Abstract

The purchase decision of consumer is influenced by some factors such as price and product completeness. Facts in Rizkuna Groceries Store are that they set the price higher from the competitor and the product they offer are not complete. Based on those facts, the sales in Rizkuna Groceries Store have decreased. This study was conducted to find out the influence of price and product completeness toward the purchase decision of the customers in the Riskuna Groceries Store in Karang Sentosa Village. The method for this study is quantitative approach along with the customers who ever purchased from the Rizkuna Groceries Store as the respondent. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire, with a total sample of 150 people. Data quality technic was examined with validity and reliability tests. Data analysis test using multiple linear regression. Data analysis test was conducted by partial and simultaneous tests. The results of this study prove that there is a positive and significant effect of price and product completeness on purchasing decisions. Partially, price contributes 24% and product completeness contributes 45.3% to purchasing decisions. Price and product completeness simultaneously affect the purchase decision by 49.6%, and the remaining 50.4% is influenced by other variables

Abstract

Tourist who travel to tourist destinations using tourist vessels and utilize accommodation services on board generate transactions that generate revenue. However, the collection of hotel tax on tourist vessels in West Manggarai Regency has not met the target set by the local government. This phenomenon indicates a low level of taxpayer compliance. Therefore, it is essential to implement the Regent Regulation of West Manggarai Regency No. 58 of 2017 regarding the Procedures for Hotel Tax Collection on Tourist Vessels. The objective of this research is to analyze the implementation of the Regent Regulation on the Procedures for Hotel Tax Collection on Tourist Vessels and identify the obstacles faced and efforts made by the Regional Financial Management Agency to overcome these challenges. The research methodology employed in this study is qualitative with a descriptive type. The findings reveal that the implementation process of the Regent Regulation on the Procedures for Hotel Tax Collection on Tourist Vessels has not been executed effectively and doues not comply with the applicable rules due to a lack of education and information dissemination, inadequate human resources capabilities, low implementor supervision, insufficient personnel, and suboptimal inter-organizational communication. Therefore, there is a need to enhance activities related to socialization, education, supervision, and human resources training.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Konsumsi alkohol pada mahasiswa memiliki berbagai faktor penyebab, penyalahgunaan konsumsi alkohol sudah hampir merata di kalangan pelajar sampai mahasiswa. Konsumsi alkohol dikaitkan dengan risiko timbulnya masalah kesehatan seperti gangguan mental dan perilaku, termasuk ketergantungan alkohol, dan penyakit tidak menular utama seperti sirosis hati, beberapa jenis kanker, dan penyakit jantung koroner. Salah satu faktor risiko penyebab Penyakit Jantung Koroner (PJK) adalah kadar kolesterol yang tinggi, kadar kolesterol total yang tinggi ini bisa didapatkan apabila mengkonsumsi alkohol dalam jumlah tinggi. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan antara konsumsi alkohol dengan kadar kolesterol pada mahasiswa STIKES Guna Bangsa Yogyakarta. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik korelasi dengan rancangan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah 127 responden dengan teknik pengambilan proporsional. data diolah menggunakan uji korelasi Kendall-tau. Penelitian dilakukan di STIKES Guna Bangsa Yogyakarta pada bulan Juni 2024. Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa STKES Guna Bangsa Yogyakarta mengkonsumsi alkohol dalam kategori ringan 67,7%, sebagian besar mahasiswa STIKES Guna Bangsa memiliki kadar kolesterol sebagian besar pada tingkat normal dan batas resiko tinggi masing-masing sebesar 41%, berdasarkan uji korelasi Kendall tau diperoleh nilai p = 0,064. Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan konsumsi alkohol dengan kadar kolesterol pada mahasiswa STIKES Guna Bangsa Yogyakarta.

Abstract

There has been a growing interest to understand inflation through demographic lens using a critical key indicator known as the dependency ratio. However, studies investigating this nexus in terms of ASEAN nations are limited, despite ASEAN undergoing a demographic transition. Therefore, this paper aims to investigate the impact of age-population ratio on the inflation rate across 8 ASEAN countries during 2000-2020. This research uses Feasible Generalized Least Squares (FGLS) estimation, as it is robust to groupwise heteroskedasticity, serial and cross-sectional correlations. The result reveals that population aging is deflationary. However, the elderly dependence successfully explains the price dynamic after controlled by monetary and macro variables. It means that aging matters for inflation along with the macro variables dynamic. In addition, the analysis also sheds light on the impacts of the young dependency, which does not significantly impact the inflation rate when macro variables are taken into account. This research also underlines the importance of considering demographic dynamics in the future monetary policy decisions.

Abstract

Emergencies are circumstances that require immediate action or require first aid. The most common emergency is a traffic accident which can cause injuries. The death toll from traffic accidents is 30,000 people per year and the morbidity is 20,000 people per year. Efforts are being made to reduce the number of mortality and morbidity that is issued by PSC 119 emergency medical services. This study aims to analyse the correlation between knowledge level and effort to seek help related to an medical emergency. This is a descriptive correlation with a cross-sectional approach. The number of respondents was 348 people using incidental sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire level of knowledge and efforts to seek help. In addition, Kendall's tau test is used to determine the relationship between variables. The result showed the level of knowledge of 250 respondents (71.8%) was categorized as very good, 79 respondents (22.7%) have a good category, 8 respondents (2.3%) have a sufficient category, and 11 respondents (3.2%) in the poor category. The efforts to seek help by respondents were categorized as very good 72 respondents (20.7%), good category are 67 respondents (19.3), sufficient category are 86 people (24.7%), less category totaled 48 respondents (13.8%), and 75 respondents (21.5 %) is in the failed category. The relationship between variables is significant with value = 0.000 (p = 0.01). However, the correlation coefficient value is 0.180. There is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and efforts to seek help but have a weak correlation.

Abstract

Artikel ini berjudul Makna Metafora dalam Lirik Lagu Konayuki. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan makna metafora yang terdapat pada lirik lagu. Analisis makna metafora pada lirik lagu ini menggunakan telaah Moon dan Knowless. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan bentuk metode deskskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka dengan menganalis tiap bait dari llirik lagu tersebut. Untuk menganalisis lirik lagu ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan analisis Norman Fairclough. Dalam hal ini, penulis menganalisis lirik lagu dalam bentuk tiga dimensi teks yaitu:  analisis teks, praktik teks dan praktek sosiokultural. Dalam analisis teks (lirik) lagu ini penulis membahas tentang representasi, relasi, identitas, praktik teks (produksi, dan konsumsi) dan praktik sosiokultral (situasional, institusional, dan sosial). Hasil dari identifikasi unit leksikal dapat diketahui terdapat makna metafora yang cenderung mempunyai arti kontekstual yang berbeda dengan makna dasarnya yang tertuang pada 9 bait pada lirik lagu konayuki ini.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of lifestyle and word of mouth on the purchase decision of soul promise coffee. This research is a quantitative research. The sample in this study amounted to 130 respondents taken using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques use questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and determinant coefficient. The results in this study showed that based on the t test, the Word of Mouth variable was partially significant. Silmutantly, the Word of Mouth variable has a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase soul promise coffee in Summarecon Bekasi city. While the Lifestyle variable partially has a significant effect, simultaneously the Lifestyle and Word of Mouth variables have a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase soul promise coffee in Summarecon Bekasi city

Abstract

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) is a chronic disease that often shows no symptoms at the begin of the disease, so many people are not aware that they have PTM. This incident means that the lack of efficacy in carrying out early screening for PTM can be identified by carrying out early detection by checking blood pressure, blood cholesterol levels, blood sugar and measuring Body Mass Index. The aim of this activity is to detect early risk factors for non-communicable diseases after an examination. This activity includes checking blood pressure, cholesterol levels and blood glucose levels. This activity was carried out on Sunday 7 August 2023. The location of this Community Service was carried out in Dukuh Nyamplung RT 03/ RW 06, Donoharjo Village, Ngaglik District, Sleman Regency. This activity was attended by 46. The results of the early detection of NCDs showed that 37% of residents had hypertension, 75% of residents had hypercholesterolemia and 35% had hyperglycemia.

Abstract

AbstrakDesa Lubuk Enau di Kecamatan Lembak, Kabupaten Muara Enim, Sumatera Selatan, mayoritas penduduknya adalah petani dengan komoditas utama berupa pepaya. Namun, hasil pertanian pepaya belum dikelola dengan baik, sehingga nilai jualnya rendah. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi masyarakat Desa Lubuk Enau dalam mengembangkan inovasi produk UMKM dengan mengolah pepaya menjadi keripik. Kegiatan ini melibatkan sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat mengenai proses pengolahan, pengemasan, dan pelabelan produk. Dengan pengemasan yang menarik dan pelabelan yang informatif, produk keripik pepaya diharapkan memiliki daya tarik lebih dan nilai jual yang lebih tinggi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat sangat antusias dan memiliki peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai pentingnya pengemasan dan pelabelan dalam pemasaran produk. Evaluasi dan pengawasan kontinyu dilakukan untuk memastikan kualitas produk. Inovasi produk ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan UMKM dan kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Lubuk Enau. Kata kunci: pengolahan; packaging; pelabeblan; UMKM AbstractLubuk Enau Village in Lembak Sub-district, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra, has a majority of farmers whose main commodity is papaya. However, papaya agricultural products have not been managed properly, resulting in low selling value. This service aims to assist the Lubuk Enau Village community in developing innovative MSME products by processing papaya into chips. This activity involves socialization and training to the community on processing, packaging, and product labeling. With attractive packaging and informative labeling, papaya chip products are expected to have more appeal and higher selling value. The results of the activity show that the community is very enthusiastic and has increased knowledge about the importance of packaging and labeling in product marketing. Continuous evaluation and supervision are carried out to ensure product quality. This product innovation is expected to increase the income of MSMEs and the welfare of the Lubuk Enau Village community. Keywords: processing; packaging; labeling; MSMEs

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the students’ errors classified as Field Independent (FI) and Field Dependent (FD) in solving essay HOTS questions based on Watson criteria and to find out the causes of errors experienced by FI and FD types of students in finishing those questions. This was qualitative research which implemented the case study method. This research was carried out at Junior High School 3 Kepanjen Malang of 2019/2020 academic year. Research subjects were determined based on The Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT) test results. From the test, two students were selected from each type of cognitive style. The applied data collection included tests and interviews. The qualitative data analysis applied four stages: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion, and verification. The results showed that FI students experienced errors in manipulating calculation, false conclusions, incorrect use of mathematical formulas, and false calculation. On the other hand, FD students had errors in mathematical operation signs, erroneous formula writing, irresponsive to problems, errors of manipulating calculation, and not writing mathematical formulas.
