Abstract

Growth is the process of increasing the volume and number of cells so that the size of the body of living things increases. Anodonta woodiana is a species of freshwater mussel as macrozoobenthos that lives in fresh waters and has a relatively sedentary nature. This study aims to determine (1) growth patterns and (2) Anadonta woodiana habitat characteristics based on substrates in the waters of the Aron Patah River, Panga District, Aceh Jaya Regency. This research was conducted in June to July 2019. The type of research used in this research is quantitative descriptive. The method used in this study is a survey method with purposive sampling technique. The location of this study was divided into 3 observation stations. Data were analyzed with the formula of growth patterns and environmental conditions analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the constant value of the estimation of growth pattern (b) ranged from 1.9602 to 2.3681. Habitat characteristics at station I have sand substrate while at station II and III have substrate sand, temperature ranges from 27ºC - 30ºC, with pH ranging from 7.2 - 7.8 and salinity ranges from 24‰ - 30‰. Macrobenthos found in this study were Melanoides torulosa, Paphila undulata, and Pila ampullacea. Vegetation found Hibiscus tiliaceus, Imperata cylindrica, Casuarina equisetifolia and Eichornia crassipes. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the growth pattern of A.woodiana in the Aron Patah River waters is negative allometric.Keywords: Growth patterns, Anadonta woodiana, Habitat, RiverPertumbuhan adalah proses pertambahan volume dan jumlah sel sehingga ukuran tubuh makhluk hidup bertambah besar. Anodonta woodiana adalah salah satu spesies kerang air tawar sebagai makrozoobenthos yang hidup di perairan tawar dan mempunyai sifat hidup yang relatif menetap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Pola pertumbuhayangn dan (2) Karakteristik habitat A. woodiana berdasarkan substrat di perairan Sungai Aron Patah Kecamatan Panga Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juni sampai Juli 2019. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah  metode survey dengan teknik Purposive sampling. Lokasi penelitian ini dibagi kedalam 3 stasiun pengamatan. Data dianalisis dengan rumus pola pertumbuhan dan kondisi lingkungan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai konstanta penduga pola pertumbuhan (b) berkisar 1,9602-2,3681. Karakteristik habitat pada stasiun I bersubstrat pasir sedangkan pada stasiun II dan III bersubstrat lempung psasir, suhu berkisar antara 27ºC - 30ºC, dengan pH berkisar antara 7,2 - 7,8 dan salinitas berkisar antara 24‰ – 30‰. Makrobenthos yang temukan pada penelitian ini Melanoides torulosa, Paphila undulata, dan Pila ampullacea. Vegetasi yang temukan Hibiscus tiliaceus, Imperata cylindrica, Casuarina equisetifolia dan Eichornia crassipes. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pola pertumbuhan A.woodiana di perairan Sungai Aron Patah bersifat allometrik negatif.Kata kunci: pola pertumbuhan, Anadonta woodiana, habitat, sungai

Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Keanekaragaman Insekta pada Tanaman Cengkeh di Gampong Meunasah Beutong Kecamatan Lhoknga Kabupaten Aceh Besar” telah dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2015 s.d Maret 2016. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman insekta pada tanaman cengkeh di Gampong Meunasah Beutong Kecamatan Lhoknga Kabupaten Aceh Besar, (2) Untuk mengetahui komposisi spesies insekta yang menguntungkan dan merugikan pada tanaman cengkeh di Gampong Menasah Beutong Kecamatan Lhoknga Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jelajah serta observasi langsung pada tanaman cengkeh. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara Purposive Sampling. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif yaitu dengan mengunakan rumus  indeks keanekaragaman oleh Shannon-Weiner (H’). Hasil penelitian diketahui tingkat keanekaragaman sebesar 5.56 dengan katagori tinggi dan komposisi spesies insekta menguntungkan sebesar 8,90% dan komposisi spesies insekta merugikan sebesar 91,10% pada kedua stasiun pengamatan pagi dan malam. Kesimpulan adalah (1) Tingkat keanekaragaman spesies insekta pada perkebunan cengkeh adalah tinggi. (2) Komposisi spesies insekta yang menguntungkan lebih sedikit dibandingkan dengan komposisi spesies insekta merugikan pada perkebunan cengkeh di Gampong Meunasah Beutong Kecamatan Lhoknga Kabupaten Aceh Besar.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengamatan tentang persepsi masyarakat pada daerah konflik gajah-manusia yang berdampak kepada konservasi gajah dan habitatnya di Gampong Panca Kecamatan Lembah Seulawah Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan menggunakan subjek proportional sampling. Pada proses pengamatan, ada beberapa aspek yang harus diperhatikan seperti pendeskripsian gangguan habitat gajah sumatera di lokasi penelitian, tingkat kerusakan yang disebabkan oleh gajah sumatera, dan bagaimana persepsi masyarakat disekitar kawasan konflik gajah-manusia terhadap konservasi gajah. Jenis gangguan yang disebabkan oleh konflik gajah-manusia bervariasi, dari gangguan ringan sampai gangguan sedang dengan tafsiran kerugian yang besar. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa persepsi masyarakat pada lokasi penelitian terhadap konflik gajah-manusia memiliki tingkat persepsi yang baik.Kata Kunci: gajah sumatera, konservasi, aceh besar, persepsi, konflik gajah-manusiaABSTRACT The aim of this research is to observations on public perception on human-elephant conflict area that affect the conservatio of elephants and their habitats in the district of Gampong Panca, Lembah Seulawah District, Aceh Besar Region. Type of research is descriptive research with used quantitative approach and used the subject of proportional sampling. In the process of observation, there are several aspects that must be considered such as the description habitat disturbance of the sumatran elephant in the conflict area, the level of damage caused by Sumatran elephants, and how the public perception around the area of human-elephant conflict towards elephant conservation. This type of disorder that is caused by human-elephant conflict varies, from mild impairment to moderate interference with the interpretation of a large loss. The results of data analysis showed that the public perception of research sites against human-elephant conflict have good levels of perception.     Keywords: sumatran elephants, conservation, aceh besar, perception, human elephant conflict.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pestisida organik dari ekstrak tanaman tembakau dalam mengendalikan hama keong mas pada tanaman padi di persawahan Gampong Tungkop, Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Pendekatan dari penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif, metode yang digunakan untuk perubahan perilaku  adalah pendekatan deskriptif dan metode eksperimen pola Rancangan Acak Lengkap untuk efektivitas ekstrak tanaman tembakau dalam membasmi hama keong mas. Rancangan Acak Lengkap yang digunakan terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan untuk ektrak daun tembakau. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah perubahan pola perilaku keong mas dan jumlah individu yang mati. Data dianalisis dengan ANAVA pada taraf signifikasi 0,05, dilanjutkan uji lanjut Jarak Nyata Duncan. Hasil uji ANAVA menunjukkan bahwa Fhitung Ftabel pada taraf signifikan 0,05%. Pada 3 jam Pengamatan  Fhitung 3,450 Ftabel 2,895, pada 6 jam pengamatanFhitung 4,500 Ftabel 2,895, pada 9 jam pengamatn Fhitung 4,269 Ftabel 2,895, dan pada 12 jam pengamatan Fhitung 3,789 Ftabel 2,895. Jumlah kematian keong mas (P.canacilulata) yang sangat tinggi terdapat pada perlakuan P4 (20% ekstrak). Kesimpulannya adalah terdapat pengaruh pestisida organik dari ekstrak tanaman tembakau dalam kematian hama keong mas pada tanaman padi di kawasan persawahan Gampong Tungkop, Aceh Besar.Kata Kunci: Daun tembakau, Keong Mas, Hama, Dosis dan Kematian

Abstract

Research about the Spinners Gardens Spiders (orb-weaver spider) nest location  Shaped circle in coffee plantations Umah Besi Village Kecamatan Gajah Putih  Kabupaten Bener Meriah, has been carried out in November 2015. This study aimed to determine the location of the nest of orb-weaver spider species in coffee plantations Kampung Umah Besi Kecamatan  Gajah Putih Kabupaten Bener Meriah. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach and data used in accordance with the existing data in the field. The study was conducted by using purposive sampling method, set the fifth station is the station first coffee plantations adjacent to the river, the second station II coffee plantations adjacent to the road, the station to III coffee plantations adjacent to crops, station IV coffee plantations adjacent to chocolate garden, and coffee plantations V station to the adjacent houses. At the fifth station assigned each observation area, the area is one hectare. Observations were made at four observation points each station is an observation point neighborhood coffee trees, banana trees neighborhood observation point, observation point petai tree area and observation point region jackfruit tree. The results of the study of spiders nesting sites of average height nest formation of ground level ranges as between 50-230 cm. It is located at the tip of the stem, in the middle of the rod, and among the branches of the tree. The conclusions of this study spiderweb most predominantly found at a height of 50 cm to 170 cm from ground level, and the lowest at a height of 171 cm to 230 cm. Abstract

Keywords: Macrozoobentos, Diversity, River Rainforest Lodges Kedah. Rainforest Lodges are a tourist attaraction that is also used as a place for research activities. Various human activities such as disposal of industrial waste and household waste cause a decrease in river water quality, resulting in the river is no longer able to recover resulting in diversity of aquatic biota, one of which is macrozoobenthos activity. The study was conducted in September to October 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of macrozoobenthos diversity, and to determine the physical and chemical conditions of the waters. The method used is a survey method, with a purposive sampling, technique based on the presence of freshwater macrozoobentos. Data analysis uses the Shannon-Wiener diversity index formula. The result of the study were 15 macrozoobentos species from 15 families. Diversity index at each station I with H'= 1,63, at station II with H'= 2,08, and at station III with H'= 1,70.  The conclusion in this study is the level of diversity of macrozoobenthos species the waters of the Rainforest Lodges Kedah, Blangjerango District, Gayo Lues Regency is classified as moderate (range 1,63-2,08). And the result of measurements obtained physical chemistry of aquatic factors obtained ranged from 27º C-30º C, the pH water obtained ranges from 7,5-8,9, depth ranges between 1,2-1,4 m. Depth ranges between as for salinity 0‰-0,01‰.Kata kunci : keanekaragaman, makrozoobentos, sungai Rainforest Lodges Kedah Rainforest Lodges Kedah adalah satu tempat wisata yang juga dijadikan tempat untuk kegiatan penelitian. Banyaknya aktivitas manusia seperti pembuangan limbah industri, limbah rumah tangga mengakibatkan menurunnya kualitas air sungai, menjadikankan sungai tidak mampu lagi melakukan pemulihan, berakibat pada keanekaragaman biota perairan salah satunya aktivitas makrozoobentos. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan September sampai Oktober 2019. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk (1) mengetahui tingkat keanekaragaman makrozoobentos, dan untuk (2) mengetahui kondisi fisika dan kimia perairan. Adapun Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode survey, dengan teknik purposive sampling, berdasarkan kehadiran makrozoobentos air tawar. Analisa data menggunakan rumus indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener. Hasil penelitian terdapat 15 spesies makrozoobentos dari 15 famili. Indeks keanekaragaman di setiap stasiun, stasiun I dengan H'= 1,63, pada stasiun II dengan H'= 2,08, dan pada stasiun III dengan H'= 1,70.  Adapun kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah tingkat keanekaragaman spesies makrozoobentos di perairan sungai Rainforest Lodges Kedah Kecamatan Blangjerango Kabupaten Gayo Lues tergolong sedang (kisaran 1,63-2,08) dan hasil pengukuran faktor fisika-kimia yang diperoleh berkisar antara 27º C-30º C, pH air diperoleh berkisar antara 7,5-8,9, kedalaman berkisar antara 1,2-1,4 m. Sedangkan untuk salinitas adalah 0‰-0,01‰.

Abstract

Mangrove crabs are soft shell crab molting phase Bakau (molting). Molting process in nature occurs varies with different methods that need to be done penelitian.Tujuan this research is to know the effect of cutting the foot of the street (popey) and the binding of the eyeball (ablation) to long time Bakau molting crab (Scylla serrata) male in Gampong Cot Lamkuweh Meuraxa district of Banda Aceh. The work was undertaken in April-November 2016. The method used in the cultivation process is the soft shell crab Mangrove foot path method (popey), the binding of the eyeball (ablation) and natural implemented in Gampong Cot Lamkuweh Meuraxa district of Banda Aceh. Processing data using Variant Analysis (ANOVA). The degree of survival for all treatments ranged between 60% -75%. The growth rate of the highest daily weight contained in the binding of the eyeball treatment (ablation) that is equal to 48.91%. While the number of crab molting within 40 days of the highest in the treatment of leg amputation (popey) of mangrove crab molting on day 21 until day 3. Crab molting against time ranged WiBB 20:00 - 22:00 WiBB and only a few crabs molting in the morning and afternoon. The conclusion states that the soft shell mud crab no significant effect on the degree of survival and the growth rate of daily weight (P 0.05) but significant effect on the day and time of molting mud crab. Key Words: Effect of Molting, Popey, Ablation, Mud Crab

Abstract

This research was conducted in September - October 2016. The purpose of this research was to know the abundance and diversity gastropod and bivalve in mangrove ecosystemGampong Ie Masen Muara Tiga Pidie. The technique sampling used was purposive sampling. The data was collected during the low tide. The samples was taken on three stations with three repetitions. The technique data sampling of gastropod and bivalve was performed by using technique 1 m × 1 m transect quadrate. The data analysis was done by using the formula of abundance and index of diversity. From the data analysis result was found that 13,08ind/m2 gastropod and 12,76 ind/m2 from bivalve. Its abundance ranged from 23,65 – 27,98 ind/m2. The diversity index (H') at each station ranges from 2,57 – 2,95. This result showed that gastropods and bivalves in the mangrove ecosystem Gampong Ie Masen have moderate diversity. The type of mangroves at this research location is Rhizoporastylosa with density 0,09 – 0,19 ind /m2.       Penelitian inidilakukan padabulan September - Oktober2016.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kelimpahan dan keanekaragaman kelas gastropoda dan kelas bivalvia di ekosistem mangrove Gampong Ie Masen Kecamatan Muara Tiga Kabupaten Pidie. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada saat air surut. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada tiga stasiun dengan tiga kali pengulangan. Pengambilan data sampel gastropoda dan bivalvia dilakukan dengan menggunakan transek kuadrat 1 m × 1 m. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus kelimpahan dan indeks keanekaragaman. Dari data hasil penelitian diketahui 13,08 ind/m2gastropoda yang ditemukan dan 12,76 ind/m2 daribivalvia. Kelimpahannya berkisar23,65 – 27,98ind/m2. Indeks keanekaragaman (H') pada setiap stasiun berkisar antara2,57 - 2,95. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa gastropoda dan bivalvia pada ekosistem mangrove Gampong Ie Masen memiliki keanekaragaman yang sedang. Jenis mangrove pada lokasi penelitian ini adalah Rhizoporastylosa dengan kerapatan 0.09 - 0.19ind/m2.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the abundance of mud crab (Scylla) in the area of rehabilitation of mangrove Pulo Sarok Singkil District of Aceh Singkil. This research was conducted in January and February 2016 using purposive sampling method, while the placement of crab traps was random. Regions ware divided into three stations with an area of 10 m x 10 m and each station placed five rattan traps. Each trap was installed in the afternoon at low tide and the collection were made in the morning at low tide. Mangrove crabs abundance data were analyzed using abundance formula. We found 56 individuals of the four species in which Scylla serrata 7 ind/m2, Scylla olivacea 25 ind/m2, Scylla tranquebarica 12 ind/m2, and Scylla paramamosain 12 ind/m2. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelimpahan kepiting bakau (Scylla) di kawasan rehabilitasi mangrove Pulo Sarok Kecamatan Singkil Kabupaten Aceh Singkil. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Bulan Januari-Februari 2016, metode yang digunakan untuk penentuan stasiun adalah metode purposive sampling, sedangkan penempatan bubu adalah secara acak. Kawasan penelitian dibagi kepada tiga stasiun dengan luas 10 m x10 m dan setiap stasiun diletakkan lima bubu. Pemasangan bubu dilakukan sore hari pada saat air surut dan diangkat pagi hari pada saat air surut, bahan baku bubu terbuat dari rotan. Data kelimpahan kepiting bakau dianalisis menggunakan rumus kelimpahan. Berdasarkan Hasil penelitian ditemukan 56 individu dari empat spesies yaitu Scylla serrata 7 ind/m2, Scylla olivacea 25 ind/m2, Scylla tranquebarica 12 ind/m2, dan Scylla paramamosain 12 ind/m2. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah kelimpahan kepiting bakau di kawasan rehabilitasi mangrove Pulo Sarok Kecamatan Singkil Kabupaten Aceh Singkil berkisar antara 7 ind/m2- 25 ind/m2.

Abstract

This research was about the Dominance of Macrozoobenthos related to factor of physics-chemical in Kuala Pidie Subdistrict, Sigli city. The research was conducted during Mei 2016, based on purposive sampling method. Data collection was done on three stations with three repetitions in each location. The result of research showed 7 macrozoobenthos species which was classified into 2 classes, namely Gastropoda and Malacostraca. The highest density was found at station 2 behind in village with value of 18 ind/m2. The dominance index was classified as low category.Penelitian tentang  Dominansi Makrozoobenthos Di Kuala Pidie Kecamatan Kota Sigli Kabupaten Pidie. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui makrozoobenthos yang mendominansi di kawasan Kuala Pidie Kecamatan Kota Sigli, Kabupaten Pidie. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2016 di Kawasan Kuala Pidie Kecamatan Kota Sigli Kabupaten Pidie. Terdapat 3 lokasi  stasiun penelitian yaitu di stasiun 1 di belakang pasar ikan kota sigli, stasiun 2 di kawasan perumahan warga, dan stasiun 3 di  kawasan pesisir pantai. Pengambilan sampling ini dilakukan dengan metode purposive random sampling dan didasarkan pada tujuan yang diinginkan dan pemanfaatan di sekitar Pantai Alun-alun Kecamatan Kota Sigli, pada setiap stasiun dilakukan pengulangan sebanyak 3 kali secara acak. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 7 spesies makrozoobenthos yang tergolong dalam 2 kelas yaitu Gastropoda, Malacostraca. Nilai  kepadatan tertinggi pada  stasiun  2 dengan jumlah 18 ind/m2 dipadati oleh Nerita linnaeus sedangkan terendah pada stasiun 1dan 3. Nilai indek dominansi pada ketiga stasiun penelitian tergolong dalam kategori rendah.
