Abstract

This research investigates the impact of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on critical thinking abilities and student character in the reaction rate topic at SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo Utara. This research employs a quantitative methodology with a near-experimental design, specifically employing a one-group pre-test and post-test design. Data were gathered through questionnaires and tests. The study's population consisted of grade XI students at SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo Utara throughout the opening term of the academic cycle for 2024-2025. A total sampling method was used, selecting 50 students from two classes who enrolled in chemistry specialization. The findings indicate that the application of the CTL model led to an improvement in critical thinking skills, with the experimental class showing a mean pre-test result of 37.56% and a post-test result of 84.22%, whereas the replication group recorded pre-test and post-test averages of 37.33% and 83.89%, respectively. As for character growth, the experimental group displayed an average score of 80.13%, while the replication group showed 79.90%. Both classes demonstrated significant progress, as shown by the consistency of the results in both groups. The outcomes of the paired sample t-test reveal a noteworthy value of 0.000 < 0.05, prompting the dismissal of H0 and the endorsement of Ha, confirming that the CTL model positively affects critical thinking skills and student character in reaction rate material.

Abstract

Redox reactions are a type of chemical material that contains many concepts and rules that are recognized as difficult to comprehend and comprehend and often give rise to misconceptions in students. This research aims to find out the misconceptions that occur among students in understanding redox reaction material and find out the source of the causes of students' misconceptions. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative. This research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The subjects of this research were class XII MIPA students at SMAN 1 Limboto with a total sample of 181 people. Identification of misconceptions is carried out using a five-tier multiple-choice test instrument. Student answers from the test are then analyzed and categorized based on the student's level of conception. The research results show that the average percentage of students' conceptions on redox reaction material is 28.6% understanding the concept, 48.2% misconceptions, and 23.2% not understanding the concept. Apart from that, the highest cause of misconceptions comes from personal thoughts at 91.1%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh Efisiensi Operasional, Pengalaman Pelanggan, dan Harga Bahan Bakar terhadap Kinerja Maskapai Penerbangan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi literatur, selanjutnya dilakukan identifikasi hubungan antar variabel. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa Efisiensi Operasional, Pengalaman Pelanggan, dan Harga Bahan Bakar masing-masing berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Maskapai. Meskipun demikian, terdapat beberapa variabel lain seperti Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Manusia, Inovasi Teknologi, dan Kebijakan Regulasi yang turut mempengaruhi kinerja maskapai. Penelitian ini sejalan dengan temuan-temuan sebelumnya dan mengonfirmasi pentingnya peningkatan efisiensi operasional serta pengalaman pelanggan dalam memajukan kinerja industri penerbangan. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini menyarankan agar manajer maskapai fokus pada faktor-faktor yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas pelayanan, serta mempertimbangkan variabel lain yang belum dieksplorasi secara mendalam dalam studi ini. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of Operational Efficiency, Customer Experience, and Fuel Prices on Airline Performance in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative literature study approach, then the identification of the relationship between variables is carried out. The results of the discussion show that Operational Efficiency, Customer Experience, and Fuel Prices each have a significant effect on Airline Performance. However, there are several other variables such as Human Resource Management, Technological Innovation, and Regulatory Policy that also affect airline performance. This study is in line with previous findings and confirms the importance of improving operational efficiency and customer experience in advancing the performance of the aviation industry. In conclusion, this study suggests that airline managers focus on factors that can improve efficiency and service quality, and consider other variables that have not been explored in depth in this study.

Abstract

Beban kerja pilot adalah tingkat tuntutan mental dan fisik yang dialami selama operasional penerbangan. Beban kerja pilot yang berlebih dapat mengakibatkan kelelahan fisik dan mental yang berpotensi menjadi sumber kecelekaan pesawat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi beban kerja pilot. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan bersumber pada jurnal, buku maupun sumber pustaka yang relevan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa otomatisasi, tipe pesawat dan jumlah kru masing-masing berpengaruh positif terhadap beban kerja pilot. Artinya masing-masing dari faktor tersebut dapat mengurangi beban kerja pilot yang berlebih. Namun, diketahui juga bahwa terdapat faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi beban kerja pilot, seperti kelelahan dan stres, lingkungan, kondisi penerbangan serta komunikasi. Penelitian ini hanya terbatas pada faktor otomatisasi, tipe pesawat dan jumlah kru. Oleh karena itu perlu penelitian lebih lanjut terkait faktor-faktor lain. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa maskapai penerbangan dan regulator industri perlu mempertimbangkan pengembangan teknologi otomatisasi yang lebih adaptif, penggunaan pesawat dengan desain ergonomis yang mendukung kenyamanan pilot, serta optimalisasi jumlah kru berdasarkan kompleksitas penerbangan.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam inovasi pembelajaran kimia melalui pendekatan kajian literatur yang sistematis. Fokus kajian diarahkan pada publikasi ilmiah primer yang terbit pada rentang tahun 2022 hingga 2025, dengan penelusuran data dilakukan melalui portal SINTA. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa integrasi AI dalam pembelajaran kimia mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep yang kompleks dan abstrak, memperkuat literasi numerasi, serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa melalui berbagai bentuk inovasi, seperti chatbot edukatif, sistem penilaian otomatis, dan pembelajaran adaptif. Meskipun demikian, pemanfaatan AI di bidang pendidikan masih menghadapi sejumlah tantangan, termasuk kesiapan infrastruktur, literasi digital pendidik, serta isu etika dan privasi data. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sinergi antara pendidik, pengembang teknologi, dan pemangku kebijakan untuk mengoptimalkan implementasi AI secara efektif, etis, dan inklusif dalam pembelajaran kimia abad ke-21.

Abstract

Despite the importance of understanding reaction rate concepts in chemistry, students often struggle with abstract content and low engagement in traditional learning settings. Conventional teaching methods tend to emphasize rote memorization, limiting opportunities for critical thinking and problem-solving. This study investigated the influence of ChatGPT-assisted Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on students’ learning outcomes in reaction rate material. A quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group was employed, involving two Class XI groups at SMA Negeri 1 Kabila: XI A as the experimental group (using ChatGPT-assisted PBL) and XI B as the control group (receiving conventional instruction). Learning outcomes were measured using an essay test aligned with cognitive indicators. Results showed greater improvement in the experimental group, with a posttest average of 78.68 compared to 69.23 in the control group. Independent sample t-test analysis revealed a significant difference between groups (p = 0.001 < 0.05), and the N-Gain score indicated a higher improvement category in the experimental class. These findings suggest that integrating ChatGPT into PBL enhances students’ understanding of reaction rate concepts and supports more effective learning, highlighting the potential of AI-assisted strategies in chemistry education.

Abstract

Students’ higher-order thinking skills in chemistry remain low due to the dominance of conventional teaching methods. This study aimed to investigate the effect of the CUPS (Conceptual Understanding Procedures) learning model on students’ higher-order thinking skills in the topic of basic laws of chemistry. Using a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group, two classes of 28 students each from SMAN 1 Suwawa were selected as the experimental (CUPS-based learning) and control (conventional learning) groups. Data were analyzed using independent sample t-test. Results showed a greater improvement in the experimental class (pretest = 61, posttest = 79) compared to the control class (pretest = 39, posttest = 64). A significant difference was found between the groups (p = 0.001 < 0.05), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis. These findings indicate that the CUPS learning model positively enhances students’ higher-order thinking skills, suggesting its potential for improving chemistry education

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the influence of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model, when integrated with the STEM approach, on students’ collaborative abilities in the topic of atomic structure. The study is motivated by the persistent issue of low collaboration levels among chemistry learners, particularly when dealing with abstract subject matter. Employing a quantitative methodology with a quasi-experimental design—specifically the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design—the research was conducted with two tenth-grade classes at SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa, designating one as the experimental group and the other as the control group. Data were gathered through observation sheets that measured five aspects of collaboration: cooperation, responsibility, communication, adaptability, and compromise. The findings revealed a notable enhancement in collaborative skills within the experimental class following the application of the STEM-integrated PjBL model. The average final observation score for this group reached 76%, surpassing the control group’s 61%. The N-Gain score for the experimental group fell within the medium category (0.48), whereas the control group’s score was classified as low (0.17). Improvements were recorded across all collaboration indicators. Overall, the results suggest that the STEM-integrated PjBL model is effective in fostering collaboration skills and can be recommended as an alternative instructional approach for other chemistry topics to advance 21st-century skill development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan pembelajaran Bahasa Daerah dalam meningkatkan karakter dan identitas budaya siswa, serta untuk mengetahui tantangan dalam penerapannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Objek penelitian dilakukan di SDN 011 Sangatta Utara dengan subjek guru mata pelajaran muatan lokal Bahasa Kutai dan siswa kelas IV. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Bahasa Kutai berperan penting dalam pelestarian budaya lokal dan pembentukan karakter siswa. Penggunaan Bahasa Kutai secara rutin memperkuat identitas budaya serta menumbuhkan nilai-nilai seperti tanggung jawab, hormat, dan empati. Kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal juga meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Selain itu, pembelajaran ini mendukung toleransi dan kolaborasi antar siswa lintas budaya, selaras dengan tujuan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Peran guru dan sekolah sangat penting dalam merancang pembelajaran yang relevan dengan konteks lokal.

Abstract

Perkembangan jejaring sosial modern mendorong kebutuhan akan basis data yang tidak hanya mampu menyimpan informasi dalam skala besar, tetapi juga mendukung analisis relasi yang kompleks antar entitas pengguna. Model basis data graf menawarkan solusi dengan merepresentasikan data sebagai simpul (nodes) dan sisi (edges), sehingga hubungan antar pengguna dapat dieksplorasi lebih efektif dibandingkan model relasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis ketahanan (resilience) dan skalabilitas (scalability) basis data graf dalam konteks aplikasi jejaring sosial. Metode yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur, analisis komparatif antara basis data graf dan relasional, serta simulasi pengujian menggunakan Neo4j sebagai platform utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa basis data graf memiliki keunggulan signifikan dalam hal query kompleks seperti friend-of-friend, rekomendasi teman, dan deteksi komunitas, dengan waktu respons lebih singkat hingga 60% dibandingkan basis data relasional. Dari sisi ketahanan, sistem graf mampu mempertahankan konsistensi data meskipun terjadi replikasi dan distribusi data dalam skala besar. Adapun tantangan utama terletak pada kebutuhan sumber daya komputasi yang tinggi serta optimalisasi indeks. Penelitian ini menegaskan relevansi penggunaan basis data graf pada aplikasi jejaring sosial berskala besar, sekaligus memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan strategi implementasi yang lebih efisien.
