Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of online customer reviews on customer trust and impulse buying, by utilizing the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) theoretical framework. Furthermore, it examines the impact of customer trust as a mediating variable between online customer reviews and impulse buying. Data was obtained through the use of an online questionnaire which was filled out satisfactorily by a total of 150 participants. Participants in this research were individuals who had engaged in impulsive online purchasing behavior and demonstrated consumer trust. The method used in this research involves utilizing Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings show that online customer reviews significantly influence consumer trust and impulse buying, while consumer trust significantly influences impulse buying. Moreover, consumer trust partially mediated the relationship between online customer reviews and impulse buying. This research encourages online customer reviews for social commerce in Indonesia. When customer trust increases, consumers will make impulse purchases based on recommendations. Individuals who show a tendency to engage in impulsive online purchasing behavior are supported by the trust that the individual has. This research provides theoretical and practical implications that can provide valuable insight for further online consumer purchase research.

Abstract

Abstract

This research objectives is to obtain empirical evidence, analyze, and explain the influence of insurance system service quality and tangibles on student loyalty, with student satisfaction as a mediating variable at UC Makassar. The research variables consist of the dependent variable (student loyalty) and the mediating variable (student satisfaction). The sampling method was determinedusing Slovin’s formula and stratified random sampling, resulting in a total of 268 active students from the first to third year at UC Makassar. All research hypotheses were tested using SEM-PLS version 4.0. The findings indicate that the quality of insurance system services has a positive but insignificant relationship with student satisfaction as a mediating variable, and a negative relationship with student loyalty. Conversely, tangibles have a positive and significant effect on student loyalty through student satisfaction as a mediating variable.

Abstract

Knowledge sharing activity and quality of network ties play a crucial role for mompreneurs as it provide essential support, resources, and opportunities for performance growth. This study aims to examine, from the perspective of women entrepreneurs (mompreneurs), the impact of the quality of mompreneur network ties and knowledge sharing across networks on product innovation, and business performance. This study investigates mompreneurs in the tourism industry, particularly several tourist destinations in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This study's samples consist of 167 mompreneurs in the tourism industry. We analyzed the data using structural equation modeling partial least squares (SEM-PLS) and WarpPLS version 8.0 was used to process the data. We utilize SEM-PLS due to the relatively small sample size of 167 tourism industry owners or managers. The findings of this study indicate that the quality of mompreneur network ties has a significant impact on knowledge sharing across networks, product innovation, and business performance. Other findings indicate that knowledge sharing across networks positively and substantially affects product innovation.  This research offers insights into enhancing the performance of SME enterprises operated by mompreneurs.
