Abstract

This research intends to conceptually examine the Montessori Model and its role in enhancing the quality of daycare programs, specifically its application in Pocenter Playgroup, Ponorogo. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the study gathered data via direct observation of educational activities, comprehensive interviews with parents and teachers, and documentation of routine learning records and children’s portfolios. The results indicate that the organized environment, access to multisensory resources, and the combination of sensory and practical life activities are central to Montessori practices within the daycare environment. These activities promote children’s autonomy, focus, imagination, and self-control, while also enhancing fine-motor skills and social-emotional abilities. Interactions between teachers and children demonstrate educators' roles as facilitators and observers, enabling children to actively explore and engage with tangible materials suited to their developmental stages. Genuine assessment via portfolios and daily records improves communication with parents and guarantees ongoing stimulation between home and school. The research highlights various challenges, such as differences in teacher proficiency, scarce access to quality Montessori materials, and the necessity for improved assessment instruments. In summary, the results highlight that the Montessori Model provides an extensive conceptual foundation that greatly enhances the quality of daycare programs when applied consistently and backed by proper teacher training, oversight, and contextual adjustment. This research emphasizes the significance of combining conceptual comprehension, teaching methods, and program assessment to enhance early childhood education services in daycare environments.

Abstract

This study investigates the rise of hybrid policy dynamics in public education, focusing on the interplay between religious values and administrative logic. This research employs a qualitative case study approach, including document analysis, interviews, and field observations, to explore the policy development process and its implementation at the school level in Ponorogo Regency, Indonesia. The results show that the policy emerged from a negotiated process involving government officials, Islamic organizations, and pesantren leaders, resulting in a governance model that integrates moral standards with bureaucratic practices. During its implementation, schools displayed varying degrees of adjustment, shaped by leadership style, teacher skills, and community engagement. At the same time, non-governmental entities significantly contributed as co-governors, influencing the policy's ethical aspects and public legitimacy. Nevertheless, the prominence of major Islamic groups creates worries about inclusivity and equitable representation. The findings of this study indicate that hybrid governance provides a context-specific solution that aligns with local sociocultural norms but requires a more equitable framework to maintain inclusivity and academic integrity, including improved teacher skills, cross-community communication, and assessment methods that incorporate both ethical and educational measures. This study ultimately adds value, both conceptually and practically, by providing an analytical framework for understanding hybrid governance in education and by offering recommendations for crafting policies that embrace religious diversity while fostering inclusivity and superior educational outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract Rotation of the earth’s water cycle is cycles that are amazing and prove the power, the greatness of Alloh the Creator. Because the water supply in the earth as a whole is always fixed and measured in accordance with the necessities of life on earth. Cycle between vapor and rain water purifies itself serves earth where there are trillions of creatures population with all form and types of life and inanimate every time. This cycle also serves to maintain the balance of heat on the surface of the earth and minimize heat in summer. As such, it serves to minimize the difference between the heat of summer and winter. So that life on earth with all form maintained and preserved. Because the total water that evaporates into gas annually layer remains, as well as the total water vapor brought this gas layer, then the total rainwater that feel to earth each year remains same. The difference is only a drop in volume in a place with others places that adjusts the will of Alloh. Average rainfall reaches the earth’s surface is now 85.7 cm3 every year. This volume ranges from zero in the dry desert region and barren until 11.45 meters3 of years in the islands and forest. Keyword: water cycle, summer, volume ranges.

Abstract

Natural science education plays a critical role in shaping students’ understanding of the natural world and their responsibility toward environmental sustainability. Within faith-informed educational contexts, science learning is increasingly viewed not only as an empirical endeavor but also as a medium for ethical and spiritual reflection. This study aims to synthesise existing research on the integration of Islamic values into natural science education in fostering environmental awareness among elementary school students through a Systematic Literature Review guided by the PRISMA 2020 framework. Relevant studies published between 2018 and 2024 were systematically identified, screened, and analysed using a thematic synthesis approach. The findings indicate that the integration of Islamic ethical principles, including stewardship, responsibility, balance, and care for cleanliness, is consistently associated with enhanced environmental awareness at cognitive, affective, and spiritual levels. Integrated thematic learning, contextual instruction grounded in Qur’anic reflection, and experiential activities are widely reported as supportive pedagogical strategies. This review contributes a consolidated conceptual reference for values-informed science education and highlights directions for future empirical research on sustainable environmental learning in primary education contexts.

Abstract

Students' interest in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is often a challenge that affects the effectiveness of learning. Lack of engagement and motivation hinders the achievement of learning goals. To overcome this, the singing method was introduced as an innovative approach to create a more fun and interactive atmosphere. This study aims to explore the application of singing methods in PAI lessons to increase students' interest in SB At-Tanzil Kayu Ara in Malaysia. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews and documentation. The data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, presentation, and conclusions. Managers, teachers, and students are the main informants. The results of the research on the application of the singing method can increase students' interest. By implementing Islamic songs related to the lesson content creates a fun atmosphere, making it easier for students to understand and memorize the material while increasing their engagement. This method also increases students' confidence during learning. Thus, the singing method can be an effective alternative strategy to increase students' interest, especially in PAI lessons, and should be applied more widely in various educational settings.

Abstract

The rising incidents of violence and discrimination under the guise of religion in Indonesian society emphasize the need for effective educational strategies to foster social harmony. This study investigates the implementation of religious moderation as a strategy for anti-discrimination education in Islamic school management, with a focus on SMAN 1 Ponorogo. Using a qualitative field research approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings reveal that religious moderation, rooted in the concept of “wasathiyah” (balance), serves as a critical framework for nurturing tolerance, empathy, and respect among students of diverse religious and ethnic backgrounds. The school’s management plays a pivotal role in sustaining these values through strategic policies, including curriculum integration, multicultural education, teacher training, and clinical supervision. Student testimonies and teacher reflections illustrate the tangible impact of these initiatives, with students developing emotional resilience and forming close bonds across religious lines. The research highlights that religious moderation not only enhances school harmony but also has broader societal implications, acting as a preventive measure against radicalism and contributing to national unity. The study underscores the need for continued policy support, community engagement, and ongoing professional development to ensure the long-term sustainability of religious moderation as a cornerstone of peace education in Indonesia.
