Abstract

AbstractIn the era of society 5.0, digitalisation has become a vital aspect in the development of education. However, unequal access to technology in rural areas, such as in Nepal, widens the education gap. Subhakamana Primary School in Nepal faces challenges related to limited technology devices, learning resources, and low educator skills in integrating technology into the curriculum. To overcome these challenges, community service conducted by the Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta aims to improve educators' competencies through the provision of digital hardware and interactive learning modules. Socialisation activities were organised using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach to introduce educational technology that is easy to use and beneficial to the learning process. The results of the needs analysis indicated the need for technology-based training and financial support for technology implementation. After the activity, educators reported increased confidence in using technology, and SD Subhakamana successfully integrated projectors and internet facilities to enrich students' learning experience. The programme is expected to serve as a model for other schools in the implementation of technology-based education, which can reduce the education gap between urban and rural areas and prepare students to face the challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

This community service initiative, conducted on May 20, 2025, at SMP Negeri 3 Bantul, Yogyakarta, aimed to enhance the digital teaching capacity of secondary educators through the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. Aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), the program focused on equipping 40 teachers with hands-on experience using Eduaide and MagicSchool platforms designed to support adaptive content creation and classroom engagement. Implemented in four stages, preparation, training, implementation, and evaluation, the workshop provided live demonstrations, guided practice, and reflective discussions. Pre- and post-tests revealed a significant improvement in participants’ understanding, with average scores rising from 2.1 to 4.3 out of 5, and 85% of teachers achieving proficiency. Qualitative feedback highlighted increased confidence, enthusiasm, and readiness to apply AI in lesson planning and feedback automation. Challenges such as limited internet access and initial unfamiliarity with digital tools were mitigated through mentor support and accessible learning materials. This initiative demonstrated the effectiveness of structured, contextualized AI training in transforming pedagogical practices and recommends ongoing mentoring, peer collaboration, and scalable digital modules for sustained impact. The project illustrates that even short-term interventions can meaningfully empower educators and promote inclusive, future-ready education in under-resourced communities.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and test the feasibility of a PHPRAD-based Electronic Archive learning media to improve digital archiving skills at SMK Negeri 44 Jakarta. This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data for this research were collected through validation by two material experts and two media experts, as well as response questionnaires from 32 students following a field trial. The data analysis technique used in this study combines descriptive quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results showed that the feasibility test yielded a score of 96.67% from material experts, 76.66% from media experts, and 87.84% from student responses, resulting in an overall average feasibility score of 87.06%, which is categorized as “Very Suitable.” Based on these results, the Electronic Archive learning media is deemed highly feasible and suitable as an alternative learning tool for the Digital Archiving material at SMK Negeri 44 Jakarta. This learning media effectively bridges the gap in digital archiving education by providing an innovative teaching tool. Furthermore, it also supports the mastery of practical skills relevant to the demands of the workforce, making it a highly recommended solution for optimizing the learning process at SMK Negeri 44 Jakarta.

Abstract

This study was designed to investigate how learning discipline and learning styles function as predictors of academic achievement among vocational high school students in Indonesia. Employing a quantitative approach, the research involved 105 respondents selected through stratified probability sampling. Data were gathered through structured questionnaires and supporting documentation. All statistical computations were performed using SPSS 29. Learning discipline emerged as a strong predictor (p = 0.000) with a contribution of 32.1%, while learning style also showed a significant effect (p = 0.002) with a contribution of 16.4%. These results suggest that both variables partially affect student achievement. Simultaneously, the ANOVA test yielded p-value of 0.000 with a combined contribution of 38.3%, indicating that learning discipline and learning styles together exert a substantial influence on the academic achievement of Grade XI and XII Office Management students in the Human Resource Management subject at SMK Negeri 46 Jakarta. These insights underscore the need for schools to foster structured learning habits and accommodate diverse learning preferences to optimize student achievement.
