Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the principal's role on the quality of education in Madrasah Aliyah throughout Lasem District, Rembang Regency. Madrasahs play a strategic role in shaping academically and religiously outstanding generations; however, the quality of education in the region remains low. The study involved 101 teachers from three madrasahs using a quantitative approach and an ex post facto method. Data were collected through questionnaires measuring the variables of the principal's role and education quality. The analysis results indicate a positive and significant influence between the principal's role and education quality, with a correlation coefficient of 0.717 and a significance value of 0.000 in the ANOVA test. This suggests that the principal's role contributes 51.4% to improving education quality. The administrative role dimension was found to contribute the most, whereas the supervisory role has not been optimally implemented. These findings highlight the importance of effective educational leadership in enhancing the quality of education in madrasahs and the need for managerial strategies that can facilitate sustainable improvements in education quality.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of educational fund management, community participation, and financial supervision on the quality of education in public junior high schools (SMP Negeri) in Cepu District. Using a quantitative approach with a correlational method, the study involved 191 teachers, with 129 selected as samples through stratified random sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, assumption tests, and regression analysis. The findings show that: (1) educational fund management positively influences education quality by 10.1%, (2) community participation has a positive impact of 22.7%, (3) financial supervision affects education quality by 23.7%, and (4) all three factors together contribute 34.3% to education quality. The study concludes that improving education quality requires effective fund management, enhanced community participation, and transparent financial supervision. Abstract

This study examines the role of school principals as managers and supervisors in improving academic quality at SMK Negeri 1 Sale, Rembang Regency. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings highlight the principal’s role in designing academic programs, managing resources, and fostering a conducive learning environment. As a supervisor, the principal provides guidance and evaluation to enhance teachers’ pedagogical competence. Effective academic supervision leads to improved teacher performance and student achievement. The success of this process relies on communication and support from all school stakeholders. The study concludes that strengthening the principal's leadership and supervisory skills should be prioritized in educational policies. Keywords: Principal; Manager; Supervisor; Academic quality

Abstract

This study aims to explore in depth the experiences and perspectives of school principals in fulfilling their roles to enhance the quality of education at Taman Kanak-Kanak Taman Indriya (Taman Indriya Kindergarten), Boja Subdistrict, Kendal Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, focusing on the subjective meaning of participants' lived experiences. The data used in this study consist of the principals’ and teachers’ narratives obtained through in-depth interviews, observational field notes recorded during school activities, and relevant documents such as school programs, supervision notes, and teacher activity records. The data were analyzed using a phenomenological analysis technique following the stages of data reduction, coding, theme development, and meaning interpretation based on the lived experiences of participants. Through this process, the findings reveal that the principal perceives her role as a manager in designing and organizing programs participatively, as a leader who fosters positive relationships and work motivation, and as an innovator who develops contextual learning and promotes active parental involvement. These three roles are carried out reflectively and adaptively in response to the institution’s challenges and needs. This study underscores the importance of a humanistic and contextual leadership approach in managing early childhood education. The findings have implications for strengthening the leadership capacity of ECE principals based on a deep understanding of real-world contexts and lived experiences.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of school principal leadership and school organizational climate on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Singorojo District, Kendal Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population consisted of 268 teachers from 30 public elementary schools, from which 160 respondents were selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire using a Likert scale and analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression techniques. The results showed that both school principal leadership and school organizational climate significantly influence teacher performance, both partially and simultaneously. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen bursa kerja khusus dalam menjalin kemitraan dunia usaha, dunia industri dan dunia kerja (DUDIKA) di SMK Negeri 1 Kedungwuni. Fokus penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengendalian BKK dalam menjalin kemitraan dengan DUDIKA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang hubungan masyarakat, ketua BKK, DUDIKA, dan alumni. Observasi langsung terhadap pelaksanaan dan pengendalian. Adapun dokumentasi terkait perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengendaian dianalisis untuk memastikan validitas data. Keabsahan data diuji dengan credibility, transferability, dependability, dan confirmability. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan BKK dalam menjalin kemitraan dengan DUDIKA dilaksanakan dengan baik dengan melibatkan berbagai pihak dalam prosesnya. Dalam tahap perencanaan, penyusunan program BKK dilakukan dengan menetapkan tujuan dan keadaan BKK berdasarkan analisis SWOT (strenght, weakness, opportunitty, dan treaths). Tahap pengorganisasian dilakukan melalui rapat koordinasi pembentukan tim BKK. Pelaksanaan Kemitraan DUDIKA dijalankan oleh tim BKK untuk memastikan program kemitraan dengan DUDIKA berjalan dengan baik. Pengendalian dilakukan sesuai SOP, serta evaluasi dilakukan untuk menentukan tindak lanjut pelaksanaan program BKK. Penelitian ini menemukan beberapa tantangan dalam pengelolaan BKK. Salah satu kendala utama adalah petugas BKK sedikit dengan tugas ganda. Selain itu, kebutuhan dan jadwal yang tidak menentu dari pihak DUDIKA membuat tim BKK dituntut untuk bekerja secara tepat. Upaya yang dilakukan BKK adalah dengan bekerja secara profesional dan juga selalu menjaga komunikasi yang baik dengan DUDIKA.Kata Kunci: Perencanaan BKK, Pengorganisasian BKK, Pelaksanaan BKK, Pengendalian BKK, Kemitraan DUDIKA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi peran sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SD Negeri Salamsari Kec. Boja melali optimalisasi peran tripusat pendidikan. Subjek Penelitian ini dengan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, guru, orangtua, dan peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian, Optimalisasi mutu pendidikan membutuhkan sinergi yang kuat antara sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat. Sekolah harus berinisiatif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi para pemangku kepentingan, sementara pemerintah dan masyarakat perlu memberikan dukungan yang lebih besar, baik dalam hal sumber daya maupun kesadaran. Selain itu, peran orang tua juga sangat penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, sehingga diperlukan kerja sama yang erat antara sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat. Sekolah dapat mengadakan program pelatihan dan sosialisasi untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan orang tua, sementara orang tua diharapkan lebih sadar dan aktif dalam mendukung pendidikan anak-anak mereka. Tak hanya itu, masyarakat juga memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Kolaborasi antara sekolah, masyarakat, dan pemerintah dapat diperkuat melalui berbagai program edukatif yang bertujuan meningkatkan partisipasi dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya pendidikan. Dengan keterlibatan aktif dari semua pihak, mutu pendidikan dapat ditingkatkan secara optimal dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Manajemen peserta didik dibutuhkan agar peserta didik dapat tumbuh dan berkembang sesuai yang diharapkan dalam meraih keberhasilan, sehingga bisa mendorong prestasi akademik maupun non akademik. Tujuan dari manajemen peserta didik adalah untuk mengelola seluruh aktivitas yang berkaitan dengan siswa, sehingga proses pembelajaran dapat berlangsung secara tertib, terstruktur, dan tanpa hambatan yang berarti. Tujuan penelitian ini 1) Untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis perencanaan, pembinaan, evaluasi dan mutasi peserta didik di SDN 2 Bebengan, Kecamatan Boja Kabupaten Kendal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian peneliti sendiri, alat bantu kamera, tape recorder, pedoman observasi, dokumentasi dan pedoman wawancara. Keabsahan data meliputi uji kredibilitas, triangulasi sumber, triangulasi tehnik, uji transferability dan uji dependability. Analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Perencanaan peserta didik di SDN 2 Bebengan, meliputi a) analisis kebutuhan peserta didik; b) rekrutmen peserta didik; c) seleksi peserta didik; d) penempatan peserta didik. 2) Pembinaan peserta didik di SDN 2 Bebengan, meliputi a) pembinaan kelas dilakukan oleh guru kelas pada jam pelajaran,; b) pembinaan sekolah dilakukan oleh guru BK terhadap siswa yang mengalami permasalahan kenakalan atau terlambat masuk sekolah; c) pembinaan oleh kepala sekolah dilakukan pada semua siswa pada saat kegiatan upacara maupun dalam kegiatan keagamaan lainnya. 3) Evaluasi pembelajaran peserta didik di SDN 2 Bebengan, diantaranya a) evaluasi dilakukan 2 kali dalam satu semester yang membahas terkait dengan kendala pembelajaran maupun permasalahan siswa dimasing-masing kelas; b) Evaluasi dimana masing masing wali kelas melaporkan perkembangan dan kemajuan kelas; c) Hasil evaluasi akan menjadi bahan acuan dalam menentukan kebijakan ke depannya sekaligus mencari solusi bersama; d) Evaluasi juga membahas dinamika permasalahan guru dan peserta didik dalam proses di lingkungan sekolah. 4) Mutasi peserta didik di SDN 2 Bebengan, yaitu: a) mutasi masuk dimana siswa dari sekolah lain ingin masuk ke SD Negeri 2 Bebengan. b) mutasi keluar yaitu siswa SD Negeri 2 Bebengan yang ingin keluar dari sekolah dan pindah ke sekolah yang lain.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of student management at SD Negeri 2 Bebengan, a Transformative Model School in Boja District, Kendal Regency. The research aims to describe how key components of student management—planning, development, evaluation, and transfer—are practiced and contribute to improving educational quality. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through structured observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The findings show that student planning is conducted collaboratively through data-informed strategies involving recruitment, orientation, and placement. Student development is supported through mentoring, guidance, co-curricular activities, and character education, ensuring holistic growth. Evaluation of learning is systematic, combining diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments used to adapt instructional practices and inform academic decisions. The school also employs regulated transfer and dropout management procedures to maintain continuity in student learning. These practices are aligned with national education standards and international best practices in student-centered management. The study concludes that structured and inclusive student management enhances academic outcomes and personal development. Recommendations include improving digital data systems, enhancing teacher training in socio-emotional learning, and strengthening parental involvement and post-pandemic support systems.
