Abstract

Background: alexithymia is a psychological condition characterized by the inability to recognize and express emotions verbally or non-verbally. People who experience alexithymia often have difficulty identifying and expressing their emotions appropriately and clearly.Purpose: the purpose of this study was to determine relationship of alexithymia with gender among nursing students in Universitas Padjadjaran.Methods: the population of this study was active students in the Bachelor's program of the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor/Garut and Pangandaran campus, who experienced social media addiction and are in the class of 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. The instrument used was the Toronto Alexithymia Scale-20 (TAS-20). Total sample was 590 students. This instrument was an instrument containing 20 statement items used to assess the level of alexithymia.Results: based on the results of the analysis of the data obtained, there is a relationship between the alexithymia level variable and gender with a sig value relationship. with a positive correlation coefficient value of 0.285, which means that the strength of the relationship between the two variables is sufficient.Conclusion: there is an adequate and positive relationship between gender and the level of alexithymia among nursing students in Universitas Padjadjaran.

Abstract

Aims: Schizophrenia is a mental disorder that causes hallucinations, delusions, and highly disorganized thinking and behavior that impairs daily functioning, and can be disabling. 90% of people with schizophrenia have hallucinations. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of occupational therapy and psychoreligious therapy in reducing hallucinations. Objective: This study was to determine the effectiveness of occupational therapy and psychoreligious therapy in reducing hallucinations. Methode : This study used a case study with a nursing care approach that includes assessment to evaluation. Patients with auditory hallucinations were given occupational therapy to shift focus and psycho-religious therapy to provide relaxation for hallucinatory patients. This therapy was given for 10 days with a total of 5 meetings. Results: Problems with sensory perceptual disturbances: reduced auditory hallucinations. Patient get a combination of occupational therapy and psycho-religious therapy which shows changes in behavior such as clients being able to control hallucinations and taking part in activities held by the clinic. This can be seen from the client being able to control his hallucinations, the frequency of hallucinations is reduced, and the client regularly participates in activities held by the clinic. Conclusion: Occupational therapy and psycho-religious therapy can be used for patients with hallucinatory disorders.  Therapy is only carried out for 10 days to the patient. so the recommendation for further research is the need to analyze the effectiveness of occupational therapy and psycho-religious therapy to reduce the symptoms of auditory hallucinations. Nursing Implications: This research was conducted to become a basis for nurses in carrying out nursing interventions in patients with sensory perception disorders: auditory hallucinations and can be a guideline for health facilities to make policies regarding interventions for clients with auditory hallucinations.

Abstract

Skizofrenia merupakan suatu gangguan kejiwaan kompleks saat seseorang mengalami kesulitan dalam proses berpikir sehingga menimbulkan halusinasi, delusi, dan gangguan berpikir. Sebagian besar orang dengan skizofrenia ditandai dengan gangguan kemampuan untuk terlibat secara sosial dengan orang lain.Untuk mengetahui pengaruh Terapi Cognitive Behavioral Social Skill Training Tahap Melatih Kemampuan Berkomunikasi Pada Pasien Skizofrenia. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan design scoping review serta menggunakan Prisma flow, pencarian literatur dilakukan pada Database Pubmed, CINAHL. Menggunakan kata kunci yang telah ditentukan dan dipilih berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, didapatkan 7 artikel yang sesuai dan layak digunakan dalam studi literatur. Dari hasil pencarian di dapatkan 7 artikel Hasil terapi CBSST ini memiliki berbagai macam manfaat diantaranya Mempengaruhi fungsi kognitif, meningkatkan kognisi sosial, penurunan gejala negatif. Hasil studi literatur ini diharapkan dapat mengembangkan atau menjadi pembaharuan penelitian mengenai Intervensi Cognitive Behavioral Social Skills Training untuk menangani pasien yang mengalami permasalahan psikosa Skizofrenia.

Abstract

Aims: Online learning causes mental health problems in students. Fatigue among students can hinder concentration, memory retention, and cognitive functioning, leading to decreased academic productivity, heightened stress, and disrupted personal and social lives. Screen fatigue among students can be attributed to factors such as prolonged screen exposure, inadequate breaks, poor ergonomics, multitasking, content nature, sleep deprivation, screen brightness, glare, visual discomfort, and reduced physical interaction during online classes. Method: This study used a quantitative descriptive design. The population in this study were first-year nursing students during online learning. The sample technique used total sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 180 respondents. Data collection used the Zoom Exhaustion & Fatigue Scale (ZEF Scale). Univariate data analysis to describe the frequency of screen fatigue levels in students. Results: The results of this study indicate that the majority of students have a moderate level of screen fatigue, namely 77 respondents (42.8%). Then respondents with low screen fatigue category were 45 people (25%). Then respondents with high screen fatigue category were 58 people (32.2%). This shows that student screen fatigue is still high, so lecturers and students must care about each other's mental health problems during online learning. Conclusion: Screen fatigue is a problem experienced by students during online learning, this data becomes data for universities to develop learning methods that are effective in reducing the problem of screen fatigue in students. Nursing Implications: The implication of this research is that there is data for universities and lecturers in providing psychological services to students during online learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of religiosity, the level of gratitude, and the incidence of depression in teenagers in high schools in Labakkang District, Pangkep Regency. The research method used is a cross-sectional method. The results of the study showed that the highest level of religiosity was 98.5%, moderate level of gratitude was 97%, and no depression was 98.5%. Of the 200 respondents who had a high level of religiosity, 200 (100.0%) also did not experience depression, while 3 respondents had a moderate level of religiosity, as many as 3 (100.0%). Meanwhile, the relationship between gratitude and the incidence of depression shows that of the 197 respondents who had a moderate level of gratitude, 3 (1.5%) experienced mild depression, while of the 6 respondents who had a high level of gratitude, 6 (100.0%) did not experience depression. In conclusion, there is a relationship between the level of religiosity and the incidence of depression, and there is no relationship between the level of gratitude and the incidence of depression. Abstract

Introduction: Loss is a state in which a person is detached from something that existed before, with the possibility of being partially or completely absent. Each individual will respond and take a different amount of time to accept a loss. Internet-based remote intervention can be an alternative face-to-face intervention for psychological therapy for people who have experienced loss. Purpose: To explore internet-based interventions in reducing loss and grieving symptoms using the rapid review method. Methods: This literature review uses CINAHL, PubMed, Science Direct, and Cochrane as article search databases, with the year of publication ranging from 2012-2022, and the main focus refers to individuals who have experienced loss and bereavement. Results: The search results, there were 386 articles, and the selection results obtained 6 articles which show that there are several interventions, such as exposure and behavioral activation, Cognitive-behavioral therapy, and healthy experience after a loss, that are effective in dealing with the problem of grieving for individuals who have experienced the loss of a partner, child, death due to suicide of a loved one and other forms of other disadvantages by using the internet. Conclusion: Internet-based interventions have the potential for nurses to modify nursing care in reducing the impact of loss and grieving on victims by providing a comprehensive online-based implementation so that it can be accessed more easily by nurses and patients. Latar Belakang: Kehilangan adalah keadaan di mana seseorang terlepas dari sesuatu yang ada sebelumnya, dengan kemungkinan sebagian atau seluruhnya tidak ada. Setiap individu akan merespon dan membutuhkan waktu yang berbeda untuk menerima sebuah kehilangan. Intervensi jarak jauh berbasis internet dapat menjadi alternatif intervensi tatap muka untuk terapi psikologis bagi orang yang mengalami kehilangan. Tujuan: Studi ini bertujuan mengeksplor intervensi berbasis internet dalam mengurangi gejala kehilangan dan berduka dengan metode rapid review. Metode: Literatur review ini menggunakan CINAHL, PubMed, Science Direct, dan Cochrane sebagai database pencarian artikel, dengan rentang tahun publikasi 2012-2022, dan fokus utama mengacu pada individu yang pernah mengalami kehilangan dan berduka. Hasil: Hasil pencarian terdapat 386 artikel, dan hasil seleksi mendapat 6 artikel yang menujukkan terdapat beberapa Intervensi seperti exposure and behavioral activation, Cognitive-behavioral therapy, serta healthy experience after a loss, efektif mengatasi masalah berduka bagi individu yang pernah mengalami kehilangan pasangan, anak, kematian akibat bunuh diri orang yang dicintai dan bentuk kerugian lainnya dengan menggunakan internet. Simpulan: intervensi berbasis internet menjadi potensi bagi perawat untuk memodifikasi asuhan keperawatan dalam menurunkan dampak kehilangan dan berduka pada korban dengan memberikan implementasi secara komprehensif berbasis online agar dapat diakses lebih mudah oleh perawat dan pasien.

Abstract

Background: The phenomenon of mental disorders is a phenomenon that continues to grow and has an influence on various aspects of life. One of the causes of mental disorders is the experience of traumatic events. Objectives: The purpose of this literature study is to find out what traumatic experiences the patient had before entering a mental hospital. Methods: The design used the narrative review method. The article search method used CINAHL, Pubmed, and Sciencedirect. The inclusion criteria were articles in English, a span of 10 years, full text, qualitative and quantitative, and respondents were patients in a mental hospitals. Results: The number of articles found and analyzed in this literature study was 8 articles regarding the traumatic experience of patients before entering a mental home. Conclusion: The experiences of patients before entering a mental hospital include the experience childhood trauma, post-disaster trauma, emotional trauma, and physical trauma.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Komunikasi tanpa pengawasan dalam lingkup sosial akan menyebabkan berbagai macam penyimpangan, seperti cyberbullying. Banyak remaja mempunyai pengalaman sebagai korban cyberbullying hingga terjadinya resiko keinginan untuk bunuh diri. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dampak cyberbullying terhadap resiko bunuh diri pada remaja. Metode: studi ini menggunakan pendekatan narrative review, dengan menggunakan framework PCC. Pencarian artikel menggunakan database EbscoHost, PubMed, dan Search engine Google Scholar, dengan kata kunci menggunakan boolean operators, yaitu “adolescents” OR “teenagers” OR “young adults” AND “cyberbullying” AND “social media” AND “suicidal ideation” OR “suicidal thoughts” OR “suicide”. Kriteria inklusi yang diterapkan meliputi populasi usia remaja, publikasi artikel 2012-2022, Full-text, Bahasa inggris atau Indonesia. Studi dieksklusi jika topik tidak membahas cyberbullying dan kategori usia dewasa. Hasil: Enam studi yang dianalisis, ditemukan bahwa pada remaja yang mengalami cyberbullying dapat berdampak pada kejadian bunuh diri. Kaitan antara cyberbullying dengan kejadian resiko bunuh diri lebih tinggi terjadi pada siswa perempuan, dan dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti keterhubungan sekolah, kecerdasan emosional yang rendah, dan gaya hidup tidak sehat seperti konsumsi alkohol dan merokok. Kesimpulan: Temuan kami menyoroti bahwa cyberbullying adalah masalah sosial yang ada di seluruh dunia. Hasil temuan narrative review ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh cyberbullying berdampak terhadap kejadian perilaku bunuh diri pada remaja

Abstract

The prevalence of convicts who abuse drugs continues to increase. Motivation is one of the main factors that hinders the recovery process. The role of nurses is crucial in handling efforts to improve recovery. The nursing intervention that can be carried out is Positive Self-Talk. Positive Self-Talk provides encouragement and motivation to make changes to individuals. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of positive self-talk on motivation to recover in prisoners who are victims of drug abuse. The research method used is quasi experimental with a pre-test and post-test with control group research design. The number of samples was 80 respondents with 40 respondents in the control group and 40 respondents in the intervention group who were drug users in Class II B Prison. The research was conducted over 7 days with 14 meetings and involved daily self-reports twice a day, in the morning and evening, using the University of Rhode Assessment Scale (URICA) questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate tests and bivariate tests, namely the Wilcoxon test and the Mann-Whitney test. The pre-test showed that 67.5% of the control group and 65% of the intervention group were in the precontemplation stage. However, the post-test showed significant changes with 57.5% of the control group moving to the contemplation stage, while 75.5% of the intervention group were at that stage. The results of the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney U tests strengthened significant differences between groups (p-value < 0.001). positive self-talk has a significant influence on motivation in drug abuse convicts. For further research to measure the precision of the effectiveness of the Positive Self-Talk intervention, it can be done by increasing the duration of the intervention. The recommendation is to integrate positive self-talk as an important part of the rehabilitation program by providing training to counselors in its application.

Abstract

Introduction: The impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic has disrupted various aspects, one of which is the education aspect which requires learning to be carried out remotely via video conference causing students to experience zoom tiredness. Besides that, as long as student study from the house via video conferencing, the potential happening decline in skills academic as a result competent students not achieved with good consequences from achievements motivation distracted students. Objective: The purpose of study he knew the connection Among Fatigue Zoom Levels with Achievement Motivation in student Faculty Nursing Universitas Padjadjaran in online learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Method: Population study student active S1 Faculty of Nursing Universitas Padjadjaran. Type study quantitative with design descriptive correlation. Sampling technique will use disproportionate stratified random sampling (n=271). The Instrument of study Zoom Exhaustion & Fatigue Scales for measure zoom tired and achievements motivation Scales for measure achievements motivation. Results: The results of data analysis were obtained sig. 0.000 < 0.05 with score correlation coefficient worth positive 0.289 which means strength relationship enough. Motivation owns a great influence on achieving learning. Although in implementation needed management good activity for avoiding possibility happening zoom tired. Conclusion: There is an adequate and positive relationship between zoom fatigue levels with achievement motivation in student Faculty of Nursing Universitas Padjadjaran during online learning in the pandemic period Covid-19.
