sehingga pada lintasan ini mudah ditembus oleh air laut. Sedangkan pada lintasan 4 berkemungkinan untuk tidak tertembus oleh air laut, hal ini dikarenakan pada lintasan ini terdapat lapisan lempung yang dapat dijadikan sumur oleh penduduk setempat.

Abstract

Criticism plays a crucial role in improving individual and team performance and addressing shortcomings in workplace processes. However, the way criticism is delivered significantly impacts how it is received. This study examines politeness strategies in delivering criticism in Japanese workplaces, drawing on Nguyen's (2005) politeness theory. Using the Discourse Completion Test (DCT) method, the study involved 25 students from the Japanese Literature Program at Universitas Ngudi Waluyo who work in Japan. The findings reveal that direct criticism is rarely used in Japanese workplaces as it risks disrupting wa (harmony) and causing embarrassment, particularly in formal or peer relationships. Direct criticism is employed only in urgent situations or within hierarchical relationships, characterized by explicit, firm language aimed at immediate correction. Conversely, indirect criticism is more prevalent, utilizing linguistic strategies such as suggestions, invitations, or questions to maintain politeness and relational stability. From a sociopragmatic perspective, cultural norms, status hierarchies, and social contexts influence the choice of criticism strategies. From a pragmalinguistic perspective, subtle and implicit linguistic elements are effective in preserving harmony and avoiding confrontation. The study concludes that the success of delivering criticism relies on balancing communicative effectiveness with maintaining harmonious workplace relationships.

Abstract

BACKGROUND : The growing number of elderly individuals can result in a decline in physical and mental functioning, which in turn affects the quality of life of the elderly. The family serves as the primary support system for the elderly in maintaining their health. Effective family support can enhance the quality of life of the elderly, enabling them to enjoy a fulfilling life in their later years. OBJECTIVE: to determine the relationship between family support and quality of life in elderly people with dementia. METHOD : This is a quantitative-correlative study design with a cross-sectional design. The analysis test used is chi-square. A total of 73 respondents were sampled for the purposes of data collection. This was achieved by administering two questionnaires: one pertaining to family support and the other to quality of life (Short Form 12). RESULT : The results of this study indicate that the majority of elderly individuals aged 60–74 (69.9%), females (53.4%), reside in the same household as their children (53.4%), work as farm laborers (69.9%), have basic education (72.6%), and have moderate levels of dementia. (50.7%). Having family support shows the moderate category (91.8%), while the quality of life is mostly good (58.9%), with a significance p-value of 0.033. CONCLUSION : There is a significant relationship between family support and quality of life in elderly people with dementia.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the analysis of digital-based creativity and innovation of MSMEs  in Bekasi City. This study is a descriptive-qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used interview, observation and documentation methods. Determination of informants based on MSME owners in Bekasi City. The results of the study indicate that digital-based creativity is the main factor that allows MSMEs in Bekasi City to produce innovative solutions in facing competitive business challenges. In addition, digital-based innovation provides better competitiveness in the market through the implementation of creative ideas in business practices. Digital-based marketing strategy using the 7P marketing mix: product, price, place, promotion, people, process, physical evidence on MSMEs in Bekasi city in the form of online stores in the marketplace to reach buyers in various regions and abroad. The obstacles for MSME actors in Bekasi city is that there is no team that focuses on implementing digital marketing. Efforts made by MSME actors in Bekasi city that they are actively participating in digital marketing training organized by government agencies or other parties.

Abstract

Introduction: Cardiac surgery is a medical procedure that aims to improve the heart's structure and blood vessels. The procedure is performed within 4 to 6 hours. This can cause anxiety in patients and family members. Excessive anxiety can lead to increased blood pressure, tachycardia, depression, and even sleep disturbances before and after cardiac surgery. Poor sleep quality affects quality of life, health status, and activities of daily living. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between anxiety levels and sleep quality in patients with pre-cardiac surgery. Methods: This research was a descriptive correlation with a cross-sectional approach. The convenience sampling technique was used to select 65 respondents for the sample. The Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) questionnaire was used to gather information on anxiety levels. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire assessed the respondents' sleep quality before heart surgery. The obtained data was subjected to analysis using the Spearman-Rho test.Results: There were 36 respondents (55.38%) who had moderate sleep quality and experienced mild anxiety 28 respondents (43.08%). The Spearman rho correlation test of r value was 0.106 in the results. There is no relationship between anxiety level and sleep quality in cardiac pre-surgery patients.Conclusion: The majority of patients with pre-cardiac surgery at Dr. Kariadi Hospital Semarang experience anxiety and sleep disorders. Nurses can consider to manage the anxiety and sleep disorders experienced by patients.

Abstract

This research seeks to examine the impact of job placement, work experience, and career development on employee performance at the Office of Public Works Bina Marga and Spatial Planning of South Sumatra Province. “The research used descriptive quantitative methodologies and sampling procedures, using simple random sampling based on the Slovin formula, with a sample size of 130 respondents drawn among 192 ASN workers. Multiple linear regression was used for data analysis. The findings indicated that job placement, work experience, and career advancement each had a favourable and substantial influence on employee performance. Of these characteristics, career advancement has the most significant impact. The three factors concurrently have a substantial impact on employee performance. The correlation coefficient signifies a robust association, but the coefficient of determination reveals that the majority of the variability in employee performance is accounted for by these three components, with a little proportion affected by external variables not included in this research.
