Abstract

Bahasa dan bicara merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan anak karena tidak hanya menjadi sarana komunikasi tetapi juga sebagai dasar dalam perkembangan kognitif, sosial dan emosional anak. Di Indonesia, kasus speech delay menunjukkan prevalensi yang cukup tinggi sehingga intervensi yang tepat sangat diperlukan untuk menunjang perkembangan bicara anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan metode fonik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara pada anak speech delay di Klinik FQ. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi terhadap partisipan penelitian dan terapis. Subjek penelitian merupakan anak dengan hambatan speech delay sejumlah satu anak. Proses terapi dimulai dari pengenalan bunyi huruf vokal, penggabungan bunyi konsonan-vokal, penggabungan suku kata, pembentukan kata sederhana, hingga penggunaan kata dalam konteks komunikasi sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa metode fonik yang diterapkan secara sisteematis, bertahap, dan dalam suasana yang menyenangkan merupakan stategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bicara anak speech delay. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode fonik memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berbicara anak speech delay, terutama dalam aspek pengenalan bunyi bahasa, perbaikan artikulasi, peningkatan kemampuan vokal, pengayaan kosakata, serta peningkatan konsentrasi dua arah.

Abstract

Knowledge of disaster preparedness plays a crucial role in enhancing individuals’ readiness to face disasters, including floods. This study aims to analyze the relationship between university students’ knowledge of disaster preparedness and their level of readiness to face floods. The method used is a quantitative study with a descriptive-correlational approach. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 200 students at a university in a flood-prone area. The results indicate that most students possess sufficient knowledge regarding disaster preparedness; however, their level of preparedness remains low, particularly in terms of physical preparation and emergency supplies. Correlation analysis indicates a significant positive relationship between students’ knowledge of disaster preparedness and their preparedness to face floods (p < 0.05). Based on these findings, it is recommended that disaster preparedness education programs be strengthened among students to improve their preparedness for flood disasters. This study is expected to provide insights for university administrators and relevant institutions in designing more effective disaster preparedness training and awareness programs.

Abstract

Kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal merupakan bagian penting dari literasi awal anak usia dini yang menjadi dasar kesiapan membaca pada jenjang pendidikan selanjutnya. Namun, hasil observasi awal di KB Matahari 02 Jegong Jambangan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal anak usia 3–4 tahun masih tergolong rendah. Kondisi ini disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional, kurang variatif, dan belum sepenuhnya berbasis bermain sehingga keterlibatan aktif anak belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal pada anak usia 3–4 tahun melalui penerapan permainan “Tebak Aku”. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah anak usia 3–4 tahun di KB Matahari 02 Jegong Jambangan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, dokumentasi, dan penilaian kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal anak. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan anak pada setiap siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan permainan “Tebak Aku” mampu meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal anak secara bertahap. Pada kondisi awal, sebagian besar anak belum mampu mengenali dan menyebutkan huruf vokal dengan benar.

Abstract

The understanding of student’s mental health in schools is still limited. The main attention of schools and students tends to be more towards academic and non-academic achievements. Whereas when students are mentally health, they will be able to absorb lessons and understand it easily than those who are less mentally health. Schools and students also need to be aware of the negative impacts of juvenile delinquency behavior so they could prevent this behavior from occurring, both in school and society. The importance of student mental health program is not only applicable in Indonesia, but also in other countries. Based on preliminary study conducted at schools in Thailand, information obtained that there was a feeling of pressure in carrying out activities at school and there was concern about juvenile delinquency behavior. This international community service activity was carried out to help overcome the problems faced by schools in Thailand. The development of student mental health programs in schools is important to create school well-being and prevent juvenile delinquency behavior. This community service activity was attended by 40 participants consisting of teachers and students from Sangkhom Islam Wittaya School Thailand. The community service activity programs were in the form of education on adolescent mental health programs and prevention of juvenile delinquency. The results of this activity showed that students increasingly understand the importance of developing things that can maintain their mental health. Teachers have knowledge about factors that could improve students' mental health and preventive efforts to prevent juvenile delinquency in schools.

Abstract

Mathematics learning achievement is the learning outcome/ability achieved by students during and after completing mathematics lessons where the results are expressed in the form of numbers or other symbols. Learning achievement is influenced by several factors including family economic background and parental support. This research is quantitative research, the study population was all VII grade students of Boawae 1 Junior High School totaling 101 students. Sampling using simple random sampling, where researchers about 24% of the population to be selected as samples, so that the study sample amounted to 24 students. The stages of this research are data collection using a questionnaire then analyzing the data using Pearson product moment correlation. The data collection process uses questionnaire techniques. Research data were analyzed using Pearson product moment correlation. Based on this study, it can be concluded that There is an insignificant relationship between the family's economic background on the mathematics learning achievement because the value of rcount is 0.242 smaller rtable at a significant level of 5% that is 0.404 and there is a relationship between parental support for mathematics learning achievement because the rcount of 0.747 is greater than rtable at a significant level of 5% which is 0.404 and there is a jointrelationship between the family's economic background and parental support for mathematics learning achievement because the Fcount value of 14.701 is greater than Ftable at the 5% significance level of 3.47.

Abstract

The challenge of learning is increasingly being felt in the era of a pandemic. This has been felt by the whole world since 2020 because of the Covid-19 virus. The online learning process is the effect of the WFH policy where students and teachers learn from home. Geometry is a study of material that is abstract in nature so that it requires projections of objects of space. This research is a development research which is followed by an experiment. Furthermore, the MAR is developed, namely Mathematics Augmented Reality. The material developed in MAR is a geometry according to the class V SD material, namely cubes, cuboid, prisms, pyramids, cones and spheres. The MAR equipment was tested in Kedung Pedaringan elementary school, the trial used a completely randomized design. A completely randomized design is the simplest type of experimental design. The results of the analysis concluded that the development of MAR learning tools for geometry for class V SD was proven statistically to have an effect on learning outcomes. The learning outcomes of students are increased and homogen.

Abstract

Higher-order thinking skills in 21st century learning are a requirement, so that students are able to think critically, creatively, collaboratively and communicatively. Focusing on these demands, often the learning process ignores the basic needs of students, namely happiness. Kebudiutamaan course is one of the institutional courses that must be taken by students of all study programs at IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. As with other study programs, students of the Mathematics Education Study Program also take this course. Regarding the basic needs of students, namely being happy, in taking the Virtue Course, Mathematics Education students also need fun learning. The Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) approach is intended to create fun learning in the learning activities of the Civics course. This study used quantitative approach with survey data (primary) with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used porpusive sampling. Data collection used self-administered questionaires. The results of the non-parametric statistical test Chi-square test (χ2) with a significance level of 5%, show that there is a significant difference in the number of students of the Mathematics Education Study Program in the Kebudiutamaan subject. Students are happy with learning TPACK Plus than those who are not, and there is an increase in critical thinking skills, creative, communicative and able to work collaboratively, which is shown by the product of high-quality material content in the form of short videos.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research. The results of statistics learning (mean, median and mode) in class VIII A students of SMP PGRI 05 Tirtoyudo show that many still have scores below the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM), especially in completing practice questions, so this research aims to improve the learning outcomes of class VIII A students by using quizizz media. The subjects in this study were class VIII A students at SMP PGRI 05 Tirtoyudo. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles. Cycle 1 and cycle 2 went through 4 stages, namely (1) action planning, (2) action implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The results of the study showed that the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII A students of SMP PGRI 05 Tirtoyudo increased after using problem-based learning (PBL) methods assisted by quizizz media. This is indicated by an increase in the achievement of the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). Based on the observation results, an increase in the percentage of learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II was obtained from 50% to 85% so that mathematics learning at SMP PGRI 05 Tirtoyudo was said to be successful.

Abstract

Pendidikan kewirausahaan merupakan pendidikan yang menerapkan prinsip pembentukan life skill (kecakapan hidup) pada anak-anak melalui pembelajaran di sekolah, adanya pendidikan kewirausahaan bertujuan untuk mengarahkan dan menanamkan nilai kewirausahaan sejak dini. Pelatihan pembuatan sabun cuci piring merupakan salah satu cara untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran kewirausahaan pada anak-anak sekolah dasar. Sabun cuci piring dari daun pandan wangi merupakan bahan pencuci yang digunakan untuk membersihkan peralatan makan dan peralatan dapur. Selain melatih kewirausahaan, dapat juga melatih kemandirian dan kebersihan pada anak sekolah dasar dengan mencuci wadah bekal nya sendiri selama di sekolah. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah anak-anak SD IT Mutiara Hati Semarang mengetahui cara pembuatan sabun cuci piring berbahan alam yaitu daun pandan wangi serta meningkatkan nilai kewirausahaan dengan menanamkan life skill pada anak-anak sekolah dasar. Metode pada pengabdian ini dengan memberikan edukasi pendidikan kewirausahaan serta pelatihan pembuatan sabun cuci piring. Hasil pengabdian ini yaitu terdapat peningkatan pemahaman dan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 41,67%.

Abstract

Implementation of scientific learning approach six thinking hats model to enhance students thematic learning quality for 5th grader of elementary school, this research aims to (1) describe the implementation of scientific approach STH (six thinking hats) model that can enhance thematic learning quality, (2) enhance the learning quality in “Environment is Our Friend” theme. This Classroom Action Research was conducted in two cycles. The subject of this research is A-class of 5th graders of Ngijo 3 Elementary School, Karangploso, Malang. The research result shows that implementation of STH model on thematic learning in 5th graders optimize the students’ learning quality. Implementation of STH model can improve discussion process by hat activity that combined with 5M (observing, questioning, reasoning, practicing, concluding) ability, also the learning outcome including students’ affective, cognitive, psychomotor ability.
