Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model with the help of the GeoGebra application to increase students' learning motivation for geometric transformation material, especially translation. This study is a form of classroom action research carried out in two cycles in class XI E of High School 4 Palu involving 35 students. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection steps. In cycle I, the material is related to translation to points, while in cycle II, it is related to translation to lines. Data were collected through a learning motivation questionnaire and observation sheets, which were analyzed descriptively. The results indicated that students' learning motivation increased from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, only 6 students (17.1%) were included in the strong motivation category, while 11 students (31.5%) were included in the low category. After the improvement in Cycle II, the number of highly motivated students increased to 15 (42.8%), while those in the low group decreased to only 2 (5.8%). Observational data shows increased student engagement and enjoyment in learning. Consequently, the implementation of the GeoGebra-assisted PBL paradigm has proven successful in increasing motivation in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of code switching and code mixing of Makassar and Indonesian languages on Facebook social media and the factors causing it. The research method in this study is a qualitative research method. The data in this study are in the form of words, phrases, clauses or sentences containing elements of code switching and code mixing as well as the factors causing code switching and code mixing of Makassar and Indonesian languages in Facebook social media posts. The data source in this study is the upload of Facebook user accounts containing elements of code switching and code mixing of Makassarese and Indonesian languages. The data collection techniques in this study are documentation techniques and reading techniques. The results of this study indicate that the form of code switching in Facebook social media posts occurs between sentences, within sentences, and symbolic code switching. The form of code mixing is the insertion of elements in the form of words and the insertion of elements in the form of phrases. The factors causing code switching and code mixing are quoting other people, emphasizing something, the background of the speaker's attitude, and the linguistic background.

Abstract

Unsafe food is responsible for causing illness in approximately 1.6 million people per day worldwide, with around 40 percent of them being children. Food vendors have a significant potential to transmit diseases that can cause food poisoning. This study aims to assess the knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to personal hygiene among elementary school food vendors in Mamuju Sub-district, Mamuju Regency in 2023. The research method used in this study is descriptive research. The population in this study includes all food vendors at elementary schools in Mamuju Sub-district, totaling 30 vendors. The sample for this study is food handlers, using a total sampling method, with a total of 30 participants. The research variables are: knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding the personal hygiene of food vendors at elementary schools. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire based on the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 14 of 2021 concerning Standards of Business Activities and Products in the Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing in the Health Sector. Results: most respondents' knowledge falls into the good category, at 76.7%, most respondents' attitudes are also in the good category, at 96.7%, while most respondents' practices are in the poor category, at 70%. Conclusion: The majority of respondents have good knowledge and attitudes regarding personal hygiene, but these are not aligned with their practices, which are mostly in the poor category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine Work Stress in Employees in the Field of Apparatus Performance and Awards at the Regional Civil Service Agency of South Sulawesi Province. The approach and type of research used are qualitative research approaches and types of descriptive research, using data collection techniques that are carried out using observation, interview, and documentation methods. The data analysis techniques carried out are data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that work stress in Employees in the Apparatus Performance and Awards Division at the Regional Civil Service Agency of South Sulawesi Province exists because there are tasks that cannot be predicted in number and there are obstacles in their completion, there are also employees who increase working hours, in addition to the lack of adequate facilities such as computers, printers and slow internet connections so that it can hinder the work of employees and there are also employees who Given responsibilities outside their field so that it can cause work stress for employees. In personal factors, one of which includes family problems, employees who must divide between work and family responsibilities which cause concentration disorders and difficult time management because they have to divide work and responsibilities for their families.

Abstract

Nagari Rabi Jonggor merupakan kawasan yang memiliki lahan sawah yang luas yang menjadi aktivitas masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis perubahan penggunaan lahan sawah tahun 2015 – 2024 di Paraman Ampalu, Nagari Rabi Jonggor; (2) mengetahui struktur dan arah penggunaan lahan sawah menjadi permukiman atau penggunaan lainnya di Paraman Ampalu, Nagari Rabi Jonggor; (3) mengkaji dampak perubahan penggunaan lahan sawah tahun 2015 – 2024 terhadap kondisi ekonomi di Paraman Ampalu, Nagari Rabi Jonggor. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode mix methods yang menggabungkan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Menggunakan citra Sentinel – 2 tahun 2015 – 2024 menggunakan algoritma random forest serta analisis overlay untuk mengetahui perubahan spasial. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat penggurangan luasan sawah seluas 11,17 hektar dari tahun 2015 – 2024 akibat adanya konversi lahan menjadi permukiman dan perkebunan, struktur dan arah perubahan lahan mengikuti pola linear di sepanjang jalan utama yang menggabungkan bagian utara dan selatan Paraman Ampalu serta arah perubahan terbanyak dari sisi timur ke barat dan menyebar dari tengah ke selatan, perubahan lahan sawah di Paraman Ampalu lebih menimbulkan peningkatan pendapatn signifikan dan pergeseran mata pencaharian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Good Corporate Governance terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan profitabilitas sebagai variabel intervening pada perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di bursa efek indonesia pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 42 perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah teknik dokumentasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Perusahaan Perbankan yang Terdaftar di BEI. Penelitian ini menggunakan software SmartPLS (Partial Least Square) mulai dari pengukuran model berupa uji validitas dan reliabilitas, struktur model berupa uji R square dan uji t serta pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan GCG berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan, yang mana hal ini menunjukkan penerapan GCG yang baik dapat meningkatkan nilai perusahaan. Profitabilitas menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan, keuntungan perusahaan dapat meningkatkan nilai perusahaan. GCG terhadap Profitabilitas berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan, yang berarti peningkatan profitabilitas lebih besar dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Serta GCG menunjukkan pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan Profitabilitas, Efek langsung dari GCG dapat berkontribusi lebih banyak dan berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan nilai perusahaan yang diproksikan dengan menggunakan PBV.
