Abstract

Economic growth contributes to the high demand for public consumption, including thepurchase of vehicles which resulted in an increase in the consumption of fuel (BBM). Fuelconsumption at the four-wheeled vehicles (R4) is highly influenced by various factors thatdetermine the level of efficiency of use. Appropriate and accurate information aboutconsumption and fuel efficiency is needed to determine the various efforts related to theenergy saving, particularly for private cars that dominate the traffic in urban areas. Thestudy was done by quantitative descriptive using data and information obtained directlyfrom the user's private cars in jabodetabek area (Jakarta, Bogar, Depok, Tangerang andBekasi). R4 vehicle types consume the most fuel of premium compared with other types offuels (diesel or pertamax). "Sedan" is a type of vehicle with the largest percentage and themost efficient use pertamax (1 :9,3) than the others. The cylinder volumes and the vehicleage influence on fuel efficiency. Pertamax is the most efficient type of fuel in its use comparedwith other (gasoline and diesel).

Abstract

Transjakarta Buswatj is expected to be a mass public transport that can serve the people of Jakartaespecially in reducing the travel time. But aver time, the frequency of buswatj was unable to meet thedemand, causing the accumulation of passengers, especially during peak hours. That problem couldbe avercome btJ increasing the fleet of buses which is the headway can be shortened, but the tariff mustbe increase to rover the operating cost. The analysis of the data indicate that for 57.73% of respondentswilling to use busway rates to Rp 3,500 with 10-minute headway. If the tariff was raised to Rp4,000 with 9 minutes headwm;, only 45.2% of respondents willing to use the busway. In otherwords, respondents were only considering the rates and did not make headwm; and indicate that thepassenger of buswai; is mostly who move from other public transport.Keywords: Transjakarta, busway, headway, tarif

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the types of presuppositions in English teaching materials at SMAN 4 Palu. The method used in this research is discourse analysis of the English textbooks used in the eleventh grade, focusing on identifying examples of existential, factual, and structural presuppositions. Data were collected through critical discourse analysis techniques and interviews. The results of the analysis show that the teaching material at SMAN 4 Palu contains various types of presuppositions that can influence students' understanding. Existential presuppositions, such as "The President of the United States," assume knowledge about a particular entity, whereas factual presuppositions, such as "John stopped smoking," assume the truth of information that students may not know. Structural presuppositions, for example, the use of the word "again" in "He came back again," involve hidden assumptions that require contextual background for proper understanding. Findings show that teaching materials often contain presuppositions that are not relevant to students' local contexts, such as the use of examples from Western culture that students may be unfamiliar with. Therefore, adapting teaching materials to local contexts is very necessary. This research recommends the involvement of Palu regional teachers and education experts in curriculum development and the adaptation of teaching materials to make them more relevant to students' daily lives. By integrating local culture into teaching, students' understanding of texts can increase significantly, enhancing learning effectiveness and supporting the achievement of optimal learning outcomes.

Abstract

 ABSTRAK: Karies gigi adalah penyakit gigi dan mulut yang menjadi urutan tertinggi dalam kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Penyakit karies gigi banyak diderita anak usia sekolah. Angka kejadian karies gigi dipengaruhi oleh jenis kelamin dan umur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran indeks karies (DMF-T) pada murid MTs Nurul Ikhlas Tabing Kecamatan Koto Kampar Hulu Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau. Disain penelitian yang digunakan bersifat deskriptif. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari tahun 2022 yang melibatkan seluruh murid di MTs Nurul Ikhlas Tabing berjumlah 133 orang. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian yaitu “total populasi”. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan pemeriksaan indeks DMF-T. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata indeks DMF-T pada murid MTs Nurul Ikhlas Tabing Kecamatan Koto Kampar Hulu Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau adalah 5,4 berada pada kategori tinggi, rata-rata indeks DMF-T berdasarkan jenis kelamin pada murid perempuan dan laki-laki sama sama berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata pada murid perempuan lebih tinggi dibandingkan laki-laki yaitu 5,9 dan 5,0. Rata-rata indeks DMF-T berdasarkan umur diperoleh rata-rata indeks DMF-T umur 12-16 tahun sama-sama berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata umur 15 dan 16 tahun yang tertinggi yaitu 6,5. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah rata-rata indeks DMF-T pada murid MTs Nurul Ikhlas Tabing Kecamatan Koto Kampar Hulu Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau berada pada kategori tinggi. Kata Kunci : Karies, Indeks DMF-T dan Murid MTs

Abstract

The learning process is very influences of appropriate learning method that are adapted to the material and condition of thr students. In this research the writer applied the Project Based Learning method which aims to improve students understanding and learning outcomes in Ecosystem material. The sample used in this research were 35 students in class VII of SMPN 4 Tanjungpinang. The results of data analysis, it was obtained the percentage of understanding and student learning outcomes in the learning process without applying the Project Based Learning methode, namely pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2 had an average 60,85, 75,43, and 90,00. From these result, it can be seen that there is an increasing in understanding and student learning outcome. It means that students are able to understand the biological material about ecosystem. This increasing in learning out comes is caused by the habits of students who have below average abilities to participate in the process of completing good learning. This increase in learning outcomes can be achieved because of activities in the form of planning, implementation, data collection and reflection. Beside the activeness of students in participating in the learning process in the pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2, and the attitude of collaboration in direct observation of Moringa trees in the school environmens.

Abstract

Islamic finance principles emphasize fairness, transparency, and risk-sharing in financial transactions, with Mudharabah contracts being a prominent embodiment of these principles. This research explores the transformative potential of blockchain-based smart contracts in Mudharabah arrangements. Smart contracts offer automated, transparent, and Shariah-compliant execution of Mudharabah agreements, addressing traditional challenges such as information asymmetry, moral hazard, and trust issues. By enabling real-time profit and loss sharing, risk management, and streamlined dispute resolution, smart contracts enhance the efficacy and trustworthiness of Mudharabah partnerships. The objective of this study is to examine the potential of Smart contracts in addressing the limitations and enhancing the Mudharaba contract, with the intention of its potential application by Islamic financial institutions. The findings show that the application of smart contracts has the potential to significantly enhance the technological, operational, and Sharia compliance aspects of the Mudharaba contract.

Abstract

The increasing trend of addictive substance use among young people is thought to be in line with the increasing pressure in all areas of life. Teenagers who are unable to deal with it can easily escape, gain pleasure and peace by using NAPZA. BNN uncovered 768 cases of narcotics crimes with 1,209 suspects. The purpose of this community service is to provide knowledge about NAPZA and its dangers to health to adolescents in Laut Dendang Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. The methods used were distributing questionnaires before conducting counseling, providing education through lectures, video screenings and questions and answers, as well as providing pocket books and banners about the dangers of NAPZA and distributing questionnaires after counseling. From this community service, it was obtained that the knowledge of participants in the good category increased from 57.5% to 70% after education was carried out in the form of lectures and video screenings about NAPZA and its dangers to health.

Abstract

When viewed from a historical perspective, marriage existed and was carried out before the arrival of Islam. However, it is known that marriages carried out before Islam tended to be more towards political reasons not based on love, impressed because of the power factor so that at that time men could have more than one wife, dozens or even unlimited. The culture of marriage for men who have more than one wife is known as polygamy. Historically, the culture of pre-Islamic polygamy was carried out by ancient civilizations so that the Arabian peninsula, especially the Middle East, was not the main propagator of the polygamous tradition, which is often embedded. Therefore, one of the prominent scholars, namely KH. Husain Muhammad described in his writings that the tradition of polygamy was not a tradition that originated in Islam. Formulation of the problem of how to analyze polygamy related to non-Islamic traditions according to KH. Husein Muhammad and why KH. Husein Muhammad is of the view that polygamy is not an Islamic tradition? The research method used is qualitative research of the type of literature study, the approach used is a historical approach related to Islamic studies, this research is descriptive-analytical with the object of research being polygamy not Islamic tradition. The research results conclude that the culture of polygamy didn’t originate from Islam, because pre-Islamic polygamy in practice seemed misogynistic and tended to dehumanize after Islam arrived. Polygamy improved this situation with the main principles of justice and prioritizing women's rights.

Abstract

Objective This study proposes a conceptual framework of Zakat based management model using blockchain technology with its transparent, secure, auditable, and efficient system in order to enhance the trust in zakat agencies.Design/methodology This study is based on literature and theoretical reviews. This study took BAZNAS as the model of the Indonesian zakat agency to use Blockchain-based zakat payment on which zakat payers can track the fund allocated to the beneficiaries directly.Results This research demonstrates the importance of Blockchain and smart contract technologies in zakat management by developing a model that combines zakat management agencies with the components of Blockchain and smart contract technologies.Research limitations/implications The proposed model can contribute to the sustainability and efficiency of zakat agencies and is in line with the poverty eradication effort in Indonesia.
