Abstract

The development of research on blended learning on learning outcomes continues to grow every time, and updating information related to this variable is important. Therefore, researchers used a meta-analysis study to see how much influence blended learning has on student learning outcomes, especially in science subjects at the education level. This research is descriptive quantitative research using a meta-analysis study method. The sample in this study was taken using the purposive sampling technique, the sample was in the form of scientific articles found in the 2017-2021 timeframe on the Scopus and Google Scholar databases. The instrument used in this research is data coding. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistics. Twenty-two relevant primary studies published in national and international journals during 2017-2021 were analyzed using the meta-analysis method. Hedges equation was selected to determine the effect size obtained through openMEE software, Forest Plot, and Validation of publication bias data obtained through JASP 0.15.0.0 software using regression and rank correlation methods. The results showed that the application of blended learning as a whole had a positive influence and was able to improve cognitive learning outcomes in science and mathematics learning with an effect size of 1.483 (excellent) based on the random effect model. In addition, the level of education and subject matter did not affect the heterogeneous effect size data. This shows that blended learning is one of the best solutions in implementing science and math learning to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research discusses the analysis of teacher competency from an Islamic perspective and the Minister of National Education Regulation. Teachers have a central role in education. Teacher competency is very important to achieve national education goals. Teacher competency covers many aspects, including knowledge, skills and behavior that teachers must possess, internalize and master in carrying out their professional duties. This research highlights that the low level of teacher professionalism is due to a lack of teacher competence. The method used in this research is the library method, namely a research method whose data sources come from books, scientific articles, journals, or other research results related to the problem topic. Thus, this research aims to determine teacher competency which causes low teacher professionalism

Abstract

Meskipun konsep HOTS menekankan kemampuan analisis, evaluasi, dan penciptaan, namun pada kenyataannya masih banyak peserta didik yang hanya menerima informasi dari pendidik tanpa melibatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau kolaborasi antar sesama peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis terhadap higher order thinking skills (HOTS) peserta didik melalui diimplementasikannya model pembelajaran search solve create and share (SSCS). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen. Terdapat dua kelas pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran SSCS dan kelas kontrol yang diberi perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran direct instruction. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas X7 dan X8. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa tes untuk mengetahui HOTS peserta didik. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis diperoleh hasil yaitu sig. 0.000 < 0.05 oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengimplementasian model pembelajaran SSCS berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan nilai HOTS peserta didik secara signifikan.

Abstract

Ekstrakurikuler Pramuka adalah aktivitas yang di lakukan di luar jam pembelajaran sekolah yang dapat meningkatkan karakter untuk membentuk jati diri siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara mendalam keefektifan pelaksanaan Pramuka dalam menanamkan keterampilan sosial pada siswa setelah dua tahun kegiatan Pramuka diberhentikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif memfokuskan pada keterampilan sosial siswa setelah mengikuti kegiatan Pramuka. Penelitian dilakukan di MIMA 4 Sukabumi Bandar Lampung pada tanggal 19 April- 24 Mei 2025. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan alat bantu rekaman suara, video, foto, dan catatan lapangan. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas pembina Pramuka, pelatih Pramuka, guru pendamping dan siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler Pramuka. Total seluruh 149 siswa, 92 laki-laki dan 57 Perempuan dari kelas 4 dan 5. Keabsahan informasi diuji melalui tiga langkah, yaitu triangulasi metode, triangulasi sumber, dan triangulasi waktu. Dari hasil pengamatan penelitian, siswa mengalami kemajuan dalam berbagi aspek indikator keterampilan sosial setelah berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Pramuka. Melalui kegiatan ini, siswa mampu berkomunikasi secara efektif, menumbuhkan semangat kebersamaan, menghargai orang lain, menerapkan sikap saling membantu, bekerja sama, saling menghargai, menghormati perbedaan, dan bertanggung jawab atas suatu permasalahan. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka berjalan sesuai tujuan sekolah dan melibatkan partisipasi aktif seluruh siswa. Interaksi sosial dan tingkat kolaborasi antar siswa selama kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa program ini efektif dalam peenanaman keterampilan sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi keterbatasan bahan ajar dengan mengembangkan buku saku berbasis mind mapping yang memenuhi kriteria kevalidan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D) berdasarkan prosedur Borg dan Gall, yang meliputi tahapan Research and Information Collecting, Planning, Develop Preliminary Form of Product, Preliminary Field Testing, Main Product Revision, Main Field Testing, dan Operational Product Revision. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket validasi dan angket respon peserta didik untuk mengumpulkan data mengenai kevalidan produk serta tanggapan terhadap produk yang dikembangkan. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan produk dengan persentase validasi media sebesar 85%, validasi materi sebesar 85%, validasi bahasa sebesar 83%, dan respon peserta didik sebesar 85%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, buku saku ini dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pada materi sistem pernapasan untuk siswa kelas XI SMA. Produk hasil pengembangan ini diharapkan dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran secara efektif.

Abstract

Keterampilan berkomunikasi sangat dibutuhkan untuk mencapai keberhasilan belajar peserta didik. Memiliki keterampilan berkomunikasi akan menjadikan peserta didik untuk lebih mudah dalam mengkomunikasikan berbagai macam hal yang berkaitan dengan pembelajaran. Keterampilan berkomunikasi baik secara lisan maupun tulisan dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara keterampilan berkomunikasi dengan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) pada peserta didik kelas V SDN 2 Perumnas Way Kandis Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VA dan VB SDN 2 Perumnas Way Kandis TA. 2019/2020 dengan jumlah 65 orang peserta didik. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini  menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sehingga sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 peserta didik di kelas VA. Teknik pengumupulan data dalam penelitian ini diantaranya studi pustaka, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji statistik dengan rumus pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keterampilan berkomunikasi dengan hasil belajar pada peserta didik kelas V SDN 2 Perumnas Way Kandis Kota Bandar Lampung TA. 2019/2020 dengan indeks interpretasi kuat dengan nilai rhitung sebesar 0,771 yang lebih besar dari nilai rtabel 0,361 atau 0,771>0,361, lalu nilai thitung sebesar 6,404 dimana lebih besar dari ttabel 2,048. Kemudian, nilai signifikansinya lebih kecil dari 0,05 yaitu 0,000<0,05. Derajat korelasi anatara X dan Y didapati pada rentang 0,61 sampai dengan 0,80. Keterampilan berkomunikasi mempengaruhi sebesar 59,4% terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran IPS.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the application of the mind mapping learning model to students' creative thinking skills in natural and social science subjects in elementary schools. The research method used a systematic literature review with data sources collected through publish or perish indexed in the Google Scholar database between 2023 and 2025. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis. The stages carried out in data analysis were (1) planning, (2) conducting, (3) reporting. The results of the study showed that out of a thousand articles that appeared, they were narrowed down to one hundred selected articles that were then in accordance with the application of the mind mapping learning model to students' creative thinking skills in natural science subjects in elementary schools, there were twenty-four articles. Based on the articles that have been analyzed, the application of the mind mapping learning model significantly improves students' creative thinking skills in natural and social science subjects in elementary schools. Analysis of the twenty-four articles reviewed indicates that this model not only helps students understand and remember information, but also encourages active involvement and collaboration in the learning process. So it can be concluded that the mind mapping model has proven effective in improving students' creative thinking skills, with a positive impact that can be felt in various educational contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by pop-up book media on the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students in the IPAS subject. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control group design. The sample consisted of two classes: the experimental group, which used the PBL model with pop-up book assistance, and the control group, which used the cooperative Think Pair Share method. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test based on indicators of critical thinking skills. The data analysis revealed a significant difference in posttest scores between experimental and control groups. The experimental group achieved higher learning outcomes, indicating that the combination of PBL and visual media such as pop-up books effectively enhances students’ critical thinking skills. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of a problem-based learning model and visual media in IPAS instruction, particularly for fourth-grade students who had never used such media before. This approach has proven to encourage active student engagement and provide a more enjoyable and meaningful learning experience.

Abstract

This study investigates the writing difficulties experienced by students with dysgraphia and evaluates the effectiveness of Word Board media as an instructional intervention. The objective of this research is to identify specific patterns of writing challenges among students with dysgraphia and to assess the impact of a multisensory teaching tool in overcoming those challenges. The study involved 20 students from MI Al-Hidayah and MIS Nurul Asyrof, consisting of 10 students from grade 2 and 10 from grade 3. The participants were selected using purposive sampling based on signs of writing difficulties. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, using classroom observation, interviews, and document analysis for data collection, while thematic analysis was used to interpret the findings. The results revealed consistent issues such as confusion between visually similar letters (e.g., "b" and "d"), substitution of letters with numbers (e.g., "s" as "5"), irregular spacing, inconsistent capitalization, and letter reversal. After a four-week intervention using Word Board media, students demonstrated improvements in letter differentiation, spacing, motor coordination, and writing confidence. These findings suggest that Word Board media is a practical, low-tech, and inclusive solution for supporting literacy development among students with learning difficulties. The study contributes to the fields of educational psychology and inclusive education by emphasizing the importance of multisensory teaching strategies in early literacy instruction.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low participation of students in the learning process, which has an impact on poor conceptual understanding. Therefore, this research aims to improve students' conceptual understanding through the application of the Learning Start with a Question (LSQ) strategy assisted by Question Card Media in the subject of IPAS. This type of research uses the Classroom Action Research model. This research took place in Class V State Elementary Madrasah 7 Bandar Lampung. The research took place in two cycles consisting of the planning stage, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection on the material of Knowing the Location and Nature of Indonesia. The findings of the study indicated that the application of the LSQ method assisted by question cards was effective in improving students' conceptual understanding in IPAS learning. There was a significant increase in students' conceptual understanding from cycle I to cycle II, with the level of activity reaching a peak of 92.5% in cycle II. Students' understanding also experienced a positive increase from cycle to cycle. The number of students who achieved the Learning Objectives Achievement Criteria increased in each cycle, with cycle 1 at 81% increasing to 92.5% in cycle II. The reflection and adjustment process in each cycle made a positive contribution to the success of the learning method. The implications of this study include the potential application of the Learning Starts With A Question method assisted by Question Card media to improve students' understanding, participation, and activeness in IPAS learning.
