Abstract

Tanusan Bas Beach (Pasir Timbul) in Geser Village, East Seram District, has great potential as a marine tourism destination. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, inadequate facilities, and lack of promotion hinder its development. This study aims to analyze tourism potential and formulate development strategies. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with observation, interviews, and SWOT analysis. The results show that the natural beauty and biodiversity of Tanusan Bas Beach are its main attractions, but inadequate facilities hinder tourism growth. The discussion highlights the importance of adequate infrastructure, digital promotion, and community involvement in tourism management. The conclusion of this study is that with the right strategies, such as infrastructure improvement and active community participation, Tanusan Bas Beach can be developed into a leading tourism destination that contributes to the local economy and environmental conservation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas strategi promosi yang diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan ke Air Putri Waiyoho di Desa Kawa, Kabupaten Seram Bagian Barat. Pariwisata memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian lokal, terutama di daerah dengan potensi alam yang besar, seperti Air Putri yang terkenal dengan keindahan alamnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, untuk menggambarkan dan menganalisis strategi promosi yang diterapkan, termasuk penggunaan media sosial, penjualan personal, promosi penjualan, dan hubungan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun pengelola belum sepenuhnya memanfaatkan media sosial secara optimal, kontribusi dari pengunjung yang mempromosikan wisata ini melalui media sosial pribadi sangat membantu. Selain itu, penjualan personal dan kerjasama dengan pemerintah daerah juga berperan dalam memajukan destinasi ini. Meskipun demikian, beberapa pengunjung masih mencatat bahwa fasilitas yang ada perlu ditingkatkan agar dapat memberikan kenyamanan lebih. Kesimpulannya, promosi yang dilakukan melalui berbagai saluran komunikasi efektif untuk meningkatkan kunjungan, tetapi perbaikan fasilitas juga diperlukan untuk mempertahankan minat pengunjung

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh daya tarik objek wisata Pantai Sopapei terhadap kunjungan wisatawan domestik di Desa Suli, Kecamatan Salahutu, Kabupaten Maluku Tengah. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan survei menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daya tarik objek wisata, yang meliputi atraksi alam, aksesibilitas, dan fasilitas, memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap jumlah kunjungan wisatawan domestik. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi, daya tarik wisata dapat menjelaskan 26,1% variasi dalam kunjungan wisatawan. Pengembangan fasilitas dan promosi yang lebih efektif dapat meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan, serta mendukung sektor pariwisata lokal. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan strategi pengelolaan destinasi wisata untuk meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan domestik.

Abstract

Indonesia faces a high risk of natural disasters, making disaster mitigation education crucial. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a geography-based learning module in enhancing students’ understanding of disaster mitigation at SMA Negeri 3 Ambon. A mix methods approach was employed, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Data were collected through pretests, posttests, observations, and interviews. The results showed a 39.68% increase in average posttest scores, indicating improved student comprehension. Observations revealed that students became more engaged in discussions and simulations after using the learning module. Interviews with teachers highlighted that the module facilitated more systematic and practical delivery of materials. In conclusion, the geography-based learning module effectively enhances disaster mitigation understanding. However, further support in teacher training and curriculum refinement is needed to optimize its implementation

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between learning interest, parental attention, and the academic achievement of tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Buru Selatan in Geography. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Data were collected through questionnaires measuring learning interest and parental attention, as well as academic records. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression techniques to examine the relationships between variables. The results showed that the average student learning interest score was 60.5, with most students classified as moderate to good. Parental attention also had a positive impact on students' academic achievement, particularly in terms of academic supervision and motivation. The majority of students achieved good (B) and excellent (A) academic performance, with the highest score being 95 and the lowest 81. This study concludes that students' learning interest and parental attention significantly contribute to their academic success. Therefore, collaboration between students, parents, and schools is essential in fostering a more supportive learning environment.

Abstract

Education has become a crucial pillar in human civilization, ensuring the transmission of knowledge, skills, and values from one generation to the next, ensuring the continuity and progress of society. With an anticipatory and preparatory approach, ideal education prepares the younger generation to face the future with critical thinking, innovation, and adaptability to change. The utilization of learning resources in SMA Negeri 15 Maluku Tengah still needs to be improved, influenced by the lack of teacher competence in effectively utilizing various learning resources. Although teaching resources such as textbooks, digital media, and practical experiences are available, the lack of teacher skills in integrating them into teaching reduces the effectiveness of education. Enhancing teacher competence in resource utilization strategies is essential to improve the quality of education in the school. This research employs a phenomenological approach to understand the meaning of interactions in specific situations, focusing on the competence of geography teachers in utilizing learning resources in SMA Negeri 15 Maluku Tengah. This qualitative descriptive study analyzes the availability and utilization of various learning resources and their impact on learning. The results will likely provide a deep understanding of effective strategies to enhance teachers' utilization of learning resources, thereby improving the quality of education in the school. Teachers at SMA Negeri 15 Maluku Tengah utilize various learning resources in geography lessons, including conventional media and additional ones like newspapers, videos, and the internet. However, the use of digital media still needs to be improved, although they demonstrate creativity in teaching methods and adaptation to student characteristics. Further integration of digital media can enrich students' learning experiences and prepare them for the digital era.

Abstract

With its vast marine resource potential, Indonesia has a strategic fisheries sector needs development. However, most fishermen still live in poverty. Maintaining sustainable marine resources is crucial for a sustainable economy. Many factors, including catch and economic conditions, influence fishermen's income. In Maluku, the fisheries sector plays a vital role in the local economy, although there are challenges in increasing fishermen's income. Sustainable management and access to capital and technology are needed to improve fishermen's welfare. The potential of fisheries resources in Desa Pohon Batu requires further research for effective policy development. This study uses descriptive analytical methods to understand phenomena without making general conclusions. This approach allows for in-depth interpretation of collected data, providing holistic insights into the complexity of the phenomena under study. The combination of quantitative and qualitative methods yields a systematic and profound understanding of the relationships between variables and the narrative experiences of research participants. The study emphasizes the importance of understanding fishing methods and environmental awareness. Drift gillnets cause financial and ecological losses, while set gillnets improve operational efficiency. Fishermen's income is a critical factor in evaluating welfare, with most having low income due to minimal input production. This analysis is essential for developing policies supporting fishermen's welfare and economic resilience.

Abstract

Marriage is an institution that binds two individuals in a legally recognized relationship by religion, law, and custom. It is a crucial foundation for building a happy and sustainable family life. However, early marriage, particularly below the age of 20, poses serious challenges. Teenagers who marry too young are often unprepared for the responsibilities of marriage and are at risk of health and economic problems. This issue occurs across Indonesia, reflecting the complexity of social and financial difficulties. Preventive measures and vital interventions are needed to address early marriage and improve community welfare. Qualitative descriptive research in Pohon Batu Village, South Buru Regency, employs interviews, observations, and data analysis. This research explores the socioeconomic factors influencing early marriage by combining qualitative and quantitative methods. It aims to provide a holistic understanding for developing more effective policies. Early marriage has severe implications for individuals and society, as social and economic factors and parental influence influence it. Children or teenagers who marry young are at risk of health, education, and financial problems, exacerbating poverty and gender inequality. Improving education, empowering women, and economic development are needed to reduce early marriage and address its impact appropriately.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of building and developing entrepreneurial intentions for students. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of self-efficacy and entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intentions. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sampling technique used purposive sampling of 100 students. The instruments used were observation, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the classical assumption, correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis including hypothesis testing T test, F test and R 2 test. The results of this study indicate: 1) Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions, 2) Entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions, and 3) Self-efficacy and entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions. The conclusion of this research is that if universities want to build and develop students' entrepreneurial spirit, then universities need to improve student self-efficacy and entrepreneurship education.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the need to form an appropriate leadership strategy to improve the quality of education by collaborating with all members including teachers, staff, students, and parents or guardians of students. This study aims to analyze and answer learning organization leadership strategies in improving the quality of secondary education. The research method used is a literature study based on articles, papers, books and other sources that support research with a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that improving the quality of secondary education requires strong leadership from school principals, good teacher performance, student and parent involvement in the education process, and attention to internal and external factors that affect education quality.
