Abstract

There has been a growing interest to understand inflation through demographic lens using a critical key indicator known as the dependency ratio. However, studies investigating this nexus in terms of ASEAN nations are limited, despite ASEAN undergoing a demographic transition. Therefore, this paper aims to investigate the impact of age-population ratio on the inflation rate across 8 ASEAN countries during 2000-2020. This research uses Feasible Generalized Least Squares (FGLS) estimation, as it is robust to groupwise heteroskedasticity, serial and cross-sectional correlations. The result reveals that population aging is deflationary. However, the elderly dependence successfully explains the price dynamic after controlled by monetary and macro variables. It means that aging matters for inflation along with the macro variables dynamic. In addition, the analysis also sheds light on the impacts of the young dependency, which does not significantly impact the inflation rate when macro variables are taken into account. This research also underlines the importance of considering demographic dynamics in the future monetary policy decisions.

Abstract

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) is a chronic disease that often shows no symptoms at the begin of the disease, so many people are not aware that they have PTM. This incident means that the lack of efficacy in carrying out early screening for PTM can be identified by carrying out early detection by checking blood pressure, blood cholesterol levels, blood sugar and measuring Body Mass Index. The aim of this activity is to detect early risk factors for non-communicable diseases after an examination. This activity includes checking blood pressure, cholesterol levels and blood glucose levels. This activity was carried out on Sunday 7 August 2023. The location of this Community Service was carried out in Dukuh Nyamplung RT 03/ RW 06, Donoharjo Village, Ngaglik District, Sleman Regency. This activity was attended by 46. The results of the early detection of NCDs showed that 37% of residents had hypertension, 75% of residents had hypercholesterolemia and 35% had hyperglycemia.

Abstract

<p>This study explores the representation of healthy culture in Hoshi Shinichi’s short story <em>“Nemuri Usagi”</em> (<em>The Sleeping Rabbit</em>), focusing on how the narrative reflects Japanese values related to physical, mental, and social well-being. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and literary anthropology framework, the analysis identifies cultural elements that construct a holistic concept of health in Japanese society. The findings reveal that <em>“Nemuri Usagi”</em> portrays health not merely as the absence of illness, but as an integration of discipline, harmony, and mindfulness in daily life. Through symbolic characters and minimalist storytelling, Hoshi Shinichi emphasizes the balance between rest and productivity, individual awareness and collective responsibility. This study highlights how modern Japanese literature can serve as a medium for promoting cultural perspectives on health that combine tradition, ethics, and humanism.</p><p> </p> <a href="https://gb777info.com">gb777</a><a href="https://pajak.blitarkota.go.id/uploads/profile/">gb777</a><a href="https://baak.uika-bogor.ac.id/uploads/">slot gacor</a><a href="https://siadmin.baak.uika-bogor.ac.id/files/images/">gb777</a><a href="https://jdih.dprd-pemalangkab.go.id/">gb777</a><a href="https://disnakertrans.bungokab.go.id/">GB777</a><a href="https://jdih.bungokab.go.id/">GB777</a>slot gacorslot gacor

Abstract

Produced water is the main waste generated from oil and gas exploration and production activities, containing hazardous organic and inorganic compounds such as phenol, ammonia, sulfide, as well as oil and grease, which have the potential to pollute the environment and pose risks to occupational health and safety (OHS), particularly from exposure to H₂S and ammonia gases. This study employed an experimental design through laboratory testing and pilot-plant simulation, comprising aeration, coagulation–flocculation, biological aeration, and filtration processes at the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) of PT XYZ in Indramayu. Samples were collected from the WWTP inlet and outlet using the composite sampling method over a four-month period (April–August 2025), totaling 153 samples with triplicate tests for each parameter, including temperature, pH, oil and grease, COD, phenol, sulfide, and ammonia, in accordance with APHA (2017) standards. The results showed that the hybrid system reduced oil and grease, COD, phenol, and ammonia by more than 80%, and sulfide by more than 70%, indicating that the effluent met the quality standards set by the Ministry of Environment Regulation No. 19 of 2010. The application of hybrid technology proved to be technically effective, operationally safe, and contributed to mitigating OHS risks and supporting environmental sustainability in the upstream oil and gas industry. Further research is recommended to focus on a more detailed analysis of additional parameters such as heavy metals (Hg, Pb, Cd) and organic micro-pollutants to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the system’s effectiveness and potential environmental impacts.
