Abstract

Hak pengelolaan perikanan (HPP) merupakan salah satu instrument pengelolaan perikanan yang mampu mengurangi laju tangkapan lebih dan meredam konflik perikanan. Di Indonesia penerapan HPP banyak dilakukan oleh masyarakat adat melalui kearifan lokal setempat. Penerapan kearifan lokal sebagai instrumen pengelolaan sumberdaya perikanan khususnya di perairan daratan saat ini masih sangat terbatas khususnya di Provinsi Riau. Penerapan HPP di perairan darat dapat dilihat di Desa Tambak Kabupatan Pelalawan melalui sistem pajak. Penerapan sistem pajak ini telah dilakukan secara turun temurun dan mampu meredam konflik antar sesama nelayan. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah mendeskripsikan sistem pajak sebagai instrument pengelolaan perikanan di sungai dan rawa banjiran berbasis kearifan lokal di Desa Tambak. Data dan informasi berasal dari hasil survei dan wawancara kepada para pemangku kepentingan yang diperkaya dengan studi pustaka. Desa Tambak memiliki potensi sumberdaya perikanan yang cukup besar dengan kegiatan perikanan tangkap lebih dominan. Penangkapan ikan di sungai-sungai dan rawa banjiran umumnya masih menggunakan cara-cara tradisional dengan metode sederhana. Di Desa Tambak setidaknya ditemukan + 53 jenis dengan rata-rata hasil tangkapan nelayan di lokasi lelang berkisar 6-10 kg/hari. Pelaksanaan sistem pajak murni sepenuhnya dikoordinir oleh ninik mamak. Lokasi yang dipajak sebanyak 20 danau dan pelelangannya dilakukan setiap tahun. Harga masing-masing danau yang dipajak akan berbeda-beda setiap tahunnya. Nilai masing-masing danau ini tidak ditentukan oleh ninik mamak tetapi tergantung dengan penawaran tertinggi dari peserta sehingga peserta dengan penawaran tertinggilah yang keluar sebagai pemenangnya. Penerapan sistem pajak sebagai instrument pengelolaan sumberdaya perikanan berkelanjutan sangat tepat sekali karena implementasinya mampu menjaga kelestarian sumberdaya perikanan dan meredam konflik.The auction system is a local wisdom developed in Langgam District, Kampar Regency and is still being implemented. Applying this auction system has provided benefits but still needs to be improved in preserving fish resources. Some of the auction system's weaknesses include tuguk, year-round fishing, and the absence of reservat. To ensure the sustainability of fish resources, it is necessary to improve the implementation of the auction system. This paper aims to describe the auction system “sistem pajak” as an instrument for managing fishery resources in rivers and floodplain based on local wisdom in the Langgam subdistrict and formulate policies to improve the auction system “sistem pajak” regulations. Data and information come from surveys and stakeholder interviews enriched by literature studies. Langgam subdistrict has a large potential for fisheries resources, with capture fisheries activities being more dominant using traditional methods. In the Langgam subdistrict, at least 53 species were found, with the average fishermen catch at auction sites ranging from 6-10 kg/day. Implementing the pure “sistem pajak” is coordinated by ninik mamak. The proceeds from the Pajak Sistem are used for social and development activities. Although implementing this”sistem pajak” can reduce conflict and provide economic benefits to the community, several policies need to be implemented, including i) banning the use of tuguk, ii) implementing an open-close fishing system, iii) creating fishery reserves (reservats), and iv) carry out periodic supervision involving Pokmaswas, auction winners and traditional leaders

Abstract

Sumber daya ikan di Sungai Kampar memainkan peran penting bagi masyarakat setempat, namun saat ini menghadapi ancaman overfishing. Salah satu pendekatan untuk mengatasi masalah ini melalui pengelolaan perikanan berbasis Hak Pengelolaan Perikanan (HPP), yang banyak diadopsi oleh masyarakat adat Indonesia melalui kearifan lokal. Salah satu model pengelolaan perikanan berbasis kearifan lokal yang banyak diterapkan disepanjang Sungai Kampar adalah "lubuk larangan”. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk menggambarkan penerapan lubuk larangan sebagai instrumen pengelolaan sumberdaya perikanan berbasis ekosistem di Sungai Kampar dan implikasi didalam penerapannya. Penerapan lubuk larangan sepenuhnya di bawah tanggung jawab ninik mamak dengan dukungan aktif dari masyarakat. Hasil lubuk larangan sepenuhnya diperuntukkan untuk pembangunan dan kegiatan sosial seperti membangun masjid, jalan, menyantuni anak yatim, kegiatan olah raga dan sebagainya. Penerapan "lubuk larangan" menunjukkan aspek penting dalam pengelolaan perikanan berbasis ekosistem, termasuk konservasi sumber daya perikanan, dukungan terhadap keseimbangan ekosistem, perlindungan spesies terancam punah, peningkatan hasil tangkapan jangka panjang, distribusi sumber daya ikan secara adil, pendekatan terpadu dalam pengelolaan, serta partisipasi dan pengawasan masyarakat.Fish resources in the Kampar River play an important role for local communities but are currently facing the threat of overfishing. One approach to overcome this problem is through fisheries management based on Fishery Management Rights, which is widely adopted by Indonesian indigenous communities through local wisdom. One fisheries management model based on local wisdom widely applied along the Kampar River is "lubuk larangan". The purpose of this paper is to describe the application of lubuk larangan as an instrument for ecosystem-based fisheries resource management in the Kampar River and the implications in its implementation. The full implementation of lubuk larangan is below ninik mamak's responsibility with active support from the community. The proceeds from lubuk larangan are fully intended for development and social activities such as building mosques, roads, assisting orphans, sports activities, etc. The application of "lubuk larangan" shows an important aspect in ecosystem-based fisheries management, including conservation of fisheries resources, support for ecosystem balance, protection of endangered species, increase in long-term catches, fair and equitable distribution of fish resources, an integrated approach to management, and community-based participation and supervision.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop CoreXY FDM 3D Printer that can be optimized for learning purposes. By detailing aspects of design, hardware, and software, this research is expected to make a significant contribution in improving the quality of learning. Research using the Research and Development method, carried out based on the Machine Learning System Development model with stages in the form of Problem Understanding, Data Handling, Model Building, and Model Monitoring. The results showed that the lowest average depreciation value in the 3D printer developed was smaller than the 3D Printer machine from the previous study. The best print quality was produced in experiment number 3 where the print results were almost flat and smooth. So that the best print parameters are produced at a layer thickness of 0.1 mm and a print speed of 60 mm / minute. Blackbox Test results show that all components of the 3D printer machine have been able to function properly. The results of the user trial questionnaire showed that the average value of all aspects received a value of 3.55 from a range of values 1-4, indicating that this machine is very good to be used as a medium in the learning process. Comparison of FDM CoreXY 3D Print printing process time after development shows shorter print time than FDM CoreXY 3D Printer machine before development.

Abstract

Mangroves are tropical trees that thrive in conditions intolerable to most woody species: saline, coastal waters subjected to relentless tidal fluctuations. Due to their significant carbon sequestration capacity, mangroves serve as a crucial weapon in the battle against climate change, yet they face global threats. By protecting mangrove forests, we can contribute to safeguarding our planet's future.The mangrove forest in Buruk Bakul village exemplifies a well-preserved mangrove ecosystem in Indonesia. Situated along the coast, this forest acts as a natural barrier, protecting the village from coastal erosion and saltwater intrusion. In 2024, the MBKM  Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) at the University of Riau implemented a project to cultivate and plant 1,000 mangrove trees in Buruk Bakul Village. This initiative aims to restore the mangrove ecosystem, enhance community awareness about environmental conservation, and provide students with practical experience in environmental conservation efforts.Therefore, a collaborative approach involving government agencies, local communities, and various stakeholders is essential to sustainably preserve and manage the mangrove forest in Buruk Bakul village.

Abstract

Rivers play a vital role in society by preserving clean water resources, cultivating fish, and supporting daily life. In Tanjung Pauh Village, the Singingi River has experienced a decline in water quality due to human activities, namely Unlicensed Gold Mining without permission activities. The research was carried out in March-May 2024. The method used in this research was field surveys and measurements of physical and chemical parameters. Sampling was carried out at three stations: Station 1, an oil palm plantation area; Station 2, a gold mining area; and Station 3, an area downstream of the Singingi River due to the confluence of the Sushadow River and the Singingi River. The research results show that the value of temperature ranged from 28.8 - 33°C, brightness ranged from 2.48-3.11 cm, turbidity ranged from 85.6 - 251.2 NTU, current speed ranged from 4.85 - 7.06 m/s, TSS ranged from 145–182.6 mg/L, and depth ranges from 350 – 533 cm. Chemical parameters, namely dissolved oxygen ranges from 5,5 – 5,7 mg/L, pH 5, BOD5 ranges from 3– 3.6 mg/L, TOM ranges from 11.7 – 15.2 mg/L, COD ranges from 85.3 – 297.3 mg/L. According to PP no. 22 of 2021 class III concerning the Implementation and Management of the Environment. The waters of the Singingi River are polluted, which falls into the mild to heavily polluted category. Abstract

Penyuluhan ini dilakukan pada tanggal 25 sampai 26 Juli 2020 yang berlokasi di Desa Mengkapan Kabupaten Siak. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada masyarakat Desa Mengkapan tentang peranan penting hutan mangrove bagi kehidupan manusia. Kegiatan penyuluhan ini memberikan manfaat kepada stakeholder diantaranya bagi peserta penyuluhan, masyarakat, anggota pelaksana penyuluhan, perguruan tinggi dan pemerintah daerah. Sasaran utama kegiatan penyuluhan ini adalah masyarakat yang tinggal di pesisir Desa Mengkapan dengan berbagai profesi sebanyak 30 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyuluhan ini metoda ceramah dan diskusi, kunjungan ke lokasi hutan mangrove, monitoring dan evaluasi. Metoda ceramah digunakan untuk menyampaikan materi di dalam kelas. Kunjungan lapangan dimaksudkan untuk melihat secara nyata fungsi mangrove sesuai materi yang telah disampaikan. Monitoring dilakukan untuk mengetahui perkembangan kegiatan pengelolaan hutan mangrove, terutama aktivitas dan minat masyarakat untuk ikut berpartisipasi dalam kelompok konservasi yang telah ada. Pada kegiatan ini juga dilakukan evaluasi yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pertambahan pengetahuan peserta penyuluhan serta partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan hutan mangrove. Dari hasil monitoring dan evaluasi diketahui bahwa tingkat pengetahuan dan partisipasi peserta tentang konservasi mangrove dan manfaatnya meningkat.

Abstract

Sungai Siak, Sail, dan Segati merupakan beberapa sungai besar di Provinsi Riau yang memiliki potensi sumberdaya perairan yang cukup tinggi dan juga memiliki karakteristik sungai yang berbeda-beda. Kualitas air sungai tersebut relatif rendah dari segi pH, TDS, warna, kekeruhan dan zat organik sehingga hasil air yang dijernihkan nantinya layak secara fisika, kimia, layak untuk mikroalga Chlorella sp. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian koagulan kapur, tawas, PAC (Poly Alumunium Chloride) untuk penjernihan air Sungai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli-Agustus 2023. Formulasi yang digunakan sebagai berikut: P1 (0,4 g/L Kapur, 0,25 g/L Tawas, 0,30 g/L PAC), P2 (0,35 g/L Kapur, 0,5 g/L PAC), P3(1,30 g/L Kapur, 1,50 g/L tawas). pH meningkat menjadi 7.0 - 7,7. TDS meningkat menjadi 259,1 hingga 489,1 mg/L. Warna berkurang menjadi 10 - 23 TCU. Kekeruhan berkurang menjadi 0,10 - 0,28 NTU. Zat Organik berkurang menjadi 5,5 - 9,3 mg/L. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa P1 (0,4 g/L Kapur, 0,25 g/L Tawas, 0,30 g/L PAC), P2 (0,35 g/L Kapur, 0,5 g/L PAC), P3(1,30 g/L Kapur, 1,50 g/L tawas) dapat meningkatkan air sungai di suatu wadah uji. Air yang telah diolah dengan P1(Kapur, Tawas, PAC), P2 (Kapur, PAC), dan P3 (Kapur, Tawas) mampu digunakan untuk pertumbuhan mikroalga dengan kelimpahan 352-3,000×104 sel/mL, dan paling tinggi kelimpahan yang diperoleh pada P3 dengan kelimpahan sebanyak 3,000×104 sel/mL

Abstract

Sampah laut adalah bahan padat persisten, yang terbuang dan ditinggalkan di lingkungan laut atau juga berasal dari buangan yang berasal aktivitas pemukiman di wilayah pesisir yang terbawa banjir mengalir ke wilayah pesisir dan laut, namun pada akhirnya sampah tersebut akan terpapar ke wilayah pesisir yang terbawa oleh arus Hutan mangrove memiliki manfaat dan peran penting dalam menjaga ekosistem kawasan pesisir, namum hutan mangrove juga mendapatkan tekanan dari beragam aktivitas lain seperti pencemaran sampah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis dan kelimpahan berdasarakan ukuran, jumlah, berat dan kepadatan sampah laut. Desa Kayu Ara Permai merupakan salah satu desa di kecamatan Sungai Apit yang memiliki kawasan ekowisata mangrove bernama Mangrove Sungai Bersejarah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Desember 2023 sampai Januari 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey, sekaligus penentuan lokasi menggunakan metode purposive sampling sedangkan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah garis transek. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan 6 jenis sampah laut berukuran macrodebris yang didominasi oleh sampah plastik sebanyak 531 item dengan nilai kepadatan 0,59 item/m2 . Jenis sampah laut paling berat adalah jenis kayu sebanyak 9.800 g dengan kepadatan 10,89 g/m2 . Hasil temuan ini menunjukan bahwa kawasan ekowisata Mengrove Sungai Bersejarah tercemar oleh sampah laut. Total sampah laut yang ditemukan sebanyak 599 item dengan total berat 22.020 g

Abstract

This research was conducted for five months from May to September 2022 which is located in Sungai Apit District by taking six (6) villages as sampling locations from the eight (8) existing villages. This research was conducted for five months from May to September 2022 which is located in Sungai Apit District by taking six (6) villages as sampling locations from eight (8) existing villages. The research objective was to calculate and assess the adaptive capacity of mangrove ecosystems in Siak District, Siak Regency. Measurement of the adaptive capacity of mangrove ecosystems is carried out by analyzing six parameters, namely Mangrove Dimension Index (IDMg), Dominant Mangrove Species, Mangrove Tree Density, Number of Mangrove Species, Substrate Type, Ecosystem Distance from Settlement. The value of the adaptive capacity of mangrove ecosystems is in the range of 0.0-1.0, with five capacity categories namely "very low, low, medium, high, and very high". The results showed that the number of mangrove species found growing on the coast of Sungai Apit District was 19 species belonging to 10 families and 12 genera, distributed in the "low" category with a mangrove dimension index (IDMg) value of 0.6 (0.4<IDMg <0.8).Dominant species from the Rhizophoraceae family with a density classified as "high". The adaptive capacity of the mangrove ecosystem at the study site is classified as "high" with an adaptive capacity value of 0.67 (0.6 ≤ KPMg ≤ 0.8).
