Abstract

This study examines the influence of teaching competence, learning motivation, and learning environment on students’ academic achievement. Using a quantitative explanatory research design, data were collected from 250 students through structured questionnaires and academic performance records. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to examine both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The results indicate that teaching competence, learning motivation, and learning environment significantly and positively affect students’ academic achievement. Among these variables, learning motivation was identified as the strongest predictor of academic performance. Furthermore, teaching competence and learning environment were found to significantly influence learning motivation, which in turn mediates their effects on academic achievement. The model explains 62% of the variance in academic achievement, demonstrating strong explanatory power. These findings highlight the importance of enhancing teacher competence, fostering student motivation, and creating supportive learning environments to improve educational outcomes. The study provides practical implications for educators, school administrators, and policymakers in designing strategies that promote academic excellence.

Abstract

Zakat is a central pillar of the Islamic socio-economic system aimed at promoting social justice and human well-being. In Malaysia, zakat research has traditionally focused on institutional governance and distribution efficiency. However, recent studies increasingly explore the human impact of zakat, particularly from psychosocial and behavioral perspectives. This study synthesizes recent zakat research in Malaysia by examining the psychosocial and behavioral dimensions associated with zakat recipients, zakat payers, and zakat institutions. Using a qualitative literature review approach, this study analyzed 20 empirical and conceptual articles published between 2021 and 2025. Relevant studies were identified through database searches in Google Scholar, Scopus-indexed journals, and regional academic databases using keywords related to zakat, psychosocial well-being, zakat compliance behavior, and zakat institutions in Malaysia. The selected studies were screened for titles, abstracts, and full texts before being coded and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal four dominant themes in the literature: psychosocial well-being of zakat recipients (asnaf), psychological determinants of zakat payment behavior, counseling and psychosocial support within zakat institutions, and innovation in zakat distribution systems. The analysis shows that research on zakat payment compliance remains dominant, while studies examining psychosocial recovery and empowerment among zakat recipients remain limited. In addition, counseling-based interventions within zakat institutions are still rarely examined empirically. These findings suggest the need for more holistic zakat research that integrates economic, psychological, social, and spiritual perspectives. Future studies should explore intervention-based models and empowerment-oriented approaches to strengthen zakat's role in sustainable human development.

Abstract

Abstrak: Al-Qur'an adalah kalamullah yang diturunkan kepada Nabi Muhammad SA W sebagai mukjizat yang ditulis dalam mushaf dan diriwayatkan secara mutawatir. Membacanya adalah ibadah. Al-Qur'an diberikan kepada manusia dan jin untuk tujuan memberi petunjuk dan membedakan antara kebenaran dan kesesatan. Dengan munculnya berbagai metode yang dikenal sebagai "tafsir", hal itu tidak terlalu baru dalam konteks pemahaman kitab suci Alquran. Dalam tafsir, berbagai terminologi pendekatan dan berbagai disiplin ilmu muncul. Tafsir Tarbawi adalah ijtihad akademisi dalam tafsir yang berusaha mendekati Al-Qur'an melalui lensa pendidikan, baik dari sudut pandang teoretik maupun praktis. Diharapkan ijhtihad ini dapat membangun sebuah paradigma tentang pengertian pendidikan yang didasarkan pada kitab suci dan dapat diterapkan sebagai nilai-nilai dasar dalam pendidikan. Penelitian perpustakaan ini menggunakan sastra sebagai sumber utama dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Akibatnya, peneliti melakukan langkah- langkah berikut untuk memeriksa data primer dan sekunder: membaca dan memeriksa buku-buku, pra-studi, tesis, dan disertasi tentang tafsir yang berkenaan tentang pendidikan. Oleh karena itu kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah mengetahui sejarah penulisan yang berkenaan tentang tafsir pendidikan. Kata kunci: Tafsir Pendidikan, Al- Quran

Abstract

Tafsir Muqarran, yang dikenal sebagai metode tafsir komparatif, mengusung pendekatan kritis dalam memahami Alquran dengan cara membandingkan ayat-ayat yang memiliki kesamaan tema, konteks, atau struktur kebahasaan. Dalam menggali makna yang terkandung, tafsir ini mengintegrasikan aspek historis, budaya, dan bahasa untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih menyeluruh terhadap wahyu Tuhan. Proses analisis tafsir muqarran diawali dengan mengidentifikasi ayat-ayat yang memiliki keterkaitan, baik melalui tema yang sama, pengulangan frasa tertentu, atau konteks historis yang serupa. Selanjutnya, penafsir memeriksa perbedaan dan persamaan antara ayat-ayat tersebut, dengan fokus pada penyelidikan linguistik untuk menyoroti makna tersirat yang mungkin tidak langsung terlihat. Melalui pendekatan ini, tafsir muqarran bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang wahyu Allah, memperkaya penafsiran ayat-ayat Alquran dengan menyusun kembali elemen-elemen yang saling terkait. Dengan mengeksplorasi dimensi komparatif ini, tafsir muqarran menciptakan kerangka penafsiran yang mendorong pemahaman yang lebih kaya dan kontekstual terhadap ajaran Alquuran. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tren publikasi, kolaborasi penulis dan institusi, serta perkembangan tematik dalam studi Universal Design for Learning (UDL) dalam konteks pembelajaran abad ke-21 melalui pendekatan bibliometrik. Data dikumpulkan dari basis data Scopus dengan rentang waktu 2010–2024 dan dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak VOSviewer. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Amerika Serikat merupakan pusat kolaborasi global dengan keterhubungan luas terhadap negara lain, sedangkan negara-negara Asia Timur mendominasi produktivitas penulis dalam klaster tersendiri. Secara tematik, literatur UDL berkembang ke arah dua kutub utama: pendekatan pedagogi inklusif dan integrasi dengan teknologi cerdas seperti machine learning dan artificial intelligence. Visualisasi temporal dan heatmap mengungkapkan bahwa topik-topik berbasis teknologi cenderung meningkat dalam tiga tahun terakhir, menunjukkan pergeseran fokus riset ke arah personalisasi pembelajaran berbasis data. Temuan ini memberikan gambaran menyeluruh mengenai arah perkembangan UDL dan membuka peluang integrasi multidisipliner dalam menjawab tantangan pendidikan digital yang inklusif dan adaptif.

Abstract

The role of teachers in education is very important to shape the character of students at school. The teacher's role as an educator is an example, role model, and figure identified by students. In schools, religious culture and religious tolerance will be formed if teachers prepare themselves with qualities such as responsibility, authority, independence and discipline. The aim of this research is to find out how teachers play a role in instilling the values of tolerance in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students. Research findings show that teachers play an important role in instilling attitudes of tolerance in their students. The strategies they use for teaching include collaboration in class, using learning materials that support the principles of tolerance, and holding open discussions. These findings show how teachers try to build students' characters who are open and tolerant of differences. This strengthens the contribution of education to building a more just and inclusive society. This research can contribute to curriculum development and teacher training to improve the results of efforts to instill the value of tolerance at the madrasah ibtidaiyah level. Instilling the value of tolerance is carried out through learning activities using methods such as providing examples, providing direction, habituation, storytelling activities, game activities, and the use of media. The aim of implementing tolerance for students at school is as a means of training so that students are more able to implement and develop a broader attitude of tolerance when living in society.
