Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan literasi baca tulis siswa kelas satu di SD Negeri 039/IX Tantan dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi perkembangan literasi mereka. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, ditemukan bahwa kemampuan literasi baca tulis siswa kelas 1 SD  Negeri 039/IX Tantan perlu ditingkatkan karena kedua siswa belum mencapai standar kompetensi dasar dalam bidang literasi baca tulis. Faktor-faktor seperti metode pengajaran yang kurang bervariasi dan kurangnya dukungan di rumah secara signifikan mempengaruhi pencapaian literasi. Hasil penelitian ini memiliki implikasi yang luas bagi praktik pembelajaran literasi di sekolah dasar. Sekolah perlu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, menyediakan bahan bacaan yang beragam dan menarik, serta menerapkan strategi pengajaran yang berpusat pada siswa. Selain itu, kolaborasi yang erat antara guru dan orang tua sangat penting untuk mendukung perkembangan literasi siswa.

Abstract

This outreach activity aims to increase parents' understanding of character education in early childhood and provide practical guidance for implementing it at home. The activity was carried out in one of the kindergartens involving 16 parent participants. Implementation methods include planning, implementation and evaluation stages. At the planning stage, parents' needs are identified and relevant materials are prepared. The activities include presentation of material, experience sharing sessions, and question and answer sessions, which take place interactively and emotionally, providing space for parents to share challenges and solutions in educating children. The results of the activity show that parents face various difficulties, such as dividing their time between work and accompanying their children, but this activity provides new insights and emotional support which the participants feel is useful. Evaluation through questionnaires shows an increase in parents' understanding of the importance of character education at home. It is hoped that this activity can be the first step in building synergy between parents and educational institutions to support children's optimal growth and development.

Abstract

Kegiatan Sosialisasi Parenting tentang Mendidik Anak dengan Cinta Dan Disiplin bertujuan untuk mengenalkan dan membangun cara pandang positif untuk membesarkan anak-anak yang bahagia, bertanggung jawab, dan berkarakter baik dengan penuh kasih sayang. Pendidikan parenting yang benar bagi masyarakat. Sehingga, peserta sosialisasi diharapkan dapat mempraktekkan materi yang di sosialisasikan terhadap anaknya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, agar anak tidak menjadi egois, keras kepala, atau mengganggu orang tua nya. Mengajari anak dengan kasih sayang akan membantu anak kita sukses karena hatinya sehat. Hal ini dapat meningkatkan perkembangan otak dan daya ingat sehingga akan muncul ikatan kasih sayang yang kuat antara orang tua dan anak. Pelaksanaan sosialisasi ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pengabdian  pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM). Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut peserta memperoleh pengetahuan dan informasi baru tentang bagaimana cara mendidik anak dengan cinta dan disiplin.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using stacking box media in stimulating problem-solving skills in children aged 4-6 years at TK IT Fania Salsabila, focusing on the plant-themed application. The research employed a quantitative approach through observation and testing of the stacking box media. The study involved 17 children in a single class. Data were collected through observations during the trials and analyzed quantitatively, with results presented in tabular form. The findings indicate that the use of stacking box media significantly and positively impacts the development of problem-solving skills in children. This media is recommended as an innovative alternative for stimulating cognitive development in early childhood.

Abstract

Sosialisasi bertema membangun komunikasi yang efektif di era digital merupakan langkah penting dalam mendukung proses pendidikan, khususnya di lingkungan TK Al Ghifari, Pematang Gajah. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran guru, orang tua, dan siswa mengenai pentingnya komunikasi yang baik dan bijak dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital. Dengan pendekatan interaktif, peserta diberikan pemahaman tentang etika komunikasi, cara menyampaikan pesan dengan jelas, dan penggunaan teknologi secara positif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan komunikasi di kalangan peserta. Sosialisasi ini juga mendorong kolaborasi antara guru dan orang tua dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung perkembangan anak. Dengan adanya tindak lanjut, program ini diharapkan mampu memberikan dampak jangka panjang dalam membangun komunikasi yang sehat di era digital.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat melalui kegiatan sosialisasi dengan tema "Positive Discipline: Mendidik Anak Tanpa Kekerasan" dilatarbelakangi oleh masih tingginya kasus kekerasan dalam pengasuhan anak di lingkungan keluarga. Banyak orang tua yang masih menganggap hukuman fisik sebagai cara efektif untuk mendisiplinkan anak, padahal hal ini dapat berdampak negatif pada perkembangan anak. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi, meningkatkan pemahaman serta menumbuhkan kesadaran orang tua mengenai dampak negatif kekerasan dalam mendisiplinkan anak dan memberikan alternatif disiplin positif. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi kepada 30 orang wali murid di TK Hidayatullah Jambi dengan menggunakan metode pendidikan masyarakat. Materi sosialisasi meliputi konsep dasar disiplin positif, dampak negatif hukuman fisik, alternatif pendisiplinan yang lebih mendidik, serta tips komunikasi efektif dengan anak. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dari peserta, yang tercermin dalam keaktifan mereka selama sesi diskusi dan pemahaman yang meningkat terkait pentingnya mendidik anak dengan kasih sayang. Program ini diharapkan mampu menciptakan perubahan pola pengasuhan menjadi lebih positif, mendukung perkembangan fisik, mental, dan emosional anak, serta membangun generasi masa depan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Prosocial behavior is a very important aspect to be taught to children from an early age. This is because prosocial behavior can affect children's ability to interact and manage emotions when dealing with others. This study aims to test the effect of the team games tournament model in training prosocial behavior in children aged 5-6 years. This type of research is quantitative research with a pre-experimental approach, using a one group pretest-posttest design without a control group. The sample used was 15 children aged 5-6 years. Data collection was carried out through observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used a hypothesis test (paired sample t-test). The results of the study showed a significant difference between the conditions before and after the application of the team games tournament model. This model has been proven effective in training prosocial behavior in children aged 5-6 years. It was concluded that the prosocial behavior of children at that age increased after the application of the team games tournament model in the learning process

Abstract

Vocabulary skills are a fundamental aspect of language development in early childhood, playing a crucial role in communication and concept comprehension. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the digital literacy game Wordwall in improving vocabulary skills in early childhood. The research was conducted using an experimental method with a quasi-experimental design involving 20 children. The analysis showed that the post-test average score of the experimental group (60) was higher than that of the control group (46). The t-test with pooled variance yielded tcalculated=6.35, greater than ttable=2.101, indicating a statistically significant improvement. Digital literacy games using the Wordwall application have proven effective in creating interactive and engaging learning, enhancing learning motivation, and strengthening early childhood vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

Early childhood education plays an important role in building the foundation of a child's character and potential. Ethnoparenting, which combines cultural values, is an effective approach to achieving this goal. This socialization aims to increase parents' understanding of the concept of ethnoparenting and its application in educating young children. Through this activity, it is hoped that parents can understand local cultural values that can be integrated into the childcare process, as well as improve the quality of childcare at TK Islam Qonita. This socialization was carried out through several stages, namely the preparation stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. The results of the ethnoparenting socialization activities at the TK Islam Qonita have succeeded in increasing parents' understanding of the concept of ethnoparenting and its application in educating young children. This activity also succeeded in improving the quality of care at TK Islam Qonita through the integration of local cultural values in the learning and care process for children.
