Abstract

Development phantoms with various sizes reflecting the variation among patients to investigate the accuracy size-specific dose estimate (SSDE)is essential. The aim of this work was to develop in-house phantoms from polyester resin (PR) and methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) for various diameters and investigate the CT numbers of the phantoms with various tube voltages and reconstructed field of views (FOV). In-house phantoms with diameters of 8, 16, 24, and 32 cm were developed. The phantoms were made from the PR and MEKP materials. The composition of MEKP was 0.3 wt% and PR was 99.7%. The phantoms were scanned with a Siemens SOMATOM Emotion 6 CT scanner with various tube voltage (i.e. 80, 110, and 130 kVp), and various field of views (FOVs) (i.e. 35, 40, 45, 50 cm). CT numbersof the phantoms for various diameters, tube voltages and FOVs were investigated. It was found that the CT number was in range of 86 HU to 147 HU. The CT number increased with the increases of diameter and tube voltage. However, the CT number was independent with the FOV. The in-house phantom based on PR andMEKP with various diameters from 8 cm to 32 cm have been successfully developed. The CT numbers of the phantoms depend on diameter and tube voltage,but do not depend with the FOV.

Abstract

The A thin layer of titanium dioxidehas been deposited using the DC-Sputtering method at various time of deposition of 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, 120 minutes and 150 minutes. This study aims to grow a layer of TiO2 on the surface of stainless steel 316L with a certain time variation to determine the characterization of the microstructure, hardness, and properties of the coating to the water contact angle. The XRD test results show that the titanium dioxide (TiO2) thin layer has a TiO2-monoclinicstructure corresponding to the planes (133), (133), (220), (133) and (133), while the crystallite size can be determined using Debye-scherrer Equation were ~14.34318 nm, ~17.09422 nm, ~18.94568 nm, ~14.04389 nm, and ~7.90887 nm, respectively. The hardness value was obtained through the Vickers Hardness Test and it is known that the TiO2 layer can increase the hardness value by ~48.175% with a maximum hardness value of 170.105 VHN at a deposition time of 90 minutes. Observations from the contact angle test can be seen that the TiO2 layer is hydrophilic.

Abstract

Bolus is a material that equal with the tissue and functions to increase the dose radiation in surface area in external radiotherapy, which uses electron beam. In this research, bolus was made using silicone rubber (SR) material, which was mixed with silicacomposites material. The bolus with a dimension of 12 x 12 x 0,5 cm3 was successfully made with a various amount of silica composite (2%, 4%, 6%). Bolus was then characterized using linear accelerator (LINAC) with an electron beam for percentage of surface dose (PSD) and using CT-Scan to measurement relative electron density (RED). The energy of electron beam used in this research was5 and 7 MeV. The result shows that RED value increased with increasing the amount of silica composite with higher RED value amounted to 1.186. PSD value increased with increasing the amount of silica composite, higher PSD value of energy in 5 and 7 MeV amounted 106.82% and 106.82% and 100.34%, respectively. The result certified that the silica composite material can increase the percentage of surface dose on electron beam radiotherapy.

Abstract

Police efforts in achieving the educational goals has not come true as well. Jakarta Police SPN even further behind the other Police-Police found in Indonesia. Indicators not maximal achievement of educational goals Police use them visible on the lower end of the exam results Education and Formation (Diktuk) Police Officer Polda Metro Jaya on the NES. The role of educators is expected to print the candidates NCO Professional Police so that they can run their police duties properly in accordance with the ethics of the police which is based on the Tribrata. The method used in this research is the method of juridical sociological (empirical). The establishment of the Police Officer Education is an education to establish and equip students to be members of the police who have the knowledge, skills, abilities, commendable attitude and behavior in the context of carrying out police duties that come from the general public with the lowest level of high school graduates who have passed the various required tests such as administration and others.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan sintesis dan deposisi ZnO doping Al mengunakan metode sol-gel teknik spray coating. Lapisan tipis ZnO dengan variasi doping Al diuji menggunakan UV-Vis Spestroscopy. Pengaruh penambahan doping Al pada lapisan tipis ZnO mempengaruhi pergeseran (Shift Blue) pada panjang gelombang 360 nm–380 nm, nilai transmitansi lapisan tipis pada sinar tampak dengan rentang 64%-96% dan lapisan tipis ZnO tanpa doping nilai transmitansi pada sinar tampak rata-rata lebih dari 90%. Energi celah pita optik Eg meningkat seiring dengan meningkatnya konsentrasi doping dari 0%, 2% dan 4% dengan nilai Eg 3,102 3,115 eV dan 3,118 eV.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini lapisan tipis TiO2, ZnO, TiO2:ZnO, dengan dan tanpa lapisan penyangga  telah berhasil di deposisi di atas subtrat kaca menggunakan metode sol-gel dengan teknik spray coating. Sifat optik lapisan tipis TiO2, ZnO, TiO2:ZnO, dengan dan tanpa lapisan penyangga  dikarakterisasi dengan menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa kualitas lapisan tipis TiO2:ZnO yang ditumbukan di atas subtrat kaca lebih baik dari pada lapisan tipis TiO2 dan lapisan tipis yang ditumbuhkan pada lapisan penyangga ZnO lebih baik daripada lapisan tipis yang ditumbuhkan langsung pada substrat kaca. Selain itu dengan adanya lapisan penyangga dapat memperkecil celah pita energi lapisan tipis. Besarnya celah pita energi lapisan tipis  TiO2, ZnO, TiO2:ZnO, ZnO/TiO2, ZnO/TiO2:ZnO masing masing secara berturut-turut adalah 3,2 eV; 3,12 eV; 3,08 eV; 3,04 eV dan 3,0 eV.

Abstract

Zinc oxide (ZnO) has attracted the attention of researchers as a photocatalyst material, because ZnO has a wide direct band gap (3.37 eV) and is a semiconductor material with a large excitation binding energy (60 meV). ZnO is a photocatalyst that has many advantages, namely cheap, non-toxic, and theoretically very active under UV irradiation. The most interesting thing about ZnO semiconductor compared to other semiconductors is that ZnO can absorb most of the solar spectrum. However, there is a weakness of the ZnO semiconductor, namely the very fast recombination of charge carriers and the ZnO semiconductor has a low efficiency in the visible region which causes the ZnO semiconductor to have a wide band gap. that is the weakness of ZnO. it is necessary to choose the right method to overcome this deficiency of ZnO. one way that can be done is to increase the photocatalytic ability of zinc oxide, it is necessary to develop it in the manufacture of thin films. The method used in the manufacture of Thin Film is using the sol-gel spray coating method. the first stage is through the manufacture of ZnO precursors by dissolving zinc acetate dehydrate with isopropanol solvent through stirring. then the second stage by adding Monoethanolamine. This stirring lasted for 30 minutes at a temperature of 70°C, the precursor concentration was prepared with three different concentrations which included concentrations of 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 M. ZnO precursor deposited on the substrate glass is blown at 400 °C. Optical properties are carried out by recording the transmittance and absorbance which are affected by increasing concentrations. The optical transmission spectra show that the transmission increases with decreasing concentration and the maximum transmission in the visible region is about 90% for ZnO thin films prepared with 0.1 M. The optical band gap value produced by the thin film of 0.1 M precursor concentration resulted in an energy band gap of 3.11 eV; thin films of 0.3 M precursor concentration produced an energy band gap of 3.07 eV; and thin film of 0.5M precursor concentration produced an energy band gap of 3.06 eV.©2022 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. Abstract

Material seng oksida (ZnO) adalah salah satu semikonduktor oksida dengan celah pita energi 3,2 eV yang bersifat fotokatalis dapat digunakan untuk mendegradasi polutan berwarna seperti metylene blue (MB). Pada penelitian ini telah berhasil dideposisi lapisan tipis ZnO di atas substrat kaca dengan metode sol-gel teknik penyemprotan/spray coating. Gel ZnO 0,5 M disintesis dengan melarutkan Zinc acetate dehydrate ke dalam larutan isopropanol dan monoethanolamine pada temperatur ruang dengan perbandingan molar dari MEA dan ZnAc yaitu 1:1. Kemudian larutan diaduk menggunakan pengaduk magnetik pada temperatur 70oC selama 30 menit hingga didapatkan gel ZnO yang jernih dan homogen. Gel ZnO diletakkan pada spray hole dan disemprotkan pada substrat kaca yang telah dipanasi sampai temperatur 250oC. Lapisan hasil penyemprotan selanjutnya di sintering pada temperatur 400oC selama 1 jam. Hasil deposisi lapisan ZnO bersifat transparan dengan nilai transmitansi sebesar 71,4% dan semakin menurun dengan penurunan panjang gelombang yang dikenakan pada lapisan. Hasil pengujian komposisi dengan energy dispersive of X-Ray (EDX) menunjukkan bahwa komposisi seng (Zn) lebih sedikit daripada oksigen (O) dengan perbandingan Zn:O = 46,13% : 53,87%. Hasil uji citra Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) menunjukkan lapisan tipis ZnO mempunyai permukaan yang halus dan homogen dengan ukuran grain sebesar 57 nm dan ketebalan lapisan sebesar 204 nm. Hasil uji ultra violet visibel (UV Vis) spectrophotometer diperoleh nilai celah pita energi ZnO sebesar 3,01 eV. Dari informasi celah pita energi lapisan ZnO ini digunakan untuk aplikasi pendegradasi pewarna MB 100 ppm. Hasil uji aktifitas fotokatalis menunjukkan bahwa lapisan tipis ZnO telah mampu mendegradasi MB 100 ppm hingga 96,5% (menjadi bening) selama 6 jam dibawah iradiasi sinar matahari.

Abstract

Semenjak pandemi Covid-19 melanda seluruh dunia, tidak terkecuali Indonesia. Sehingga berdampak pada kebijakan pemerintah, termasuk praktik proses pembelajaran dalam dunia pendidikan. Dari latar belakang ini kemudian peneliti berhasil mengembangkan modul praktikum pada Mata Kuliah Sistem Kontrol Berbasis Remote Laboratory pada Program Studi Permesinan Kapal Politeknik Pelayaran Sorong. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan mengadopsi model penelitian ADDIE yang terdiri atas lima tahap, yaitu tahap analisa (Analyze), tahap perancangan (Design), tahap pengembangan (Develop), tahap penerapan (Implementation), tahap penilaian (Evaluate). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi ahli dan angket tanggapan taruna-taruni (pengguna modul). Berdasarkan uji kelayakan ahli materi diperoleh rata-rata nilai validitas sebesar 89,50% dengan kategori sangat layak, uji kelayakan ahli media diperoleh 85,50% dengan kategori sangat layak, sedangkan uji kelayakan media pembelajaran terhadap respon pengguna diperoleh rerata skor 84,58% terhadap penilaian keseluruhan aspek yaitu kualitas materi dan isi, karakteristik modul, dan tampilan modul, sehingga dikategorikan sangat layak. Hasil data tersebut menunjukkan modul yang dikembangkan sudah tergolong sangat layak dan praktis, untuk diimplementasikan sebagai media pembelajaran media online pada mata kuliah sistem kontrol pada Program Studi Permesinan Kapal Politeknik Pelayaran Sorong.

Abstract

Radiotherapy is a method of externally cancer therapy using a Linear Accelerator (LINAC) tool. LINAC can produce photon and electron beam energy which will be used to treat cancer according to the position of the cancer in the patient's body. When using an electron beam to treat cancer on the surface of the skin, it is found that there is a lack of a radiation dose. The use of bolus with Silicone Rubber (SR) material is a solution to provide an increase in radiation doses in the surface area of the skin. In this study SR boluses were made using the sol-gel method with dimensions of 17 cm x 17 cm x 1 cm. The SR Bolus was illuminated with an applicator field area of 10 cm x 10 cm and energy variations of 5 MeV and 7 MeV. The surface dose produced at the moment without using a bolus for 5 MeV and 7 MeV energy is 1.60 Gy and 1.61 Gy. When using bolus, the surface dose of 5 MeV and 7 MeV energy is 2.12 Gy and 2.06 Gy. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the use of SR bolus can increase a higher surface dose without using bolus.
