Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pemanfaatan sarana prasarana kerja dan self capacity building terhadap kinerja tenaga administrasi sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang dilakukan terhadap 109 tenaga administrasi sekolah. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, pemanfaatan sarana prasarana berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja tenaga administrasi sekolah pada kategori sangat tinggi. Hal ini dapat dijelaskan dari tingginya hubungan kedua dimensi pemanfaatan sarana prasarana kerja terhadap kinerja yang diukur yaitu berdasarkan prinsip dan fungsi sarana prasarana kerja. Self capacity building juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja tenaga administrasi sekolah meskipun berpengaruh pada kategori sedang. Hal ini teridentifikasi dari rendahnya hubungan lima indikator self capacity building terhadap kinerja tenaga administrasi sekolah yang diukur, yaitu workshop, seminar, courses, co-operative collegial development, dan skill development model. Pemerintah hendaknya lebih memperhatikan ketersediaan, kelayakan dan kenyamanan sarana prasarana kerja serta mengadakan berbagai pelatihan yang ditujukan untuk tenaga administrasi sekolah dalam upaya meningkatkan capacity building tenaga administrasi sekolah dapat bekerja.

Abstract

Paradigma kehidupan organisasi mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat, terutama ditinjau dari persaingan global tentang peningkatan sumber daya. Hal tersebut disebabkan sumber daya manusia merupakan aset yang sangat berharga terlebih dalam dunia pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitis. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, studi literatur dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa pengembangan SDM UPI pada periode 2000-2005 dan periode 2006-2010 melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan, peningkatan kualifikasi pendidikan, yang mendorong sumber daya manusia dapat bekerja secara profesional. Meski diakui masih terdapat beberapa hambatan seperti perkembangan karir tenaga akademik yang sangat lamban dari sisi jabatan akademik.Kata Kunci: pengembangan sumber daya manusia, pendidikan tinggi, dan manajemen sumber daya manusia.

Abstract

Pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan adalah sebuah keharusan bagi guru. Publikasi ilmiah merupakan bagian dari kegiatan Pengembangan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan (PKB) yang terkait dengan karya tulis yang dibuat guru dan hal tersebut menjadi salah satu bagian dari karakteristik guru profesional yaitu melalui budaya menulis dan meneliti. Di sisi lain, publikasi ilmiah juga menjadi upaya dalam meningkatkan penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan melaksanakan pembelajaran sepanjang hayat bagi guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan guru melalui publikasi ilmiah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif yang difokuskan pada analisis kebutuhan pelatihan publikasi ilmiah bagi guru di SMP Darul Hikam Bandung. Subjek penelitian diambil secara purposive yaitu 40 guru SMP Darul Hikam. Data penelitian berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif dikumpulkan melalui angket, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang didapat dari guru melalui angket tertutup berbentuk data kuantitatif, kemudian informasi kebutuhan tersebut dilengkapi dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Dengan kata lain proses tersebut menunjukkan bahwa analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan gambaran bahwa publikasi ilmiah guru SMP Darul Hikam sudah sangat tinggi dalam menyusun modul/ diktat pembelajaran, hanya saja jumlah publikasi ilmiah berbasis hasil penelitian dan buku berISBN masih dikategorikan cukup. Dengan analisis data dan kondisi di lapangan, pelatihan publikasi ilmiah ini ditujukan pada Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dari hasil penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan guru melalui publikasi ilmiah masih perlu ditingkatkan dan perlu mendapat perhatian baik secara individu (guru) maupun lembaga terutama dalam publikasi ilmiah berbasis hasil penelitian.

Abstract

Improving the quality of educational institution requires adequate competence from a school principal to develop of school he leads, to help improve the professionalism of the principal, the government appoints an education supervisor whose job is to carry out managerial supervision. This research aims to reinforce the impact of spectrums of educational supervision in coaching and development for school principals. The present study adopted a quantitative approach through surveys. The population in this study were all school principals in Bandung, whereas the sample was a member of the population taken through a saturation sampling technique of 39 people. Assessed through multiple linear regression analysis, the current research also examined primary sources of data collected through fulfilling the interviews and questionnaires covering three spectrums of surveillance activities (aspects of inspection, control, supervision) as well as coaching and development for school principals. The results of analysis demonstrated that Fcount is 51.7 with a significance level of 0.000 ≤ 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the managerial supervision carried out by supervisors with inspection, control and supervision delivers a positive and significant impact in the coaching and development activities of school principals. This report presented the findings of research that supervisory must be proportionate, planned, directed and sustainable.

Abstract

The research is conducted to find out how the planning process of organizing the implementation and evaluation of character education strengthening throughout programs in madrasah education units. The role of the school’s stakeholder in designing character-based learning strategies means that a great nation is a nation that has character and has high competitiveness. Good values must be owned by a nation as a competency capital so as to be able to answer the challenges in the era of globalization. Strengthening the character of the nation is in line with the hope and commitment of the Indonesian president through the National Movement of Mental Revolution (GNRM). This commitment was followed up with the presidential decree no. 87 of 2017. This research was conducted at an Islamic-based senior high school (Madrasah Aliyah) in Bandung which has the concept of strengthening character education through two aspects, learning and extracurricular. This research is a qualitative case study which collected the data through observation studies, interviews, and documentation. For data analysis techniques, there are three steps namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion/verification withdrawal. The results of the research found the planning of character education strengthening activities at this school integrated self-development programs through the school curriculum. Meanwhile, the implementation of strengthening character education is implemented through habits of behaviour and transparency. Evaluation activities emphasize the assessment of students' morals on the suitability of the program that has been planned.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the career development that exists at UPI Laboratory School High School. Career development in Human Resource Management (MSDM) is very important in improving and increasing the effectiveness of the implementation of existing work in a school institution so that it can realize the goals that have been set following the school's vision and mission. In Human Resource Management at present time it is carried out by developing Information Technology (IT), which is an opportunity and a challenge in achieving goals that have competitiveness in creating jobs. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and document studies. Data analysis in the form of unitization of data, categorization, and interpretation of data as well as a data validation test. This career development can have a positive impact on the change process by carrying out a series of positions, jobs, and positions. Schools provide facilities in development to increase the knowledge and ability of an employee to be more effective. Strong Human Resources can give birth to schools with the adaptability and capacity to update the system. In this case, of course, it must aim to develop an environment that encourages employees to learn and develop better than before.

Abstract

This community service generally aims to improve the ability of teachers to write articles on the results of classroom action research which is expected to have a positive impact on position certification and promotion of teacher ranks/classes as well as increasing teacher professional competence. where the service implementers provide training and direct assistance to the trainees with a certain closeness and emotional bond, of course, by following the health protocols, including: wearing masks and/or face shields, washing hands before entering the room, checking temperature, maintaining a good distance between participants and others. participants and participants with resource persons. As for the results and discussion, this community service with the theme of Article Writing Training on Classroom Action Research Based on the 4cs Strategy in Increasing Teacher Professional Competence was carried out at SMPN 2 Padaherang, Padaherang sub-district, Padalarang Regency with a total of 115 participants. In addition, the work on the articles of the training participants in Writing Articles of Classroom Action Research Based on the 4cs Strategy in Improving Teacher Professional Competence will be published in the PAKAR GURU journal, a national-level journal that has a credit score of 2. So that this can help participants to be submitted in promotion.

Abstract

SDM sekolah memiliki peran yang signifikan di lembaga pendidikan dan menjadi instrumen utama untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan bahkan pembangunan nasional. Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi SDM sekolah untuk meningkatkan kompetensinya adalah terkait penelitian. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi SDM sekolah dalam melakukan Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS) dan meyusun proposal penelitiannya. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan atas kerjasama dengan Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung dan partisipasi dari Pengawas serta Kepala Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Kota Bandung. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan secara daring (sinkronus dan asinkronus maya) melalui Zoom Cloud Meeting, Whatsapp Group, Email dan Google Form dalam bentuk pelatihan dan pendampingan yang dikelola dengan berbagai upaya dari tahap perancanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah tercapainya kesepahaman Penelitian Tindakan bagi Kepala Sekolah dan tersusunnya proposal Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS) dengan permasalahan dari sekolah yang dipimpinnya.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peningkatan mutu sumber daya manusia (SDM) melalui literasi digital di SMA BPI 1 Kota Bandung. Studi ini berfokus pada program literasi digital dapat menjadi strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia dalam lingkup sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Analisis data pada penelitian ini meliputi proses mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan menarik Kesimpulan dengan subjek penelitian kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah serta tim literasi di SMA BPI 1 Kota Bandung. Hasil studi mengindikasikan bahwa literasi digital berperan dalam meningkatkan mutu SDM dengan mengadakan program literasi digital seperti penulisan karya tulis ilmiah, penguatan ekstrakulikuler dengan system STEM, pembuatan rubrik elektronik melalui website, serta pengadaan bahan bacaan digital. Hal tersebut dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan teknologi, keterampilan informasi, dan kreativitas guru dan siswa. SMA BPI 1 Kota Bandung menjadi salah satu sekolah yang memiliki ciri khas program unggulan STEM dan layanan digital di Jawa Barat.Abstract: This study explores improving the quality of human resources (HR) through digital literacy at SMA BPI 1 Bandung City. This study focuses on digital literacy programs can be a strategy to improve the quality of human resources within the scope of schools. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data analysis in this study includes the process of reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions with the research subjects of the principal, vice principal and literacy team at SMA BPI 1 Bandung City. The results of the study indicate that digital literacy plays a role in improving the quality of human resources by holding digital literacy programs such as writing scientific papers, strengthening extracurriculars with the STEM system, creating electronic rubrics through websites, and procuring digital reading materials. This can be done to improve the ability of technology, information skills, and creativity of teachers and students. SMA BPI 1 Bandung City is one of the schools that has the characteristics of superior STEM programs and digital services in West Java.

Abstract

The level of teachers’ performance in executing their primary duties at school is significantly influenced by the competence of the school principal and the completeness of school facilities. This research aims to statistically measure the impact of school principals' competence and school facility completeness on the performance of vocational school teachers in the Anabas Islands Regency. To achieve this objective, a quantitative research design with a correlative approach was employed. The study population comprised 55 teachers serving in three vocational schools in the Anabas Islands Regency. The research instrument was validated using the Pearson Product Moment, and data reliability was verified through the Cronbach Alpha test. The results of the study revealed that (1) principal competence is linked to teacher performance, and that principal competence has a minimal impact on the performance of vocational school teachers. (2) Facilities and infrastructure were found to be associated with the performance of vocational teachers. The facilities and infrastructure significantly influenced the performance of vocational teachers. (3) The competence of the school principal, facilities, and infrastructure exert a significant influence on the performance of vocational schoolteachers. The competence of the school principal, facilities, and infrastructure also had a minimal impact on the performance of vocational school teachers.
