Abstract

Social environment provides organization capability in knowledge creation, transfer and implementation which leading the company into successful knowledge management by providing competitive human capital. PT. Unilever Indonesia, Tbk as successful Indonesian company in Knowledge Management was awarded the Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE) in Asia from 2005 until 2009. The study objectives are 1) to identify knowledge management implementation 2) to analyze the gap between perceived and actual implementation factors in knowledge management 3) to analyze social environment success factor in knowledge management implementation. The primary data collection methods were using questionnaires from 86 respondents and in depth interview with Learning Specialist of PT. Unilever Indonesia, Tbk, and secondary data were collected from journals, books, company annual year reports and other related literatures. There were five knowledge management implementation approaches used by the company: human resources development, learning environment as a culture, stakeholders’ knowledge as one of resources, community education and supported infrastructure and facilities. Statistical analysis showed there is no gap between perceived and actual implementation factors in knowledge management. And trust, autonomy, involvement and empowerment were the social environment key success factors in knowledge management implementation.

Abstract

The Science and Technology-Based Entrepreneurship Development Program (PPKBI) plays a crucial role as a form of downstream research translation towards commercialization. This community engagement initiative is expected to enhance collaboration with partners, in this case, a student entrepreneurship group known as the Fisheries Product Club (FPC). The downstream products have already been granted simple patents, namely Ubikan Fish Nugget (Patent No. IDS000004954) and Anekarasa Catfish Macaroni (Patent No. IDS000005784). The objective of this program is to provide opportunities to accelerate the development of a culture of utilizing university research outputs for the benefit of the community, as well as to foster cooperation with partners, including industry and marketing sectors. The implementation method employed the Participatory Action Learning System (PALS), which is fundamentally based on engaging students in an active and naturally participatory learning process within the entrepreneurship program through training. This approach forms an interactive, participatory learning system, both at the individual and group levels. A total of 20 participants, all members of the FPC, took part in the program. The training yielded positive responses and motivated participants to embark on entrepreneurial activities. The products, Anekarasa catfish macaroni and Ubikan fish nuggets, hold strong potential to be developed as viable business opportunities for emerging entrepreneurs

Abstract

Penderita disabilitas masih banyak yang tidak memahami makanan apasaja yang tepat untuk dikonsumsi. Ketidakpahaman dalam pemilihan makanan yang tepat sangat mempengaruhi kesehatan pada tubuh seseorang. Banyak makanan yang memiliki kandungan gizi yang baik dapat dikonsusmi, akan tetapi diperlukan gizi atau makanan yang tepat. Untuk membantu penderita disabilitas maka dibutukan sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan yang diharapkan dapat memberi kemudahan untuk membantu dalam menentukan makanan yang tepat dikonsumsi, dengan cara memunculkan rekomendasi yang akurat dan sistematis. Untuk itu, penelitian ini mengusulkan dibangunnya sebuah sistem untuk merekomendasikan makanan Disabilitas. Dengan mempertimbangkan kebutuhan jenis makanan agar kebutuhan gizi disabelitas terpenuhi, penelitian ini menggunakan metode technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS). Tahapan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data, analisa penerapan metode, implementasi, dan pengujian. Menentukan kriteria antara lain protein, karbohidrat, lemak, vitamin, kalium dan mengambil beberapa alternative. Dalam penelitian ini, menghasilkan pilihan terbaik dalam memberikan rekomendasi makanan yang tepat untuk disabilitas yaitu menggunakan alternative kacang kedelai dengan nilai perangkingan 1.

Abstract

Cosmos caudatus is a herb that benefits overall health. This study aimed to determine the effect of C. caudatus leaf supplementation in feed on blood glucose levels in catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) challenged with Aeromonas hydrophila. This study was conducted from March to August 2024 at the Marine Microbiology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Universitas Riau. The method used was an experimental design employing a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications: negative control (NC, no supplementation, no infection), positive control (PC, no supplementation, with A. hydrophila bacterial infection), supplementation with C. caudatus at doses of 10 g/kg (T1), 15 g/kg (T2), and 20 g/kg (T3) of feed, all tested against A. hydrophila. The fish fry used weighed 5.00 ± 1.00 g and were reared for 75 days in 100-L tanks integrated with an aquaponics system. The fish were fed the experimental feed for 60 days before challenge with A. hydrophila bacteria (10⁸ CFU/mL, intramuscular injection) and continued for 14 days after challenge. Blood glucose levels were measured at the beginning (day 1), day 30, pre-challenge (day 60), and post-challenge (day 75). The results showed that adding basil leaves to the feed affected blood glucose (P<0.05). The addition of C. Caudatus leaves maintained glucose homeostasis within the range of 68.33±10.59-79.67±7.77 mg/dL. These findings indicate that C. Caudatus supplementation effectively prevents hyperglycemia caused by A. hydrohila infection in striped catfish and suggest its potential as a natural immunostimulant and metabolic modulator in aquaculture

Abstract

Waduk PLTA Koto Panjang merupakan infrastruktur nasional yang memiliki fungsi multidimensional sebagai pembangkit listrik, area perikanan, dan kawasan pariwisata di Provinsi Riau. Tekanan hidrologis yang meningkat akibat intensitas curah hujan tinggi, degradasi tutupan hutan di wilayah hulu Daerah Aliran Sungai Kampar, dan perubahan iklim berpotensi mengubah karakteristik fisika-kimia perairan waduk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas air Waduk PLTA Koto Panjang berdasarkan parameter suhu, pH, dan oksigen terlarut, serta mengevaluasi status kualitas perairan berdasarkan baku mutu air nasional. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan September-Oktober 2024 menggunakan metode survei dengan pengukuran in situ setiap 10 hari sekali selama 60 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan suhu air berkisar 28-31°C, nilai pH 6-7, dan konsentrasi DO 6,1-7,4 mg/L. Ketiga parameter tersebut masih memenuhi baku mutu air kelas II untuk air danau dan sejenisnya. Simpulan, kualitas air Waduk PLTA Koto Panjang masih dalam kondisi baik dan memenuhi standar baku mutu nasional untuk mendukung fungsi ekologis dan ekonomisnya. Hasil kajian ini dapat menjadi baseline data untuk pemantauan kualitas air jangka panjang serta dasar ilmiah dalam penyusunan strategi pengelolaan waduk yang berkelanjutan dan adaptif terhadap perubahan lingkungan

Abstract

Krisis ekologis global dan meningkatnya polarisasi sosial menuntut pendekatan pengabdian masyarakat yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada solusi teknis, tetapi juga memperkuat kohesi sosial dan nilai keberlanjutan. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis dampak Program Eco Bhinneka sebagai model pengabdian masyarakat berbasis kolaborasi lintas iman dan lingkungan di lima wilayah dampingan: Banjarmasin, Bandung, Jakarta Timur, Jambi, dan Banyumas. Program ini menggunakan pendekatan community-based participatory approach yang mengintegrasikan edukasi lingkungan, aksi kolektif, dan penguatan kepemimpinan perempuan muda. Data dikumpulkan melalui analisis situasi awal, pre-test dan post-test, observasi partisipatif, refleksi peserta, serta monitoring dan evaluasi program. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan literasi ekologis peserta, perubahan perilaku pro-lingkungan, serta penguatan kohesi sosial lintas iman melalui aksi bersama seperti bank sampah, penghijauan, eco enzyme, budikdamber, dan kampanye digital. Dari perspektif teoretis, program ini mengintegrasikan environmental peacebuilding, faith-based environmentalism, transformative learning, dan ekofeminisme dalam satu praktik pengabdian yang kontekstual dan transformatif. Eco Bhinneka terbukti efektif dalam menghubungkan keberlanjutan ekologis dengan perdamaian sosial serta pemberdayaan perempuan muda. Model ini berpotensi direplikasi sebagai strategi pengabdian masyarakat yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan dalam konteks multikultural Indonesia. The global ecological crisis and increasing social polarization demand community engagement approaches that move beyond technical solutions and actively strengthen social cohesion and sustainability values. This article analyzes the impact of the Eco Bhinneka Program as a community engagement model based on interfaith collaboration and environmental action across five assisted regions in Indonesia: Banjarmasin, Bandung, East Jakarta, Jambi, and Banyumas. The program adopts a community-based participatory approach that integrates environmental education, collective action, and the empowerment of young women’s leadership. Data were collected through baseline situational analysis, pre- and post-tests, participatory observation, participant reflections, and program monitoring and evaluation. The findings indicate significant improvements in participants’ ecological literacy, pro-environmental behavioral changes, and strengthened interfaith social cohesion through collaborative initiatives such as community waste banks, tree planting, eco-enzyme production, small-scale urban aquaculture (budikdamber), and digital environmental campaigns. Theoretically, the program synthesizes environmental peacebuilding, faith-based environmentalism, transformative learning, and ecofeminism into a contextual and transformative model of community engagement. Eco Bhinneka demonstrates that interfaith environmental collaboration can simultaneously promote ecological sustainability, social peace, and young women’s empowerment. The model holds strong potential for replication as an inclusive and sustainable community engagement strategy in multicultural contexts such as Indonesia.

Abstract

Changing in photoperiod duration may affects the physiology of nocturnal fish such as Pangasianodon hypophthalmus. A study aims to understand the effects of controlled photoperiod towards survival and growth of P. hypophthalmus has been conducted from June to August 2020. There were 3 treatments applied, namely natural photoperiod, 18 hours dark (18D), and 24 hours dark (24D) with 3 replications in each treatment. The rearing tanks used in this study were 100 L circular plastic tanks. In 24D treatment, the tanks were placed under dark colored tarp tent continuously. For the 18D treatment, the tanks were placed under dark tarp tent, but the tent was opened for 6 hours/ day (the tanks were in dark condition for 18 hours/ day), while the control tanks were positioned under natural photoperiod. P. hypophthalmus fingerlings, 6-8 cm TL and 4-5 g BW were used in this study. Thirty fishes were reared in each rearing tank, they were feed with commercial pellets, 2 times/day, at satiation. Fish survival was monitored every day, while samplings for fish growth were conducted weekly for a 8 weeks period. Results indicate that the survival of fish was 100% in each treatment applied. Fish growth, however, shown differences. The growth of fish reared in 24D and 18D was better than that of the control. By the 9th week, the fish in 24D was around 70.71g BW with 19.27 cm TL (daily growth rate 9.35%), while those of the 18D was 69.41 g BW, 18.77 cm TL and 9.29% daily growth rate. The fish reared under natural photoperiod was around 61.95 g BW with 18.19 cm TL and 7.33% of daily growth rate. Data obtained indicate that the application of longer dark is positively improve the growth of P. hypophthalmus.Keywords:Nocturnal FishLight Dark Catfish
