Abstract

In the hold of the fishing boat, it is currently unable to control the pH of the water in accordance with the living environment of the fish. The pH of the water also needs to be considered so that the fish can survive. In addition, fish feeding on fishing vessels is also very necessary. The purpose of this research is to design a system that can control pH, fish feeding, fish water replacement. in the fish hold using an IoT-based microcontroller. The method used in this research uses quantitative methods through system design, design software design models, product trials.This method is used This research method includes steps taken to design and implement the system, as well as tests carried out to ensure the performance and success of the designed system. The results of the data designed by the system are analyzing the data in testing this tool according to its function. The accuracy of using the tool when feeding is 90.5% and the percentage error is 9.5%. The accuracy of using the tool when draining mode is 100% with a percentage error of 0%. And for the results of the percentage error of the pH sensor when the mode is on by 100% with a percentage error of 0%. This shows that the Smart Pond system designed has a high level of accuracy in terms of fish feeding and pond draining.

Abstract

KUPP II Rangga Ilung Organizing Unit Office, in implementing ship activity document management services, changed services from manual to integrated and systemized services through the Inaportnet application on July 1, 2023. The implementation of Inaportnet at the KUPP II Rangga Ilung Office, there are obstacles, namely the internet network and the readiness of the ship agency's human resources. Therefore, it is hoped that these obstacles can be resolved. This research aims to determine the influence of the internet network and the readiness of ship agency human resources on the implementation of Inaportnet in the KUPP II Rangga Ilung Office area. The type of research used in this research is a combination method. This research was carried out at the KUPP II Rangga Ilung Office over a period of 7 months. The population used in this research is a purposive sampling technique which includes a non-probability method totaling 30 agency company samples. The data sources in this research use primary and secondary data using data collection techniques: observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and literature review. With data analysis techniques, namely multiple linear regression tests. The results of this research are that the internet network variables and human resource readiness have a positive and significant effect together on the implementation of Inaportnet in the KUPP II Rangga Ilung Office area with a coefficient of determination influence value of 98%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mooring costs and handling costs on the effectiveness of dry bulk loading and unloading. In supporting activities at the Port, the process of loading and unloading dry bulk often has cost factors that can affect the effectiveness of completion time. The method used is quantitative, which is analysed with SPSS version 27 with several components, such as assumption tests, classical, correlation coefficient, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that mooring fees have a significant and positive effect on the effectiveness of loading and unloading, where an increase in mooring fees encourages the acceleration of the loading and unloading process. handling costs partially do not show a significant effect on effectiveness, but simultaneously with mooring fees have a significant effect. This research provides insight for PT Berlian Manyar Sejahtera in optimising operational cost management to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of loading and unloading activities

Abstract

Terminal Petikemas Nilam merupakan salah satu terminal logistik strategis yang berada di Surabaya, Jawa Timur, dan dikelola oleh Subholding PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas (SPTP). Sebagai area operasional dengan risiko kecelakaan kerja yang tinggi, Terminal Petikemas Nilam menerapkan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) sebagai bagian dari fungsi HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment). Namun, berdasarkan data tahun 2024, terdapat 24 kejadian kecelakaan kerja, menunjukkan bahwa implementasi K3 masih perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal serta merumuskan strategi implementasi K3 yang lebih efektif menggunakan analisis SWOT, IFAS, dan EFAS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Terminal Petikemas Nilam memiliki beberapa kekuatan seperti fasilitas APD lengkap, sistem digitalisasi, dan pelaksanaan safety induction. Di sisi lain, kelemahan utama termasuk kemacetan di akses gate, kurangnya personel keamanan, dan rendahnya kesadaran Tenaga Kerja Bongkar Muat (TKBM) terhadap budaya K3. Berdasarkan analisis SWOT, strategi yang direkomendasikan meliputi pemanfaatan teknologi kartu akses dan portal otomatis, peningkatan pelatihan K3, serta penambahan jumlah security. Matriks IE menempatkan Terminal Petikemas Nilam pada posisi “Hold and Maintain”, sehingga strategi yang sesuai adalah fokus pada efisiensi operasional, perbaikan kelemahan, serta optimalisasi peluang.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Sea Toll Program, specifically Route T-26, with a focus on its outcomes and tangible benefits for the community in Fakfak Regency, West Papua. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method using statistical analysis through a paired sample t-test. Primary data were collected through field observations and interviews with relevant agencies such as the Directorate of Sea Traffic and Transportation and field implementation consultants, while secondary data were sourced from the 2024 operational report of Route T-26. Data collection techniques included field observation, primary surveys, document studies, and secondary data analysis. The findings indicate that the Sea Toll Program contributes to improving logistics distribution, lowering the prices of several key commodities, and reducing household expenditures, although statistical tests showed that the price differences were not significant. The implications highlight the need to optimize the volume and regularity of Sea Toll voyages to strengthen economic resilience in remote, outermost, underdeveloped, and border areas (3TP).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of port integration of PT Berlian Manyar Sejahtera with JIIPE Industrial Estate on logistics distribution efficiency. The background is the existence of distribution costs in Indonesia, which are relatively expensive. The integration of ports with industrial estates and other factors could cut distribution costs. The purpose of this research is to find out how many percent of the influence of proximity distance for distribution costs and also the time in the distribution process. In this research, a quantitative methods is used which is assisted by a software, namely SPSS version 27. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, documentation, and literature study. The data used includes the distance from the port to the warehouse receiving goods, distribution rates, and the length of time in the loading and unloading process. The results of the analysis show that there is an influence between distance, costs, and tariffs in the distribution process. And how this integration is significantly beneficial for service users

Abstract

Ports are critical infrastructure in maritime transportation, facilitating the movement of goods and people while serving as hubs for economic activities. The Tanjung Pakis Class III Harbormaster and Port Authority Office (KSOP) utilizes the Electronic Reporting Information (SIRANI) application for reporting loading and unloading data. However, challenges such as discrepancies, technical disruptions, and delays in data processing often arise. This study aims to describe the loading and unloading data processing and the efficiency of reporting time on the SIRANI application at KSOP Class III Tanjung Pakis. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and documentation, the research finds that data processing is less effective due to low data validity and errors in the Inaportnet platform. Reporting to SIRANI is also inefficient due to delays in data handling and technical issues with the application. Corrective measures, such as early data verification and manual data handling by reporting officers, have improved effectiveness by reducing the process from five to three steps and cutting reporting time from 6 hours to 3 hours and 30 minutes. The study concludes that optimizing data processing and inter-unit coordination can enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of reporting. Recommendations for future research include real-time integration and the development of backup mechanisms to address technical disruptions.

Abstract

To support the smooth operation of activities at the port and jetty, adequate facilities and operational systems are required. Long waiting times can reduce the efficiency of the loading and unloading process and hinder other operational processes. Delays can increase the operational cycle of ships, raise operational costs, and decrease port productivity. This study aims to examine the impact of ship waiting time on the efficiency of the coal discharge and loading process at PT. Adhika Samudera Jaya. Efficiency in the loading and unloading activities is crucial for increasing productivity and reducing operational costs. The research employs a quantitative method, with data collection through direct observation and documentation. The results indicate that the duration of ship waiting time significantly affects the efficiency of the discharge and loading process, where longer waiting times lead to longer loading and unloading durations. Key factors influencing waiting time include equipment readiness, weather conditions, shipping management, and cargo availability. By improving operational planning and speeding up facility readiness, the efficiency of the coal discharge and loading process can be optimized. This finding is expected to serve as a reference for companies and port authorities in improving the quality of coal loading and unloading services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality on user satisfaction in the process of Business Activity Notification (PMKU) at the KSOP Class III Talang Duku Office. The research is motivated by several on-site challenges, including users’ lack of understanding in completing documents, repeated submissions, system technical issues, and low awareness among companies regarding licensing obligations. This research employed a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires and direct observation during the Land Practice (PRADA) program. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis, a regression coefficient of 0.175 was obtained with a significance value of 0.003, indicating a positive and significant influence of service quality on user satisfaction. The R Square value of 0.133 shows that 13.3% of the variation in user satisfaction can be explained by service quality, while the remaining 86.7% is influenced by other factors outside the model. The t-test results confirm that service quality has a partial effect on user satisfaction, and classical assumption tests indicate that the regression model meets the requirements of normality, linearity, and homoscedasticity. Based on these findings, it is recommended that service quality be improved through user education, the digitalization of technical guidelines, the optimization of the Inaportnet system, and the implementation of an early warning system, in order to make PMKU services more effective, efficient, and in line with user expectations.

Abstract

Industri pelayaran memiliki peran penting dalam dunia transportasi khususnya dalam akses angkutan antar wilayah. Salah satu aspek penting yang menjadi prioritas adalah dengan menjaga kelancaran proses operasional angkutan salah satunya di PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental Balikpapan. Berdasarkan pada studi survey lapangan, maka didapatkan hasil bahwa faktor pergantian crew yang ada pada PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental Balikpapan menjadi permasalahan diantaranya dokumen pendukung yang belum siap saat waktunya naik dan adanya faktor internal keluarga seprti sakit ataupun gaji yang belum sesuai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam proses crew change terhadap kelancaran operasional kapal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini maka didapatkan bahwa proses pengurusan Crew Change memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kelancaran operasional kapal. Hal itu dibuktikan dari persamaan regres linier sederhana yaitu Y = 33,514 + 0.611 X yang berarti bahwa semakin cepat proses crew change maka tingkat kelancaran operasional kapal akan meningkat. Hal itu didukung dari hasil uji t dengan nilai t hitung> t tabel. Disamping itu hasil uji koefisien determinasi menyatakan nilai R square sebesar 0,644 yang artinya pengurusan crew change berpengaruh terhadap kelancaran operasional kapal sebesar 64,4 %.
