Abstract

Background: The high maternal mortality of 2015 is a big problem in Indonesia, which is 305 per 100,000 live births (Indonesian Population Profile Supas Result, 2015). The maternal mortality of 2010-2012 is due to an increase in preeclampsia, eclampsia and other factors, such as social problems, cultures, less education, to economic issues. Methods: The design of the research used is the study of libraries, articles gathered using search engines such as EBSCO, ScienceDirect, ProQuest and Elsevier. The article used in the study was published in 2010-2019. Result: Based on the article collected results that there are several factors related to the preeclampsia in pregnancy and the intervention phase should be done early. These factors are the age of mothers during pregnancy, praitas, double pregnancy, the history of hypertension in the family, preeclampsia history during previous pregnancies and obesity. The cause of the mother's death is actually preventable with an adequate ANC pregnancy test and early detection of the risk of pregnant women. Conclusion: The introduction of a complementary obstetrician is given to mothers at risk of preeclampsia during pregnancy. Further studies are advised to consider the effects on various variables by considering the random effects and changes in the model with the addition of contextual effects in the analysis.

Abstract

Incidence of preeclampsia cases is about 5-8% of all pregnancies. This research aims to analyze articles related the application of nursing model in pregnant with preeclampsia. The design of the research used is the literature review, articles collected using search engines such as EBSCO, Sciencedirect, Proquest and Elsevier. The article used was published in 2010-2019. Based on the article collected obtained the results that diagnose preeclampsia while pregnant can cause anxiety and fear increases during pregnancy. Because of this condition, individuals have increased blood pressure so as to develop a pathological nature. The role of nurses in providing therapy according to this model is to focus on human beings as a biopsicosocial creature as a unified and interconnected whole. Further studies are advised consider the effects on various variables by taking into account the random effects and changes in the model with the addition of contextual effects in the analysis.

Abstract

Kacang panjang merupakan komoditas hortikultura yang tumbuh menjalar dan banyak dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat Indonesia sebagai sayuran yang dikonsumsi sehari hari karena nilai gizi yang cukup tinggi. Namun, hasil produksi tanaman kacang panjang di Indonesia masih rendah dibandingkan dengan negara-negara lain. Penyebab rendahnya produksi tanaman kacang panjang dan penurunannya dari tahun ke tahun meliputi teknik bertanam yang kurang optimal, keterbatasan pengetahuan petani dalam budidaya, penggunaan varietas lokal dengan produktivitas rendah, serta pemupukan yang tidak tepat sehingga produktivitas tanaman kacang panjang menjadi rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi paclobutrazol dan dosis pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang panjang. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Dander, Kecamatan Dander, Kabupaten Bojonegoro, Jawa Timur, dari Desember 2023 hingga Maret 2024. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (RPT) dengan 2 faktor yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi paclobutrazol (P) dengan 4 tingkat perlakuan: 0 ppm (P0), 125 ppm (P1), 150 ppm (P2), dan 175 ppm (P3). Sedangkan faktor kedua adalah dosis pupuk NPK (N) dengan 4 tingkat perlakuan: 300 kg/ha (N1), 350 kg/ha (N2), 400 kg/ha (N3), dan 450 kg/ha (N4). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi paclobutrazol berpengaruh signifikan terhadap panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, umur muncul bunga, jumlah bunga, berat polong total per tanaman, berat polong total per petak, berat polong per hektar, diameter polong, dan daya simpan. Sementara itu, dosis pupuk NPK berpengaruh signifikan terhadap panjang tanaman pada 42-63 HST, jumlah daun pada 21 HST, 35 HST, dan 42 HST dan diameter polong. Interaksi antara konsentrasi paclobutrazol dan dosis pupuk NPK yang paling optimal terjadi pada perlakuan dengan konsentrasi paclobutrazol 150 ppm dan dosis pupuk NPK 450 kg/ha, yang dapat meningkatkan diameter polong.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of concentrations of Paklobutrazol and SP-36 fertilizer on the growth of peanut plants (Arachis hypogaea L.). This research was carried out in October 2023 – January 2024 at the Dsn Baban Barat Land in Blega Bangkalan, East Java. This research is a factorial experiment which was prepared using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 replications. The first factor is the provision of Paklobutrazol ZPT and the second factor is using SP-36 fertilizer Factor I: Paclobutrazol (P) concentration which consists of 4 levels: P0 = 0 ppm, P1 = 100 ppm, P2 = 200 ppm, P3 = 300 ppm and Fakor II = SP-36 fertilizer dose consisting of 3 levels: S0 = 150 kg/ha, S1 = 200 kg/ha, S2 = 250 kg/ha. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves (strands), age at flower emergence, number of pods planted, number of filled and empty pods, weight of pods planted, weight of seeds planted. The research results showed that the Paklobutrazol concentration treatment gave a positive response to the specified parameters, including plant height, number of leaves (strands), age at flower emergence, number of pods planted, number of filled and empty pods, weight of pods planted, weight of seeds planted. The highest average yield of pod weight per plant was in the P1 concentration treatment, namely 100 ppm (33.78 gr). The Paklobutrazol concentration treatment also produced a very significant effect on seed weight per plant. The highest was in the P1 concentration treatment, namely 100 ppm 28.50 gr. The SP-36 fertilizer dose treatment had a significant effect on the number of pods, the weight of the pods planted and the weight of the seeds planted. However, the parameters of plant height, number of leaves (strands), age at flower emergence, number of filled and empty pods, had no real influence. The results of the combined data analysis from both gave a positive response to observations of the number of pods, the weight of the pods planted and the weight of the seeds planted.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of planting media composition and liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) concentration from tofu wastewater on the growth and yield of pagoda mustard greens using the verticulture method. The research was conducted in Gunung Sekar, Sampang, East Java, from December 2023 to February 2024. A factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) was used with two factors and three replications. The first factor was planting media composition (soil, compost, goat manure) in four ratios: M0 (1:1:1), M1 (1:1:2), M2 (1:2:3), and M3 (2:1:1). The second factor was LOF concentration (0%, 10%, 20%, 30%). Data were analyzed using ANOVA and followed by the Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) test at a 5% significance level. Results showed that the combination of soil+compost+goat manure (1:1:2) with 10% LOF produced the highest fresh weight. Quadratic regression analysis revealed the relationship between tofu wastewater concentration and plant weight (Y = -112.5x² + 29.028x + 23.903, R² = 0.905), with an optimal concentration of 13%.

Abstract

Each factor consists of 4 levels. The parameters observed include fruit weight per plant, fruitidiameter, fruittflesh thicknessaandisweetness level.iData will be analyzed using ANOVA. Theiresults oftthe studyiconcluded thatithe single factoriof potassium fertilizer and PSB doses significantly affected the fruit diameter and fruit flesh thickness. The interaction of potassium fertilizer and PSB administration significantly affected the fruitpweight per-plant andithe level of-sweetness. Thisistudy provides information for melon farmers to manage fertilization and PSB applications efficiently, so as to increase productivity.

Abstract

Microgreens are mini vegetable plants with high nutrition that are managed in a controlled growing environment. Management of microgreens requires sufficient water, nutrients, sunlight, planting media and air. The research aims to obtain the nutrient watering materials and media types for sunflower microgreens' growth. This research was carried out in Sumbang Bojonegoro village in October-December 2021. This research was prepared in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors, namely 2 levels of nutrient watering material, water (P1) and rice-washing water (P2), while 3 levels of planting media: husk charcoal (M1), sand (M2) and cocopeat (M3). The parameters observed were the percentage of germination, germination rate, number of normal and abnormal sprouts, sprout length, cotyledon width, sprout moisture content, sprout wet weight, and sprout dry weight. The observation data was analyzed used analysis of variance (ANOVA), with a further Least Significant Difference (LSD) test is carried out at a test level of 5%. Phytochemical tests for microgreens include chlorophyll, vitamin C and protein levels. The results showed that applying water and rice-washing water were not significantly different in terms of % germination and germination rate, while cocopeat media was more effective in terms of % germination, number of normal sprouts, % water content, wet weight of microgreens, length of sprouts and width of cotyledons. Highest phytochemical content % chlorophyll 23.60 mg/L (water+sand media); % Vitamin C content 59.40 mg/100g (water + husk charcoal media) and % protein content 3.47% (rice-washing water + sand media). Keywords: Planting media, rice-washing water, microgreens, phytochemical, watering

Abstract

Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) is rich in nutrients and vitamins, an is popular for fresh salads and various processed foods. The objective of this work is to study the effects of branch pruning and NPK fertilizer dose on the growth and yield of baby cucumber in order to solve the decrease in cucumber production. The research was executed in Dander Village, Bojonegoro Regency, East Java. The experiment was performed according to a Randomized Block Design with two factors. The first factor is branch pruning, and the second factor is the dose of NPK fertilizer. Branch pruning was carried out in four ways: no pruning, pruning branches at nodes 1–3, nodes 1–4, and nodes 1–5. The NPK fertilizer dose was also applied at four levels: 800, 900, 1,000, and 1,100 kg/ha. The observed parameters included plant length, number of leaves, time to female flower appearance, fruit length, number of fruits per plant, total fruit weight per plant, and fruit weight per hectare. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and tested with HSD at 5%. The results showed that the combination of no pruning and the application of 1,100 kg/ha NPK fertilizer produced the best results in terms of fruit weight per hectare.   Keywords: Baby cucumber, Branch pruning, Harvest, Macro-nutrients, Photosynthate translocation.
