Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is improve the ability to introduction geometry in the child age 5-6 years through playing block activities. The subject of this research is children in grade B, RA Al-Watoniyah 16 Rawa Terate Cakung, East Jakarta. The method used classroom action research. This research used qualitative and quantitative approach according to Kemmis model which consists of four components: planning, action, observation and reflection. The mean value obtained in pre intervention was 35.90%. Based on these results, interventions must be taken through playing blocks activities. After doing intervention in cycle I, The results obtained an average score of 61.52%. Then intervention in cycle II and obtained an average value of 80.97%. Based on these results, the child ability to introduction geometry has increased according to determined criteria, so that intervention action is stopped. Based on the results of research that has been implemented, playing blocks activities very effective can improve the ability children to introduction geometry. Furthermore, this activity can also improve the moral, cognitive, social emotional, language and motor development. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal geometri pada anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui kegiatan bermain balok. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak-anak kelompok B di RA Al-Wathoniyah 16 Rawa Terate Cakung, Jakarta Timur. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif menurut model Kemmis yang terdiri dari empat komponen, yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Nilai rata-rata yang didapat pada praintervensi adalah 35.90%. Berdasarkan hasil ini maka harus dilakukan tindakan intervensi melalui kegiatan bermain balok. Setelah melakukan intervensi tindakan siklus I maka diperoleh hasil nilai rata-rata sebesar 61.52%. Kemudian dilakukan intervensi tindakan siklus II dan diperoleh nilai rata-rata 80.97%. Berdasarkan hasil ini maka kemampuan anak mengenal geometri telah meningkat sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan sehingga tindakan intervensi dihentikan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, kegiatan bermain balok sangat efektif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal geometri pada anak. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga dapat meningkatkan aspek moral, kognitif, social emosional, bahasa dan motorik.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is improve the early reading ability in the child age 4-5 years through used flannel board. The subject of this research is children in grade A, TKI Nurul Hidayah, Bekasi Jaya Indah. The method used classroom action research. This research used qualitative and quantitative approach according to Kemmis model which consists of four components: planning, action, observation and reflection. The mean value obtained in pre intervention was 31.6%. Based on these results, intervention must be taken through used flannel board. After doing intervention in cycle I, The results obtained an average score of 51.1%. Then intervention in cycle II and obtained an average value of 75.4%. Based on these results, the early reading ability has increased according to determined criteria, so that intervention action is stopped. Based on the results of research that has been implemented, using flannel board very effective can improve the early reading ability.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan pada anak usia 4-5 tahun melalui penggunaan media papan flanel. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak-anak kelompok A di TKI Nurul Hidayah, Bekasi Jaya Indah. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif menurut model Kemmis yang terdiri dari empat komponen, yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Nilai rata-rata yang didapat pada praintervensi adalah 31.6%. Berdasarkan hasil ini maka harus dilakukan tindakan intervensi melalui kegiatan bermain balok. Setelah melakukan intervensi tindakan siklus I maka diperoleh hasil nilai rata-rata sebesar 51.1%. Kemudian dilakukan intervensi tindakan siklus II dan diperoleh nilai rata-rata 75.4%. Berdasarkan hasil ini maka kemampuan membaca permulaan anak telah meningkat sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan sehingga tindakan intervensi dihentikan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, penggunaan media papan flanel sangat efektif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan pada anak.

Abstract

Insecure dapat diartikan sebagai rasa tidak aman atau rasa takut akan terjadinya sesuatu yang dimana hal ini dipicu dengan rasa ketidakpuasan bahkan tidak yakin akan sebuah Kapasitas yang terdapat pada diri sendiri. Maka dari itu hal ini akan menjadi sebuah problematika pada perkembangan anak usia dini, yang dimana akan menggangu pada kehidupan anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memahami sebuah permasalahan anak usia dini dan agar dapat mencegah dampak permasalahan ini, dan mampu memberikan penanganan yang tepat. Oleh karena itu, sebagai orang tua maupun pendidik harus mengetahui serta melihat tumbuh kembang pada anak. Fokus utama dari penelitian ini terdiri dari (1) untuk memahami karakteristik anak yang berperilaku insecure, (2) bagaimana penanganan anak yang berperilaku Insecure. Metode yang dilakukan ialah Studi literatur (Literatur Study). Studi Literatur pada penelitian ini adalah serangkaian kegiatan yang berkenaan dengan kegiatan metode pengumpulan data pustaka, membaca, mencarat dan mengelola data penelitian secara objektif, analisis, sistematis dan kritis tentang penanganan insecure pada anak usia dini.Kata Kunci: Insecure, Penanganan, Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Children with hearing impairement have difficulty communicating because of the language limitations so they will use sign language to communicate. Reflective Maternal Method (MMR) is one of the teaching methods that are expected to develop language skills especially for children with hearing impairment so it can communicate using oral language. The main focus of the study consisted of: (1) How the children speech ability and (2) How is the procedure of using Reflective Maternal Method (MMR). The research method used literature study and field study by observing the learning process in the class of children with hearing impairement using the Reflective Maternal Method (MMR). This research involves children with age range 6-8 years in SLB Pangudi Luhur Kindergarten, Jakarta which consists of 12 people. To illustrate the situation that occurred in the subject of research, this study used a qualitative approach. Research data collected in the form of observation, interview, and documentation data. From the results of this study, it is known that the Reflective Maternal Method (MMR) have a role in developing speech skills in children with hearing impairment. Based on the results of field studies, it can be described that the use of Reflective Maternal Method (MMR) in SLB Pangudi Luhur includes the following stages: (1) Preparation, (2) Integrated Speech, (3) Week Board, (4) Conversation, (5) Visualization, (6) Visualization Processing, (7) Copy visualization, and (8) Reading speech utterance. Abstract

The Montessori method is a method of teaching children according to their childhood personality. This method focuses the attention of children individually (child/student focus), focuses on practical life skills, freedom, independence, and pays attention to the child's sensitive period. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, learning is carried out online using multimedia technology with an internet network with the flexibility of being able to hold meetings between teachers and children to carry out learning interactions. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of learning through the Montessori method during the covid-19 pandemic. Research subjects were selected using a non-probable sampling technique: target sampling (sampling with certain considerations). This study used five subjects at Kinderworld Montessori: the principal, two teachers at Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2, and 2 parents. This research was analyzed by descriptive qualitative method. This study uses in-depth interviews and documentation to collect data with the analysis process using the Miles Huberman method, namely, through four stages, namely data reduction, data display, conclusions and data verification. Based on the results of interviews with research subjects, it can be concluded that, during a pandemic learning activities using the Montessori method can be said to be relatively going well, but the percentage is not up to 100% as when learning is done offline, the reason is because the materials used when doing Montessori activities are substituted. or replaced with equipment that is relatively the same as the equipment available at home, even so the teacher still ensures that the learning outcomes of the Montessori Method are achieved well. Metode Montessori adalah metode mengajarkan anak sesuai dengan kepribadian masa kecilnya. Metode ini memfokuskan perhatian anak secara individual (fokus anak/siswa), memfokuskan kemampuan Practical life, kebebasan, kemandirian, serta memperhatikan Masa peka anak. Akibat dari Pandemi Covid-19 mengakibatkan pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara Daring menggunakan teknologi multimedia dengan jaringan internet yang fleksibilitas mampu melakukan pertemuan antara guru dan anak untuk melaksanakan interaksi pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran melalui metode montessori selama pandemi covid-19. Subyek penelitian dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik non-probable sampling: target sampling (pengambilan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu). Penelitian ini menggunakan lima subjek di Kinderworld Montessori: kepala sekolah, dua guru di Kindergarten 1 dan Kindergarten 2, dan 2 orang tua Murid. Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpukan data dengan proses analisis menggunakan metode MilesHuberman yaitu, melalui empat tahapan yaitu reduksi data, display data, kesimpulan serta verifikasi data. Berdasarkan dari hasil wawancara dengan subjek penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, saat pandemic kegiatan pembelajaran Menggunakan metode Montessori bisa dikatakan relative berjalan dengan baik, namun presentase nya tidak sampai 100% seperti saat pembelajaran dilakukan secara Offline, alasannya adalah karena Material yang digunakan ketika berkegiatan Montessori di Subtitusi atau diganti dengan peralatan yang relative sama dengan peralatan yang tersedia dirumah, meski begitu guru tetap memastikan capaian pembelajaran Metode Montessori nya tercapai dengan baik.

Abstract

Children who experience speech delay, especially in their expressive language skills will have difficulty in pronunciation. Therefore, speech therapy is needed in helping the problems faced by children. The purpose of this study was to analyze the stages of speech therapy at Kitty Center Green Garden, speech therapy activities in optimizing expressive language skills, identification of supporting and inhibiting factors of speech therapy and speech delay in children's language skills after attending speech therapy. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data analysis used the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate: 1) Context Evaluation, showing a good category with the results of the study being able to provide good services. 2) Input Evaluation, showing a good category with research results, namely the facilities and infrastructure provided are adequate in speech therapy activities. 3) Process Evaluation, showing a good category with research results, namely therapy services according to the development of the client. 4) Product Evaluation, showing a good category with the results of the research, namely the speech therapy services provided can produce changes in speech therapy recipients.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the involvement of teachers in introducing beginning mathematics to early childhood. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection technique was carried out using structured interviews with research subjects involving 5 Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teachers in the South Tangerang area who were selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis in this study uses the concept of Miles and Huberman, namely data analysis, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the interviews were analyzed to find out the media, methods, constraints, solutions and children's responses to the introduction of early mathematics. The results obtained in this study indicate that teachers play an important role in introducing early childhood math classes which can be done in various ways according to the needs of each child. The introduction of early math concepts to early childhood involves teachers taking an important role in banning children from PAUD. The existence of use of learning media, methods and strategies that are very diverse so that teachers are expected to be able to help children introduce mathematics to early childhood.

Abstract

Mathematics is the science of numbers, the relationship between numbers, and the operational procedures used in solving problems concerning numbers. Mathematics comes from the Latin word mathematica, which was originally taken from the Greek word mathematic, which means "relating to learning". This word has the root word mathema which means knowledge, science. Mathematics is concerned with structured ideas whose relationships are arranged logically. This means that mathematics is very abstract. That is with regard to abstract concepts and deductive reasoning. Mathematics learning in early childhood is given in stages beginning with counting objects or experiences of real events experienced by children in everyday life and based on children's observations. The introduction of mathematical concepts for children is to use simple language, so that children can easily understand what has been conveyed by the teacher. The introduction of early childhood mathematics is adjusted to the level of children's mental development and when children learn to count, in teaching children to learn to count, it can be started with simple things such as: recognizing numbers when blowing out birthday candles, counting the amount of food they will eat. , counting fruit in the fridge, counting by listening to songs, counting when wearing shoes, counting through toys, through apps, and through movies. This journal uses a literature review research method approach or literature study, which contains theories relevant to research problems. The results showed that learning mathematics using existing media in the children's environment made it easier for children to learn to count and children become more interested in learning mathematics.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the importance of teaching algebraic content and algebraic thinking skills for early childhood and how the learning strategies are at the early childhood education level. The research method uses library research to understand learning algebraic content and algebraic thinking for early childhood. The results obtained in this study include the application of learning mathematics for children through various creative activities and introducing the concept of arithmetic and geometric concepts. Both of these concepts in teaching early childhood are introduced to several objects in the environment around them so that these mathematical concepts can be understood and understood more deeply by early childhood.
