Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa kondisi mahasiswa dalam keinginan membuka usaha ditinjau dari aspek motivasi, persepsi dan lingkungan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis data kuantitatif dimana data diperoleh dari sumber data primer yang berasal dari pengumpulan data kuesioner.  Kuesioner diberikan kepada responden untuk menjawab pertanyaan yang sudah disediakan. Responden penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa yang masih aktif di perguruan tinggi yang berada diwilayah Yogyakarta dan luar Yogyakarta. Data yang terkumpul dianalisa menggunakan program SPSS. Variabel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari variable bebas dan variable terikat. Independent Variable (variable bebas)  nya yang terdiri dari : motivasi (X1), persepsi X2) dan Lingkungan social (X3). Sedangkan Dependent Variabel (variable terikatnya) berupa Keinginan membuka usaha.(Y). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan variabel motivasi dan lingkungan social memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap kondisi mahasiswa dalam keinginannya membuka sebuah usaha. Motivasi memiliki pengaruh secara simultan terhadap variable berwirausaha mahasiswa. Dengan motivasi yang dimiliki dalam berwirausaha menjadikan mahasiswa mandiri (dapat melakukan banyak hal dan dapat membiayai kebutuhannya sendiri). Lingkungan social memiliki andil dalam mempengaruhi perkembangan pola pikir dan kebiasaan individu yang berada didalamnya sedangkan variabel persepsi tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat/ keinginan dalam berwirausaha . Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa tetap bisa memiliki keinginan untuk melakukan usaha meskipun pemahaman / persepsi terkait kewirausahaan masih kurang.

Abstract

In March 2020, direct learning activities were transferred online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. There are many alternative technology-based learning media used for online learning systems. However, the use of this media has not been able to increase students' motivation to learn mathematics. One of the media that can be used as an alternative learning media during this pandemic is a website. The purpose of this study was to find out how to use the website as a learning media in the midst of this pandemic, and to determine student learning motivation. This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach, the subjects in this study were 25 students of grade 8 and 9 Junior High School. The results of this study were that many students agreed with the use of websites as alternative learning media during this pandemic and students' high motivation to learn mathematics when using the website with an average percentage of 66,3%. From this research, it can be concluded that the website can be an alternative media for learning mathematics in the midst of this pandemic because the website has various advantages that can also increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

This research is important to find out how students' creative thinking skills are in understanding the basic teaching materials of geometry. We can use this knowledge to design or develop more innovative and effective learning methods. If a student learns more about his ability to understand and apply the basic concepts of geometry, it will enable him to develop his ability further. The study aims to identify and analyze the level of students' creative geometric thinking skills on the geometrical material. The research uses qualitative descriptive methods, with data collection through tests, evaluation sections, and interviews. The research sample was taken from students in a mathematics study program at a private university in Riau Province. The tests are given to measure students' mathematical creative thinking skills in the geometry material, while the assessment and interview sections are used to gain a deeper understanding of how students use their creativity in understanding and applying the concepts of geometry so that the level of creativity can be identified. We also use interviews to validate the results of student tests. The results show that students' creative thinking skills are at the stage of identifying, describing, and understanding the basics of geometry, such as point matter, lines, and angles. Students have varying levels of understanding of visualization, analysis, and informal. Nevertheless, students have demonstrated creative thinking skills in analyzing the images given, especially on the subject where students refer to indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Although not entirely original, they are able to combine existing concepts in an informative and detailed manner. The explanations provided in the question's answer offer significant and pertinent details about the concepts of points, lines, and angles, highlighting their interrelatedness. Students can also elucidate the fundamental definitions of each concept, applying them to both visual aids and supporting evidence. Implications of this research are the development of learning methods and strategies, increased student understanding and creativity in applying concepts of geometry and providing insight into how best to evaluate and evaluate creative thinking skills in a geometric context. Penelitian ini penting untuk mengetahui bagaimana keterampilan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa dalam memahami materi dasar geometri. Pengetahuan ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk merancang atau mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan efektif. Jika mahasiswa mengetahui lebih banyak tentang kemampuannya dalam memahami dan menerapkan konsep materi dasar geometri, maka memungkinkan mahasiswa untuk dapat mengembangkan kamampuannya lebih jauh lagi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis tingkat keterampilan berpikir kreatif geometris mahasiswa pada materi geometri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriftif kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui tes, rubrik penilaian dan wawancara. Sampel penelitian diambil dari mahasiswa program studi matematika di sebuah universitas swasta di Provinsi Riau. Tes diberikan untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis mahasiswa dalam materi geometri, sementara rubrik penilaian dan wawancara digunakan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang bagaimana mahasiswa menggunakan kreativitas mereka dalam memahami dan menerapkan konsep geometri, sehingga tingkat kreatifitas dapat diidentifikasi. Wawancara juga digunakan untuk menguatkan hasil tes mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa berada pada tahap mengidentifikasi, menggambarkan, dan memahami dasar-dasar geometri seperti: materi titik, garis, dan sudut. Mahasiswa mampu mencapai tingkat pemahaman visualisasi, analisis, dan informal. Meskipun demikian, mahasiswa telah menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam menganalisis gambar-gambar yang diberikan, terutama pada soal yang mendosong mahasiswa menujukkan indikator fluency, flexibility, originality, dan elaboration. Walaupun tidak sepenuhnya orisinal, mereka mampu menggabungkan konsep-konsep yang ada dengan cara yang informatif dan rinci. Penjelasan yang dituliskan dalam menjawab soal memberikan informasi yang berarti dan relevan tentang konsep titik, garis, dan sudut, sehingga dapat dimaknai ketiga konsep ini saling terkait satu sama lain. Mahasiswa juga dapat menjelaskan ketiga konsep tersebut secara detail sehingga definisi dasar masing-masing konsep dapat dijelaskan dan dapat diaplikasikan baik dalam gambar maupun pembuktian. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah pengembangan metode dan strategi pembelajaran, peningkatan pemahaman dan kreatifitas mahasiswa dalam menerapkan konsep-konsep geometri, dan memberikan wawasan tentang cara terbaik untuk menilai dan mengevaluasi keterampilan berpikir kreatif dalam konteks geometri.

Abstract

Along with the times, cultural values among the community, including students, are fading. An alternative that can be done is to preserve culture and reintroduce it through the formal education curriculum. So it is necessary to conduct this research with the aim of describing the fundamental mathematical concepts contained in Siak songket woven fabrics. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. The respondents in this study are the owner of the Siak weaving industry, Mrs. Atun permai. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is carried out through 4 stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The results of this study show that the motif of Siak songket woven fabric comes from animals, plants, and celestial bodies and contains meanings, philosophies and mathematical ideas such as geometric transformations, units of time and social arithmetic concepts. Several mathematical concepts contained in Siak sticky woven fabric can be applied to contextual mathematics learning to make it easier to understand mathematical concepts and associate culture into mathematics learning.

Abstract

This service activity is motivated by the problem that some teachers still have in writing reports and creating classroom action research (PTK) articles which have been carried out by the teachers themselves. For this reason, this community service activity needs to be carried out with the aim of providing training related to writing reports on the results of classroom action research and writing in the form of scientific publication articles to high school teachers, especially at SMA Negeri 3 Siak Hulu, Kampar Regency Jl. Purwosari, Pandau Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency, Riau. It is hoped that this training will help teachers in preparing final reports on classroom action research and also publishing them in the form of scientific articles in accredited national journals. Activity methods include training, workshops and simulations. The results of these PkM activities are that teachers have good perceptions and responses to the implementation of activities. The teachers are enthusiastic and have a strong desire to write in the hope that their articles can be accepted and published in accredited national journals

Abstract

Literasi numerasi di Indonesia perlu diperhatikan, karena masih rendah seperti yang diungkapkan dalam laporan Program for International Student Assessment (PISA). Bahkan dalam konteks matematika termasuk materi bangun ruang prisma dan limas. Hal tersebut, disebabkan karena peserta didik masih banyak yang malas memahami materi dan menganggap membaca buku susah untuk menemukan konteks matematika sehingga minat belajar mereka menurun dan literasi numerasi menurun. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan menerapkan kegiatan pembelajaran yang dapat merangsang keingintahuan dan minat peserta didik mampu meningkatkan literasi numerasi peserta didik materi bangun ruang prisma dan limas dengan pengembangan Komik Matematika memenuhi valid, praktis dan efektif. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Kemudian, memperoleh hasil validasi dianalisis menggunakan rumus skala Likert, dengan kepraktisan berdasarkan hasil angket respon guru dan angket respon peserta didik, dan efektivitas dari angket respon peserta didik serta hasil tes literasi numerasi. Hasil uji validasi media komik matematika adalah 82,4% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji kepraktisan media komik matematika diperoleh nilai sebesar 95% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Sedangkan, hasil uji keefektifan media komik matematika diperoleh nilai sebesar 96,6 % dengan kategori sangat efektif serta hasil persentase skor literasi numerasi 87,56% dengan kategori tinggi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII.2 SMPN 38 Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 25 peserta didik. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa media komik matematika untuk meningkatkan literasi numerasi pada materi bangun ruang prisma dan limas yang valid, praktis dan efektif.

Abstract

Currently, the learning process is still done online. This is a challenge for teachers to continue to apply problem-solving skills in the mathematics learning process. One of the appropriate mathematics materials to measure students' problem-solving abilities is geometry. Geometry material is often an obstacle for students because geometry material is abstract. Therefore, teachers must analyze students' problem-solving skills during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially geometry material. The purpose of this study was to describe students' problem-solving ability in answering geometry questions given by the teacher. This study uses descriptive qualitative research because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The subjects used were 20 students of grade VIII from one of the schools in Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique. The instruments used are test instruments, interviews, and documentation of student answers. Data analysis used was descriptive qualitative method referring to the Polya error indicator. The results of this study indicate that students' problem-solving abilities are still relatively low. This can be seen from some students experiencing difficulties solving the given geometry problems. So that teachers must be able to improve students' problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

Professional teachers must master pedagogical and technological content knowledge (TPCK) to innovate in teaching. However, many teachers struggle to integrate technology effectively. Preparing preservice teachers with these skills is essential for their readiness in the workforce. This study analyzes the ability of preservice mathematics teachers to integrate technology into pedagogical content knowledge when planning mathematics lessons. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects were 23 fifth-semester preservice mathematics teachers from Universitas Islam Riau. TPCK analysis was conducted on their lesson planning documents, focusing on three aspects: Technological Knowledge (TK), Technological Content Knowledge (TCK), and Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK). Data analysis followed four stages: data collection, reduction, presentation, and verification. Findings indicate that preservice teachers demonstrated very good competency in technological knowledge (TK) when designing learning plans. Their ability to integrate technology with subject content (TCK) was rated as good. Similarly, their understanding of using technology in pedagogy (TPK) was also classified as good. These results suggest that preservice mathematics teachers are capable of integrating technology into pedagogical content knowledge effectively, though there is room for improvement in refining their strategies. Preservice teachers exhibit good competence in TPCK when designing mathematics lesson plans, highlighting their readiness to apply technology in future teaching. Further research should explore strategies to enhance their technological integration skills in practical teaching settings.

Abstract

This article describes the technological literacy abilities of student using the wingeom application on the material for building curved side rooms at SMPN 37 Pekanbaru. This research uses descriptive research methods with a quantitative approach. The object of this study is the technological literacy ability of students using the Wingeom application, with the subject of research as many as 90 grade IX students of SMPN 37 Pekanbaru. The data from the study were analyzed using SPSS and described the analysis of students' technological literacy skills using the Wingeom application. Based on the results of the study, it shows that most students have the ability to use computers and utilize the internet, be creative in presenting group materials using digital media, the ability to participate in digital spaces, communicate through digital technology media, and understand security when exploring, creating, and collaborating with digital technology after the application of the Wingeom application to the curved side room building material.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the readiness of elementary school teachers in implementing the PBL (problem based learning) learning model in Kepenghuluan Pasir Limau Kapas. This study was conducted in Kepenghuluan Pasir Limau Kapas.The process of data collection and data collection is carried out online via google form using a questionnaire and using a quantitative descriptive research method. The researcher used non-probability sampling as a sample, the number of samples was 20 teachers. The analysis of this research used descriptive percentage analysis. The results of the study are that teachers are ready to implement the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model in Kepenghuluan Pasir Limau Kapas in the form of (1). Understanding the characteristics of the learning model. (2). Readiness of the learning plan. (3). Implementation of learning. (4). Facilities and infrastructure.
