Abstract

The purpose of learning maharoh qiroah is to familiarize students with understanding what they read from books or other things, they can understand it properly and quickly without difficulty. However, in maharoh qiroah learning there are several obstacles including learning using which is boring for students, students have difficulty understanding the material being taught. To overcome this problem, researchers offer maharoh qiroah teaching using hypnoteaching, in order to create dynamic and intertwined teaching, and increase their enthusiasm to get the desired results. This aims of this research to find out how yelling, magic questions, and emotional clocks are applied using the hypnoteaching method in maharoh qiroah learning at MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Malang; and to find out how far the effectiveness of using the hypnoteaching method is in learning maharoh qiroah at MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Malang. This research is quantitative and qualitative approaches, and data collection uses pre-test and post-test, direct observation, and interviews. In analyzing the data, the researcher used an independent sample test t-test. The results of this study are that hypnoteaching can to make students feel confident in receiving the material, to increase students' enthusiasm in learning, to create rapprochement between teachers and students, and to create a positive learning environment: encourage students to participate actively in learning, can increase the joy and enthusiasm of students in learning, and make the learning atmosphere fun; The magic questions can provide student learning solutions, provide psychological encouragement to students, and direct student learning goals; The emotional hours can help maintain calm during learning, and make students disciplined in participating in learning; Whereas for the Independent Sample Test results obtained significant results (0.00) smaller than (0.05), these results indicate that the hypnoteaching method is able to improve learning outcomes of maharoh qiroah. And from the N-Gain Score test, the results for the experimental class were 50,59%, so it was found to be effective

Abstract

The al-Munawwir Dictionary by Ahmad Warson Munawwir is one of the most popular dictionaries for Arabic language learners in Indonesia. The use of dictionaries is undoubtedly beneficial for students in understanding the meaning of words and how they are used in oral and written expression. This study aims to describe the lexicography concept of the al-Munawwir dictionary and how the al-Munawwir dictionary is weighed through the perspective of al-Qosimi. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of research in the form of library research. The primary source of this research is the al-Munawwir dictionary, while the secondary sources are books, journals, and other sources that follow the research theme. Data collection uses documentation techniques. The collected data were analyzed through three stages (Miles and Huberman): data condensation, data display, and data verification. The results of the study show that the al-Munawwir (Arabic-Indonesian) dictionary can be categorized as 1) a language dictionary (Al-Mu'jam al-Lughawi), 2) a bilingual dictionary (al-Mu'jam al-Tsunaiyatu al-Lughah), 3) extensive dictionary (al-Mu'jam al-Kabir), 4) general dictionary (al-Mu'jam al-Aam), and 5) word dictionary (Mu'jam al-Alfadzh). This dictionary fulfills 16 of the 25 components of the content conveyed by Al-Qosimi. This dictionary met 9 out of 10 criteria, especially in the central part. This shows that in terms of content, this dictionary is excellent because the central part is not equipped with a postulate of use.

Abstract

This research started from the need of the Muhammadiyah Al-Munawarah Institute for teaching some Arabic language lessons, including teaching composition. Teaching composition in it used various materials so that the educational production did not achieve the desired educational goal. This research aims to: 1) Reveal the process of developing the educational material for teaching composition in light of the contextual approach at the Muhammadiyah Al-Munawarah Institute in Malang. 2) Know the validity of the educational material for teaching composition developed in light of the contextual approach at the Muhammadiyah Al-Munawarah Institute in Malang. 3) Measure the effectiveness of using the educational material for teaching composition developed in light of the contextual approach at the Muhammadiyah Al-Munawarah Institute in Malang. This research is a qualitative and quantitative research using the research and development method. The results of the research are: 1) The educational material was developed in light of the contextual approach that benefits from the development steps of Borg and Gall, which consist of needs and problems analysis, data collection, production design, production validation, first production experiment, production modification, second production experiment, second/final modification. The developed product is in the form of a book, consisting of the introductory pages (cover, introduction, material content, material usage guide), the main pages (vocabulary, text and exercises), and the last page (author's biography), 2) The validity of the developed product according to experts is very good, 3) The developed composition teaching material is effective for students at the Institute of Muhadiyat al-Munawarah Malang, as the value of t-calculation = 9.2 and was greater than the theoretical t-value of 2.145.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of character education values and their internalization in Arabic language learning for tsnawiyah students of Dayah Al Muslimun Lhoksukon North Aceh. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, and the data collected are the results of observations, interviews and documentation. Data analysis in this study used Miles Huberman's interactive analysis theory. The data analysis technique in this study begins with collecting data, presenting, reducing and concluding. The results of this study indicate that the value of character education values contained in Arabic learning materials in the book Arabiyah Baina Yadaik for Tsanawiyah students, namely: religious values, ethical values, tolerance values, disciplinary values, complex work values, independent values, democratic values, curiosity values, national spirit values, recognizing excellence, communicative values, reading values, environmental care values and responsibility values and the value of character education values are internalized into the process of Arabic learning stages through teaching materials, learning models and evaluation (authentic assessment).

Abstract

This book review discusses Elizabeth's journey as a mother and teacher who combined her personal and professional experiences to design a language teaching method that engages the five senses. The book “Teaching World Languages with the Five Senses, Practical Strategies and Ideas for Hands-On Learning” that resulted from her research provides deep insights into language acquisition in the brain. Each book’s 11 chapters address various topics, from language learning in the brain to five-sense teaching methods to cultural responsiveness in the 21st-century language classroom and decolonizing the world language curriculum. Emphasis is placed on teachers adapting to student diversity, dealing with learning anxiety, and providing approaches that support higher-order thinking skills. Suitable for all language teachers worldwide, this book presents an innovative approach involving the five senses in language learning, emphasizing a basic understanding of the brain as a foundation for more effective teaching practices.

Abstract

The capitalist system implemented in an area will inevitably give rise to conflict and social alienation as well as bad influences that can be felt by society. The study of Marxism was born as a form of criticism of the capitalist system and a solution to the problems caused by capitalism, namely social conflict and alienation. The aims of this research is to reveal the impact of conflict and proletariat alienation on Sudanese society. This research uses qualitative research methods, with a Marxist literary sociology approach. There are two data sources, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection was carried out through reading techniques and note-taking techniques. In analyzing the data, researchers used the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana analysis model in which there are three stages, namely data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this research is the effects arising from the conflict and alienation experienced by proletariat towards Sudanese society in the novel "Al-Junqu Masamirul Ardh" are very bad, including hoping for the bourgeoisie, enduring suffering, carrying out resistance or revolution, and being trapped in hopeless despair. where the bourgeoisie greatly benefits, while the proletariat (workers) suffers greatly. Abstrak  Sistem kapitalisme yang diterapkan di suatu wilayah pasti melahirkan konflik dan alienasi sosial serta pengaruh buruk yang dapat dirasakan oleh masyarakat. Kajian Marxisme lahir sebagai bentuk kritikan terhadap sistem kapitalisme serta solusi dari masalah-masalah yang disebabkan oleh kapitalisme, yaitu konflik dan alienasi sosial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk menyingkap pengaruh konflik dan alienasi para pekerja terhadap masyarakat Sudan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra Marxisme. Terdapat dua sumber data, yaitu sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik baca dan teknik catat. Dalam menganalisis data, peneliti menggunakan model analisis Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana yang terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah pengaruh yang timbul dari konflik dan alienasi yang dialami oleh para pekerja terhadap masyarakat Sudan dalam novel “Al-Junqu Masamirul Ardh” sangatlah buruk antara lain berharap pada kaum borjuis, menanggung penderitaan, melakukan perlawanan atau revolusi, dan terjebak dalam keputusasaan yang mana kaum borjuis sangat diuntungkan, sedangkan kaum proletar (para pekerja) sangat dirugikan.

Abstract

Dakwah yang keberlanjutan itu penting sekali guna membentuk perilaku keseharian masyarakat. Kajian Al Qur’an-Hadits dalam pembacaan Ratib Al-Haddad, bisa membuat gaya hidup komunitas sosial menjadi kuat secara mental dan spiritual, dinamis dalam komunikasi dan kontak sosial. Riset ini dilakukan dengan tujuan memetakan peningkatan religius spiritual dan etika sosial melalui ngaos kitab bulughul maram dan membaca Ratib Al-Haddad di Desa Pager Pasuruan. Peninjauan ke lokasi, interview dan dengan kelengkapan dokumentasi merupakan instrument penelitian jenis Participatory Action Research (PAR), telah diambil sampel secara purposive sampling, analisis data dengan teknik triangulasi maka penelitian ini menghasilkan beberapa aspek terindikasi. Aspek kualitas spiritual, karena kesadaran diri memerlukan Tuhan maka jumlah jama’ah shalat 5 waktu Desa Pager meningkat. Aspek peningkatan etika dan interaksi social, meningkat dengan bertambah masyarakat terikat Masjid dibandingkan keterikatan dengan tempat-tempat umum atau hiburan lain, otomatis kepedulian sesama meningkat. Aspek pemahaman keagamaan, terindikasi dari peningkatan frekuensi dan variatif pertanyaan seputar tema maupun diluar tema dari jamaah Masjid Shirotol Mustaqim.

Abstract

Appropriate teaching tools, students' proficiency, and students' lack of confidence. These problems occurred at Al-Mahara Islamic International School in Malang. Therefore, through this research, the researcher aims to offer a solution to these problems by applying the Busuu application to improve speaking skills for seventh-grade students at Al-Mahara Islamic International School in Malang. The hypothesis of this study is that the use of the Busuu application to enhance speaking skills is effective. This research employs a quantitative, descriptive, pre-experimental design using pre-test and post-test formats. The research variables include independent and dependent variables. The average pre-test score was 72.60, and the average post-test score was 80.80. Comparing the pre-test and post-test values, the t-value was 4.459, and the significance value (2-tailed) was 0.000, indicating a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results. The t-value (4.459) exceeded the t-table value (2.093). This indicates that the hypothesis of this research, Ha, is accepted, and Ho is rejected, meaning that the application of the Busuu application is effective in improving speaking skills for seventh-grade students at Al-Mahara Islamic International School in Malang.

Abstract

This study aims to improve community welfare by developing budikdamber. By introducing new tools and more efficient cultivation methods, this study makes a real contribution to the Wanasari Village, Brebes community. The socialization and training carried out succeeded in increasing community interest in Budikdamber. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for the development of budikdamber in other areas.

Abstract

Abstract. This research examines the relationship between words and it’s meaning in religious terms and their impact on the formation of social identity, based on Ludwig Wittgenstein's language games theory. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing literature review and social discourse analysis of religious terms within the social context of Indonesian society. Terms such as hijrah, jihad, sharia, kafir, and bid'ah are analyzed to understand how their meanings shift and evolve over time. The findings reveal that the meanings of these terms are dynamic and heavily influenced by social contexts and usage within the community, playing a significant role in shaping and reinforcing the social identity of specific groups. Thus, this study emphasizes the importance of understanding religious terms within a broader socio-cultural framework, where language functions not only as a means of communication but also as a dynamic instrument for shaping social identity. By demonstrating how the shifting meanings of religious terms influence group boundaries and social interactions, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of religious discourse and its role in the negotiation of identity within Indonesian societyKeywords: word, meaning, religious discourse, language game, contemporary Islam
