Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi pencemaran dan kerusakan lingkungan melalui penerapan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental semu dengan desain Pretest-Post-test Control Group. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelompok eksperimen kelas VII-3 dan kelompok kontrol kelas  VII-4. Populasi adalah siswa MTsN Kuta Baro Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pretes dan postes dan dianalasisi dengan analisis data gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif pada kelas experimen adalah kategori rendah 30% dan sedang 70 %, sedangkan pada pembelajaran konvensional adalah kategori  rendah 57%, sedang 42%. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pencemaran dan kerusakan lingkungan dengan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

.  The study of Lepidoptera that took place around the factory of Lafarge Cement Indonesia (LCI) was aimed to determine the structure of dominance of Lepidoptera and  morphological structure as basic determination of taxonomy chategory of LCI plant Lhoknga Kabupaten Aceh Besar. The study was conducted from April to June 2012. The area of the study was divided into four locations; Gunung Bale Area (location I), Gunung Badak Area (Location II), LCI factory (Location III) and Gunung Oshing (location IV). The methods were survey and capture. The structure of the dominance was analysed by dominance formula and the species was analysed descriptivelly. The findings showed that there were 13 species and 1 species with dominance index (ID)  were  0.0-0.25 and 0.26-0.50 respectivelly, and none of them with ID ˃ 0.50. The species can be potentially used as the learning media of the course were 13 species, including the morphology and anatomy of each species. The parts of the body of Lepidoptera comprising of podos, chephal, torax, abdomen, and ptera are the basic determination of the taxonomy. In brief, it was found that Lepidoptera with categories were sub-dominant and not dominant. Determination of the taxonomy relied on the various structure of morphology of each members of Lepidoptera according to examinated level of taxonomy.

Abstract

The study of the quality of water of Krueng (River) Bale in Factory Environment Lafarge Cement Indonesia (LCI) in Lhoknga Aceh Besar according to benthos biodiversity was aimed to determine the species of benthos and water quality of Krueng Bale according to benthos diversity. The study area was divided into four locations that were the upstream of the tunnel (Location 1), bridge area at the south (Location 2), branch of the river area (Location 3), and the downstream of the two creeks. The study was done from April to June 2012. The method was survey and destructive sampling. The species of benthos was analysed descriptivelly and the diversity was analysed by diversity index formula (H). The results showed that there were 20 species of benthos found in the area and the index of diversity was between 1.996 and 2.652. In brief,  River Bale is still suitable as the habitat of aquatic organisms.

Abstract

Teupin Layeu Iboih beach is one of the tourist locations in Sabang City and is one of the locations for marine tourism was developed from mass tourism to ecotourism. This research aimed to assess the suitability of Teupin Layeu Iboih beach as the location of marine ecotourism was carried out from March to June 2014. A descriptive approach was applied by using survey and fi eld observations. The parameters collected are the type of coral reefs, the coral fi sh species, the water depth, the water transparency, the type of beach, the coastal land cover, the bottom material, and the distance of freshwater availability from the beach. Research showed that Teupin Layeu Iboih beach is suitable for marine ecotourism as a recreational area with a value of 73% and very suitable for diving and snorkeling with a value of 86.7%.

Abstract

This study is entitled "Polychaeta Diversity in the Glass-kacu Waters of Nasi Island, Pulau Aceh District, Aceh Besar Regency". Polychaeta is a worm that belongs to the Phylum Annelida which has a setae, a broad body, so that its cosmopolitan life in various types of marine ecosystems. The purpose of this study, to determine the level of diversity of Polychaeta species found in the Glass-Kacu Waters and to determine the physical-chemical environmental conditions. The method used survey method with purposive sampling technique based on the presence of Polychaeta in the waters. Data analysis uses the Shannon-Winner diversity index formula, analyzed descriptively and displayed in tables. The results of the study were 10 species of Polychaeta from 5 families. The level of diversity of Polychaeta which is located at two stations in the waters of Pulau Nasi, Pulau Aceh District, Aceh Besar Regency is classified as low with diversity index adalah = 1.3158. The species that dominates in the Glass-kacu waters is Spirobranchus giganteus. For the measurement of physics-chemical factors for temperatures ranging from 24 0C-28 0C, pH 7.0 to 8.17, and 300/00-320/00. Keywords: Polychaeta Diversity, Cosmopolitan Penelitian ini berjudul “Keanekaragaman Polychaeta di Perairan Kaca-kacu Pulau Nasi Kecamatan Pulau Aceh Kabupaten Aceh Besar”. Polychaeta adalah cacing yang termasuk dalam Filum Annelida yang memiliki setae, tubuh beruas-ruas hingga penuh kosmopolitan di berbagai tipe ekosistem laut. Tujuan penelitian ini, untuk mengetahui tingkat populasi spesies Polychaeta yang terdapat di Perairan Kaca-Kacu serta untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor lingkungan fisika-kimia. Metode yang digunakan metode survei dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Samplingberdasarkan penyelesaian Polychaeta di perjalanan. Analisis data menggunakan rumus indeks variasi Shannon-Winner, dianalisis secara deskriptif dan diselesaikan dalam bentuk tabel. Hasil penelitian Ada 10 spesies Polychaeta dari 5 famili. Tingkat keragaman Polychaeta yang bergantung pada dua stasiun di Kawasan Perairan Pulau Nasi Kecamatan Pulau Aceh Kabupaten Aceh Besar di katogorikan rendah dengan indeks keanekaragamannya adalah Ĥ = 1,3158. Spesies yang menentang di daerah Perikanan Kaca-kacu adalah Spirobranchus giganteus . Untuk Pengukuran faktor fisika-kimia untuk review Suhu berkisar 24 0 C-28 0 C, pH 7,0- 8,17, Dan 30 0 / 00 -32 0 / 00 .Kata Kunci: Keanekaragaman Polychaeta, Kosmopolitan

Abstract

Keywords: Diversity Of Ground Surface Insects The research on the level of soil  surface  diversity  in Rainforest Lodges Kedah Bungalow District, Blangjerago Subdistrict, Gayo Lues District, was conducted in September to November 2019. This study aims to determine the level of soil surface insect diversity in the Rainforest Lodges Low Kedah District Blangjerango, Regency of Gayo Lues. The study  was cond ucted with an exploratory method and a       quantitative approach. Sampling was  carried out at 3 observation stations that represent tilted land and flat land, and using traps, and the determination of the     location was carried out using the transect method along 50 meters. Every 5 meters laid traps, with a amount trap usage of 30 traps. Analysis of diversity data using the diversity index (H’). The Diversity Index (H ') at station 1 is 1,224 (moderate) station 2 is 1,870 (low) and at station 3 is 2.275 (moderate). Overall, the level of diversity of soil surface insects in Rainfores Lodges Kedah Bungalow, Blangjerago District, Gayo Lues Regency is moderate.Kata kunci : Keanekaragaman Insekta Permukaan Tanah. Penelitian Tingkat    Keanekaragaman  Insekta  Permukaan   Tanah di Kawasan Rainforest Lodges Kedah Bungalow Kecamatan Blangjerago, Kabupaten Gayo Lues, dilaksanakan pada bulan September sampai dengan November 2019. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keanekaragaman insekta permukaan tanah di Kawasan Rainforest Lodges Kedah Bungalow Kecamatan Blangjerango, Kabupaten  Gayo Lues. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode ekploratif dan pendekatan         kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada 3 stasiun pengamatan yang mewakili kemirigan tanah dan tanah datar, dan mengunakan  jebakan, dan             penentuan lokasi dilakukan dengan metode transek sepanjang 50 meter. Tiap 5 meter diletakkan jebakan, dengan total pengunaan jebakan perangkap 30 buah. Analisis data tingkat keanekaragama mengunakan indeks keanekaragaman (H’). Indeks    tingkat Keanekaragaman (H’) pada stasiun 1 adalah 1,224 (sedang) stasiun 2 adalah 1.870 (rendah) dan pada stasiun 3 adalah 2,275(sedang). Secara keseluruhan  Tingkat Keanekaragaman Insekta Permukaan Tanah di Kawasan Rainfores Lodges Kedah Bungalow Kecamatan Blangjerago, Kabupaten Gayo Lues  adalah sedang.

Abstract

This research was done through the observation of population structure and habitat stratification of daily activity of Monkey long tail (M. fascicularis) which located at hutan lindung Iboih Kota Sabang. This research is descriptive with quantitative approach. This research was held in hutan lindung Iboih, Sabang district on June until July 2016.The collective data on population structure observation and grouping size of M. fascicularis by using concentration count method and for observing daily activity of M. fascicularis , scan sampling method was used. Based on the research shown that (1) Population structure of M. fascicularis on the 1st location was ranged in beween 11-12 individual. On the 2nd location was ranged in between 20-25 individual and on the 3rd location was ranged in between 10-15 individual. (2) Habitat stratification which used by M. fascicularis is more dominant by using E stratum (0 meter). Dominant activity is dynamic activity with the number of percentage is about 37,05% comparing with other activities. On the other hand the reproduction activity is more frequent doing in the altitude between 1-5 meter (D stratum) with the percentage is about 1,40% comparing with E stratum (0 meter) which only has the percentage about 0,17%. (3) The most frequent behavior which was done by the group of M. fascicularis is the behavior of moving which has the percentage about 39,50% comparing with other activities. The conclusion of this research is the population structure of M. fascicularis will form the inverted pyramid, because the mature individual is more dominant comparing with the young individual. These facts cause the age structure of long tail-macaque categorize in the regressive population.

Abstract

The Information about the presence and density data of Shingle urchin Colobocentrotus atratus in Rieting Beach, Leupung is minimal, so it is necessary to conduct research that aims to determine the population density and habitat preferences of Shingle urchin C. atratus in Rieting Beach, Leupung, Aceh Besar. This study use a quantitative approach (measure with instruments and calculating using the formula) with descriptive research. The data of Population density obtained by survey methods, with using purposive sampling technique. The results were obtained C. atratus population density in Rieting Beach Leupung, Aceh Besar amounted to 2 ind/m2. while the population density in each of the station is the first station to has the density of population is 1 ind/m2. The second station has population density of 3 ind/m2Habitat conditions attached to the substrate C. atratus rocks with the state of heavy waves at a depth of less than 1 meter with a temperature range 26-29°C, 28-32‰ salinity, water pH 6.5-7.6. The conclusions of this study population densities C. atratus in Rieting Beach, Leupung,  Aceh Besar, are 2 ind/m2. C. atratus habitat preferences atratus in Rieting  Beach is the topography of rock cliffs with 1.5 meters in height with a temperature of 28°C, salinity values 30‰ and pH value 7.Keywords: Density population, Habitat preferences, Colobocentrotus atratus

Abstract

Leachate is the liquid waste contaminated formed due to the influx of external water into the landfill, then rinsing and dissolving the materials on the landfill. Plankon is one of the bio-indicators that can be used to see the level of pollution a body of water. Plankton analysis has been done in laboratory from water that has been taken from leachate ponds at Gampong Jawa, Banda Aceh on August 2016. The aim of this research are to determine similarity index of Plankton. This research uses survey method and to take the sample using purposive random sampling method. Taking samples of plankton was done in three stations. The results were obtained seven species of phytoplankton that is Cymbella sp., Chroococcus sp., Denticula sp., Merismopedia sp., Mougeotia sp., Nitzschia sp., and Triceratium sp. Similarity index of plankton between 1st and 3rd station is 67%, 1st and 2nd station is 60% and 2 and and 3rd station is 60%. The similarity index value indicates that the degree of similarity in the leachate pond is high.Key Words: Similarity, Plankton, leachate ponds

Abstract

The ornamental fish price is determined by the appearance of colour. Feeding naturally feed in artificial feed aimed to improve the color quality of goldfish and how long it takes to improve the color. This research was used experimental method with quantutative approach. Research used CRD (Complete Random Design) which consists of 4 treatments with different concentration includes: P0: Positive control, P1: 5%, P2: 10%, and P3: 15%, with 5 replications in each treatments. Parameter in this research are color quality improvements, length and weight accretion for 6 weeks which measured in the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth week. The research result showed that feeding the pumpkin flour in artificial diet affected the color improvement of goldfish but did not affect the length and weight of goldfish. The optimal color improvement of goldfish obtained on the treatment with 15% concentration. A summary of this research is feeding the pumpkin flour in artificial diet on 42 days affected the color improvement of goldfish but did not affect the length and weight of goldfish.
