Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of Financial Knowledge on Financial Satisfaction, with Financial Behavior as a mediating variable among cooperative employees. The results show that Financial Knowledge significantly influences Financial Behavior, but not Financial Satisfaction. Financial Behavior also does not significantly affect Financial Satisfaction, indicating no mediation effect. Findings suggest that economic and psychological factors influence financial satisfaction more than financial literacy or behavior. Therefore, cooperatives should enhance employee financial well-being through better incentives, economic stability, and practical financial management.

Abstract

SMEs compete in the business arena in terms of managerial, process and product. The competitive advantage of SMEs depends on the ability to assimilate a variety of knowledge. The aim of the researcher is to find out the Trend of Entrepreneurship Online Seminar; knowledge absorption capability as a mediation for knowledge sharing of SME members in creating SME innovation in Sidoarjo. What is the form of implementation? The research method adopted a mix method approach with qualitative methods (FGD) and quantitative survey methods using questionnaires and analysed using the GSCA application. The results of the first analysis explain that absorption capability is a liaison for knowledge sharing in creating innovation for SMEs in Sidoarjo, while the results of the second analysis using FGD explain that not all SMEs implement the form of knowledge sharing and do not pay attention to the absorption capability. This is done after attending an online entrepreneurship seminar to create innovation because the seminars that are attended are sometimes not on target and the needs of SMEs.

Abstract

Employees are the main factor that is very important in an organization to achieve organizational goals. Satisfactory performance of employees does not appear instantly but requires continuous evaluation. The objectives of this study are as follows: (1) to find out and analyze the effect of performance appraisal on employee performance, (2) To find out and analyze the effect of performance appraisal on employee career development, (3) To find out and analyze the effect of career development on employee performance. The research method used is a quantitative research method using a descriptive approach. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique by distributing questionnaires to collect primary data. The population in this study are employees of PT. Surya Artha Sentosa Mojokerto. The number of employees of PT. Surya Artha Sentosa is 125 people with a research sample of 55 respondents. Based on the research results, the Job Assessment variable has an effect on Career, then Job Appraisal has an effect on Employee Performance, and Career Development has an effect on Employee Performance.

Abstract

The reason of this study was to decide the impact of work environment and intrinsic motivation on academic achievement. The research method used is a survey, where the data collection technique is a questionnaire. Respondents were taken from Faculty of Economics students in the 2022/2023 academic year at Nahdlatul Ulama University Sidoarjo. The research sample was selected aimed at students who were working. Information collection was carried out through a survey by utilizing google forms. The investigation in this utilized used Partial Least Square (PLS) with 4.0 software. The results appear that the free factors of work environment and inborn inspiration have a critical impact on the subordinate variable scholarly accomplishment in understudies  of the Faculty of Economics in the 2022/2023 academic year of Nahdlatul Ulama University of Sidoarjo. It shows that a good and conducive work environment, adequate facilities, and also positive interactions can make students' academic achievement better and get satisfactory grades. In addition, students who have motivation towards learning materials and high self-confidence in facing challenges tend to achieve higher and satisfactory academic achievement.

Abstract

Self-development is a process that aims to improve individual ability to face challenges and achieve life goals. Workplace self-development programs are becoming increasingly popular as a strategy to increase employee performance and motivation. This study aims to evaluate the impact of self-development programs on individual personal and professional growth. The samples taken are employees who work at PT Ati Transindo located in Sidoorjo. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling technique with predetermined criteria. This study aims to evaluate the impact of self-development programs on individual personal and professional growth. The study was conducted by collecting data from employees at PT Ati Trasindo for a certain period. Data was collected through interviews and distributing questionnaires at PT Ati Trasindo. The results showed that the self-development program did not have a significant positive effect on the personal and professional growth of the participants. Participants reported improvements in communication, leadership, time management, and decision-making skills. In addition, this program also affects job satisfaction and motivation. These findings suggest that self-development programs can be an effective strategy in enhancing individual personal and professional growth in the workplace

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of knowledge heterogeneity on the business performance of women-owned SMEs in East Java, with mediation by technology use and innovation. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design and data collection through a survey of 398 women-owned SMEs in 31 sub-districts in East Java. The analysis was conducted using SmartPLS to test the structural model and mediation effects. The results of the analysis indicate that knowledge heterogeneity has a positive effect on technology use and innovation, and both significantly mediate the effect of knowledge heterogeneity on business performance. These findings emphasize the importance of knowledge-based strategies in encouraging technology adoption and innovation to strengthen SME performance.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengevaluasi dampak dari tingkat literasi keuangan dalam kaitannya dengan pencapaian kinerja keuangan pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Desa Balonggabus, Kecamatan Candi, Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Dasar pertimbangan konseptual pengabdian ini didasari oleh rendahnya tingkat literasi keuangan yang menghambat efisiensi pengelolaan keuangan dan pencapaian kinerja usaha secara optimal. Kegiatan ini mengadopsi pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menerapkan metode penelitian eksplanatori guna mengidentifikasi dan menjelaskan pengaruh antar variabel, di mana seluruh populasi yang terdiri dari 86 UMKM dijadikan sampel melalui teknik sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuisioner dan observasi, selanjutnya dilakukan analisis terhadap data tersebut dengan Menggunakan perangkat lunak Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) sebagai instrumen pendukung dalam proses analisis data. Temuan analisis mengindikasikan bahwa instrumen penelitian alat ukur yang diterapkan telah terbukti valid dan reliabel berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan secara empiris. Selain itu, Pengujian asumsi klasik memberikan bukti bahwa model regresi telah memenuhi  yang diterapkan tidak menunjukkan adanya indikasi pelanggaran asumsi statistik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menyimpulkan bahwa literasi keuangan berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan capaian kinerja finansial UMKM, yang mencakup aspek laba, likuiditas, dan efisiensi operasional. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan literasi keuangan menjadi salah satu strategi penting dalam mendukung keberlangsungan dan pertumbuhan UMKM di daerah.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of Islamic environmental ethics on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and business decision-making, emphasizing how faith-based ethical frameworks guide sustainable practices in contemporary corporate environments. Grounded in the principles of stewardship (khalifah), justice (adl), and collective welfare (maslahah), Islamic ethics provide a holistic model for aligning profitability with moral and environmental responsibility. Using a mixed-method approach that combines survey research and content analysis, data were collected from 50 Shariah-compliant and ethically oriented companies across multiple industries. The survey measured the integration of ethical values into CSR initiatives, while content analysis of corporate reports evaluated transparency, environmental commitment, and ethical disclosures. The findings reveal that organizations adhering to Islamic ethical principles exhibit stronger environmental accountability, higher ethical compliance, and more sustainable long-term strategies compared to secular firms. These companies perceive environmental responsibility as a moral obligation rather than a regulatory requirement, integrating ethical governance into daily operations and strategic planning. The results also highlight that employee engagement and stakeholder trust improve significantly when CSR activities are guided by Islamic values. Furthermore, case studies of Islamic banks and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) in Muslim-majority regions demonstrate practical applications of these principles, including the use of zakat and waqf funds for environmental initiatives and community development programs. The study concludes that embedding Islamic ethics into business operations fosters a balance between economic growth, social welfare, and environmental stewardship. It also provides a pathway for strengthening corporate integrity and long-term competitiveness. Future research is recommended to examine the applicability of Islamic ethical principles across different industries and explore their intersection with emerging areas such as green innovation, artificial intelligence governance, and digital finance. Overall, this research underscores the potential of Islamic ethics as a foundation for sustainable business models that harmonize spiritual and economic objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Knowledge sharing to improve SME Performance Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Sidoarjo by considering Innovation capability as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative method with an explanatory approach, data were collected from 31 respondents with a questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings show that knowledge sharing has a significant influence on improving SME performance. However, innovation capability does not contribute directly to improving performance, but rather acts as a supporting factor in the continuous innovation process. The findings underscore the importance of building an effective knowledge sharing culture as a key strategy in enhancing SME competitiveness amidst evolving market dynamics.

Abstract

ShopeeFood mencatat transaksi pesanan paling sedikit dibandingkan dengan kompetitornya, GrabFood dan GoFood. Meskipun terjadi peningkatan pada tahun berikutnya, pangsa transaksinya tetap tergolong kecil. Kondisi ini mengindikasikan bahwa ShopeeFood perlu meningkatkan daya saingnya untuk menarik lebih banyak konsumen. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara fleksibilitas kerja (work flexibility), insentif kerja (work incentives), motivasi kerja (work motivation), dan kinerja individu pada driver shopeefood di Sidoarjo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Kuantitatif mengacu pada filosofi positivisme dan digunakan untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dari sampel tertentu. Sampel pada penelitian ini ialah seratus lima puluh enam responden yang merupakan anggota driver yang berada di grup Facebook Shopeefood di Sidoarjo. Teknik analisis yang digunakan ialah Uji Koefisien determinasi (R2), Uji F dan Uji t-statistic menggunakan Smart PLS 4.0. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work flexibility berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap individual performance, work incentives berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap individual performance, work flexibility berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap work motivation, work incentives berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap work motivation, work flexibility dan work incentives melalui work motivation berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap individual performance, dan work motivation berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap individual performance pada Driver Shopeefood di Sidoarjo.
