Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in a shift in hybrid-based learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the push-pull mooring effect is able to increase student behavior transition to hybrid learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research population is all active students of the Faculty of Economics. The sample used was 146 respondents, with non-probability sampling technique. The data collection technique was an online questionnaire method with an interval scale of agree (scale 7) to disagree (scale 1). Data analysis technique was based on Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM PLS) using WarpPLS 5.0 program. The results showed that the push effect, pull effect, mooring effect, decision self efficacy and motivation and intention switching had an effect on switching behavior. While the push and pull effects have no effect on switching behavior through motivation and intention to switch and decision self-efficacy, in contrast to the mooring effect which has a significant effect. The findings of this study are that hybrid learning has not been able to improve student performance than offline learning, so the student behavior to switch to hybrid learning still needs to be improved.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini menganalisis keterkaitan antara tingkat pendidikan dan partisipasi tenaga kerja di Indonesia berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Februari 2024. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat pendidikan, semakin besar peluang individu untuk memperoleh pekerjaan dengan pendapatan lebih tinggi. Namun, lulus Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) memiliki tingkat pengangguran yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan lulusan Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA), Diploma, dan Universitas. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan yang diperoleh di SMK belum sepenuhnya selaras dengan kebutuhan industri. Lulusan perguruan tinggi juga menghadapi kendala dalam memperoleh pekerjaan yang sesuai dengam bidang keahlian mereka. Selain tingkat pendidikan, faktor lain seperti lokasi tempat tinggal dan usia turut mempengaruhi kesempatan kerja seseorang. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, diperlukan strategi seperti penyelarasan kurikulum dengan kebutuhan industri, peningkatan kualitas pendidikan vokasi, serta memperluas akses ke pendidikan tinggi. Langkah-langkah ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas tenaga kerja, mengurangi tingkat pengangguran, serta memastikan kesesuaian antara keterampilan lulusan dengan permintaan pasar tenaga kerja. Dengan demikian, pembangunan sumber daya manusia dapat lebih optimal dalam mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat strategi yang dilakukan mahasiswa UNNES dalam meningkatkan pendapatan melalui bisnis antar-jemput. Bisnis ini semakin diminati karena fleksibel dan mudah dijalankan sambil kuliah. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, menggunakan kuesioner untuk melihat motivasi dan dampak bisnis ini terhadap keuangan mahasiswa. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kebanyakan mahasiswa memilih bisnis ini karena bisa menambah penghasilan tanpa mengganggu waktu kuliah. Kendaraan bermotor dipilih karena biayanya lebih murah dan lebih lincah untuk menghadapi kemacetan. Tantangan yang paling banyak dihadapi adalah persaingan dengan mahasiswa lain dan kesulitan mengatur waktu antara kuliah dan bisnis. Secara keseluruhan, bisnis ini cukup membantu keuangan mahasiswa tanpa mengganggu nilai akademis mereka secara signifikan.

Abstract

Open unemployment is one of the main challenges in economic development, with the unemployment rate in Central Java fluctuating due to various factors, including education and gender. This study aims to analyze the influence of education level and gender on the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) in Central Java Province during the period 2019–2022. The data for this study were obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and analyzed using multiple linear regression with a quantitative approach. Our findings indicate that the level of education has a significant effect on the open unemployment rate. Meanwhile, the gender variable does not significantly affect the open unemployment rate. Simultaneously, education level and gender have a significant effect on the open unemployment rate, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 41.5%, indicating that other factors beyond this study also influence the unemployment rate. Strategic measures are needed to reduce the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) by strengthening the link between education and the industrial sector, as well as implementing responsive policies to support employment opportunities for all individuals.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of digital learning orientation on innovative work behavior, with readiness for change as a mediating factor and organizational learning culture as a moderating factor, as well as its contribution to sustainable development in Indonesia's education sector. This research utilizes the job demand-resource model and the social exchange theory framework. With a quantitative approach and clause associative design, the study population includes all active students from various disciplines at state universities in Central Java Province. The sample was selected using a non-probability sampling method of 218 respondents. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire utilizing an interval scale ranging from strongly agree (scale 7) to strongly disagree (scale 1). The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) approach through the WarpPLS 5.0 software. The findings indicate that digital learning orientation indirectly influences innovative work behavior through readiness for change. Moreover, this indirect effect, mediated by readiness for change, is moderated by organizational learning culture, mainly when the moderation level is low. At an optimal level of organizational learning culture, digital learning orientation significantly boosts innovative behavior by promoting greater readiness for change. However, at this level, organizational learning culture no longer plays a significant role in predicting outcomes. The novelty of this study lies in incorporating organizational learning culture as a moderating factor in the connection between digital learning orientation and readiness for change in the context of sustainable development within the education sector.

Abstract

Ketidaksetaraan gender dalam ketenagakerjaan masih menjadi tantangan di Indonesia. Budaya patriarki, norma sosial, pendidikan, serta kebijakan yang kurang inklusif menjadi faktor utama yang menyebabkan rendahnya partisipasi perempuan dalam angkatan kerja dibandingkan laki-laki. Data dari BPS tahun 2023 menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan signifikan antara tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja laki-laki dan perempuan di berbagai provinsi. Selain itu, perempuan sering kali menghadapi diskriminasi dalam bentuk kesenjangan upah, akses terbatas terhadap pendidikan dan pelatihan kerja, serta anggapan sosial yang membatasi peluang mereka di dunia kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dan analisis kuantitatif berbasis data sekunder untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ketidaksetaraan gender dalam ketenagakerjaan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana pengaruh gender terhadap TPAK.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor pendidikan, ekonomi, dan budaya memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat partisipasi perempuan dalam dunia kerja. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kebijakan ketenagakerjaan yang lebih inklusif serta upaya peningkatan akses perempuan terhadap pendidikan dan pelatihan kerja guna menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih adil dan setara bagi semua gender.

Abstract

Education plays a strategic role in improving labor productivity, particularly in the manufacturing sector which demands high skills and work efficiency. This research aims to analyze the influence of education on labor productivity through a comprehensive literature review approach. Various national and international literature were systematically analyzed to understand how education level contributes to skill improvement, innovation, and labor efficiency. The findings show that workers with higher education levels tend to have better technological understanding, can adapt to industrial changes, and contribute more significantly to production efficiency. Studies in Indonesia indicate a positive correlation between education level and labor productivity in the manufacturing sector, with productivity increases of 5-15% for each higher education level. Additionally, investment in education has proven to positively impact company competitiveness and overall economic growth. This research recommends the need for education policies aligned with industry needs, strengthening link and match programs, and improving vocational curriculum quality to create competent and adaptive workforce in the industrial revolution 4.0 era.

Abstract

This article aims to present a global empirical review of the study of financial behavior related to education, money saving, and consumption, as well as its contribution to research on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to social justice in quality education (SDG 4) and gap reduction (SDG 10). Data and metadata from 1180 articles published between 2015 and 2024 were taken from the Scopus database, and analyzed using a bibliometric approach, with the help of classical methodologies and VOSviewer software. The results of the analysis show exponential growth in scientific production over the past few decades, concentration on twelve specific journals indexed in Scopus, the global dominance of United States universities in institutional co-authoring networks, and conceptual separation of financial behavior by theme and time. We conclude that there is a two-decade evolution in relevant topics and concentrates on three main blocks: financial education; savings and consumption decisions; financial and investment literacy, which shows a temporal evolution that results in a variety of visions in the relationship between the development of individual financial behavior and global markets. Given the importance of understanding the impact of education and financial literacy on personal saving, consumption, and investment behavior, further studies of financial behavior can be conducted through this research and assessment of the results obtained

Abstract

Di tengah derasnya arus globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi digital, perusahaan dihadapkan pada tantangan baru dalam mengelola sumber daya manusia (SDM). Meski penuh tantangan, kondisi ini juga memberikan peluang besar untuk meningkatkan daya saing. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji bagaimana manajemen SDM dapat berperan dalam mendorong peningkatan kinerja karyawan, khususnya dengan melibatkan serikat pekerja sebagai mitra strategis. Kajian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, menganalisis lebih dari 51 jurnal ilmiah yang bersumber dari portal Sinta, Garuda, dan Google Scholar. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kompetensi, lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, tingkat komitmen, serta motivasi karyawan memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap performa kerja mereka. Di sisi lain, serikat pekerja memiliki peran penting dalam memastikan hak-hak pekerja terpenuhi, memperluas akses terhadap pelatihan, mendorong kesetaraan gender, dan membantu pekerja beradaptasi dengan kemajuan teknologi. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan perlu menerapkan strategi pengelolaan SDM yang lebih luwes, inklusif, dan berbasis teknologi agar mampu menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung transformasi dan pertumbuhan karyawan. Pendekatan manajemen SDM yang kolaboratif dan berpandangan jauh ke depan menjadi kunci untuk membentuk tenaga kerja yang tangguh dan mampu bersaing di kancah global.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain an effective strategy for increasing students' statistical application literacy competency through Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in the Statistics Applications course. Research methods used experimental design, learning statistical applications using practical computer program software applications in a computer laboratory with the PjBL model. The control class teaches statistical applications without using projects, but is tasked with individually carrying out data processing practices. The research results show increased literacy competency in IT-based statistical applications or computer software in learning. The pre-test and post-test results for the experimental class, Sig 0.000 < 0.05, indicate a significant difference. The N-Gain result is 61.79 in the medium category. The level of motivation to learn statistical applications in the control group was 65.2% in the medium category, while the motivation in the experimental group was 82.67% in the high category. In this way, the PjBL model can increase motivation for literacy competency in statistical applications in economics education students. Students' literacy competency in statistical applications can increase; in the experimental class, the post-test score was obtained = 85.158, and they were skilled and able to use the mastered software creatively. Carry out continuous development of statistical application literacy by being innovative, creative, experienced, and competent to analyze data efficiently.
