Abstract

This research aims to compare Carol Dweck's Growth Mindset Theory and Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences Theory in the context of developing individual potential. The study utilizes literature review and comparative analysis as the research method to compare the two theories. In the pursuit of optimizing individual potential, the growth mindset emphasizes the importance of a developing mindset, viewing failures as opportunities for learning, and creating a supportive learning environment. On the other hand, multiple intelligences theory acknowledges the diversity of intelligences and advocates for the development of all types of intelligence in education. In inclusive modern education, the application of both theories can motivate students to grow and learn, develop self-confidence, and optimize their potential in various areas of intelligence. Through this approach, modern education can create a stimulating environment, facilitate holistic development, and produce individuals who are prepared to face future challenges. By understanding the differences and similarities between these two theories, education can adopt an inclusive approach that focuses on the full development of each individual's potential, ensuring that students are empowered to achieve academic success and optimal personal growth.

Abstract

Education has become a crucial pillar in human civilization, ensuring the transmission of knowledge, skills, and values from one generation to the next, ensuring the continuity and progress of society. With an anticipatory and preparatory approach, ideal education prepares the younger generation to face the future with critical thinking, innovation, and adaptability to change. The utilization of learning resources in SMA Negeri 15 Maluku Tengah still needs to be improved, influenced by the lack of teacher competence in effectively utilizing various learning resources. Although teaching resources such as textbooks, digital media, and practical experiences are available, the lack of teacher skills in integrating them into teaching reduces the effectiveness of education. Enhancing teacher competence in resource utilization strategies is essential to improve the quality of education in the school. This research employs a phenomenological approach to understand the meaning of interactions in specific situations, focusing on the competence of geography teachers in utilizing learning resources in SMA Negeri 15 Maluku Tengah. This qualitative descriptive study analyzes the availability and utilization of various learning resources and their impact on learning. The results will likely provide a deep understanding of effective strategies to enhance teachers' utilization of learning resources, thereby improving the quality of education in the school. Teachers at SMA Negeri 15 Maluku Tengah utilize various learning resources in geography lessons, including conventional media and additional ones like newspapers, videos, and the internet. However, the use of digital media still needs to be improved, although they demonstrate creativity in teaching methods and adaptation to student characteristics. Further integration of digital media can enrich students' learning experiences and prepare them for the digital era.

This study uses descriptive analytical methods to understand phenomena without making general conclusions. This approach allows for in-depth interpretation of collected data, providing holistic insights into the complexity of the phenomena under study. The combination of quantitative and qualitative methods yields a systematic and profound understanding of the relationships between variables and the narrative experiences of research participants. The study emphasizes the importance of understanding fishing methods and environmental awareness. Drift gillnets cause financial and ecological losses, while set gillnets improve operational efficiency. Fishermen's income is a critical factor in evaluating welfare, with most having low income due to minimal input production. Abstract

Marriage is an institution that binds two individuals in a legally recognized relationship by religion, law, and custom. It is a crucial foundation for building a happy and sustainable family life. However, early marriage, particularly below the age of 20, poses serious challenges. Teenagers who marry too young are often unprepared for the responsibilities of marriage and are at risk of health and economic problems. This issue occurs across Indonesia, reflecting the complexity of social and financial difficulties. Preventive measures and vital interventions are needed to address early marriage and improve community welfare. Qualitative descriptive research in Pohon Batu Village, South Buru Regency, employs interviews, observations, and data analysis. This research explores the socioeconomic factors influencing early marriage by combining qualitative and quantitative methods. It aims to provide a holistic understanding for developing more effective policies. Early marriage has severe implications for individuals and society, as social and economic factors and parental influence influence it. Children or teenagers who marry young are at risk of health, education, and financial problems, exacerbating poverty and gender inequality. Improving education, empowering women, and economic development are needed to reduce early marriage and address its impact appropriately.
