Abstract

Background: The celery plant (Apium graveolens L.) belongs to the Apiaceae family and is one of the vegetable commodities that is widely used for flavoring and decorating dishes with various health benefits. Objective: This study aims to determine the content of phytochemical compounds and analgesic activity of celery leaves. Through a systematic review article. Method: The research method with systematic literature review was carried out by searching for articles or journals related to phytochemical compound content and analgesic activities of celery. which had been published in journals. Literature search was conducted in April-May 2021 through Google Scholar, then journals were selected based on exclusion and inclusion criteria. Conclusions: The inclusion criteria, namely journals published last 5 years, the journal discusses the content of phytochemical compounds and analgesic activity of ethanol extract of celery leaves using the writhing test method. And as for the exclusion criteria, the data in the journal is incomplete and the journal does not discuss the celery plant. Based on the results of a systematic literature review of 5 published journals indicate that celery plant contains phytochemicals flavonoid compounds, tannins, saponins flavor-glucoside (apiin), apigenin and have analgesic activity.

Abstract

The development of financial technology has driven the transformation of payment systems from cash transactions to digital transactions, including the use of e-wallets in the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) sector. However, the adoption of this technology still faces various challenges, making it necessary to examine the effectiveness of its use in supporting community economic activities. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using e-wallets as payment transaction instruments replacing cash in MSMEs in Peterongan Village. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research subjects consisted of seven MSME actors and several buyers selected through purposive sampling based on the criterion of being active e-wallet users in business transaction activities. Data were collected through structured interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The field research was conducted in 2026 for approximately two months. The results of the study show that the use of e-wallets among MSMEs in Peterongan Village is effective based on five main indicators, namely ease of use, transaction speed, transaction security, accuracy of financial data recording, and efficiency in business financial management. E-wallets were considered easy to use because they have a simple interface and are supported by the QRIS feature. In addition, transactions were fast, secure, and recorded automatically and accurately. The conclusion of the study affirms that the use of e-wallets is effective as an alternative payment instrument replacing cash in MSMEs. The implications of this study indicate that the use of e-wallets can support operational efficiency, strengthen financial recording, and encourage digital transformation in the MSME sector at the village level.

Abstract

Rice is a strategic food commodity whose price fluctuations may affect consumer purchasing behavior. However, as a staple food, demand for rice tends to remain stable despite price changes in the market. This study aims to analyze the effect of price elasticity on rice demand at Ploso Traditional Market, Jombang Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected from 100 consumers through questionnaires, observation, and interviews. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, normality testing, linearity testing, simple linear regression, and t-tests. The results showed that price elasticity had a positive and significant effect on rice demand, as indicated by a regression coefficient of 1.089 and a significance value of 0.000. Nevertheless, rice demand still showed an inelastic tendency because consumers continued to purchase rice despite price changes. The conclusion of this study confirms that price changes affect rice demand, but the level of consumer response is relatively low because rice is a basic household necessity. This finding contributes to strengthening the study of consumer behavior toward staple food commodities and provides practical implications for the government and market stakeholders in formulating food price stabilization policies and maintaining household food security.

Abstract

Hospitalization causes pediatric patients to have received various treatments in the hospital such as invasive procedures.Hospitalization results in anxiety either to children or parents. Parental anxiety could be decreased by nurses' caring behavior. This research aimed to analyze the correlation between nurses' caring behavior with parents' anxiety levels related to an invasive procedure to pediatric patients in RSUD dr. Haryoto Lumajang. The research design was correlational descriptive with a cross-sectional approach. Purposive sampling was used with criteria of parents who have experienced accompanying invasive procedures in children with a minimum stay of a day. A total of 112 parents with a hospitalized child were included with purposive sampling technique. This study showed that participants had high perceptions of caring behaviors and 91% of parents had noanxiety. The result of Kendall tau b correlation test showed that p-value 0.036 (alfa = 0.05) and teta = -0.164. This study found that nurses' caring behavior correlated to parents' anxiety level related to an invasive procedure to pediatric patients in RSUD dr. Haryoto Lumajang. The correlation results showed a very weak relationship, however the higher nurses' caring during hospitalization may lower parents' anxiety because of an invasive treatment. This study indicated that nurses' caring behavior can reduce parents' anxiety. The application of caring behavior should be improved, particularly in pediatric nursing. As a result, caring as the essence of nursing can be achieved
