Abstract

This study aims to describe the mathematical creative thinking skills of SMPN 2 Meral students on the material of flat side space. This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used is in the form of a written test in the form of questions about the material for building flat sides, documentation, and interviews. This study uses qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques, namely: (1) data reduction; (2) triangulation of data; (3) analyzing the results of written tests and interviews; (4) Drawing conclusions. This research focuses on 4 aspects, namely: (1) Fluency; (2) Flexibility; (3) Elaboration (elaboration); and (4) Authenticity (originality). The results of this study indicate that students' creativity in answering fluency indicator questions is 66.6% which is included in the creative category, 83.3% flexibility indicator questions which are very creative, and elaboration indicator questions are 41.6 % which is categorized as quite creative, 79.1% of originality indicators are included in the creative category, and the average percentage of creative thinking for class IX students at SMPN 2 Meral is 67.65% in the creative category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa SMAN 1 Enok pada materi barisan & deret aritmatika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa tes tertulis berupa soal tentang materi barisan & deret aritmatika, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data secara deskriptif kualitataif, yaitu: (1) Redukasi data; (2) Penyajian data; (3) Penarikan kesimpulan. Dalam penelitian ini indikator yang ditelitia terdiri atas 4 yaitu: (1) fluency; (2) flexibility; (3) elaboration; dan (4) originality. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif untuk masing-masing indikator, menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata terendah pada indikator elaboration sebesar 13%, dan rata-rata tertinggi yaitu pada indikator flexibility sebesar 44%. Kemudian untuk indokator indikator kelancaran fluency dan keaslian originality diperoleh rata-rata yang kurang lebih sama, yaitu secara berurutan sebesar 30% dan 29%. Persentase rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Enok secara keseluruhan yaitu sebesar 29%, yang menunjukan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa masih rendah.

Abstract

This research is a development research that aims to produce learning tools with Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. Learning tools developed in the form of Student Worksheets (LKPD). Mathematical material used in this study is social arithmetic material. This study uses an R & D development method with a 4-D model which has several stages, namely (1) Define , (2) Design , (3) DevelopĀ  , (3) Disseminate . The instrument for collecting research data was in the form of a student worksheet validation sheet which was validated by 2 lecturers of Mathematics Education FKIP UIR and 2 teachers of mathematics studies at SMPN 1 Siak Kecil and student response questionnaire sheets. The data collection technique used is the validity test of the student worksheets and the practicality test of the student worksheets. The analysis technique used is the validity technique and the practicality technique. From the results of the study, the results of the validation of the student worksheets were 92.44% with a very valid validation level. And the results of the practicality of student worksheets are 87.84% with a very practical level of practicality. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the development of Student Worksheets with the Problem Based LearningĀ  (PBL) model on social arithmetic material in class VII SMP/MTs is very valid, very practical and suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Website adalah kumpulan semua halaman web yang fungsinya untuk menampilkan berbagai informasi dalam bentuk tulisan, gambar dan suara dari sebuah domain yang terbentuk dalam suatu rangkaian yang saling terkait. Contoh pemanfaatan teknologi website di era sekarang adalah Sistem Informasi Absensi Berbasis Website . Absensi merupakan suatu hal yang penting dalam sebuah instansi pemerintah . Dengan sistem absensi yang baik maka diharapkan dapat membantu dalam mengendalikan proses penyelesaian pekerjaan sehingga didapatkan hasil yang maksimal sesuai dan dengan tujuan yang ditetapkan. Sistem absensi yang dilakukan secara manual kurang efisien dalam pengelolaan data absensi jika masih manual contoh saat harus mencari data yang tempat penyimpanannya masih dalam buku, akibatnya arsip yang tersimpan menumpuk dan sulit dalam pencarian data pegawai, nama dan daftar hadir setiap akhir bulan untuk memecahkan permasalahan tersebut, maka di buatlah sistem informasi absensi bebasis website dengan di buatnya website absensi, absensi menjadi lebih efisien, rekap bulanan absensi juga menjadi lebih cepat. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak ini yaitu dengan menggunakan metode waterfall

Abstract

This research aims to describe the challenges of junior high school mathematics teachers in Pekanbaru in preparing to implement the independent curriculum. This type of research is a mixture of quantitative and qualitative research. The subjects of this research were 10 teachers from 5 schools in Pekanbaru. Data was collected using interviews, FGD, and questionnaires. Based on the results of data analysis, the challenges for mathematics teachers in preparing an independent curriculum are as follows. First, training and socialization have not been able to provide complete understanding for teachers in preparing the Independent Curriculum. Second, teachers try to overcome difficulties in planning learning in the Independent Curriculum. Third, the implementation of learning is not appropriate and the facilities and infrastructure at school are not yet supportive, coupled with differences in the cognitive background of students. Fourth, teachers need to improve their understanding completely regarding the system for assessing and reporting learning outcomes in the Independent Curriculum. Then, if we trace it based on the questionnaire, we can conclude that the preparation for implementing the Independent Curriculum by junior high school mathematics teachers in Pekanbaru, even though they are still experiencing various challenges, is in the Good category (70% < score < 84%.), with details, 5 teachers are in the adequate category while 5 people are in the Good category.

Abstract

Online learning as an alternative that can be applied during the Covid-19 period. For the sake of smooth online learning, teachers need to make innovations so that the concepts of abstract mathematics learning are easily understood by students. One alternative is the use of technology as a learning medium to help solve mathematical problems using Algebrator software. This study aims to describe the ability of students to use Algebrator Software on number material as an alternative to online learning based on their mastery in using Algebrator. This research qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach. The research subjects were 5 class VII students who were randomly selected. The results of this study indicate that the ability of students to use Algebrator Software on number material as an alternative to online learning has been sufficiently mastered based on the results of the tests given and supported by the results of interviews. It is hoped that in the future students can improve their ability to master technology in mathematics learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the ability of students' creative thinking in learning mathematics in regards to their behavior in class VIII. This is a descriptive qualitative research. Written tests and questionnaire procedures were utilized to gather data. A number of data analysis methods have been employed in this research: (1) data collecting; (2) data reduction; (3) data presentation; and (4) conclusion drawing. This study concentrated on four elements: (1) fluency; (2) flexibility; (3) originality; and (4) elaboration. According to the findings of this research, the creative thinking ability of grade VIII students is included as part of the creative category with an average percentage of 63.75%. While the attitude of grade VIII pupils is regarded as good, with an average percentage of 73.10%. In the creative thinking ability as good, students with a positive attitude have a creative thinking rate of 63.19%. Overall, students with very good and good attitudes have creative thinking ability.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih banyaknya guru yang mengalami kendala dalam kenaikan penilaian angka kredit (PAK). Salah satu yang menjadi kendalanya adalah, terhambatnya para guru pada penilaian dokumen karya ilmiah. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan Pelatihan dan Workshop penelitian tindakan kelas kepada guru-guru di SMA Negeri 3 Siak Hulu, Jl. Purwosari, Desa pandau Jaya, Kecamatan Siak Hulu, Kabupaten Kampar, Riau. Dengan diberikanya workshop dan pelatihan ini, para guru dapat menulis proposal dan laporan penelitian tindakan kelas untuk memenuhi salah satu syarat PAK. Hasil dari kegiatan PkM ini adalah: secara keseluruhan guru-guru memiliki persepsi yang baik terhadap kegiatan yang dilakasankan, antusias dalam mengikuti acara tahap-demi tahap serta perlu diadakan kembali kegiatan serupa dengan materi yang berbeda. Para guru berharap bahwa kegiatan yang telah dilakukan dapat menjadi inspirasi bagi para guru untuk bertekad memperbaiki proses pembelajaran yang lebih baik. Sehingga efek jangka panjangnya adalah adanya perbaikan pada prestasi belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran fire-up terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada konsep sistem pencernaan manusia dikelas VIII SMPN 28 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil bulan September 2013. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen pretest-posttest control group design .Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII1 dan VIII2 dengan jumlah siswa masing-masing 22 dan 23 siswa, yang diambil dengan teknik total sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa t-test apabila data berdistribusi normal dan homogen dan U Mann-Whitney apabila data tidak berdistribusi normal atau tidak homogen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pretest, posttest, dan lembar aktivitas guru dan siswa. Rerata N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen 0,53 termasuk kategori sedang, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol 0,25 termasuk kategori rendah. Berdasarkan dari hasil uji-t maka diperoleh data yang berbeda signifikan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran fire-up dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada konsep sistem pencernaan manusia dikelas VIII SMPN 28 Pekanbaru tahun ajaran 2013/2014.

Abstract

Current developments are increasing rapidly which has an impact on education. Improving the quality of learning requires teachers and students to understand technology. Teaching materials in the form of electronic modules (e-modules) are one form or influence of technology on the world of education. The aim of this research is to produce e-module teaching materials for mathematics learning assisted by GeoGebra on flat-sided geometric material for class VIII SMP that are valid and practical. The type of research used is development research using the ADDIE model. The instruments used are validation and practical instruments (teacher and student response questionnaires). The research results show that (1) the average assessment of e-modules by material experts is 79.36% in the valid category and the average assessment by media experts is 81.58% in the valid category. (2) The average practicality of the teacher response questionnaire assessment e-module was 90.28% in the very practical category and the student response questionnaire assessment obtained an average of 80.96% in the practical category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the e-module assisted by the GeoGebra software developed is valid and very practical.
