Abstract

ABSTRAKBackground : Family Planning is also one of the most effective ways to increase family resilience, health and safety of mothers, children, and women. Family planning acceptors in Temanggung Regency prefer to use non-MKJP family planning. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the selection of long-term contraceptive methods in WUS at PMB Rubiyati.Research Methods: This research is a correlation analytic study with a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted at PMB Rubiyati. The population in this study were 43 active family planning acceptors in March 2021 at PMB Rubiyati. How to collect data by means of questionnaires or questionnaires using googleform. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis using Chi Square.Research Results: Based on the results of statistical tests using chi square with p value = 0.003. So H0 is rejected, which means that there is a knowledge relationship in the selection of long-term contraceptive methods in women of childbearing age at PMB Rubiyati.Conclusion : There is a relationship between knowledge and the choice of long-term contraceptive methods.

Abstract

Pregnancy is a very vulnerable process in women's lives so that mental health problems often arise. Neglected mental health will result in a number of adverse consequences for both the mother and the fetus. Hypnoprenatal massage is a non-pharmacological therapy that is believed to be very effective for overcoming stress, increasing relaxation and affecting emotional status and psychosocial health. This study aims to analyze the effect of hypnoprenatal massage on improving mental health of pregnant women in the third trimester. This study is nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest conducted in Semarang Regency at five primary healthcares. This study used 36 respondents who were divided into intervention and control groups. The intervention group got hypnoprenatal massage given for 2 weeks while the control group got standard care of third trimester. Mental health measure using the Self Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ) before and after treatment. Based on the result of this study there was a decrease in the average SRQ score of 2.78 after receiving hypnoprenatal massage. Meanwhile, the SRQ score in control group decrease was only 0.56 with a p-value between the two groups of 0.004 (p-value<0.05). This study concludes that hypnoprenatal massage affects the improvement of mental health of pregnant women in the third trimester. Keywords: hypnosis, prenatal massage, mental health

Abstract

The anxiety experienced by most maternity mothers arises because of fear of pain. During a pandemic, relaxation with lavender aromatherapy requires innovation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of using lavender aromatherapy masks on anxiety in the first stage of labour. The design of this study was a true experiment with a randomized controlled clinical trial. The intervention group wore lavender aromatherapy masks with a 100% concentration dose content of 0.08 ml for 120 minutes. The study sampled 40 samples.  The results of the study were that there was an effect of lavender aromatherapy masks on anxiety in the first stage of labour (p=0.000) with an effect size (d=1.319). Using a lavender aromatherapy mask can minimize the increase of anxiety during the first stage of labour.

Abstract

Masalah rendahnya cakupan pemberian ASI eksklusif dan status gizi bayi merupakan dampak dari Produksi ASI yang kurang, Capaian cakupan terendah terdapat di Kota Mataram sebesar 51,5% yang belum mencapai target 80%. Terdapat terapi non-farmakologis sebagai upaya meningkatkan produksi ASI ibu menyusui yakni kombinasi Topikal Gel Jahe Merah Dan Kapsul Ekstrak Daun Katuk. Membuktikan efektifitas kombinasi Topikal Gel Jahe Merah Dan Kapsul Ekstrak Daun Katuk dalam meningkatkan produksi ASI ibu menyusui. Penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Eksperimen dan rancangan pre-test and post-test with control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling yang terdiri dari 36 responden yang dibagi menjadi kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok intervensi diberi gel jahe merah 2mg 2x sehari dan kapsul ekstrak daun katuk 3x300mg sehari, kelompok kontrol diberikan manajemen laktasi, selama 7 hari. Analisis data menggunakan Wilcoxon, Mann Whitney, Paired Sample T-Test, Independent Sample T-Test. Rerata selisih pre-post berat badan bayi pada kelompok intervensi sebesar 291,66 dan kontrol 58,33, terdapat perbedaan selisih pada kelompok intervensi dan kontrol (p value=0,00). Kombinasi gel jahe merah dan kapsul ekstrak daun katuk efektif terhadap produksi ASI ibu menyusui.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh suhu penyimpanan terhadap kadar pH ASI sebagai indikator kualitasnya. Penelitian menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimen dengan variabel independen berupa suhu penyimpanan dan variabel dependen berupa kadar pH ASI. Metodeologi yang digunakan adalah pengukuran suhu penyimpanan ASI dalam dua kondisi: ASI yang di simpan pada suhu stabil pada 2-5 °C selama 6 jam, dan pada 2-4 °C selama 10 jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kedua kondisi ini terdapat penurunan kadar pH ASI sebesar 0,13%. Analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan antara kedua kondisi ini (p = 0,739), menunjukkan bahwa suhu penyimpanan 2-5 °C selama 6 jam dan 2-4 °C selama 10 jam memiliki efek yang serupa terhadap kadar pH ASI. Perbandingan dengan metode lain, seperti penggunaan cooler bag dengan es gel, menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Cooler bag dengan es gel menghasilkan suhu yang lebih tinggi 4-9 °C setelah 6 jam, dan 13-16 °C setelah 10 jam serta penurunan kadar pH ASI yang lebih besar 2% setelah 6 jam, dan 3,47% setelah 10 jam (Vidianti, 2018; Yundelfa et al., 2018) dengan nilai p yang signifikan (p = 0,000). Dari hasil ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa suhu penyimpanan stabil pada 2-5 °C secara efektif mempertahankan kadar pH ASI, yang merupakan indikasi penting untuk menjaga kualitas ASI. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada ibu menyusui mengenai pentingnya suhu penyimpanan yang tepat untuk meminimalkan perubahan kualitas ASI. Kebijakan untuk mendukung penyediaan fasilitas penyimpanan ASI yang memadai di tempat kerja juga dapat membantu mempertahankan praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif di tengah tantangan perubahan sosial seperti meningkatnya jumlah wanita yang bekerja.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the extraction of lemon liquid (citrus limon) using Ultrasound Assisted Extraction (UAE) technology against increasing the immunity of puerperal mothers. The method used is true experiment with randomized pretest and posttest with control group design. The results showed that the average increase in immunity of postpartum mothers in the pretest intervention group was 264.66 and posttest was 328.16 while in the control group the average result of increasing immunity was 208.76 and posttest was 137.05. The conclusion of giving the results of the extraction of lemon liquid (citrus limon) using Ultrasound Assisted Extraction (UAE) technology at a dose of 7grams / 175ml given for 14 days was proven to have an effect on increasing the immunity of postpartum mothers with a p value of <0.05. Abstract

This study aims to create a non-invasive tool for anemia detection in pregnant women based on artificial intelligence. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with small-scale tests. The results showed that a non-invasive anemia detection tool was feasible to use because it got an AUC value of 91% which was good in the diagnostic test of the tool and the sensitivity value of the tool was 94% which means the tool is feasible to use. In addition, it can determine anemia status in pregnant women with a value of (p -value 0.957). Conclusion, the design of a non-invasive anemia detection tool based on artificial intelligence is feasible and provides valid and fast results in measuring Hb levels in determining anemia status in pregnant women. Abstract

This research aims to produce an IT-based Awareness Education Model as an effort to increase knowledge of early detection of breast cancer in women of childbearing age (WUS). The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) and model testing using a quasi-experiment design (pre and post-test with control group design). The results of the study showed that the increase in knowledge in the control group increased by 50.96% and in the intervention group there was an increase of 52.49% or in other words the intervention group experienced an increase of 1.39 times greater than the control group. Conclusion: Providing the IT-based Awareness education model is feasible to increase knowledge of early detection of breast cancer in women of childbearing age. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of an educational model by combining alarms and reminder notifications to consume blood supplement tablets based on a mobile application called EDUMA to change pregnant women's knowledge and compliance with consuming blood supplement tablets. The method used was a quasi-experiment with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. The research results showed that the knowledge difference test obtained a p-value of 0.045 and compliance of 1.000. The conclusions of this research show that the only thing that has a significant difference before and after using the "EDUMA" mobile application-based educational model for 21 days is the knowledge variable. Abstract

This research aims to identify effective and innovative techniques that can be used to treat inverted nipples in breastfeeding mothers. The method used is literature using the PICO technique including: (1) Population: breastfeeding mothers; (2) Intervention: inverted nipple technique; (3) Comparison does not exist; (4) Outcome: prominent nipples. The database used is Evidence Based Practice (EBP) from the Google Scholar data base. The results of the research show that there are 5 articles that mention several efforts that can be made in the management of inverted nipples, including the use of skill vacuum therapy, modification of injection syringes, reverse syringe technique, breast care, pulling the nipple using the thumb, and forefinger and the nipple retractor method. It was concluded that the inverted nipple management method affected the nipple shape of breastfeeding mothers and the dominant technique was the technique with an inverted syringe.
