Abstract

This study explores the integration of the Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) model with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach in interactive e-worksheets to enhance students' scientific argumentation in food biotechnology education. Using a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design, 60 ninth-grade students from SMPN 1 Tanjung Bintang were assigned to either an experimental group, using ADI-STEM e-worksheets, or a control group, using conventional printed worksheets. Data were collected through a validated open-ended test assessing scientific argumentation components: claims, data, warrants, and backing. Analysis of N-Gain scores, t-tests, and effect sizes indicated that the experimental group showed significantly greater improvement across all indicators, with a large effect size demonstrating substantial impact. The integration of ADI and STEM not only fostered deeper cognitive engagement but also improved students' ability to form structured, evidence-backed arguments. These findings highlight the potential of combining inquiry-based learning with interdisciplinary STEM content in digital formats to enhance higher-order thinking and scientific reasoning. The study contributes to 21st-century science education and calls for further research on its long-term and broader effects.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive STEM-based video based on H5P Moodle that is valid, practical, and effective for cultivating performance skills as an effort to overcome learning loss in the material for measuring instruments. The research method used in this development is the R & D method using the ADDIE model which consists of five development steps namely: analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection instruments used include: needs analysis questionnaires, validation test questionnaires, practicality test questionnaires, and effectiveness test questionnaires. The trial design using research products shows that the H5P Moodle-based Interactive Video developed is valid, practical, effectively used in the closed-eye learning process (PTTM) through blended learning to foster performance skills as an effort to overcome learning loss. The results of the validity test obtained an average percentage of construction validity of 92.00% and content validation obtained an average percentage of 87.00%. The results of the practicality questionnaire analysis showed that the STEM-based Interactive Video based on the H5P Moodle was stated to be practical with product legibility obtaining a percentage of 96.00% in the very good category. The results of the teacher's response test using Interactive Video with STEM-based H5P Moodle obtained a percentage of 87.60% in the very good category. For student responses the percentage is 87.00%, this indicates an interactive video with STEM content based on the H5P Moodle that was developed practically. Effectiveness is shown by the results of the analysis of the average percentage of achievement of performance skills in the experimental class of 87.50 and 73.00% in the control class. An increase in performance skills of 14.50% shows that Interactive Video with STEM content based on Moodle's H5P is very effective for growing performance skills as an effort to overcome learning loss.

Abstract

The research conducted aims to describe e-LKPD based on the 7E learning cycle that is valid, practical, and effective in stimulating complex problem-solving (CPS) and student self-efficacy (SE). The research method used is Design and Development Research (DDR) consisting of analysis, design, development, and evaluation. After the e-LKPD was designed based on the results of an analysis of teacher and student needs, a product feasibility test was carried out with three experts and obtained valid results in aspects of media and design, content, and construction. Furthermore, the e-LKPD was tested for practicality with aspects of learning implementation, readability tests, and student responses which obtained very practical results. Furthermore, the effectiveness test using the N-Gain test, difference test, and paired test showed that there was a significant difference in the increase in CPS and SE in the experimental class and the control class and there was a significant increase in CPS and SE in the experimental class which was categorized as quite effective. Therefore, the e-LKPD based on the 7E learning cycle that has been developed has obtained valid, practical, and effective results for stimulating students' CPS and SE.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of integrated differentiated PjBl-STEM e-LKPD to improve science literacy. This research method uses the ADDIE R&D model. Classes IX.A, IX.B, IX.C, and IX.D at SMPN 1 Tanjung Bintang became the research sample with purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used the independent sample t-test and ANOVA. Based on expert validation, the percentage of content suitability aspects was 96.42%, construction suitability 96.25% and readability 90%. The average percentage of teacher responses to the content aspect was 95%, readability 93.75%, and attractiveness 98.75%, as well as the results of observations of learning implementation 77.4%, and reflection questionnaires with high criteria. In addition, the percentage of student responses to the readability aspect was 86.25% and attractiveness 90%. Based on these results, the developed e-LKPD is valid and practical with a very high category. The results of the t-test stated that there was a significant difference in the average scientific literacy of students between the control and experimental classes. The results of the ANOVA test stated that there was no effect of using e-LKPD with visual, kinesthetic, and auditory learning styles in improving scientific literacy because the e-LKPD developed had accommodated the needs of all students.

Abstract

This preliminary study explores the needs of teachers and students in physics learning, focusing on renewable energy topics. Using a survey method, data were collected from 24 high school physics teachers in Lampung Province via Google Forms. The findings were analyzed to identify educational gaps and propose solutions. Results reveal a pressing need for learning programs that enhance Collaborative Problem-Solving and Entrepreneurial Skills. While 83.30% of teachers reported integrating Project-Based Learning STEM (PjBL-STEM) into their teaching, only 23.50% of worksheets used were PjBL-STEM-based, and just 26.70% were self-created. Teachers faced challenges such as limited time and difficulty initiating development. Additionally, only 54.20% of teachers were familiar with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The study also highlights gaps in skill assessment, with 75% of teachers not evaluating Collaborative Problem-Solving Skills and 87.50% not assessing Entrepreneurial Skills. Despite using teaching media and worksheets, these gaps suggest a need for more robust tools and methods. The findings underscore the importance of developing renewable energy learning programs integrated with PjBL-STEM. Such programs can address existing challenges, promote SDG awareness, and equip students with critical skills for collaboration and entrepreneurship in the context of physics education.
