Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman tekhnologi penggunaan berbagai macam aplikasi media belajar dan memberikan inspirasi kepada para pengajar untuk memberikan model pembelajaran yang kreatif agar siswa dapat semangat dan tetap mendapatkan pendidikan yang berkualitas sehingga menjadi generasi tangguh dan hebat di masa mendatang. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan berbentuk interaksi langsung antara pemateri dengan para pengajar (guru) dengan memberikan secara langsung contoh pelaksaan pekerjaan dengan menginput materi pembelajaran dan absensi melalui aplikasi dibawah lisensi Google dan mencari materi belajar yang menarik sehingga menjadikan materi belajar online terlihat bagus dan menjadi perhatian bagi siswa.

Abstract

There is a lack of information systems that can facilitate the laundry business in reaching the market, so an application is needed to provide information to be known by many people in the city of Banda Aceh. One is by delivering information using the nearest laundry location search application. With the help of the internet and smartphones, it can make it easier for people to find the nearest laundry. The researcher is interested in designing a smartphone application to provide information on the nearest laundry. This study aims to create information media to develop an artificial intelligence-based laundry location search application model and a laundry location search application model with mobile Computing in Banda Aceh. The stages of this research are field observation, application design and design, application trials, research implementation permits, research data collection, and analysis of research results. The research implementation is located in the city of Banda Aceh. This research method is included in the Research and Development (RD) development category. The data collection used is as follows: notes on the results of interviews, field observations, and data related to informants. The results of this study are in the form of an application that provides information on the location of the nearest laundry from a distance of the user automatically when the application is run, and the user can search for the lowest price, 4+ star branches, and laundries that provide Pickup services.

Abstract

Kebutuhan energi listrik yang terus meningkat mendorong peralihan ke sumber energi terbarukan seperti panel surya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi tentang penggunaan panel surya rooftop kepada guru dan siswa SMP Negeri 5 Kota Lhokseumawe. Metode kegiatan meliputi ceramah, demonstrasi panel surya mini, dan diskusi interaktif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta mengenai energi surya dan minat terhadap teknologi energi bersih. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal bagi pihak sekolah untuk menerapkan panel surya sebagai sumber energi alternatif yang ramah lingkungan. Dari hasil kuisioner nilai pemahaman para peserta ratanya – ratanya jawaban yang benar hampir 100%.

Abstract

This study develops an IoT-based Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) filling prototype for vertical sterilizers using the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the filling process in palm oil mills. The system incorporates a non-contact distance sensor to ensure precise measurement and integrates IoT technology and a Telegram bot for real-time monitoring and automation. Testing results indicated that the HC-SR04 sensor achieved high accuracy, maintaining a low tool failure rate of 0.036%, making it highly reliable for industrial applications. Visual and audio indicators, including LEDs and buzzers, were used to enhance user awareness and safety during the filling process. By automating and optimizing FFB loading, the system minimizes operational inefficiencies commonly associated with manual filling methods and improves safety by reducing human intervention. These findings suggest that the developed prototype can provide significant operational benefits to the palm oil industry and other sectors requiring similar improvements in productivity and sustainability. Future research will focus on refining the prototype and evaluating its scalability for broader industrial use.

Abstract

Transformator arus merupakan komponen pokok dalam peralatan pengukuran dan proteksi yang berfungsi melindungi relay khususnya pada industri yang memakai tegangan tinggi maupun rendah. Pemeliharaan dan pengujian yang baik sangat diperlukan agar trafo arus menjadi lebih baik dari segi umur dan kualitasnya. Untuk itu, diperlukan pemeriksaan dan pengujian trafo arus termasuk tingkat error-nya saat diproduksi ataupun saat pemakaian secara rutin agar terus terpantau kualitasnya. Studi ini menyajikan komparasi hasil pengukuran trafo arus menggunakan alat ukur Omicron CPC 100 untuk pengukuran tingkat error trafo arus dengan tegangan 24 kV dengan persentase injeksi arus 100%, 50%, dan 25%. Trafo arus yang diuji adalah trafo arus seri 17CI00020. Selanjutnya hasil pemeriksaan dan pengujian tersebut dibandingkan dengan standar yang berlaku. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa trafo arus yang diuji memiliki tingkat error yang sesuai dengan standar SPLN D3.014-1: 2009 dengan kelas akurasi 0,2. Pada pengujian trafo arus dengan injeksi 100% memiliki tingkat error yang paling baik yaitu 0%. Sedangkan pengujian dengan injeksi arus 50% dan 25% memiliki tingkat error lebih tinggi yaitu masing-masing 0,18% dan 0,29%.

Abstract

The design of a temperature monitoring and stabilization system on a microcontroller based cold region outdoor jacket by utilizing microcontroller technology, by ensuring user comfort while in a cold temperature environment. This research is shown specifically in cold areas, with the aim of preventing hypothermia commonly experienced by climbers or humans, who are active in cold areas. The results of the system research on outdoor jackets that can monitor and stabilize the user's body temperature automatically, especially in cold areas. This system uses an ESP32 microcontroller, which is equipped with the Blynk application to control and monitor temperature using a smartphone. When the ambient temperature drops below 20°C, the system automatically activates the carbon fiber heating pad to maintain a stable body temperature. The jacket is designed to function offline, where the system will rely on the temperature sensor to activate the carbon fibre heating pad if the temperature drops below 20°C. Test results show that the system works well, providing efficient results in power consumption, responsive to temperature changes, and effective in maintaining temperature stability. The resulting jacket is comfortable and safe so that it does not interfere with outdoor jacket users in various conditions.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged the government to carry out digital transformation in administrative governance, one of which is through the implementation of the SRIKANDI Application (Integrated Dynamic Archive Information System). This application is designed to support the management of electronic archives and correspondence integrated across government agencies. This study aims to analyze the efficiency and effectiveness of the SRIKANDI Application in supporting government administration, focusing on service speed, documentation accuracy, and resource efficiency. The method used in this study is a mixed methods approach with a sequential explanatory design. Quantitative data were collected by distributing questionnaires to employees who used the application to assess perceptions of efficiency and effectiveness. Furthermore, qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews and document analysis to delve into the quantitative findings and explore contextual factors that influence application implementation. Data analysis is carried out in stages, starting with descriptive and inferential statistical analyses for quantitative data and with thematic analysis for qualitative data. This research is expected to contribute to the development of an electronic government system and serve as a reference for evaluation and policymaking related to bureaucratic digitalization. In addition, the results of this study are also expected to strengthen the literature on the effectiveness of government information systems and provide an empirical picture of the practice of implementing the SRIKANDI Application in government agencies.

Abstract

Unemployment is a significant socio-economic problem in Lhokseumawe City that requires serious attention from policymakers. The unemployment rate fluctuates from year to year, making accurate forecasting an important aspect in formulating effective strategies and policies to reduce unemployment. One method that can be used to analyze and forecast time series data with uncertainty is the Fuzzy Time Series (FTS) method, which applies fuzzy logic concepts to handle vague and imprecise data patterns. In this study, the Fuzzy Time Series method is applied to predict the number of unemployed people in Lhokseumawe City. The data used are historical unemployment data over a period of 10 years, from 2013 to 2022. The research process begins with defining the universe of discourse (U), determining the number and length of interval classes, defining fuzzy sets on U, and fuzzifying the unemployment data. Furthermore, Fuzzy Logical Relationships (FLR) are identified and grouped into Fuzzy Logical Relationship Groups (FLRG). The defuzzification process is then carried out to obtain crisp values, followed by forecasting calculations.The analysis was conducted using the RStudio application. The forecasting results show that the predicted number of unemployed people in 2023 is 10,514.125, which is rounded to 10,514 people. The accuracy of the forecasting model is evaluated using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) and Average Forecasting Error Rate (AFER), both of which yield values of 6.70%. Since the MAPE and AFER values are less than 10%, the forecasting results can be categorized as very good and reliable for decision-making purposes.

Abstract

This research aims to design and build a prototype device for detecting iron (Fe) and manganese (Mn) metals in packaged drinks using a salinity sensor processed using the Kalman filter method. Packaged drinks are a popular choice due to their convenience and variety of flavors, but their metal content needs to be monitored to prevent health risks. This system was designed using an Arduino Uno microcontroller as the main controller, with a salinity sensor to detect Fe and Mn levels, and an LCD as the data display. Testing was conducted by comparing the device's detection results with laboratory data obtained from the Banda Aceh Industrial Standardization and Services Center. The results showed that the device was able to detect Fe with an accuracy of 98.48% and Mn with an accuracy of 100%. The average measurement error for Fe was 1.52%, while for Mn, the error was 0%. These results demonstrate that the designed device functions well and has high accuracy, thus potentially being used as an independent test tool for the suitability of packaged drinks.

Abstract

Indonesia has many oil palm plantation areas. One of the negative impacts is the large amount of empty fruit bunch (EFB) waste. Utilizing EFB as a bio pellet as a renewable energy source is one of the solutions to reduce waste while supporting the green energy transition. EFB bio-pellets have the potential to replace fossil fuels, but face challenges in setting good quality standards. The production process of EFB bio-pellets uses a variety of binder contents. This study aims to analyze the influence of different levels of binder content on the quality of bio-pellet products. Statistical analysis of linear regression was performed to measure energy consumption and motor performance in the production process of EFB bio-pellets. This study provides recommendations to help maximize the quality and efficiency of the bio-pellet production process from palm oil EFB waste.
