Abstract

Herbal antioxidants have gained attention recently as possible treatments for disorders of male reproductive function linked to oxidative stress because of their ability to neutralize free radicals. The investigation into herbal flavonoids for preserving oxidative stress-impaired testicular physiology has been effectively conducted through the visualization of bibliometric analysis. Bibliometric data of published papers collected from the PubMed and Scopus databases in 2018-2023. Network visualization was performed using VOSviewer software on the set keywords that occur (n=15). The literature review was conducted according to the research trends identified by the clusters that appeared in the network visualization. The result revealed that a total of 266 records have been published based on the specified search set keywords since 2018. Through the analysis of keywords, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and the relevant content of papers, 11 articles were identified as suitable for conducting a literature review. Network visualization revealed that the research falls into two general categories: (1) toxicity to the testicles caused by oxidative stress and (2) prevention of oxidative stress impact on tissue through herbal medicine. Examination of the paper's content revealed that certain antioxidant compounds from plants can stabilize free radicals in the testicles. These antioxidants include vitexin, diosmin, hesperidin, phenolic acids, naphthoquinones, fisetin, pachypodol, sciadopitysin, carvacrol, and morin. However, further research is needed to compare active antioxidant content in different herbal plants and identify optimal concentrations for therapeutic effects.

Abstract

The digital transformation era has fundamentally reshaped reading behavioral patterns among university students, particularly within Islamic higher education contexts where traditional literacy practices maintain profound cultural and pedagogical significance alongside emerging digital competencies. This empirical investigation examines reading modality preferences among Islamic Library and Information Science (IPII) students at UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten, analyzing relationships between five distinct reading modalities: traditional print-based reading, digital-mediated reading, academic-focused reading, leisure-oriented reading, and social media consumption patterns. A cross-sectional survey employed a 244-item validated questionnaire administered to 71 IPII students (72.4% response rate, N=98). Statistical analyses included descriptive statistics, Pearson correlations, factor analysis, and cluster analysis using SPSS 28.0. Digital reading demonstrated highest engagement (M = 3.68, SD = 0.52), followed by academic reading (M = 3.61, SD = 0.71) and traditional reading (M = 3.42, SD = 0.63). Strong positive correlations emerged between traditional and academic reading (r = 0.563, p < 0.001). Cluster analysis identified three profiles: digital-oriented readers (40.8%), balanced multimedia readers (32.4%), and traditional-preferenced readers (26.8%). IPII students exhibit complementary rather than competitive relationships between reading modalities, necessitating pedagogical approaches that integrate digital competencies while preserving traditional Islamic scholarly practices.

Abstract

The digital era has brought fundamental changes in education, particularly in the way students learn and teachers teach. This study aims to analyze the impact of technology integration in learning on improving students' academic quality and social skills in primary schools in the digital era. Digital transformation in education has brought significant changes in teaching methods, interaction between students and teachers, and students' learning patterns. Through a qualitative approach with literature study and structured observation in several elementary schools, this research found that the appropriate use of technology can improve concept understanding, accelerate access to information, and facilitate more personalized and adaptive learning. In addition, the integration of collaborative platforms and digital media also promotes the development of social skills such as communication, cooperation and empathy. However, the effectiveness of technology integration is highly dependent on infrastructure readiness, teacher competence, and proper guidance so that students do not get trapped in digital isolation. In conclusion, the integration of technology in primary school learning has great potential to support a more holistic transformation of education, not only improving academic quality, but also shaping a young generation that is socially competent and ready to face the challenges of the 21st century. This study recommends the importance of collaboration between education stakeholders, improving teachers' competencies and developing a contextualized digital curriculum as part of a long-term strategy in realizing quality and sustainable basic education
