Abstract

This study aims to know study results through the use of students (LKPD) based the problem based learning to the matter excretory system.The research was carried out in MTsN Rukoh the city was Aceh in Maret-April 2016. Methods used in research is experimental methods to a draft pretest posttest control design. Study was conducted in the two namely VIII3 as a class experiment and VIII4 as a class control. An instrument used in this research using tests to appraise the outcome of student learning about double shaped choice. An analysis of data using the independent sample t-test with the help of spss 19.0 for windows on significant 0,05 standard .Test t show that t_count>t_table study results 7,137>2,002. Drawing conclusions utilization based LKPD based PBL can improve Student Achievement on the matter of excretion in MTsN Rukoh Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan Jigsaw pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia. Metode penelitian adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain kontrol grup tes awal dan tes akhir. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan pada kelas XI IPA 3 menggunakan model kooperatif tipe STAD dan kelas XI IPA 1 menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Jigsaw di MAN I Takengon. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes hasil belajar. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan mengumpulkan data kemampuan awal siswa (pre-test), data kemampuan akhir siswa (post-tes), data peningkatan pemahaman konsep (N-Gain). Analisis data hasil belajar menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen STAD dan Jigsaw diperoleh t hitung 25,20 dan t tabel 1,65. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen STAD dan Jigsaw. Kata Kunci: Kooperatif tipe STAD, Jigsaw, Sistem Reproduksi Manusia. This research is aimed to know the difference of study result using cooperative study model for STAD and Jigsaw type in the material of human reproduction system material. The research method is experiment method with one control group design for beginning and ending test. It has been done at XI IPA 3 class using cooperative model of STAD type and XI IPA 1 class using cooperative model of Jigsaw type at MAN 1 Takengon. Instruments used are study result test. Data collecting techniques by collecting data of students beginning capability (pre test), data of students ending capability (post test), data of concept understanding improvement (N-Gain). Data analysis of study result was using t-test. The result showed that students’ study result of STAD and Jigsaw experiment class gives t-counted is 25,20 and t-table is 1,65. The conclusion of this research was, there was a student study result difference between STAD experiment class and Jigsaw. Keyword: CooperativeSTAD, Jigsaw, Reproductive System.

Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Optimalisasi Pembelajaran dengan E-Book dan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Multimedia untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA pada Materi Dunia Tumbuhan” telah dilakukan pada tanggal 23 April sampai dengan 13 Mei 2013 di MAN Model Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat dan mengembangkan E-Book sebagai media pembelajaran elektronik berbasis web, mengimplementasikan E-Book dunia tumbuhan E-Book sebagai sumber belajar dan melihat pengaruh E-Book serta media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia untuk mengoptimalkan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pretest-posttes Control Group Design. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes objektif berupa tes pilihan ganda. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan pretes, postes, dan pemberian angket. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan mencari N-Gain dan membandingkan N-Gain kelas experimen dengan N-Gain kelas kontrol. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t independen sample t-tes. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa nilai t-hitung untuk kelas experimen adalah 3,53, maka t-hitung>dari t-tabel 1,645. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya peningkatan. Hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan e-Book dan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia, E-Book dapat diimplementasikan sebagai sumber belajar dunia tumbuhan, serta E-Book dapat dikembangkan sebagai bahan ajar dunia tumbuhan. Kata Kunci: E-Book, Media Pembelajaran Multimedia dan Hasil Belajar. A research entitled, "Optimizing Learning by Using E-Book and Multimedia-Based Instructional media to Improve Students’ outcome at Class X of Senior High School in The material of Plant World" has been carried out on April 23 until May 13, 2013 in MAN Model Banda Aceh. This study aimed at designing and developing E-Book as a web-based electronic learning media, implementing Plant World E-Book as one of sources of learning and see the impact of the E-Book and multimedia-based instructional media to optimize students’ learning outcomes. It was an experimental research with pre-test post-tes control group design. The data were collected by giving pre-test, post-test, and questionnaire. The instruments used in this study were an objective test in the form of multiple-choices and questionnaires. The data then processed by calculating and comparing the N-Gain of experimental class to the N-Gain of control class. They were analyzed by using independent sample t-test. Statistical analysis showed that the value of t-test for experimental class was 3.53, then the t-count > t-table was 1.645. It can be concluded that there were improvement of students’ learning outcome after using E-book and multimedia-based instructional media, E-Book can be implemented as one of sources of learning the plant world, also E-Book can be developed as one of teaching materials of plant world. Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Penerapan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) Berbasis Multimedia Terhadap Berpikir Kritis Siswa SMAN 1 Sakti Kabupaten Pidie Pada Materi Sistem Pernapasan Manusia” telah dilakukan pada tanggal 22 April sampai dengan tanggal 18 Mei 2013 di SMA Negeri 1 Sakti Kabupaten Pidie. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan berpikir kritis siswa antara kelas yang menggunakan model tipe STAD berbasis multimedia dengan kelas konvensional pada siswa kelas XI-IPA di SMAN 1 Sakti Kabupaten Pidie pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain kontrol grup tes awal dan tes akhir. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas XI yang berjumlah 176 siswa, sampelnya sebanyak 60 siswa yang dibagi menjadi dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes untuk menilai keterampilan berpikir kritis. Parameter penelitian ini adalah keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji t pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan berpikir kritis siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan kooperatif STAD berbasis multimedia dengan konvensional. Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbasis multimedia lebih baik daripada keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang diajarkan dengan model konvensional. Kata Kunci: STAD, Multimedia, Berpikir kritis, dan Sistem Pernapasan Manusia. A study entitled "The application of Cooperative Learning Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) of Multimedia -Based toward Critical Thinking of SMAN 1 Sakti Pidie Students in the material of Human Respiratory System" has been conducted since April 22 until May 18, 2013. This study was aiming at finding out the differences of students’ critical thinking between the class that used STAD models based on multimedia and the conventional one. This study was conducted in Science Class grade XI of SMAN 1 Sakti Pidie district in the material of human respiratory system. This study used a quasi-experimental method with pre-test and post-test control group design. The population of this study was all of students class XI for about 176 students. Meanwhile, the samples were 60 students that were divided into two classes, namely experimental class and control one. The instrument used in this study was a test of critical thinking skills. The data then analyzed by using t-test at the significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the critical thinking skill of students who learned by cooperative STAD using multimedia -based was better than those who learned by using conventional one. Penelitian yang berjudul “Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw Pada Konsep Sistem Pencernaan Makanan Manusia Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sakti Kabupaten Pidie” telah dilakukan pada bulan Mei. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes objektif berupa tes pilihan ganda. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan pretest dan postest. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan mencari N-gain dan membandingkan N-gain kelas eksperimen dengan N-gain kelas kontrol. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan ujit independent sample test. Hasil uji statistik untuk hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan hasil thitung 12,13 dengan ttabel 1,645. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar pada siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw dengan siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional di SMA Negeri 1 Sakti Kabupaten Pidie. Kata Kunci: Kooperatif Jigsaw dan Hasil Belajar The research entitled “The Implementation of Jigsaw Cooperative Models in the Concept of Human Digestive Systems on Learning Outcomes of Senior High School Students” was carried out from April to May, 2013 at Public Senior High School (SMAN 1) Sakti, Pidie district. This research aimed at identifying the different of students’ learning outcomes taught using Jigsaw Cooperative and Conventional Teaching Models. The method used in this study was experimental methods using pretest-posttest control group design. The instrument used in this study was an objective test with multiple choice items. The data were obtained from pre-tests, post-tests, and questionnaires. They were then analyzed by using N-gain. The N-gain from experimental class was compared to the control class. After that, t-test was calculated (independent sample test). The statistical result of students’ learning shows that tcount > ttable (12.13 > 1.645). The conclusion of this research was that there were differences between learning outcomes of students who have been taught using Jigsaw Cooperative Teaching Models, and students who were taught using Conventional Teaching Models at SMAN 1 (Public Senior High School) Sakti, Pidie District. Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the land transfer to the diversity of mangrove benthos in the district of Banda Aceh Jaya Baru. This research was conducted in September-November 2014 in an area of mangrove Jaya Baru sub-district of Banda Aceh. The method used survey method or direct observation. Stations were divided into four stations using purposive sampling method on the basis of the existence of mangrove. Benthos diversity analyzed by formula diversity index, while the impact of the transfer was analyzed with the description. The results obtained by analysis of benthos diversity on land that has been reclaimed 1.18 and on land that is not reclaimed 1,17. The conclusion is the diversity of benthos was proving that the land transfer mangrove in the district of Banda Aceh Jaya Baru impact on the benthos diversity that needs to be disseminated and awareness-raising so that the mangrove ecosystem is maintained.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of inquiry-based learning modules to science process skills and student learning outcomes in aquatic ecology courses at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Teuku Umar University. This research method is pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all students at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Teuku Umar University. The sample in this study was students in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 Academic Year in the Fisheries and Marine Studies Program, totaling 105 students and 5 classes taking Aquatic Ecology courses, namely the Fisheries, Aquaculture and Aquatic Resources study program. The results showed that the application of inquiry-based learning modules could improve science process skills in aquatic ecology courses at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Teuku Umar University. The results of the analysis prove that the average percentage of students' Science Process Skills on indicators of observation is 85.08, interpretation is 60.32, classification is 92.06, communication is 77.78, experiment is 70.16, and principle is 66.98. The application of inquiry-based learning modules can improve student learning outcomes in aquatic ecology courses at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Teuku Umar University. The results of the average increase in student learning outcomes pretest 42.93, posttest 76.5, and N-gain 62.82. While the results of the average difference test indicate that the significance value is 0.013 <0.05, meaning that there is a difference in the average student learning outcomes before and after applying the guided inquiry module. Based on the results of research that has been done, it can be concluded that there is an increase in science process skills and student learning outcomes

Abstract

COVID-19 is a type of deadly virus that infects the human respiratory tract.  Therefore, all activities must follow the health protocols follow published by the Indonesian Ministry of Health, such as social distancing, wearing masks and washing hands. The aim of this empowering community programme is to give the reinforcement for the Suak Indrapuri community that conducted routinity at coastal environment. In other hand, we also provided the touchless hand washer assistance to make it easier for people to do health protocols. This study which is a part of community service activity was conducted by using the lecture/mentoring method. The output of the activity is an increase of public awareness to always follow health protocols to every activity. The activity received a positive response from the local community. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the community in participating in this community service activity.

Abstract

Corona virus (COVID-19) is a type of deadly virus with a fast spreading process. This virus infects the human respiratory tract. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, all activities must follow the health protocols published by the Indonesian Ministry of Health, such as social distancing, wearing masks and washing hands. The aim of this study is to provide understanding to the Kuala Bubon fishing community regarding health protocols as an effort to prevent COVID-19 and to provide touchless hand washer assistance to make it easier for people to do health protocols. This study which is a part of community service activity was conducted by using the lecture/mentoring method. The output of the activity is an increase of public awareness to always follow health protocols to every activity. The activity received a positive response from the local community. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the community in participating in this community service activity.

Abstract

The coastal area of Gampoeng Peunaga Raryeuk has a lot of potential for pandanus plants and is good for use as raw material for making pandanus woven. The people of Gampoeng Peunaga Rayeuk generally have weaving skills that have been passed down from generation to generation. However, so far the weaving activities have temporarily dimmed due to less varied product yields, thus affecting weak market power. In connection with the phenomenon in the field, training and community empowerment were carried out. The aim is to train people to make various plaits using pandan leaves that are around. This training activity uses demonstration and lecture methods. It is hoped that new jobs will be created, especially in the economic and agricultural fields for the people who live in Peunaga Rayek Village, Meureubo District, West Aceh Regency.
