Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that hit the world, Indonesia is no exception, has had a huge impact on various sectors, one of which is the education sector. Many activities that must be done online cause students to experience fatigue commonly called zoom fatigue and affect the task commitment level of students. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Zoom fatigue and level tasks commitment on the students-level I Faculty of Nursing, University of Padjadjaran. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive correlation design. The data collection technique used in this study is a questionnaire using google forms. The instrument used in this study is the Zoom fatigue & Fatigue Scale to measure zoom fatigue and the Task Commitment level Scale to measure task commitment levels. Data analysis conducted in this study is to use Rank spearman to test the hypothesis test. The results of data analysis conducted using the Spearman correlation technique obtained a sig value of 0.119 > 0.05 then it was concluded that there is no significant relationship between Zoom fatigue and task commitment level in Level I Students of the Faculty of Nursing, University of Padjadjaran. Researchers are further advised to identify also related to other variables that affect the level of task commitment such as punishment, reward, and praise, as well as environmental conditions.

Abstract

Aims: Hardiness is a trait or personality of an individual with positive emotions for his physical and mental health. The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in changes in learning methods, from offline to online. Readiness to adapt to online learning is a trigger for mental stress that affects the level of hardiness. Objective: This study aims to determine the level of hardiness in final year students of the 2018 Faculty of Nursing Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) in dealing with online learning during the pandemic. Method: Data collection was carried out from 17th -27th November 2021. The sampling technique in this study was random sampling. Data analysis used a quantitative study. The instrument used in this study is the Hardiness of Online Learning Period instrument. The research method used in this research is a descriptive quantitative method. The population used Faculty of nursing class of 2018 students, with a sample of 153 people calculated by the Slovin formula. Result: The results obtained indicate that most of the respondent have moderate hardiness (70,6%). Other result was found that the level of resilience and hardiness of respondents was in the medium category. Conclusion: This study shows that the respondents Most of the respondents have medium level of hardiness. students are expected to be able to maintain their hardiness during online learning and academics are expected to evaluate the applied learning. Nursing Implications: This study has implications, namely basic data for nurses to carry out nursing interventions in increasing hardiness in students at school.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kesehatan mental merupakan kondisi sejahtera dari individu. Dalam tiga dekade terakhir, isu kesehatan mental sangat penting dalam pembangunan kesehatan. Fenomena gangguan mental di Indonesia meningkat dari hasil riset sebelumnya. Pencegahan primer sebagai suatu upaya untuk menekan angka gangguan mental yang dapat dilakukan dengan memberdayakan kader. Berdasarkan observasi, di Desa Cintaratu belum memiliki kader khusus kesehatan jiwa serta para kader memiliki pemahaman yang kurang terkait konsep dan sikap yang sesuai untuk berhadapan dengan Orang Dengan Gangguan Jiwa. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran kader mengenai kesehatan mental. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan yaitu seminar dan simulasi mengenai deteksi dini dan Psychological First Aids (PFA) yang diikuti oleh 19 orang kader. Pelatihan ini dievaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Berdasarkan evaluasi, terdapat peningkatan pemahaman kader yang mengikuti pelatihan dengan kenaikan skor rata-rata dari pre-test ke post-test sebesar 0,16. Para kader sangat antusias selama mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan.Abstract: Mental health is the state of well-being of the individual. In the last three decades, mental health issues are very important in health development. The phenomenon of mental disorders in Indonesia has increased from the results of previous research. Primary prevention is an effort to reduce the number of mental disorders that can be done by empowering cadres. Based on observations, Cintaratu Village does not yet have special mental health cadres and the cadres have a lack of understanding regarding appropriate concepts and attitudes for dealing with People with Mental Disorders. The purpose of this activity is to increase the understanding and awareness of cadres regarding mental health. The training methods used were seminars and simulations regarding early detection and Psychological First Aids (PFA) which were attended by 19 cadres. This training was evaluated using pre-test and post-test. Based on the evaluation, there was an increase in the understanding of cadres who attended the training with an increase in the average score from pre-test to post-test of 0.16. The cadres were very enthusiastic during the training activities.

Abstract

Background: alexithymia is a psychological condition characterized by the inability to recognize and express emotions verbally or non-verbally. People who experience alexithymia often have difficulty identifying and expressing their emotions appropriately and clearly.Purpose: the purpose of this study was to determine relationship of alexithymia with gender among nursing students in Universitas Padjadjaran.Methods: the population of this study was active students in the Bachelor's program of the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor/Garut and Pangandaran campus, who experienced social media addiction and are in the class of 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. The instrument used was the Toronto Alexithymia Scale-20 (TAS-20). Total sample was 590 students. This instrument was an instrument containing 20 statement items used to assess the level of alexithymia.Results: based on the results of the analysis of the data obtained, there is a relationship between the alexithymia level variable and gender with a sig value relationship. with a positive correlation coefficient value of 0.285, which means that the strength of the relationship between the two variables is sufficient.Conclusion: there is an adequate and positive relationship between gender and the level of alexithymia among nursing students in Universitas Padjadjaran.

Abstract

Background: Domestic violence is an incident that affects all family members, including children. The impact of domestic violence needs to be identified from the beginning, so that early treatment can be given. The purpose of this study was to describe the impact of domestic violence on child development. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the coping strategies of adolescents with divorced parents.Methods: This study used the Scoping Review method. Literature were sourced from CINAHL, PubMed, and Scopus. The keywords are “domestic violence” AND “child” AND “impact”. The criteria for articles in this study are full text, free access, English language, and the publication period of the last 10 years (2013-2022). Results: Nine articles were found discussing the impact of domestic violence on children's development, namely the psychological impact, social impact, and the impact on school life. Several samples from UK ranged from 8-336 respondents. These impacts occur due to trauma events in children that are not treated immediately. The impact will be even worse if there is no immediate intervention to reduce the impact of domestic violence. Conclusions: Domestic violence can cause disturbances to the development of children including psychological impacts, social impacts, and impacts on school life.

Abstract

Aims: Schizophrenia is a mental disorder that causes hallucinations, delusions, and highly disorganized thinking and behavior that impairs daily functioning, and can be disabling. 90% of people with schizophrenia have hallucinations. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of occupational therapy and psychoreligious therapy in reducing hallucinations. Objective: This study was to determine the effectiveness of occupational therapy and psychoreligious therapy in reducing hallucinations. Methode : This study used a case study with a nursing care approach that includes assessment to evaluation. Patients with auditory hallucinations were given occupational therapy to shift focus and psycho-religious therapy to provide relaxation for hallucinatory patients. This therapy was given for 10 days with a total of 5 meetings. Results: Problems with sensory perceptual disturbances: reduced auditory hallucinations. Patient get a combination of occupational therapy and psycho-religious therapy which shows changes in behavior such as clients being able to control hallucinations and taking part in activities held by the clinic. This can be seen from the client being able to control his hallucinations, the frequency of hallucinations is reduced, and the client regularly participates in activities held by the clinic. Conclusion: Occupational therapy and psycho-religious therapy can be used for patients with hallucinatory disorders.  Therapy is only carried out for 10 days to the patient. so the recommendation for further research is the need to analyze the effectiveness of occupational therapy and psycho-religious therapy to reduce the symptoms of auditory hallucinations. Nursing Implications: This research was conducted to become a basis for nurses in carrying out nursing interventions in patients with sensory perception disorders: auditory hallucinations and can be a guideline for health facilities to make policies regarding interventions for clients with auditory hallucinations.

Abstract

Skizofrenia merupakan suatu gangguan kejiwaan kompleks saat seseorang mengalami kesulitan dalam proses berpikir sehingga menimbulkan halusinasi, delusi, dan gangguan berpikir. Sebagian besar orang dengan skizofrenia ditandai dengan gangguan kemampuan untuk terlibat secara sosial dengan orang lain.Untuk mengetahui pengaruh Terapi Cognitive Behavioral Social Skill Training Tahap Melatih Kemampuan Berkomunikasi Pada Pasien Skizofrenia. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan design scoping review serta menggunakan Prisma flow, pencarian literatur dilakukan pada Database Pubmed, CINAHL. Menggunakan kata kunci yang telah ditentukan dan dipilih berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, didapatkan 7 artikel yang sesuai dan layak digunakan dalam studi literatur. Dari hasil pencarian di dapatkan 7 artikel Hasil terapi CBSST ini memiliki berbagai macam manfaat diantaranya Mempengaruhi fungsi kognitif, meningkatkan kognisi sosial, penurunan gejala negatif. Hasil studi literatur ini diharapkan dapat mengembangkan atau menjadi pembaharuan penelitian mengenai Intervensi Cognitive Behavioral Social Skills Training untuk menangani pasien yang mengalami permasalahan psikosa Skizofrenia.

Abstract

Background: Psychological well-being in a person is influenced by several factors, one of which is gender, where this factor is a differentiator between psychological well-being that is owned by a father or mother as a parent which will affect the ability to overcome problems that occur in the family, especially problems child health.Purpose: This study aims to determine differences in Psychological Well-Being viewed by gender in Depok City.Methods: The study population was parents who have children with autism spectrum disorder (ADS) at SEKOLAH LUAR BIASA Budi Lestari and Harapan Utama Ananda School. This type of research was quantitative with a correlation descriptive design. The sampling technique to be used was total sampling (n=30). Data collection was carried out on 23 – 27 June 2022. The instrument in this research uses the Psychological Well-Being Scale (PWBS) instrument.Results: The results of data analysis obtained sig value. with a positive correlation coefficient of 0.695, which means that the strength of the relationship is strong.Discussion: The level of psychological well-being in each person is different. One of the factors that influence a person's psychological well-being is their belief in the roles they carry out on a daily basis. This gender difference determines how the parenting pattern is given or carried out by parents to their children.Conclusion: There is a strong and positive relationship between gender and parents with psychological well-being in parents who have children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Abstract

Aims: Online learning causes mental health problems in students. Fatigue among students can hinder concentration, memory retention, and cognitive functioning, leading to decreased academic productivity, heightened stress, and disrupted personal and social lives. Screen fatigue among students can be attributed to factors such as prolonged screen exposure, inadequate breaks, poor ergonomics, multitasking, content nature, sleep deprivation, screen brightness, glare, visual discomfort, and reduced physical interaction during online classes. Method: This study used a quantitative descriptive design. The population in this study were first-year nursing students during online learning. The sample technique used total sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 180 respondents. Data collection used the Zoom Exhaustion & Fatigue Scale (ZEF Scale). Univariate data analysis to describe the frequency of screen fatigue levels in students. Results: The results of this study indicate that the majority of students have a moderate level of screen fatigue, namely 77 respondents (42.8%). Then respondents with low screen fatigue category were 45 people (25%). Then respondents with high screen fatigue category were 58 people (32.2%). This shows that student screen fatigue is still high, so lecturers and students must care about each other's mental health problems during online learning. Conclusion: Screen fatigue is a problem experienced by students during online learning, this data becomes data for universities to develop learning methods that are effective in reducing the problem of screen fatigue in students. Nursing Implications: The implication of this research is that there is data for universities and lecturers in providing psychological services to students during online learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of religiosity, the level of gratitude, and the incidence of depression in teenagers in high schools in Labakkang District, Pangkep Regency. The research method used is a cross-sectional method. The results of the study showed that the highest level of religiosity was 98.5%, moderate level of gratitude was 97%, and no depression was 98.5%. Of the 200 respondents who had a high level of religiosity, 200 (100.0%) also did not experience depression, while 3 respondents had a moderate level of religiosity, as many as 3 (100.0%). Meanwhile, the relationship between gratitude and the incidence of depression shows that of the 197 respondents who had a moderate level of gratitude, 3 (1.5%) experienced mild depression, while of the 6 respondents who had a high level of gratitude, 6 (100.0%) did not experience depression. In conclusion, there is a relationship between the level of religiosity and the incidence of depression, and there is no relationship between the level of gratitude and the incidence of depression.
