Abstract

Objectives: This research reviews the literature on using word card media to improve the writing skills of grade 2 elementary school students. Method: The research method is a literature review of articles and journals on Google Scholar between 2014 - 2023, totalling 10 articles discussing writing skills and 8 articles about word card media. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive methods. Results: The focus of the research is the effectiveness of using word card media in improving students' writing skills. Studies show that word card media has advantages in terms of ease of use and is effective in attracting students' learning habits so that students' ability and creativity in writing increases. Novelty: The novelty of this research is that the literature review used comes from Google Scholar, so the results of the review can provide information on the level of success in using word card media to improve students' writing skills. This research focuses on how effective word card media is in improving the writing skills of grade 2 elementary school students.

Abstract

(Keterampilan membaca merupakan salah satu keterampilan bahasa yang perlu ditingkatkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari terutama dalam pembelajaran tematik integrative yang menekankan siswa untuk selalu aktif dan kreatif. Karena kurangnya keterampilan membaca dan minat belajar, peneliti mencoba untuk menerapkan model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) dalam proses pembelajaran tematik integratif. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penetitian ini berupa penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan tiga siklus untuk memperoleh hasil yang maksimal. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I sebesar 45,8%, pada siklus II sebesar 62% dan siklus III sebesar 95,8% sehingga dapat dibuktikan bahwa Model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca dan minat belajar siswa kelas II di sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

The study aims to develop learning products in the form of children's literature textbooks viewed from the perspective of multiple intelligences to strengthen character education for grade 2 elementary school students. The procedure in this study adapts the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages of development, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Based on the results of the study, after carrying out the reliability test the next trial stage was the trial of the developed children's literature textbook product. The results of the research/findings show that the use of textbooks for elementary school students that have been developed is in accordance with the target audience, namely grade 2 elementary school students

Abstract

Profil Pelajar Pancasila is a Standar Kompetensi Lulusan (SKL) it is mean a Graduate Competency Standard which refers to the character and competencies that Indonesian students are expected to have. This profile consists of six dimensions: faith, devotion to God Almighty, noble character; global diversity; collaboration; creativity; critical thinking; and independence. This profile reflects the quality of the generation by the National Education Goals and acts as the main reference that directs education policies. Character is the main part that must be built to realize student welfare. However, on the other hand, the results of the National Assessment through the 2022 Character Survey show that the rate of bullying is still quite high, namely 36.31% of students have the potential to experience bullying, which means 1 in 3 children experience bullying at school. This research method is a position paper with a literary study approach, aimed at conveying the author's view or position on a particular topic or issue. In this research, starting with identifying issues or problems related to the Pancasila student profile and its application to overcome bullying in educational units is the first step in this research project. In addition, this research aims to investigate the glocalization process in the profile of Pancasila students by collecting evidence using literary studies.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the problem that could seen in general was how the learning continues to run effectively as learning in the classroom. The arise of discourse and studies on constructivist learning approaches were usually more directed at what and how learning with Vygotsky’s constructivism paradigm had applied. In this regard, it was necessary to apply a significant Independent Learning Curriculum in providing free and comfortable learning opportunities for students to learn calmly, relaxed and happily without stress and pressured by paying attention to their natural talents, without forcing them to study or master a field of knowledge. beyond their hobbies and abilities. The study of what learning with Vygotsky’s constructivism paradigm was usually done by contrasting the constructivist learning approach with other learning approaches (behavioristic). This study aimed to identify the application of project-based learning integrated with Vygotsky's constructivism paradigm in the Independent Learning Curriculum in Elementary Schools. The approach in this journal uses a qualitative approach combined with a literature study method. The results of the study concluded that there were more concrete and valid steps for setting students to implement project-based learning which was integrated with Vygotsky's constructivism paradigm in supporting the Independent Learning Curriculum as follows: 1.) Preparing introduction and problem formulations; 2.) Integration in designing, forming groups, gathering information: brief presentations, problem-solving, collaborative processes between students and teachers, as well as students' independence in completing projects; 3.) Conduct evaluations, by interpreting and making comparisons, concluding & making project reports.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji kebutuhan dasar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara dan mendongeng anak-anak sekolah dasar melalui penggunaan media visual berbasis AI dengan fitur Bing Image Creator. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif deskriptif dan menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi sebagai instrumen penelitiannya. Reduksi data, tampilan data, dan kesimpulan adalah beberapa pendekatan analisis data yang digunakan. Diketahui dari hasil analisis data instrumen kebutuhan awal bahwa siswa masih memiliki kemampuan berbicara yang buruk, mereka takut untuk menyuarakan pendapat mereka di depan kelas, bahwa mereka cemas dan tersendat ketika berbicara. Masalah Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru terus menggunakan strategi pengajaran yang kurang menarik dan kemampuan berbicara siswa tetap buruk karena kurangnya media tambahan. Sebagian besar siswa dan guru mengaku membutuhkan  penambahan media Visual Berbasis AI dengan Fitur Bing Image Creator  sebanyak sempuluh tiga persen dan seratus persen selain itu, penelitian ini dapat berfungsi sebagai analisis kebutuhan  awal penggunaan media visual berbasis AI yang sesuai, khususnya fitur Bing Image Creator, dalam keterampilam  berbicara.

Abstract

Indonesian language is one of the lessons which must be given to the students from elementary school until university. It is because this lesson can't be separated with other knowledges. This research was to analyze media development needs as an action to improve student's writing skill in Indonesian lesson. The research method was descriptive qualitative and the research instruments were teacher's score record, interview, and questionnaire which was given to teachers and students. According to student's pre test, it could be seen the worst score was 65 and the best score was 85 with the average score 66. This problem was because teaching media was not varied, students were not interested in writing, and teaching method was not varied as well. The research result was shown most of the students need a media in comic strip to help them in writing. The research conclusion was comic strip media can be a solution to improve students' writing skill in writing a story.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to explain the beginning reading problems faced by students in grade 1 elementary school and identify the factors that contribute to these problems. This research is qualitative and uses descriptive methods. This research uses observation, interviews and documentation to collect data. The research subjects were teachers and first grade students. Data was collected through observation and interviews. Thematic analysis utilizes triangulation. The results showed that students in grade 1 of elementary school initially experienced reading difficulties because they had difficulty reading consonant combinations, distinguishing almost identical letters, and reading fluently. Difficulty starting early reading is caused by a number of factors. These include poor initial cognitive abilities, students' decreased interest in starting to read, students' lack of motivation to do so, and lack of parental attention. So it can be said that class I students at SDN Bringinbendo 2 still have difficulty starting to read. It is anticipated that this research will have implications for increasing students' early reading challenges.

Abstract

Kajian literatur review ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan suatu kajian glokalisai yang berpengaruh terhadap semua bidang, termasuk dalam hal ini adalah bidang pendidikan dan kebudayaan. Penemuan akan hal ini meninspirasi penulis untuk menghubungkan kajian ini dengan gagasan George Ritzer yang menyatakan bahwa teori glokalisasi itu adalah teori belajar yang memiliki suatu pedoman untuk berfikir secara global lalu bertindak secara lokal sesuai dengan masyarakat lokal. Metode yang digunakan dalam literatur ini menggunakan SLR (Sistematic Literatur Reiew) dan menggunakan teori Glocal Engegement Dimension yang dikemukakan oleh Fay Patel (Konsultan Perguruan Tinggi Internasional). Dalam GED terdapat empat dimensi (intelektual, Emosi, Aksi, dan Moralitas) yang merupakan komponen penting dari kerangka kerja glokalisasi pendidikan. Hasil dari kajian literature ini adalah Fenomena anak usia sekolah yang senang dengan budaya asing menjadikan kewaspadaan untuk mengangkat dan melestarikan budaya lokal agar menjadi bagian integratif dalam pembelajaran bahasa di sekolah, terutama dalam pembelajaran bahasa asing. Sekarang ini, penguasaan bahasa-bahasa lain selain bahasa nasional dan bahasa daerah menjadi suatu keharusan. Budaya lokal merupakan budaya yang dimiliki oleh suatu wilayah dan mencerminkan keadan sosial di wilayahnya. Beberapa hal yang termasuk budaya lokal diantaranya adalah cerita rakyat, lagu daerah, ritual kedaerahan, adat istiadat daerah, dan segala sesuatu yang bersifat kedaerahan. Pada akhirnya, mengintegrasikan budaya lokal dalam pembelajaran bahasa asing diharapkan akan mengimbangi pengaruh budaya asing yang semakin mewabah di masyarakat kita
